If I could give zero stars, I would. I came to Mike Shaw in December 2019 because the reviews said it would be no hassle. It was anything but - every stereotype about car dealerships were present at Mike Shaw. The sales person was pushy, the process took forever, and I was extensively nickel and dimed.

Fast forward to July 2020 and I decided to give them another chance. Big mistake. They made me wait 1hr 45min for regularly scheduled maintenance. Only to come back and realize they ignored my car for the entire time. All the while with abysmal adherence to COVID mask requirements.

Save yourself the time and headache by going to any other Subaru dealer in the Denver area. I know will be doing the same.

My first experience buying a car on my own. Very positive one too. Had to trade my previous car in and they met the price I wanted without much hassle. Also changed my mind several times about warranties and car color choice and they helped me out each time without any problems. Best part was since I wasn t able to drive my previous car in the snow well they dropped off the crosstrek at my place and drove my Camaro back themselves. Thank you OJ and Anthony for your help. Very happy with how this turned out.

This is the third or fourth time that we ve used Cliff and Mike Shaw for our Subaru needs and we keep coming back for good reason. Cliff consistently goes above and beyond for us. This last experience included needing to get someone out of state to sign over a title and he hand delivered the FedEx envelope to the drop-off location himself to make sure it got out on time.

He is patient, very communicative and dedicated to making sure that we have the best experience possible, including getting the best deal possible. He works hard with honesty and integrity.

I am beyond thrilled with my experience from Cliff working hard to get us a great deal, in a beautiful new Outback to Payton, our delivery specialist, walking us through the bells and whistles of my new car.

We will continue to give Cliff and Mike Shaw Subaru our business and will recommend them with enthusiasm to anyone in the market for a new vehicle.

Cliff is awesome! We told him what we were looking for and how much we were willing to spend. He showed us the car, we took it for a drive and we went back to his office. After working out the specifics we walked out with keys to our brand new Subaru CrossTrek!

My husband and I purchased a new Subaru a week ago. We weren't really "prepared" financially for a new car so I was very nervous that we could even afford a new car, and I wasn't sure how I felt about Subaru's, as I have always been a fan of 4 Wheel Drives because we live out in the country. Mr. Susser found the perfect car for us before we even got to the dealership. He showed us several other options, but I was in love the first one he showed me. After a few minutes over the phone before going to the dealership, and looking over our financials, he explained each and every option we had so I had no doubts about which decision was best for us. I couldn't believe how much I love driving my Outback. Mr. Swaim showed me everything there is to know about the car during our test drive and even sent me youtube links to further explain some of the features. I have never felt safer or happier in a car. I am kicking myself that we didn't do this years ago. I was so confident about moving forward, and we left the same day with a brand new Subaru. I cannot say enough about how smoothly and quickly our purchase, paperwork, test drive went - and on a busy Saturday! I will never go to another dealership after the service I got at Mike Shaw from Jonathon Susser and Clifford Swaim and their staff. I didn't even"sleep" on the purchase because I felt 100% about the decision, and a week later I am so happy we did it.

My salesman Ricky V was amazing! I was greeted immediately and not pressured into something I didn't want. I was a bit picky about what I wanted and Ricky was absolutely patient and helpful/knowledgeable. Once I decided on my vehicle, they worked so hard to get me the financing I wanted! Frank C finished up my paperwork and explained everything in detail. This team was amazing and I can't thank them enough for being so helpful!

Eric Grimm did an incredible job. Had us in and out in 45 mins as we were under a time crunch. Really knew the car and made it super simple for us. Follow up has been fantastic. Daughter-in-law is very happy.

I can't here on a Saturday to get my oil changed, when I arrived I spoke to a gentleman named Tim who helped me get everything sorted out. Tim was an exceptional employee who not only gave me a straight forward run down of what I was getting, but also helped informed me that I was close to an 18,000 mile check up that would be very beneficial to my vertical. Tim did all of this without me feeling pressured into spending more money. All the employees we're not only sincerely friendly, but they all seemed incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I will be returning here for all future maintenance, and I hope everyone gets the opportunity to work with Tim upon their visit due to us above and beyond service!

I traded in my Toyota at Mike Shaw to lease a brand new Subaru Impreza (with all the bells and whistles, of course!) and I couldn t believe how easy my salesman(Randon) made the process! In comparison to my last purchase, it was completely stress-free, and I was in and out in just a few hours with a brand new car that I love! I highly recommend this dealership!

Thank you so much to the team here they were so amazing and a special thanks to Mathias! We were driving cross country from NYC to CA and our car lit up with every warning light. We pulled into the service area at 4pm and we were immediately greeted with such warmth and empathy for our situation. Mathias knew what to do and guided us through fixing our car so we could make it to CA safe and sound. He was able to get us in right away and put the door before dark. Blown away by the professionalism, efficiency, and kindness! This is the only Subaru place to go in my opinion.

I bought my new Subaru here in 2015, and have serviced it here since. Everyone is friendly and professional, and I've always felt like the staff here is honest with me (a rarity when it comes to automotive businesses in my experience).

My wife and I recently bought a 2020 Subaru Outback and we received phenomenal service. Zach Auferio and Greg Kadnuck helped us out, and we could tell they were genuinely trying to help us purchase our new vehicle to the best of their ability. Glad we were approached by them.

