We are staying at Royal Palms 407 and we love the unit. But this place is filthy. The kitchen stinks. There is an old bandaid on the bathroom floor and long blonde hair everywhere. I pulled out a glass and it was dirty. I loved being able to check in without stopping by the office but I had to go back to them to get parking passes. They delivered finally... After a call and a text... What happened??? I've been using you for 10 years you used to be awesome.

Folks, Meyer makes it easy and stress-free, leaving your only worry how much sunblock to pile on! Seriously, I've been coming to Gulf Shores since I was 5 (a bit older now), staying in nearly all the condos that have sprung up "left of 59" over the years, and those serviced by Meyer have been consistently superior, to wit: you won't have to fret over linens (altho do bring beach towels), kitchen gear, TV, TP (tee hee), or internet, the latter more than robust enough for Netflix even in peak July. In a nutshell, use Meyer and enjoy a superb beach time in my beloved Gulf Shores.

We booked for a week. Condo gorgeous. Hurricane Sally hit. No power or water. Power out in almost all of county. Took 3 hours just to get to interstate and head home. I sent email when i got home. I knew it could be a while before i heard from them. 6 days later got answer. They are fair. Couldn't ask for more. Will definitely do business with them in the future. Thank you!
House was just what we were looking for at what we felt was a good value. Everything we needed and setup well. Maintenance of the house was a little lacking, some condescension mold spots around the ac vents and one shower did not drain well, also deck could use some TLC as some nails were popping up. Overall a good experience and would book through this company again.
From booking to leaving it was truly a wonderful experience, i looked at every picture of "our" unit and logged in every day to Sea n Suds beach webcam, i drove all around Gulf Shores on Google Earth, so by the time we pulled in on Feb 1st it was like coming home, and when we got to the condo it felt like home, bright and cheerful, clean and comfortable with a million dollar view. We booked 3 bus trips through Meyer and they were amazing as well, i was waiting online for the books to open so i could reserve seats on buses( first come first served) we also looked at homes for sale and for vacation rentals, wonderful selection, we will be back.
My family and I went to Gulf Shores for spring break March 2018. We stayed at Crystal Towers in room 603. The property was everything that I expected and then some. It was very nice and clean, not to mention beautifully decorated. It was only a few steps away from the beach and within minutes of all the attractions. The property looked just like it did in the pictures on the website which you don't always get. The view from our room was breathtaking. The amenities were top notch. The staff and onsite security was very friendly, they often engaged us in conversation, and were always eager to help. They made me and my family feel welcome and safe. My family will definitely book again with Meyer when we return to Gulf Shores in the very near future.
Renter beware, DO NOT rent from this company. They just cancelled our rental unit 4 days before arrival. They blame a contractor error, but being a small business owner, you never offer a service you can't fulfill. Now we have no place to go and I still have to pay an employee for filling in at my business. When you are the management company over a rental unit it is YOUR responsibility to make sure the rental is ready before ever taking a dime from the customer. Again, if you deal with this company after reading this review and you have a bad experience, it is your own fault because you were warned.
We are currently staying at Sea Oats. Sunday night we started the dishwasher and later heard water spilling onto the floor from nmbith sides of the kitchen sink. We grabbed all towels and cleaned up the mess and called Meyer to report it. Their rep came out with extra towels for us that night and let us know a plumber would be out to look at it the next day. We understand things happen and expected they would follow through. Its tuesday night and we still cannot use the kitchen sink. We've seen two techs that informed us we needed a plumber. Not sure why they were even here. They said a plumber would come sunday night. It's Tuesday night. We bought paper plates, plastic cups and utensils but have to wash all other dishes in the bathroom sink. We have two toddlers and this has just been so frusterating. We still dont know when the plumber will be here. We were told by Meyer that its not their responsibility. Its the "Associations". Ive asked for a manager to call but I have yet to hear from one. One of the reps gave us a voucher for dinner at the "hang out". We are here for a week and the first few days has been dealing with this ongoing problem.
I use Meyer Vacation Rental for every vacation. They not just very professional but also very caring to make sure you have a great vacation. I am very impressed with their services. With them now for 6 years and will not go to another. We always go to Grand Beach and if there is a problem, you make a call and they are there in no time to fix whatever the problem is. Their rates are great as well. Always have something special going on , meaning discount for their customers. Thank you Meyer Vacation rental.
