Interesting behemoth of a campus, a fleet of mini-vans bring thousands of workers from outside parking areas and to and from buildings. Signage for Visitors is minimal. HINT: Look for the big Microsoft sign where pictures are being taken, go up the stairs, go to desk for badge and proceed. Parking is free. Traffic in Bellevue is beyond Unbelievable. My sympathies.

Doesn't honour warranties. I bought a new wireless controller for my original Xbox 360. It says it has a 90 day warranty against defects. The controller button stopped responding after 32 days so I contacted Microsoft support. After getting the runaround I finally got to talk to someone who knew enough about the problem to be competent. The had me give them the model number of the controller and the serial of the Xbox even though it was way past warranty and was purchased separately from the controller. I mentioned this and was told it was to open an account. I have been on Xbox live for over 5 years and was talking to them through that account but I needed a new one? After about 15 minute ways of "I'll be right back." I was asked if I had a newer Xbox or knew someone who did. I said no and asked why. They said the Xbox I had had been discontinued and couldn't be used to open an account. I told them I was contacting them about the controller which was under warrant and not the console. They said without a newer Xbox they couldn't help and disconnected me. Do you want to do business with a company like this?

I'm actually not a huge Microsoft fan. I feel like they built a lot of for quality products during the 90s and 2000. I must say that my experience here was fantastic. My son was able to gain some great industry-specific knowledge from some extremely bright and talented individuals. Entire Microsoft campus is organized and laid out so that the employees feel accommodated and valued. I can sense the tremendous amount of pride that Microsoft takes and creating a campus culture second to none.

I made a terrible mistake in trusting Microsoft to be my provider of phone system. The Team's platform is a total scam. My main corporate toll free number has been down for two whole weeks simply because their crappy system is so broken it can't take payment for calling credits. Fortunately, we don't rely on this number for orders, but for anyone out there that does need a working phone system to run their business, avoid Microsoft like the plague.

There is a Visitor Center.
It has a Microsoft logo, so it's good to take pictures.
But that's all.
The Visitor Center is not open on weekends. You can't buy souvenirs.

Two things that need to be improved.

Two things that need to be improved.

I like WIN10, and I agree that there are many good designs and functions in WIN10, but I have to admit that there are also some annoying things in it. I'm hoping that Microsoft can do better.
Two things.
First, is it possible to reduce the frequency of auto update. Compared to mobile devices such as phones and tablets, laptops and computers are used for work that needs stable work environment. I don't think people will like unfamiliar new features or different UI popping up immediately without letting them know in advance. This may disrupt the way people use computers to work as they usually do.
Second, can we have options to stop updating and stay at the old version of WIN10. Sometimes, people just want stable, reliable, and controllable system. For that period, they don't want to have any changes about the system. Once people can stop the update, then they really get the full control over the device they bought, then the device truly belongs to the buyer. Otherwise, the device still belongs to system creator --- Microsoft. This is the reason that there are still many people stay at WIN 7 and WIN 8, that still many people are using unlicensed system mainly because they can choose not to update.
It's only my opinion and maybe it's not 100% right.

I will NOT spend a dime anymore on Microsoft. Their support is the most horrible in the world. I called three so-called "Tech-support specialists" and none of them had any idea how to fix a very simple issue.

A few years ago all their software had physical installation discs and activation was the last step. Now, without any warning, your software is "activated" as soon as you enter your Microsoft account information. I HAVEN"T even installed it yet and now I'm stuck with it. The specific copy belonged to a customer and I am helping him troubleshoot some problems. I tried to download a clean copy via their software library and without ANY warning, they registered the customer's license with my account. Their tech support said this step is irreversible and now I owe the customer $399. Microsoft is whole bunch of thieves and burglars.

In comparison Apple has always solved my issue right away. They even go the extra miles to help me understand what causes the problem even if the issue is not caused by an Apple software.

Love hate relationship but I have to give them a great review for working out so many of the kinks they had previously. Windows is getting better but I hate the commercial bundling that comes with a lot of new machines.
