We came down with another couple for the shrimp festival & stayed at island winds east #510. We came in 2 vehicles. Go by meyer to get key & passes...we got 2 passes & 2 keys....got to the place & was told we could only use 1 pass! Lady at island winds office very rude! Called meyer they said it was on Web ..but they gave us 2 passes ?? Their fix was to park the other vehicle at their office 10/15 miles away! So helpful...NOT!

My wife and I had our first opportunity to visit the gulf shores area for three weeks between February and March 2013. We stayed at Sunrise Village which is located right on the beach. The accommodations were great you just walk out your door and your on the beach. There are great walking trails and restaurants close by. The two bedroom condo was very clean and comfortable. The staff at Meyer were very friendly and helpful and check-in and check-out was very easy and quick. This was a very relaxing vacation and we are planning on a return trip.

Let us know less than a month beforehand that our rental over the July 4th week would not be available and offered us several options with rooms comparable to a run down abortion clinic. I don't go on vacation to sit in their leftover crap condos because they will not honor the nice condo we had planned on staying in and paid for. Now we are forced to find another place to stay in less than 30 days, thank you Meyer vacation rentals for ruining our vacation plans. Hope you enjoy peddling second rate rooms because your backup selections are pathetic.

After arriving to our condo we realized quickly that our unit had not been cleaned. There was 1/4 inch think of dust built up on the air vent. After willingly cleaning that off we realized there was not even an air vent In the Air unit. After picking the wall trim off the floor and sticking it back to the wall, we noticed black mold all over the side of the refrigerator. This was just the beginning. The lamp shades and fan blades were also coated in dust. The bed sheets smelled of mildew. Needless to say my wife cleaned the entire condo to try and get the mental piece you search for while coming to the beach. With Covid-19 very much alive, this was by far the most uncomfortable condo we have ever been in. The customer service was horrible and had excuses rather than a solution

My sister and I used Meyers for the first time this Summer. We had used another company in the past. I must say...we were very impressed with Meyers. The prices were much better than others we have used. The check in office was wonderful... beautiful building, super clean and the staff was super friendly. The entire check in process was quick and effortless, the staff were pleasant, helpful and very eager to help in any way possible. I must say, I can't wait to use their facilities again next year. I promise you won't be disappointed! We stayed at Summerchase Properties - close to the toll bridge, Winn Dixie, beignets, yogurt...everything you need a couple blocks away. The beach was super clean and very private - vacant lots on either side of condo - very nice, quiet and private. Another plus, security guard on grounds patrolling throughout the day!!!

Just got here to Grand Caribbean #304 at 5:00. Our reservation starts today 7/20/2019 and goes thru next Sunday 7/28/2019. We were told when we picked up the Keyes that the housekeeping people may still be cleaning it when we got here. They haven t even been here yet. Toilet seat is broken, feces splattered on inside of toilet bowl, dirty dishes in the sink, mud/dirt everywhere in the floor, couch cushions liquid stained, cheese from pizza in the floor, 1 cushion missing from dining chair. We called Meyer and they told us to hang out at the beach, pool, or go to dinner. We have dinner reservations at 7:00 and we ve been traveling all day and need to shower before we go eat. We told Meyer this at 5:00 and they said they d make it a priority. It s 6:00 and housekeeping isn t here yet. We'll miss our dinner reservation because as filthy as this unit is it should take at least 2 hrs to clean and repair properly. Meyer needs to to the right thing and move us to another unit they manage that s available and CLEAN!! I gave 2 stars because the building and pool are nice.

We come to Gulf Shores for a week every July 4th. Our family has really grown. We bring our kids and grandkids. It s tradition for us!

I have used Meyers for several years. This last stay will be my last with this property manager. I was first moved from the original condo I was to be renting.& and charged an additional $92.00. Then when I arrive, there is no internet, no pool, no air conditioning ,and the cook stove would not even work. They refunded a total of $156.00 for a condo that cost us close to $800.00 for a couple of nights stay.
I was stopped by a construction worker and he thought I was the owner and he proceeded to tell me that I was not supposed to run the ac because there were wires exposed in the condo's above me. I would never recommend them or use them again! No only was my stay miserable, I feel they put me and my family in danger. No to mention two big machines they had running in the condo to take the humidity out of the building.

