MEYER VACATION RENTAL
So i rented a condo at the wharf thru Meyers Vacation Rental After sitting outside forever because the door code didn't work we finally get in. I walk in and immediately notice that the walls are nasty and scratched up. Carpet is stained the seats and and couch are stained. The deck has mold and broken pieces of stuff laying around. Mold in the shower the list goes on. KEEP THIS IN MIND. I CALLED AND ASKED WHY THIS WAS OK. HE STATED WE RENTED IT ALL YEAR AND NOBODY ELSE COMPLAINED. I SAID OTHERS MAY THINK ITS ACCEPTABLE BUT I DONT LIVE LIKE THIS. THEN PROCEEDED TO YELL AT ME. If he had offered to send someone to clean it I wouldn't be posting this. But he offered nothing but yelling and excuses. I gave him the opportunity to make it right. If any of yall know who runs this place I would love to talk to them

We have used this company the lasting 2 years and they have been fantastic
We were going to Tybee Island for vacation. The hurricane scared us out of going, we were to leave Kentucky Sept 14. We called the 13th and Meyer's Realty helped us find a condo Gulf front within 2 hours. We had 3 specific request and they met all 3, which was not an easy task. We had 2 issues with the condo, we called and reported the issues and less than a half an hour he was here working on the problem. Problems fixed.

Lighthouse 1210 Gulf Shores. Avoid.
1. Sand on our feet.... we haven't been on the beach yet.

3. Trundle bed. Filthy covered in food, hair and who knows what on it, no sheets, blankets or pillow cases supplied. Our daughter had to sleep with us in our bed because it was unusable. Photos
4. Blood stained pillow, sweat soaked pillow. No pillow cases for them anyway. Photos
5. Pull out had no blankets to fit and the ones that were here stained- photo. A lego piece inside so it was never opened by the cleaners to check it.
6. In the master walls greasy with dust stuck to them. Photo
6. Fan inoperable in master.
7. Dishwasher with food and stains on the edge. Photo
8. Outside chairs torn and weather beaten.
$900 for 2 nights 1st night ruined. Photo

Me and my husband eloped and Meyers was so kind to let us have our wedding right on the beach in front of our rental. It was only the 2 of us and Steve the officiate with Dee our photographer. We have had the best week. I know exactly where we will stay from now on.

BED BUGS!!! There was bed bugs at the condo we sta...

BED BUGS!!! There was bed bugs at the condo we stayed at for an entire week! We didn't know about it till we were on our way back home. The condo at Lost Key, Perdido Key, FL was disgusting, moldy showers and shower curtain, nasty carpet, outlets in master bath didn't work. We called to tell them about all these nasty things and the outlets, they put us to a voicemail and never called us back. At check out I showed them the pictures of the nasty condo and they said they would reimburse the cleaning fee. I also told them about bites I started getting toward the end of our visit. I thought they were mosquitos are first. So they had the bug guy check the condo and he confirmed evidence of bed bugs, that's when they called me on our 10 hour drive back to Texas and told me we needed to stop at a laundry mat and put all our things in dyers (8 people). Now I have bugs in our house and have to pay to have it treated along with needing medical attention to an allergic reaction to the bites. They won't give us our money back for our stay at their nasty place, they say it's our fault for not stopping and putting our things in dryers. We didn't bring our things in our house, we left them in the garage, still the bugs made it in the house. Our lives have been turned upside down over this! They shouldn't be allowed to continue to rent out properties.

Payment was so easy and was all online. It felt like a quick online shopping experience, but for renting a house! Came for spring break with my pledge class, and we had a great check-in/check-out AND overall experience. Thank you Meyer!

terrible!!! pictures was not what the room actuall...

terrible!!! pictures was not what the room actually looked like.. nasty walls carpet and tubs, unit didn't work good and the toilet didn't flush. they had ppl coming in and out of the room trying to sell the condo I was not notified before time.. never again.. I give it Zero stars.. Do not stay at the Landing completely out dated and nasty

After talking we Mi she located a place immediately, very pleasant...I needed to called back the next day and spoke with Simon he also was a joy to speak with...we enjoyed our stay and we contact them the next we need assistance with a room. This is going to be a long review. Me and my siste...

