Clean room, staff friendly and helpful, easy to access from metro Rochester. The Acropolis Restaurant across the parking lot has good diner food, opens early, nice staff and easily makes up for the sparse continental breakfast the hotel offers. The reasonable room pricing makes up for buying breakfast.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast was a not as good as some of it's competing hotels in the area, but the friendliness of the staff made up for it. I would definitely come back and stay again.

I love some of the workers there they helped me in tremendous ways but then when it came to management they were just rude and tried to male you feel stupid and then harass outside the hotel to try to pull more money from you even if you paid them off

One of the best hotels for the price I ever experienced. I would pick it over any neighboring chain. Price was ridiculously low. Will be staying here again in future. Only complaint no king beds.

No pool, but there was an exercise room with weights, bikes, and a treadmill. There was nice service one day, there were cookies in the lobby! There was an awesome pancake maker for breakfast (there were also doughnuts and muffins and boiled eggs and yogurt). Fine rooms, fine room service.
It's conveniently placed a short drive from Aldi and other stores.
The internet was a pain though it kept stuttering, which wasn't good for my remote connection, and it made downloading take forever.

Sheets had not been changed in room. Found dry skin specks and hair under top sheet. Used towel hanging in the bathroom. Complained and the front desk wanted to give me fresh sheets and have me change them myself. I demanded another room which they gave me. Not a good experience.

This is one of the better Microtels in which I stayed. They always have fresh baked cookies in the evening and the complementary breakfast is better than most other hotel chains. The room rates are reasonable as well.

First floor room, clean and comfy. However the water temperature in the shower was impossible, it was only either scalding hot or freezing cold with no in-between. Other than that the room was perfect for a one night stay and the donuts at the breakfast were fanstastic.

Excellent affordable hotel. The wifi works flawlessly (unlike some cheap hotel/motel wifi that barely picks up outside the lobby). The staff are friendly, willing to answer any questions you might have. No one seemed short or put off, like the staff in some cheaper motels.

The rooms are great, featuring a full bathroom, Kitchenette, and either two beds, or one bed and a "living room" area with a sofa. Very cozy, almost like a little apartment. Great for extended stays. And they are kept fairly clean. The sheets may have the occasional (small) stain, as they aren't likely to throw away good bedsheets for every guest like a luxury hotel can afford to do, but nothing in the room ever feels dirty or questionable. Very high cleanliness levels.

The free "breakfast" is indeed a simple affair, consisting of free coffee and juice (apple or orange) and some fruit and donuts (from Dunkin Donuts down the road). But it's certainly nice enough, and for the price you pay for the room, it's hard to complain. The hotel is conveniently located near several restaurants if you would like to eat out instead. The built in kitchenette (microwave, Fridge, and sink) also makes preparing simple meals in your room relatively easy, and Wegmans is located just down the road.

And finally the location is excellent as well. While Chili is convenient for shopping and dining out, while being quiet and safe, make no mistake, you can reach the city of Rochester proper in mere minutes. Chili Ave/ Main street runs straight into the heart of the city, with freeway access to the surrounding area branching right off of it. In fact, Nick Tahous is a straight shot down the road. There's nowhere you can't get to with relative ease from this location.

I will certainly be staying again.

Up until August i would give this hotel a 5. Now i am giving it a 1. Understand this 1 is aimed at the new management that took over. We lost our apt. in Feb. We stayed at this hotel from that time until the end of August. The former manager was a kind, caring person. He gave us a good rate because we were staying long term until we found a new place to live. It was great there. The staff were all kind and helpful. The breakfast was great. It was clean, safe and comfortable. Then new management came in and moved the manager to a new hotel. I came up to the desk to pay for the next few days through Sunday. The new manager came running out of the back room and quite loudly, in front of 5 staff people and quite a few people staying in the hotel who were in the lobby, said "NO, only let her pay through Saturday." Then she loiked at me and said "Sunday you need to leave". I told her we had nowhere to go. She shrugged and said we had to leave.
We had to scramble to find someone to hel us move our things and find a hotel that was as low in cost as possible and accepted pets. This place we had to go in costs a lot more, has no breakfast and has quite a few seedy people. So here i am a grandmother with my two Granddaughters stuck here because of her that manager. When we were there, we cleaned our own room. Vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom with lysol on my knees. I even came out during one breakfast when one employee was no where to be found, so i washed my hands, put on rubber gloves and filled in all the empty food people were complaining about. For all that i was treated with total disregard. If they wanted long term people with lower rates to leave, we were among at least 5 other families staying there for similar reasons, she could have politely introduced herself, explained why and gave us time and help to move elsewhere. That would have been the decent thing to do. So the hotel is nice, i assume the staff is too. But the person running the hotel....not so much. I feel it's important to let people know.