Was literally kick out of the beach club area and pools because the owners of the property didn t pay their fees. Most embarrassing vacation my family went on. We Will not be renting from Myers again.

I would like to say that Myer Rentals contacted me to follow up on my visit. They were courteous and gave me a discount. They also ensured me the furniture would be replaced. I appreciate the follow up and Tammy was great to deal with! I would use Meyer again as they handled the complaint promptly and to my satisfaction. Thank you!!!

Couch, chair, bed and head board ALL need replaced. It looked and felt like the furniture was bought at a garage sale. Chair is actually broken and not safe to sit in. Bed was HORRIBLE!!!!!

The condo needs overhauled as the wall corners are all torn up, chain on door is broken, holder for hair dryer but no hair dryer, towel bar was placed on wall and then moved, but can still see first placement marks. The bunk bed doors would not stay on track, needs replaced as well as the shade that is torn in bedroom.

For the amount of money we paid, we should have felt like we were staying in a nice condo, not a dorm room.

Could not put ANYTHING in the closet as it was full of linens that were not needed. Pantry and outside storage was also locked so absolutely no storage available.

There were bottle caps in the garbage disposal and no teaspoons and a few forks. Dishes were chipped and cracked.

Called Meyer asking for a Manager and was told they would call me back. No call for two days now.

View was great. Beach was great. Appliances worked. Kids enjoyed the bunk beds. The check in process at Myer went smoothly and customer care was good to deal with.

Response time to maintenance issues is inadequate and your rental agreement leaves you with no defense against it. So if you rent a two bathroom condo and only one of them works then surprise, you get a one bathroom condo. No thanks.

Condo is run down and is in need of updating . Neither of the 3 televisions worked. The handle on the sliding door leading to the balcony was broken, and it took 24 hrs to get someone to fix it. I would not recommend Meyers Vacation Rentals. The staff members were very rude when we called the office with any problems.

Check-in and out was super easy. The property was exactly as described. We received a really nice insulated welcome bag filled with essentials for our stay as well as a cute toiletry set in each bathroom. We will definitely be using Meyer Vacation Rentals again!

It s a quiet and relaxing place, in the middle of my favorite place, perdido key . food and beaches close by and it s gated so no need to worry about anything. Johnson beach right up the road you can swim in the gulf or if you have small kids you can go on the bay side and not worry about waves.

If you are looking for a condo that is clean and well taken care of then Crystal Shores 406 is it. I have alaways arrived to a clean , well maintained and well furnished condo any time I stayed at Crystal Shores. I have stayed at other Meyer Vacation Rentals and I have always had a flawless experience you can't go wrong.

The condo was perfect from start to finish! Right on the beach with an amazing view of the ocean. Peaceful and quiet! Would definitely recommend and will be staying here again! If I had to complain about anything it would be the parking is a little tight especially if you are in a bigger vehicle. Overall an great place to stay!!

The staff was great. We needed an ambulance the second night we were here and security officer Mike was very helpful and concerned. He kept checking on our family member through out the week and asking of we needed anything. Maintenance had to change commode seat and replace bulbs. He was very courteous and apologized for any inconvenience.

Orange Beach Alabama. Pelican Point #204. Dryer was broken on Monday. Informed on Tuesday that it would be repaired on Saturday (our departure day). They offered a $100 refund and suggested we use a laundry mat. Pelicans Pointe Orange Beach room 204. Update. I was hoping a quick resolution would be coming. It's not. So I'll point out the peeling paint, awful beds, lack of towels (they did bring more), no blankets for fold out couch. They've been fairly quick to fix the small things. But without a working dryer we might as well be at Days Inn. They offered a $100 voucher for another rental within two years. That's laughable.

Upon arrival our stove/oven didn't have power. There was a note from the unit owner saying a repairman would be by several days later (why was it rented to us without being told?). We called Meyer and they sent a maintenance guy out. Turned out to be the breaker. We used the stove with no problem, but the oven still didnt work. We made another call for maintenance, but nobody showed. We were unable to use the oven our entire stay. We were told we would recieve a 10% refund on the cost of our stay. After phone calls and emails we still have nor revieved that.

At time of reservation we paid for the cancel for any reason trip insurance. We canceled due to work schedule . We placed the claim as instructed by Myers on 3/20/20 ,on 4/13/20 we were told by the insurance company that Myers had not sent proof of the policy being purchased . On 4/14/20 we were told that the policy only covers the following with proof by employer.