This is going to be a long review. Me and my sister planned family vacations together. We are currently staying at the surf watch property. This is how our vacation has went so far.
Day 1: pull into the property to see over flowing trash and an air conditioning repair man. Before even opening the door to the property. I asked the man if there was an issue with the air conditioning he replied there was but there is not now. That was a lie it has stayed 85 to 87 degrees in this property. I called the very first day. They said they were going to send someone. No one showed or called til Monday. They sent someone who took the trash finally Monday. Someone for the ac came Tuesday to inform us there is holes in the duct work in the attic and that s where all the cold air is going. He said he patched it, it did a little better but it s still currently 83 it is Thursday.
The internet has not worked since we got here then Tuesday the bedroom tv quit working. They fixed the tv said they sent someone out while we were not here to fix the internet. That was today Thursday we return home to now neither tv or internet working. We have been on and off the phone with Meyer properties EVERY SINGLE DAY since we arrived and yet nothing except the trash was taken care of.
This property is very misleading and to say we are disappointed is a major understatement. Not to mention the numerous calls and emails we have had to send only to be 2 days from our departure and still having the same problems.

Our family of five adults recently spent two weeks...

Our family of five adults recently spent two weeks at Romar Place 703. Plenty of room for all of us to have our own space and relax in this recently updated condo. There s brand new tile floors throughout and new paint in coastal colors, so relaxing. New living room furniture too. Even on chilly days we just bundled up to use the spacious balcony with patio table that seats six for meals. Master bed has a new comfy mattress and I slept so good letting the sound of the surf lull me to sleep. Meyer provides a nice starter package of paper goods, dish soap, laundry detergent and and bathroom items. They also provide the linens, and while you won t want to pilfer them, there s an abundant supply. The condo has new appliances, including a washer and dryer, and they are top notch. We do a lot of cooking and I especially appreciate high quality pots and pans. Everything you need for meal prep is thoughtfully provided. The elevators are quick and because this complex is smaller, there s never a problem with parking or over crowding. Lovely indoor pool and hot tub, outdoor pool and deck overlooking the gulf and a small workout room. Bring your bicycles, there s a place to secure them. You can ride 24 miles of flat, paved trails right across the street at Gulf State Park. Check out Alligator Alley in Summerdale, and Uncle Sandy s Macaw Bird Park in Pensacola, we think they are hidden gems. Meyer provides great communication, fast and easy check-in and out and key pad door lock so there s no worry about keys. The best recommendation...we ve stayed at Romar Place 703 so many times and for so many years, I can t remember the number!!!

Please think twice before booking from them. I hate giving a bad review because I own a business my self. I stayed at Plantations Dunes 5311. The place was supper dirty. I had to wash all the bed sheets and clean the kitchen on my vacation. Even after all the cleaning I did during the day. Roches appeared at night. It was the worst vacation ever. I called to tell them. All they said they where busy and sorry.
If they would have sent someone to clean instead of just we are busy I would have not given then this bad review because I could have understood. But they didn't try to makeup for it.
Please don't book with them. You will not be on vacation you will spend your day cleaning and getting upset.

We planned our family reunion for 6 months, paid in full like they asked, and upon arrival the house was still dirty from previous renters. 3 story triplex and they send one person to clean 12 bed and bath home? Come on, its 6pm and still not close to ready, remember checkout is at 10am.The disclaimer Meyer put out is a joke, don't get burned by these guys.

We were notified hours before check in that the house we had rented was no longer available. So after a 10 hour drive we have no where to stay during a sold out Spring Break. Apparently there is a water leak and the roof has fallen in. Sure hope they already notified the next renter.

I won t be renting from them ever again and if you have an up coming reservations I would definitely call and check, your rental may not have a roof!

