Went to buffet was ok....not too many food options...
Went to buffet was ok....not too many food options during the week. Fried chicken was the bomb.

Calm atmosphere, nice machines. Staff was friendly too. Great alone, with friends, or company function.
Garden arena was the place for sold out Jimmy buffet. Great sound and seating. The food places were clearly not ready for a sold out show. Many were holding back seating, when they had plenty of empty tables
I suggest reservations, and early planning. We ate at pricey China tang. Food was great.
Great food, service and romantic views of the Intercoastal
We ate at the Grand Buffet (aptly named). The food was excellent and the hot food was hot (not true of most buffets). The dessert area had about 40 different choices, amazing. As with all buffets, you must get there hungry. You will enjoy the eating experience.
It has jacuzzi tubs and it has a golf course and a lazy river and like 8 pools.
Very nice hotel! A lot was not open due to covid shutdowns but all in all we had a nice stay.
I enjoyed the MGM Grand. This hotel had everything, casinos, various restaurants, clubs & an arcade
Stayed in a room with 2 queen beds everything seemed clean and when we arrived at the hotel to check in we even received an upgrade at no cost. Due to COVID the check in does take a while. Enjoyed my stay the only thing that was a bit concerning was the AC unit in my room couldn't seem to get the room cooler.
Lovely place... Luxurious room and even better spacious bathroom and all the amenities... The room had all the facilities and a mini kitchen and sink.
The best place in Las Vegas, play, food and enjoy wonderful casino, big place,I like and I can recommend
Great location, easy access to the pools, very clean facilities. Great weekend
Hunger games experience big fail with the 10 dollar locals deal that was really 60 dollars for 2 locals. Very disappointed that i traveled and walked thru property to be turned away
Fairly easy check in and super easy check out. Do not touch mini bar items though as I picked up a charging cable to look at it and was automatically charged! They did see the item was put back and removed the charge.
Nice location on the strip and generally clean. If you have friends staying here with you, make sure you get an extra room key. The elevators only work for your floor and tower!
The blackjack tables only paid 6/5. That's a horrible way to cut odds to us. The people are nice and friendly as always.
I dislike smokey casinos. Most do a good job filtering, the Grand No So Much. The restaurant are very good and will visit them again in Vegas. I would not recommend the West Wing at all, its very very dated and not the best views. The Lobby Bar is pricey but it is a good atmosphere. Whiskey Down.....well its Whiskey, enough said!
The one thing that drives me nuts in Vegas. Escalators out of service. I would say about 15% of the escalators are out of service. 80% of the time its the up escalators. How is there this much money changing hands but they can't keep the escalators in service?
Sure I can take the stairs but if you have never walked the strip in Vegas, you don't know how frequent stairs in 90+ degrees occur and suck. When we average 27,000 steps a day, hitting a two story flight of stairs at every intersection and hotel lobby adds up.
Great place changed lots since 2004. But still great place to see eat and relax
Lazy river pool is the main attraction. The fact that they close the lazy river at 6pm was the only down side. During daylight savings time there is still plenty of sun at 6pm they should extend the hours and close at 7:30pm instead. The rest of the pools close at 8pm. Making it a perfect time
Everything has a price. You don't feel like a guest. You want shade at the pool $$ you want a refrigerator in you room $$ there's no hot water mid afternoon to take shower and the $37 resort fee per day gets you what?
Cabana rental for 1100.00 was overrated. No misting at the cabana. And refrigerator not working and a little over priced by Vegas standards. But food was above average
Great location but had to wait a long time for my room to be ready. I was told 3pm at check in but did not receive the text until after 4:44pm
Tons of security. Lots of places for hand sanitizer and face masks.
Always a great time! You can usually find a good deal if you sign up for their rewards program
Although a classic, there's not enough theming in here to entertain a casual strip-walker like myself. If it's between, say, MGM or New York New York, I'll choose the latter. MGM has taken away almost all of its former themes like the Wizard of Oz and even the MGM lion in the past 2 decades, and now is just a quality, mainstream casino with a couple fun things to do.