Cliff is the best! Bought my second Subaru Outback from Cliff Swaim. I am a research nut. I had the consumer reports on the car, KBB value, and estimated cost of the warranty. I went to every dealer from Fort Collins to Westminster to Boulder over the course of 3 months. HE BEAT THEM, and he didn't make it a game to charge me more. He told me what he could do with the numbers, we agreed happily, and off I was! And, not only that, he was by far the most knowledgeable on the car. Even after buying the car, Cliff followed up and showed he cared more about the relationship than the sale. I will be going back to Cliff when I get a new car, though I expect my Subi to last a lifetime:) Thanks Cliff!

Well ill be honest im a Subaru fan in general but i was very pleased with my purchase and the customer service i received from Mike Shaw Subaru. Eric and Tommy were some cool guys and although there was an issue in the beginning, i still found that Eric was fighting to meet my needs and in the end, got it done. .get called back a week later financing was not as planned caused higher interest rate, shorter term and a higher payment. Finding little things wrong with car. Total sham of a dealer. Won't deal with them again.

They scammed my mother into paying to replace a bad battery that was covered under the warranty on the car she bought a month ago. It was supposed to be free, not $165.
Don't trust them!

First dealership I've ever been to that not only offered zero incentives (outside factory offers), but was offended that I didn't want to pay MSRP. The sales guy was cool, but probably because he was new.

Bought a used Jeep from Mike Shaw Subaru and had nothing but problems with it, even though it only had 48K miles. The engine had to be rebuilt before it even reached 50K miles. The suspension was so far out of alignment that it damaged several components and cost another $1000 to repair just to get it back to the point of being safe to drive. It still has severe steering and braking problems. The mechanic said that there was no way any inspection was done to the car by the dealer, because the front end was over three full inches out of alignment. I called the dealership to discuss the problems and their response was nothing more than "Sorry, we sold the car 'as-is' and you should have had it inspected by a third party," followed by a half-hearted offer to accept the Jeep as a trade-in on something else. Their claims about Mike Shaw being "dealer of the year" for exceptional customer service are nothing more than the same old used-car-salesman garbage. This dealership is pretty much the bottom of the barrel.

When it came time for me to sell my car, I contacted Cliff to get his guidance and advice. Cliff is an incredible salesman. We purchased a 2014 Forster From Amanda maes, I had a great experience she had gotten us in and out extremely fast which is what we wanted. It was around dinner time she even offered to order us Jimmy John's. Now that's what you call great customer service and taking care of the customer. It's hard to come to professional businesses and find a woman with the dedication and customer service she provided.

We came in to Mike Shaw on Labor Day to look into trading in my Impreza only because the lease was ending. I loved my little car but it was time for something faster. My husband had the bright idea of me buying a WRX - not really the right car for a 56 year old. Our salesperson, Jon, shared with us that the Forester XT has the same engine as the WRX - a PERFECT solution! The dealership was able to pull the right deal together for us that day and we drove home in our beautiful new Forester. I was very pleased with my experience there - and hope I have the same experience when I visit the service center. I'll let you all know!

My 2010 Outback's dash blew up one day with warning lights (check engine, cruise, brake, etc.). I took the car in for service, and Steven was wonderful - he arranged a loaner car for me so that I could get to work for the next couple of days. Jonathan Susser, the service manager, saved me over $1000 on parts and labor by recognizing that the repair was covered under warranty.

Bottom line: Fantastic customer service, paid exactly zero dollars for repair. I love this place.

Horrible experience at this place, First off they lie to about everything just so you can leave the lot in one of their cars then they go and change all the payments and total of years you have to pay, and not by a little but by alot. I would not recommend this place to anyone, hopefully nobody will go there and they will close down. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!

Bought my car a little more than a month ago. Would not return if I had to deal with Tevan. Rob was great. Service department first time I had to deal with them would of been nice for them to mention that a loaner car or shuttle was an option when scheduling my appointment for a hitch install that would take several hours. Second time I dropped it off would of been nice to know that the latest I can pick my car up was 5:45 so when mentioning I literally say work till 6pm that way I am not scrambling to leave work in the middle of my day to get my car since I wouldn't of been able to leave early. Also would of been nice not to find grease on the interior where my car was being worked on. Also if you tell a customer you are gonna provide updates throughout the day you should probably do that too. not just tell them last minute that it is done.

I'd been driving my old beat-up, crashed car for a year. After running it into the ground the time came where I needed to get a new vehicle. As a single mother with poor credit and no down payment I wasn't real confident that there was any way I would be able to get into a vehicle without jumping through hoops or selling my first born. Cliff Swaim, however, worked hard to get me into a safe and reliable vehicle. He and his team went out of their way to accommodate my needs and even took my old crashed car as a trade-in. Cliff was super respectful and made my car buying experience easy and fantastic! The car is absolutely amazing and the peace-of-mind this has given me for my son and myself is priceless. Called to make appointment for open recall, simply top off transmission with fluid. Set the time for 3:00 pm. Came 11/2 hours eary so car could cool down. Was informed car would have to stay the night. Not what i was told when making appointment. Needlless to say not happy!