Location of this property seemed to be okay upon arrival. There is only 1 elevator for whole property which was a pain when we had to move to another condo due to bugs in bed. (Turned out not to be bed bugs. Only carpet beetles ; not sure how housekeeping missed that). Meyer was super friendly up until you get your reservation paid in full.
When checking in at lobby, it was a very fast paced unfriendly checkin.
Romar #112 needs a serious makeover. Mold/mildew growing in bathtubs; bed linens were dirty; dirt buildup around edges of rooms.
While i enjoyed being at the beach, i was happy to check out of this property and continue my stay at the Holiday inn Express just down the road.
However, KUDOS to Ms. Donna and Michelle Frost for being so kind and going above and beyond to make me feel appreciated and trying to take care of my needs. Night shift always has the best customer service!!!

Meyer s proved to be a great choice after a bumpy start due to the owner not leaving the property in time for us to check in. They were very responsive and accommodating. The house was great too but the address was incorrect on all the information sent to me. Meyer provides items other rental companies don t. For example VRBO and Air BNB do not provide any shampoo, laundry or dishwashing soap, where Meyer s does. Also trash bags and toilet paper and paper towels were provided. Easy check in as I received the entry code via text and email. Checkout was also easy and handled via text. We would definitely rent through Meyer s again!

1006C is a wonderful comfy condo. Had a girls trip with my 2 daughters and just enjoyed the heck out of the whole 5 days. Condo was great but had a little trouble with the washer...called Meyer and they got someone out there quickly. Condo is furnished well and is roomy and comfortable. Spent a lot of time on the huge balcony talking and people watching. Meyer was great to work with as well. I d come back to this condo if it s available next time!

Was literally kick out of the beach club area and pools because the owners of the property didn t pay their fees. Most embarrassing vacation my family went on. We Will not be renting from Myers again.

We loved the beaches. Gulf Shores definitely gets ...

We loved the beaches. Gulf Shores definitely gets AAA on clean beaches. We hated our condo. When we review on web everything seemed clean and nice. When we arrived it was a nightmare. We stayed at Island Shores. Cabinets had fowl odor. Bed linen to small. Shower liners hanging by a limb. Lots of leeks in ceiling.Fire Inspection on building has been done in over several years. We had 5 families from baseball team join us. They also experienced same problems.

After all that we decide to stop and discuss with an agent at Myers. She basically stated "you only paid 1500.00"!. Why complain? REALLY! We have no intensions of ever using MEYERS again.

We had a wonderful experience with Meyer reality as our vacation agents like always! Our biking was easy, check in was great. We loved the cooler bag left with our washing powders, extra garbage bags, and lots more. We will alway use Meyer with our bookings!

Our condo was very nice except a little dusty and ...

Our condo was very nice except a little dusty and blinds missing and a HUGE mildew issue in the bathroom. After letting someone at Meyer know about this, we were told that they were aware of the housekeeping deficiencies but yet the cleanliness of a unit is clearly not an unrealistic expectation. WRONG!
Our account was even involved in Fraud AFTER paying them our deposit. Bank traced it back to Meyer. I've yet to hear from anyone at Meyer about this.

Now, our questions were answered each time we called and the location on the condo was very awesome!
We were able to stay in the condo until 11am ish after we found our we had a dead battery in the morning right before we were leaving. Thankfully, because it was EXTREMELY hot out.
We LOVE Gulf Shores. We've been at least 5 times in the last 4 years, and I WILL return However, we will NOT be using Meyer again.
They really do great but our experience this time shunned us away.

My husband and I went on the spur of the moment to Gulf Shores/Orange Beach. It was my husband's first time there and I'm happy to say it won't be his last. We arrived around 6 or 7 Sunday, August 5, 2018 & very few realty places were open. Thank goodness for Meyer's. They were fabulous. Our agent took so much time showing us condos that met our criteria. He was patient, informative, professional, & friendly. We stayed at Shoal Water. With no prior reservation, we were happy with our condo rental. The location was perfect. The weather was full of sunshine. We enjoyed having coffee on the balcony each morning & watching the dolphins frolic. One thing that really impressed me about this beach is how clean it is. People respect the slogan "Leave nothing but your footprints." I like that. It was very family friendly. The biking and walking trails are absolutely wonderful! There is something to do for every age... there and in the surrounding areas. Thank you, Meyer's, for helping make this an unforgettable vacation.