Had a wonderful time, room was clean, food was good
In Vegas you'll have to visit the MGM Grand it is grand for sure friendly staff willing to help
Awesome place we had drinks at the bars b4 Fury fight
1st time in Vegas and we picked the MGM Grand. Hotel is nice. Casino could have better slots selection. Biggest problem I had was, they would not offer us a late check out. I called the hotel in advance to confirm that I could do this and they said not worry, just make sure I had it in my booking notes (which I did). When I checked in, I reiterated this and was told to go down the night before to make sure they could do this (tonight). I just got back to my room from having a very unpleasant experience with three front desk staff (1 worker & 2 managers). They told me that they could not give me a late check out because the hotel was fully booked but I could go online and book a room for two nights because that's their minimum. I said "you just told me the hotel was fully booked but I can go online and book for two nights??? That doesn't make any sense!" I offered to pay for another night so my mom and I could keep the room until we had to leave for the airport. They said no, that's not an option because they're fully booked but I could go online and book a room for two nights. This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. They said it's corporate policy and that's all they can do. Keep in mind, I called the hotel to confirm this before booking my flight and hotel. The manager said that they do offer late check outs for 1pm, 3pm & 6pm for an extra charge. I said "Great! I'll pay extra to stay until 6pm." The manager said "sorry but you had to do that at booking." I said "but I wasn't told that or offered that, or even had an option for that when I booked." He then said "yeah, you're not suppose to know that." Huh?!?!?! I'm suppose to do something when booking that I'm not suppose to know about?!?! This was the most confusing and stressful conversation I've ever had!!!! On top of all this, I have two medical conditions, that doesn't allow me to sit for an extended period of time. This is why I needed an late check out to accommodate my medical problems, which I was apparently suppose to do when I booked but I couldn't know anything about it!!!! Come on MGM, this is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard!!!! Clearly I will never stay here again!!! Thanks for all the extra stress!
Did New Years Eve on the strip in front of the MGM. It was awesome!!! May do this trip again next year!!!
Standards have been lowered. Self parking place was dark and dirty.
Great customer service and my room is very clean and relaxing
This one is for the brunch buffet. Pretty small section, but not cramped which is good. Went on a weekday so no wait which was great. They serve coke products, carving station, omelette station, fresh fruit, salad bar, normal american favorites, Mexican favorites, some cali sushi options, very small dessert selection. Overall i enjoyed it since it has the popular options. Also the buffet is on the half off tickets booth a lot so even better. Cant beat that
Was staying at the SLS Hotel, but was touring several hotels MGM was one of them, nice restaurants and store, casino, A must stop by and see.
MGM is beautiful, great atmosphere and the steps they are taking to keep everyone safe is great.
This was my 2d and last visit to MGM Grand Las Vegas. I reserved & paid for a room with strip view. What I received was not a strip view. They did have many safety measures in place that are commendable, but the masks provided to guest rooms are ill fitting and kept slipping down. You could not visit any other floor except where your room was, unless you had a key card or with someone from another floor. They did take temperatures but only when at check in, so going in and out, your temperature is not checked at ANY casino in Vegas. There were hand easing stations through out and staff did remind guest to wear masks while gambling. The machines were placed with social distancing in mind. There are no free beverage (soda & water) machines for guests. Overall, it was average but expected more for the price.
Went to MGM to celebrate my birthday and it was the worst experience ever! We had a dog in the room next to us constantly barking all night long, call the security multiple times nothing happened. It happened for my entire trip there. When we signed out of the room, we told the manager and The best he could give us is one buffet ticket for a family of 4. DONT EVER GO HERE. We went to paris instead and they were amazing! GO TO PARIS LAS VEGAS!
They sure do make getting to the monorail a journey. Nothing compelling over the other offerings on the strip
What a big casino, but very fun love the atmosphere come on to service,
The rooms are starting to look a little run down. I liked the pre check in it was very quick and the front desk accommodated my room change request to be closer to the elevator. The shower was not very good and the tiles were very spotted making it look dirty. Haven't stayed here in a couple years. Likely will stay elsewhere in future.
I didn t stay here. I only came here to Brad Garret s Comedy Club. It was meh... comedians were ok. One girl gave me a hard time when I got up to use the restroom. So, I would probably never go to that club again. The MGM grand is huge. It looked nice and clean. The staff is pretty helpful when giving directions. The casino was pretty busy every time I went there.
Great service, staff was friendly and very accommodating, room rates are very reasonable. One of my favorite places to stay when I'm in town...
I had a job interview today and it went extremely well. Everyone that I had contact with during the process were very professional and respectful. I'm looking forward to becoming part of the team !!!
Pool area is fantastic as it boasts a lazy river and a few other pool areas. They also have the dayclub hakasan. Good location on the strip at the start of the monorail. Wonderful selection of shows and restaurants. It also has one of the largest casino floors in Las Vegas. My only complaint was the rooms as they are not very sound proof.
This place is a maze. Nothing too spectacular to see here I felt as someone who doesn't really gamble. Food is overpriced but that's to be expected. Room is nice with a good view so can't really complain!
The pools are very nice. The rooms are clean and spacious. Casino is clean. The pool is too far away from the main building. The resort fee is a scam. The only real amenity they can attribute to the resort fee is wi-fi.
Great place to stay when you go to Las Vegas!! I am amazed at the great group of people they have assembled to take care of every detail. The staff & the management have always been awesome, the restaurants are great, the casino, and sports book are both world class. They have earned my loyalty, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else!