Unacceptable! Stay far away from seaside beach and racquet club in orange beach, especially number 4207. My family went down for the week for my sons baseball tournament. A 3 bedroom condo for the week was just shy of 3000 dollars. When we got into the room, it was obvious that it was not cleaned very well. A text from meyer stated that "Our team has not yet completed the quality assurance check on Seaside Beach & Racquet 4207, but the housekeeper has prepared the property and that a member of their quality team would stop by to perform a quality assurance check" This was never done. The floors were dirty. In the kitchen there was a reddish stain on the floor beside the refrigerator. The seats in the living room, which were very uncomfortable and rough, had popcorn and other food crumbs under the cushions. In the master bathroom there was hair on the floor, and a used white washcloth hanging on the door. The bed linens just did not feel or look clean. We bought sheets with our own money to go over top of the ones already on. The 2nd bathroom door kept getting stuck, my daughter almost got trapped in multiple times. The first few nights, my husband and I felt itchy, but attributed it to the sand. On the next to last day, we found bedbugs in our bed. We were very upset. When I called Meyer to notify them of this and the other issues we had the representative from Meyer gave the excuse that simply their cleaning services were very busy and they just weren't able to do a thorough job or check since this is their busy season. I understand that summer is a busy time, bit that is NO EXCUSE for your cleaning services to cut corners, or simply just not do their job. It should not be the customers job to have to buy jew sheets because the others were just so gross . The customer should not have to be the one to do bed checks for bedbugs. We had to pay out of our pocket for a hotel for our last night, because there was no way I was staying on that condo another night. Not to mention the hundreds of dollars of food we had to just throw away since we had to go to a hotel. NOT HAPPY. So now the money and time I have had to spend in disinfecting and washing everything we came with just so that we would not bring these bedbugs home with us has been one of the biggest inconveniences I have ever had from any vacation. Very very unsatisfied with meyer and seaside beach and racquet club. You better believe we will NOT be back!!! So for whoever rents number 4207, heads up- enjoy the bedbugs and time and money lost on your vacation
IF YOU ARE RENTING THROUGH MEYER VACATION RENTALS, CANCEL IMMEDIATELY. As another person said, I would give 0 stars if I could. We rented condo 1001 from the Lighthouse condominiums through Meyer vacation rentals. Upon arrival, our condo had not been cleaned at all-- beds unmade with dirty linens, used towels on the bathroom floor, and dust/sand everywhere-- SINCE THE HURRICANE LAST FALL. The water for 2 of our 3 toilets was turned off, and our wet bar sink was not only disconnected but missing the entire faucet. It took 3 days for a plumber to come fix the wet bar sink after Meyer promised one either that very day or the next. On our third day here, construction began at 8 am in the condo below us and didn't stop until 4 pm. It was so loud we couldn't make conversation and it woke the entire family up 3 days in a row. We ended up leaving an entire day early because of this, and Meyer's excuse was that their website mentioned construction. They were unapologetic and unwilling to offer a well-deserved discount on a VERY expensive condo. Some intermittent noise is fine with a notice, but not constant, obscenely loud jackhammering from 8 am to 4 pm for three entire days. We frequent Gulf Shores beach, so needless to say we will NEVER rent from Meyers again.
Victoria Follies was an unpleasant experience. The house was not ready for guests. The tiles were cracked, the carpets were stained and filthy. We had to unload the dishwasher upon arrival. The ice makers were not turned on upon our arrival and never worked properly. The linens were harsh nd cheap. I had been assured before making our reservation that we would have internet available. We never got internet service and it wasn't until the last day Meyer offered a hot box. We had no tv service for four days as the service had been shut off. Luckily the beach is beautiful but there is a loud high tone emitted every thirty seconds or so from the offshore rigs. These last several hours every day. We had several maintenance issues, I.e. no lights in entry stairwells or outside so we spent our vacation dealing with maintenance ans service persons entering the property.
Response time to maintenance issues is inadequate and your rental agreement leaves you with no defense against it. So if you rent a two bathroom condo and only one of them works then surprise, you get a one bathroom condo. No thanks.
We love Ft Morgan/Gulf Shores. It s our favorite beach vacation spot. We have used Meyer Real Estate for every one of our vacations. They make everything with renting so easy and the the properties we have stayed at have always been so clean and just what our family needs. And you can count on the best fresh seafood.