Well my sister and I are currently on vacation. We are staying at the surf watch property. We payed pretty good money to stay here. As soon as I pulled in I seen a ac technician they were working on the ac. That was fine not a problem walked in there was insulation all over the floor, the property was not very clean at all. Outside both of our trashcans were already completely full we literally have no where to throw away trash. I contacted Meyer reality as soon as I got here the woman I spoke to said someone would be out that night no one came. Now here it is Monday my self and my sister has called and email only to not get any response back. So here we are very disappointed in our stay so far, oh the WiFi does not work either. We literally just got here yesterday and are very much regretting booking here.

Follow up to this review. The woman I spoke with directly on the phone was very nice. They did send someone out Monday but they were unable to fix air conditioning or the internet. The guy said someone would be back out in a couple of hours. No one showed finally today an ac technician showed up. Internet is still not fixed and now tv in the bed room is not working. I emailed the property management again but have yet to hear back. So far we are on day 3 of our vacation and have had to spend more time trying to get things fixed than we have actually vacationing and relaxing.

I can't say much about Meyer Vacation Rentals them...

I can't say much about Meyer Vacation Rentals themselves. They were friendly when we checked in to collect our keys. We rented Sunswept 801. Unfortunately we walked in to uncleaned unit. Housekeeping hadn't been there yet when we arrived at 6pm. Frustrating after two days of travel totaling up to about 18 hrs with a 6 and 3 yr old. Had to have our luggage wait on porch until cleaning lady was done. Moldy shower curtains, drawers falling off dressers, unable to open and close closet doors with ease. Vents, ceiling fans, light fixtures, CAKED with dust. The unit needed a deep thorough cleaning desperately! The door to the unit looked like it was damaged, only lock was exterior. No interior lock, meaning my 3 year old could open the door and just walk out. Which he did twice! Meaning beach chairs were placed in front of the door to prevent him from doing this further. Our original condo was canceled on us last minute, so we had to scramble to find a new unit that accommodated our needs. We were disappointed with the unit, which then put a HUGE salty taste in our mouths for Gulf Shores in general. This was our first trip, highly unlikely that we will travel here again, and will definitely not use Meyer Vacation Rentals.

We're locals and stay in condos often in the area. We've never stayed in a Meyer maintained property. We got a call letting us know our place was ready around 1. We arrived around 330. They said a QA was coming to inspect. She never came. The floors still had food on them, tables and windows had hand prints on them. We didn't actually call to fuss until one of the kids noticed hair in the silverware drawer. They sent someone out 3 hours later (at dinner time) she took 1 1/2 to clean!
We finally got settled at around 730. My daughter got into bed and there was sand allover her sheets! Thank goodness there was a washer and dryer! The next issue we had was the beds, all 3 of them were OLD! Like from the 90s. One was rock hard the other 2 sank in the center. And the 3rd issue was when I went to fix a drink... The place literally had a set of six cups, forks, spoons etc. There was nothing. I was trying to cook breakfast but there was one pan lol. Finally I was leaving (a day early because we couldn't sleep) checking under beds, dressers etc and found my clothes had fallen into a discusting mess behind the dresser. The place hadn't been cleaned well in a long time! I'm not sure how Meyers can be operating like this! I bet the owners are not aware of the condition of their units! I will not be back! The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because customer service was so nice.

Absolutely not as it seems. The view is the only thing this condo has going for it. Rusty appliances, beds all falling apart underneath, couch smells of BO, and too much to mention. 49 issues reported and slum lord owner doesn t want to fix anything only raise prices. If you want a place to flop and take a shower, this is for you. Pretty expensive flop house.

Meyer rentals is a great company to rent from. We stayed at The Gulf Shores Plantation condos. Great views, pools, and the beach was fantastic. Staff are very friendly, respectful and respond quickly when you have a question or concerns. Will rent from them again.

Check in and check out couldn t be easier! Meyer sends the door code so you can go straight to the condo and you send them a message when you leave. No trips to the office. Bluewater 603 had everything you need in the condo. The decor was up to date and very beachy and calm! It had a large deck overlooking the gulf. Close to restaurants and shopping! We will stay here again. Thoroughly enjoyed our week!