Lots going on lots to do. Great place to stay. All the bars are easy to find easy to get in and out of. The casino floor is the same way. Most places on the strip just make it impossible to navigate and move around. Mgm is one of my top 3 casinos on the strip
Amazing hotel, full of entertainment. Definitely a great experience
Place is very clean and variety of machines are amazing.
Great hotel, cheap gambling crowds are fun and easy to party with. easy to get lost though could never find the buffet. Also the water pressure for the shower in our room was low and door handles were falling off. All in all great hotel
We are absolutely amazed with the customer service at the box office!! "Angel" really was our angel this week. We arrived late and ended up missing KA and this was one of the shows we really wanted to see and this was our chance to see it, Angel verified we did not use our tickets and was miraculously able to get us in on the following night. We were prepared to be disappointed and have to pay again, but she was awesome! KA was absolutely the best show I have seen to date!! It is so worth seeing if you get the chance!!
We met the most cordial casino host here. She made good conversations and represents the MGM very well.
Emeril s was a great seafood restaurant and service was amazing!!!!
Fantastic hotel. We lives pur suite with Jacuzzi. I would recommend even though it is quite far from everything..
The room was extreamly comfortable. Very quiet and the blackout curtains worked well. The toilet paper was more like one ply but they give you 2 rolls. The walk to MGM is through a nice enclosed walkway and it has a security door to keep out non guests.
Genuinely Grand hotel with great ambiance. Old school decor makes it look even better. The casino on the ground floor is great. Their buffet spread is amazing and has cuisines from all over the world. The smoke at the ground floor is toxic though, but you cant help it.
Beautiful hotel and casino will visit again next trip to Las Vegas
Does downtown Las Vegas event center do fourth of July fireworks show ?, and new year eve show?.
If you enjoy eating a variety of foods or have a picky eater then this is the place for you because their buffet is a bit on the pricey side but well worth the money spent. Get there before 930 because they stop letting people in since they close at 10 but laid back & comfortable atmosphere. Your drinks are included which consists of beer, wine or fountain drinks or juice beverages.
So, I may be a little biased since it was my 21St birthday and this was the first time I'd been to Vegas. But the staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel it's self is really nice and so was our room. The casino is HUGE and the signage was pretty good so me my mom and my aunt could find the buffet easily, which btw, was really good as well!
Love the shows they have here, love the buffet, love the casino.
Rooms are getting a little Dated, however the property has some very good ammenities. Easy to move around, easy access to Many food options, including exceptional high end options, right down to convienient fast food.
Not meant to say about the MGM it's just as Grand as ever. It does speak for itself !
Gorgeous! Couldn't afford to stay there but they have something special around every corner.
The Signature at MGM. It has three identical 38-story towers where you have three private pools, all suites are luxurious. and it has famous Casinos and restaurants. Every day is a party ... Address is The Signature at MGM Grand 145 East Harmon Avenue Las Vegas Nevada 89109
Great service all the way around. Love our Stay Well room. Highly recommend booking that room type! Pool is awesome. We were sad the lazy river is only open for weekends but otherwise great!
They are doing such a professional job for top rank boxing unbelievable great job guys
Dirty and run down. Stayed for 15 minutes and bolted out of there.
Stayed at the MGM Grand in August and it was wonderful. Fun atmosphere, great slots, good food. Make sure you have money for the incidental hold ($100/night) The room was nice with a great view.
One of the best hotel in vegas. Super safe for covid19
Nice rooms, good service, friendly staff, elevators bad, very crowded, lots of fees, there gonna get ya comin and goin lol, 4 stars cause its better then motel 6.
I did not expect a dark room without view when I selected an upgraded room with spa bathtub. It felt like a cave, a bit noisy from the helicopters. Hotels near airports don't have to be noisy; I have stayed in some. A bit overpriced. For $42 resort fee self parking should be included or at least heavily discounted. Would be nice to pay a few bucks less for buffet without alcohol.
Rooms aren t super updated or clean feeling. There s a weird smell in the bathroom-musty. I didn t find the bed comfortable. The conference centre is great. Holds lots of people and is well maintained. The selection of shops and restaurants is great and the staff are quite friendly upon check in.
Nice place lots to do. Over priced for what you get but it VEGAS
Great place to stay cery helpful people I would recommend it
Good ambience and right in the strip. Near to McCarran Airport.
The stars are for the hardworking people who keep this place up and running. I don't care for the smoke stench on the main floor or for the heavy perfume they inject into the air to mask this stench or for the water disruptions in my hotel room.
The halls wreak of weed, the thermostat on one side of the suite didn't work properly, the comforters aren't cozy... I think I've outgrown the MGM Grand. This is "the place" for first timers.