This policy was miss-represented on the website . Cancel for any reason does not mean cancel for any reason . I have a hard time understanding this .
I would definitely not recommend Myers Vacation Rental .

Worst vacation experience we have ever had through...

Worst vacation experience we have ever had through Meyer Realty. October 2017. Showed up to the house we rented on the beach and had major problems immediately. The AC was not working, the cable was out and a slew of other problems. Place must of not been vacuumed since there were dirty rugs and still sand on the floors from the prior tenant. Called to complain and they just kept telling us they were putting in the work order for each problem. Finally, we went to complain in person after they could not solve the problems and they treated us like we were trash. They were smart asses about our complaints. Talked down to us and acted like these were normal problems you have when you rent a house. I can go on and on, but just don t waste your time with these clowns. All they care about is the bottom line in my opinion. Good luck if you do go through them.

You didn t offer to move us until the end of the 2nd day and only after we had to show up on your doorstep to get your attention. Calls didn t work anymore. During that 2 day time, we were always waiting on one of your employees to show up to make a fix and no one that showed up could fix them. They would just send someone else! We should of been able to enjoy the beach during this time. I think a premium house on the beach deserves better attention. Too little too late.

You say you have award winning service ! Who d you have to pay to give you that award? It sure as heck isn t from all your 1 star reviews! Your reviews are awful! What a joke. Gulf Shores Better Business Bureau should run you out of town bc your hurting their entire cities reputation in my opinion!

The property where we stayed, "seaside" was in good condition and was very clean. The amenities were great and the view was exactly as advertised. We had no issues other than an early departure related to a hurricane but that was no problem. Convenient registration, check-in, and check out. We will be using this company again.

Tropic Isle is well maintained due to the fact that the owners take part in its upkeep. They were painting, weeding, cleaning, etc. while we were there. This is a perfect size property because the elevator is never busy, short boardwalk to beach and easily accessible parking. It's location is in the middle of Gulf Shores strip and close to everything. You can walk to restaurants and stores. I docked it one star because apparently smoking is allowed and I couldn't use my balcony because of that. Also unit 803 has not remodeled and the bathroom tub is disgusting and the ceramic floors are beat up. Carpet could use replacing.

Livingroom sofa and chairs were in poor condition. Dirt and stains and smelly. Past due for a upgrade. Mattresses in the 3rd bedroom is also due for a replacement. And the unit could also use a paint job throughout.

This is my third condo rental. This one is by far the worst. The redeeming qualities is

We rented a beach house for a weekend in February. The beach house was exceptionally nice and comfy. It was also conveniently located to where we needed to be. It also had the perfect set up for my family. It had a room located on the bottom floor for my 88 year old mother to stay. Meyer Vacation Rentals answered all my questions and were very helpful and professional.

Recently booked a condo rental from Meyer Vacation Rentals for Gulf Shores Al and I have to say it was the best experience, easy to book and talked with a real person that was most helpful. They stayed in touch via email and confirmed rental and sent instructions and then stayed in touch through the whole process. I highly recommend them if you are considering booking a vacation. Will definitely use them and tell everyone I know about their superior service!!

Mold was growing on air conditioner vents in living room (most of family became sick with allergies from mold), property advertised as sleeping 6, but sleeper sofa was broken. Mold growing on shower curtains. Sand throughout property like it had not been swept. Bed lines had sand in sheets. Air conditioner did not blow in master, so when the door was closed it became extremely hot. First morning after arrival, went to sit on patio with my infant and the chair broke and we fell to the ground. Find another property this was is not up to standards for Meyer and needs re-evaluated as a rental.

We stayed at the whaler 2c its was in a good location .But the beds and pillows where gross and cover where wore out . But , thankfully we had our own when we arrived we found a couple spots of blood on the double beds and in the bath room floor and shower it had a broken shower door glass on the floor .and we couldnt uses that shower because the other door was hanging barely. When we called the office they did seems very nice and brought more blankets and picked up the dirty ones but . We still was only able to use one bathroom and the beds need replacing . The rest of the room was clean people at the office was very polite but didn't offer any discounts for the stay or anything off future visit we have used them in the past we will see about tge future.