The customer service desk greeted us very cheerfully. The condo is a cozy little place, not too busy. It has everything you need to cook or prepare meals there. The a/c struggled to cool the place to the temp we like but it was still comfortable. The pool was cleaned a couple times while we were there which shows the attention and care Meyer gives their rentals.

Just returned home from Gulf Shores Alabama. Arrived at our condo last Saturday afternoon, June 24th, 2017 and was so excited. We, my sister and I, had never been on a vacation together. I reserved a 2-bedroom condo at Surfside Shores through Meyer Vacation Rentals. Anyway, I noticed a lot of water in the carpet and an awful smell (musty like mold) on the opposite side of the bed I was using. Sunday morning, I called the rental company and they sent someone out with a towel. He got down on the floor and his knee was soaked. He said that he would have to call a cleanup crew to vacuum up the water. I spoke with my husband and he said they need to find the leak vacuuming wasn t going to remedy the water if a leak is there he said. So, I called back, when the next set of guys (two of them) showed up, they started looking. After opening the mechanical room door where the air conditioner is, they found water and what appeared to be black mold. They investigated in the condominium directly above and found a problem there as well. They eventually returned with fans, blowers, dehumidifier and mold killer. Fast forward, I was unable to use the bedroom for the entire week. I did not communicate with the management company any further - until I was ready to discuss compensation for the issue. They offered a whopping 25% reduction and I evidently and unwittingly accepted a settlement just by confirming the last four digits of my credit card. Even after I told the gal I was not happy with that amount. My husband spoke to them. And, too his and my surprise, they had no record of mold. They sent a third guy out, name withheld, who looked at the mechanical room again. I asked him his thoughts and he responded verbally said something along the lines that I m not really supposed to talk about this, but yes, it s mold. In fact, the second group of guys had said the same thing on Sunday now it s Friday.

Granted, there is a black substance on the walls and ceiling which has been growing for a while inside the mechanical room, there was an awful odor and they did put down mold killer so if it s not mold, why put down mold killer. So, does anyone know why they don t want a documented mold event on file? I have my own opinion.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This was absolutely the worst experience we have ever had in vacation rental. We arrived to the house after being swapped because there was a water leak in the one we originally reserved, and it was disgusting. The carpet on the stairs alone was so dirty our feet turned black within minutes. Later that evening, we found bugs in the living room, beds, and bathroom. We were told that it was too late to do anything about it today and that pest control would come the next day! I finally spoke to a manager and they sent us an option for a new house , but we couldn t trade until the next day. That morning we went to the new house to check it and it was also DISGUSTING. Hair in the tubs, bugs on the floors, stains all over the walls. We decided to refund and rent a house from another company. I was told that the refund would be processed and received in 7 to 10 days. On the 10th day I called, only to find out they had never processed the return, and that it would be another 10 days before we would receive our refund!!! They will not give me an explanation as to why. I would NEVER recommend this company and will never use them again for vacation rentals.

This was the first time using Meyer Vacation Rentals. Was very pleased with how easy it was to book, check-in and check-out.
Any questions we had were immediately answered.
Have already booked our unit with them for the next two years.

The condo was a nice place and very clean and quite I really enjoyed staying at the vacation home it was a reasonable price to be so close to the beach I would recommend Meyer to anyone and I would defiantly be using them again to book my next trip back

The condos are nice and convenient to everything y...

The condos are nice and convenient to everything you need great place and great atmosphere the only problem we had was there was only one elevator working the whole time of our stay so took the stairs alot and people other than guest and owners where using the parking lot to access the beach leaving parking at the condo full or no spots available

Everything was great except the unit really needs ...

Everything was great except the unit really needs to update or steam clean the furniture in the living room. The couch is covered in stains as are the pillows (not the cases)in the master bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom showers squeal when they are running which I did make maintenance aware. When I did have an issue with the washing machine the maintenance crew came very quickly and even called later to make sure I got the washer to work.
All in all a good unit but I wasn t about to sit in the couch and the pillows need replacing

Our vacation started 7/7-7/11/2020 in Phoenix 1 room 1085.
It was the worst experience at Meyer rentals I have ever had. The coffee table, ice maker, and the AC were broken on arrival. The AC was not working on day one. Over the course of our stay we had 12 visits from technicians
trying to figure out a water leak that was flooding units below. Everyday of our vacation I spent 1-2 hours with the maintenance technicians trying to figure out where the water came from. On the last two days of my vacation they locked the water off to the washer, no one from customer service ever contacted me. I called customer service asking for 2 days of linens because we couldn't use the washer and they sent two days worth of bed sheets. Customer service told me that water leaks happen, they never offered a reduced price in our booking for the inconveniences our family had experienced on our only beach vacation. No offer to relocate us for all the things we paid for and nothing worked. We didn't even get to go to the beach or pool the last day because we didn't have linens to bath with.