A year ago I proposed to my wife at this property where we stayed. We decided to rent the same property and get married in the same spot I proposed. Well... it wasn't all fairy tales this trip. It started with receiving a text saying we could check in early. So my party gets there and the code doesn't work. We call them and they say they are going to send a locksmith over and it will only be about 20 to 30 minutes. Over 2 hours later no one has shown up. We call back and they say it will be just a few more minutes. I get later get a phone call and it's the locksmith. Apparently Meyer just gave us the wrong code. Finally, way after our check in time we get in the house. When we enter the house we started doing a tour and find that they had schedule construction the same time we were going to be there. There is metal shards in the pool. Boards on the doors. The deck outside the room was missing. Insulation laying all around the property. So wife calls them. She was stern but polite. I mean we did schedule this a year in advance. So why are they there? The next day they start fixing the house this goes on all day and up until bed time. They get the deck built and the next day finish cleaning the rest outside. While my wife was talking to Meyer she was trying to explain all this construction is here and we have family coming in. Keep in mind my Sister rented the other side of the property and she had to go through the same stuff as we did. Except in her case, while she was sleeping the construction crew just barged into her room without knocking. Let's just say they got a show. So... after 3 days of inconvenience, Meyer did not offer any kind of retribution except to say my wife needed to calm down and get a drink. That set her off. Lol.. But I would not suggest dealing with these people. They are a take your money and run company.
It would have been an amazing experience without the current world crisis. I'm glad I got to experience at least a small amount of time in this beautiful area.
We enjoyed our stay at Orange Beach. Meyer had the best valve with awesome customer service. Our room was clean and had all the amenities we needed to make our vacation truly memorable. Thanks
If I could give a 0 I would! Do NOT list properties if they re not ready. Owner..renter don t care who! We have planned our vacation for OVER a year now to be told our property won t be ready in time and THEY had to cancel 12 days before we are supposed to leave. Times have been tough for us all this past year, but to ruin a well deserved vacation for a hard working family is disgraceful. Will NEVER EVER EVER book with this company again and will be letting everyone we know as well not to.
The house itself was great, although it could have used a more thorough cleaning. There was some rubbish lying around and the floor needed to be vacuumed. However about two days into our vacation someone began constructing a new house immediately next to us, making all kinds of noises throughout the week and leaving unsightly equipment and materials out in the open.
Well my sister and I are currently on vacation. We are staying at the surf watch property. We payed pretty good money to stay here. As soon as I pulled in I seen a ac technician they were working on the ac. That was fine not a problem walked in there was insulation all over the floor, the property was not very clean at all. Outside both of our trashcans were already completely full we literally have no where to throw away trash. I contacted Meyer reality as soon as I got here the woman I spoke to said someone would be out that night no one came. Now here it is Monday my self and my sister has called and email only to not get any response back. So here we are very disappointed in our stay so far, oh the WiFi does not work either. We literally just got here yesterday and are very much regretting booking here.
Follow up to this review. The woman I spoke with directly on the phone was very nice. They did send someone out Monday but they were unable to fix air conditioning or the internet. The guy said someone would be back out in a couple of hours. No one showed finally today an ac technician showed up. Internet is still not fixed and now tv in the bed room is not working. I emailed the property management again but have yet to hear back. So far we are on day 3 of our vacation and have had to spend more time trying to get things fixed than we have actually vacationing and relaxing.
Wonderful vacation as always. Meyer Realty made checking in and out a breeze. Our condo was beautiful and quiet. First time staying at Windmere in Perdido Key. We will definitely be back!
Horrible rental company! We rented 1403 Lighthouse from them and it was filthy! Mold in showers and tub, dust an inch thick on everything including the walls, dirty sheets and bedding, BUGS everywhere, hair and dirt all in sink and bathroom vanity, cabinets were dirty, toe nail clippings all over the floor in living room my toddler found and brought to me, and dirty furniture. Called to report and took them all day to get back with us, so we went down to the office after four no call back calls. After reporting the mess they rudely told us we could not switch condos or get a refund because the needed to try and fix the situation. They came out to SPOT clean. Cleaning dept. said it needed a deep clean? You don't deep clean every time? Last time I checked sweeping, dusting and bathroom cleaning isn't deep cleaning!!!! So apparently it's okay for a 18 month old to take a bath in pink mold. Even had to have pest control come out as well. Never will I rent from them or let any of my friends or family do so!!!! We put up with their excuses and uncaring attitude for two days and one night, came home four days early.
Overall great experience...there are some things that were a inconvenience like no elevators or pulley system and the cleaners not getting done cleaning the room till around 8 that night when it was supposed to be done at 4, but overall for the price,last minute booking, and quality of the room i m satisfied! they also had a number to contact them if you had any questions which i think that s great as well!