Love this concept and the execution! Simple, clean, and small. Yet large enough for my needs. Even though I stayed just one night, I was impressed by the service, amenities, and cleanliness. Free continental breakfast was a plus.

Most of all, I left my phone charger in my room after check out. I was on my way home, 300 miles away, and called. Management didn't hesitate to mail me the charger. Received it today in the mail. Kudos to the team at Microtel Inn at Rochester Airport!

will never. stay. here. again. The rooms have walls that are paper thin, heard everything from our neighbor. Not only that but, on our last night, there was a smell of cigarette smoke so strong that it took two washes to even get it out of the clothes I brought with me on the trip. We were on the ground floor. RIGHT next to the front desk. And they did nothing about it when I brought it up with them. The staff is unresponsive. The rooms were grimy. Frankly, sleep in your car if you can--you'll have a more favorable experience.

I am completely APPALLED by the way your front desk staff treated my parents this afternoon. Your front desk staff (who refused to give his name) but later when I called he answered and his name is JOSEPH cursed at my parents, threw their luggage, and was completely rude and screaming at them! Asked my Father if he thought he was Jesus Christ himself because my mom was wearing a religious shirt. Telling them he doesn t make enough to put up with people like them

This all stemmed from the fact that the handicapped room they reserved was not actually available for them to use, then the manager offered accommodations to make up for that, which he refused to honor. He tried to cancel my parents reservation multiple times despite them saying they still indeed need their room there.

I don t appreciate my mother being discriminated against for what she was wearing or the fact that she requires special accommodations. I don t appreciate their luggage being thrown. I don t appreciate your staff using every curse word in the book in front of my child!

You are in the hospitality business and this is unacceptable! Clearly this hotel has gone down hill and continues to go downhill considering last time they stayed here the housekeeper stole money from them.

I refer EVERYONE coming here to stay here but that ends TODAY. You should be ashamed! I will tell any and everyone what happened today. You should be glad that I wasn t there because I would have recorded Joseph s actions and sent it in to the news!

I absolutely love this hotel and the desk staff, but I will never stay there again after being robbed by housekeeping, then getting kicked out for reporting the theft. Most trusted employee my ass.

Horrible just plan horrible. We booked a suite with a Jacuzzi that did not work. When we called the front desk all the attendant could say was she didn't know how it worked. Fine we left it at that. Then to our suprised at 1am in the morning The Jacuzzi turns itself on making these loud noise, again the desk attendant didnt offer any help and moved us to the next room over which we could still hear the jacuzzi throughout the night. The next morning we spoke with the manager Tyler and he refused to give us a free night because "If we give everyone a free night when something goes wrong we'll make no money". After arguing back and forth he gave a us a that night free and we did not want to come back. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Not even a sorry for the inconveniences placed on us

We booked and paid for a room with a jacuzzi, when we arrived we were told that all of the jacuzzi rooms were booked and were given a tiny room after waiting in line for 15 minutes. While in the lobby I saw 2 other customers that were unable to check in because there were no rooms available even though they had paid for one.

Room was small and the air conditioning barley worked.

I've stayed here in the past a few times while visiting home. This time accidentally booked through Reservations.com and tried to cancel and they refused. Said they would have to send a claim to the billing department. Did read that there was a 19.99 cancellation fee which I am fine with. Now I have to wait 5 to 7 days to see if they will allow me to cancel. A $500 dollar cancellation.

Hope to leave a better review when I receive the email.

1 star because 0 doesn't register. Not only was i rented a room that was deemed deemed unfit for a different guest. Unfit because the frame of the entrance door was not secure and with little effort it could be opened from the outside by just pushing on the door. But when were all put out because of a fire in the hotel the Manager basically just cut ties with everyone and gave us no assistance on relocating. Not to mention i was part of a wedding party that was renting quite a few rooms at this establishment. With such an unfortunate event happening i would think that people in the Hospitality business would be at least somewhat hospitable.