A short 3 day visit for Thanksgiving. Never stayed at Fort Morgan before. We will definitely come back. Navy Cove Harbor condo was exceptionally nice. We loved the location, the views and the grounds. Was concerned, we might not be able to find places to eat, but that was not the case at all. Also enjoyed touring Fort Morgan itself.

After traveling 10 hours to get there with our 15 ...

After traveling 10 hours to get there with our 15 month old grandson we did not want to have to deal with elevators that weren t working. A simple notification on the website that they were broken would have been enough for us to be able to make a decision whether or not to rent the unit. Felt like we were misled. After a few conversations with the representatives at Meyer, a young man told me that he would give me a 10% refund on my stay. I purposefully waited for almost 2 weeks before filling out a survey to see if they kept their word. So far they haven t. It really bothers me when people don t keep their word. I usually don t fill out surveys unless I m happy with my experience but in this case the lack of integrity compels me to do so. I wonder why someone would tell me that and then not do it? Did they think I would just blow it off?

The only problem I had was having to wash the grease of of the foreman grill,that was from past resident's, batteries are a problem,because it seems there is alot of extra remotestremotes don't go to anything.didnt find the remote for the master bedroom till day 4. Plenty of dishes and utensils to cook whatever you wanted,the view,is spectacular,plenty of towels,etc..this is my second time in this home,I guess it's a bit petty ,but simple things can easily make it worth the money..small tears in wall paper,easy fix..we enjoyed it,and in time we will come back. please don't offer a heated pool ,when once you get there ,there is notice that you don't have an option to turn on the heat for it,it's not that much to give the amenities, advertised...you asked for my opinion,those are my complaints as to maybe help the next time we come enjoy this beautiful home! We stay at The Breeze in Gulf Shores for a week beginning June 20. We were contacted about an hour to our check in time and advised that the cleaning crew was running behind. We waited an additional hour and a half to go to our unit. When we got there the unit had still not been cleaned. I called to complain and the gentleman who answered the call was not understanding and somewhat controversial. The cleaning crew arrived only to chain the bed linens and brings in bath towels. They did not disinfect the bathrooms or clean the counters in the kitchen. The living room furniture is dated and worn out as is the patio chairs. This was our first time going through Meyers and feel it will be our last. They were not sympathetic to our needs nor were they accommodating.

My family and I recently stayed at Romar Place at Orange Beach and we had the absolute best time. The only hard part about renting was deciding which unit to pick, since there was such a large selection to choose from. It was super easy to book and because the office is open 24 hours, there was no rush to make it there by any certain time to pick up our keys,which was really nice. The place had an amazing view and was spacious, clean, tastefully furnished and kitchen well set up with cooking supplies. I wanted to stay permanently it was such paradise! I will definitely use Meyers for any future visits to the Gulf Coast.

Just checked in to sea oats d204. First off the a/c isn't working! Set on 70 and is 79 in the room. I called and they said they will bring us some fans because they can't guarantee when a/c will be fixed. Second the refrigerator is not cooling. My granddaughter found small fish hook in the bedroom floor luckily before she stepped on it! This is by far the worst vacation experience ever! Do not recommend Meyer Vacation Rentals! !

My family had a wonderful vacation at Driftwood Towers in Gulf Shores! We received an email the day of our arrival that had the code to get into the condo, so we didn't even have to go by the realty to pick up a key. We will definitely use Meyer Realty again. The condo was excellent and the entire process from reservation to check out was easy and smooth!

The rental experience was excellent and the location of the condo was perfect. However, the condo itself was in need of some attention. Shower rod about to fall, shower curtain torn and dirty, fan pull broken, light bulbs out, no dust pan and can opener was broken. No hand towels for bathroom and towels were very thin and cheap. Got stuck on balcony as the sliding door desperately needs WD-40.

Our family stayed in San Carlos PH3 at the end of May. We had the absolute best experience! The place was super clean, decorated beautifully, and the view is breathtaking being 20 floors up. The elevators are super fast which was a huge plus, beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed the pool. We also loved how close the condo was to everything. We highly recommend this condo and look forward to staying here in the future!

Security guard doubles as check-in desk operator on the property - unfair to him and indicative of this operation's neglectful service. Broken elevators. Cleaning service not yet arrived at check in. The unit was furnished beautifully. The kitchen was well stocked. There was enough room for our entire family to relax comfortably. The beds were excellent. I think everyone slept well. The balcony was well furnished and had an amazing view. We all enjoyed our stay and would rent this unit again.

My friends and I stayed at the Herons Nest in Gulf Shores and had the best time. The location was perfect! We had our own waterfront property and the beach was only a 5 min walk away. We were very happy with our stay and are planning on returning next summer!

We had a great vacation. The Staff we spoke to by phone was nice and helpful. However, there was only one day where there was an on-site staff member in the lobby. The parking lot filled quickly and no one was there to enforce parking spots. Overflow parking was located across the street. The front door was difficult to open using the key. Keyless entry would have been nice. The vent in hallway bath was loud. In the master bedroom, the towel rack in master bath was broken. The Master bedroom door didn t shut/latch well. The condo was clean and accommodations were overall nice. We would definitely stay in this condo again. These are just a few thoughts about our stay.

The guys fished off the beach and caught a 35lb red fish some sharks at the point and a big drum and other stuff We did have some issues with mosquitoes and ants but other than that we had a wonderful time thanks so much for letting our family come down to visit your beautiful beach

We rented condos at the Lost Key resort from Meyer for two years
in a row. They are a first class operation so you know that your rental
property will be in a first class condition. Thier rates are competitive,
and their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. We had a wonderful
vacation both years and highly recommend Meyer as a rental agency.

The condo at Turquoise Place was nice but poorly m...

The condo at Turquoise Place was nice but poorly maintained. Broken dirty ice maker, every bedroom had light bulbs out, the patio was flithy, it needed to be cleaned. We were told check in would be later due to extra covid cleaning! What a joke. Bedside tables were very dusty, kitchen cook top was greasy and dirty, dust and sand under the beds. We stayed in building D 908. We attempted to call Meyer company several times but no answer.....ever. My husband ended up sending them an email. They still have not responded to why our condo was not cleaned or maintained.

We have used Meyer to stay in Gulf Shores for the past 4 years. It's always been an amazing experience. Ocean House II condo is our favorite, most recently we stayed in 2806 and it was awesome. Our kids LOVE the pool and we're literally on the beach. Balcony views are everything! Clint has been one of the security guards there every year, and he is awesome. He remembers our names and keeps everyone else in check haha. We highly recommend using Meyer Vacation Rentals for your next beach trip!

We stayed in the A frame the weekend of shrimp Fest and the week following. We have stayed with Meyer Rentals for at least 5 years now and this is the 1st year we leave dissatisfied with the condition and cleanliness of the house! Dirty, food coated dishes, broken down, uncomfortable furniture! Roaches in the cabinets and beds harder than the floor. I have MS and also found that there was no easy path to the beach even though it was right in front of us. My family pay good money to come down and it seems the ball was dropped this year. Next year we will be back but maybe not with Meyer! The Hull's, Murff's and Williams

The only reason I am giving it a one is because zero is not an option. We stayed in Island Royal. I had to clean the condo on arrival. One bathroom unit was not usable. Toliet will not flush. Shower does not drain. Meyer office staff can care less. Unit smelled like old smoke. They say they checked the room before we checked in. Toothpaste spit on the sinks. Stains on the pillows. Dust caked on the carpets. Horrible. Never will use Meyer again.

Edited: the maintenance man was so nice. The only one who apologized for the inconvenience.