Perfect condo with a beautiful view! The owner definitely knows how to vacation! Kitchen fully stocked with all the needed dishes. Had everything we were looking for. Very detailed, had Tupperware we used throughout our stay. Even had scissors and tape available in the drawer so I could wrap a birthday present! The only negative would be the Wi-Fi was not great. Will definitely be back!!

I stayed with my two daughters in Beach Club 1109C from Sunday, June 14th to Thursday, June 18th. This was to celebrate my older daughter's graduation from high school after all the disappointments surrounding COVID-19. Unfortunately, this condo added to the disappointment. This review was originally written as an email to give Meyer Vacation Rentals the opportunity to make things right, since we have used Meyer in the past and were completely satisfied. They sent a brief apology email and did not offer any kind of compensation for our poor experience.
After driving 8 hours, we had to stand in the heat with all our luggage for over 45 minutes because the door code wouldn't work.
Sometime during the first night, we realized the air conditioning didn't work. The next morning, I tried to call and report this but my cell phone didn't work. I found two cordless phones in the unit and plugged them in, waiting an hour for them to charge. But after charging (and dialing 8 for an outside line, as instructed), the phones did not work. We decided to change our evening plans and drive back in to Gulf Shores to eat dinner so that I could go inside the Meyer check-in building and let someone know. The lady put in a service ticket and said they would dispatch someone right away, so we went straight back to the condo to wait on the repair men. They arrived at 9:30 pm but didn't have the part, so we spent another night in the humidity and heat. Then the next morning we had to wait on them to come back and repair the air conditioning before we could go to the beach.
The second big issue was the Wifi. We had no Wifi the entire time we were there. I understand that Meyer does not manage the Wifi, but the runaround on this was incredibly time-wasting. To start with, I knew I couldn't call the provided 1-800 number from my room, because I had no phone. So first I tried rebooting and checking the modem and router myself. When I was sure they were both working properly, I went to the main lobby building and asked to use their phone. After some time on hold, the lady wanted me to troubleshoot the Wifi. I told her I wasn't in the condo. So she said someone would be out within 24 hours. She even told me that they may leave equipment outside my door and call me to walk me through the replacement! Two days later, I got an automated call that someone was on their way to repair the Wifi. However, we were in Gulf Shores. So I have no idea what happened there, but when we returned, the Wifi was still down. And although someone at Meyer told me that it was down for many in Fort Meyer, I checked with several condo neighbors and they all had access.
The final big issue was the washing machine. The night before we were to leave, I started a load of laundry. When the cycle stopped, the lid remained locked. No matter what I tried, I couldn't get it to open. So we stayed up until almost midnight Googling how to get the lid open. We finally used the magnet on one of our Yeti tumbler lids to trigger the magnetic lock. I realize we could have walked down to the main lobby, used the phone, and called Meyer again, but at this point I was so exasperated that I just wanted it to be over.
Several other smaller problems: All the light bulbs were burned out in the bedroom. The toilet isn't secured to the floor and moves when you sit down; you can hear the toilet grinding against the tile. There is something, probably glass, in the garbage disposal. And the outlet beside the bed has a short in it, so if you plug your cell phone there and go to sleep, your phone will not be charged in the morning.
I would conservatively estimate that I spent a total of 8 hours of my vacation dealing with condo problems. I asked Meyer to make this right. It was a huge disappointment, especially to my daughter. I know Meyer has a better reputation than what we experienced this week, but they did nothing to compensate. We will not book from them again.
With myself being an essential worker and my wife recovering from back issues we were looking forward to some relaxing and quiet time. I hope this review will prompt Everyone to call and confirm no construction work is being done at the location of their vacation rental. We were not notified of the apparent construction work that had apparently been going on for some time. The entire property was an eye sore from the time we arrived. Scaffolds, machinery, materials, dumpsters and portable toilets were scattered about the grounds. One of 2 elevators were reserved for construction workers. The roof top mist station was the main reason we chose our location. It of course was closed,along with the regular pool,kiddie pool, hot tub and parking garage. That in and off its self was reason to be frustrated. BUT,the inside noise of hammering, drilling and whatever else they were doing began at 730 and ended at 5 o clock. We have used Meyers for 20 to 25 years. We were even notified prior on one occasion of work being done and we were able to relocate ahead of time. I gave a 1 star rating because of 2 of your employees, Mia and Lucas. They were very polite and professional but with the issues we had they had to turn it over to a supervisor. I actually sent pictures of the grounds and a sound viedo of the inside construction noises to turn over to management. We were actually given a 20 % discount, however, with no escape from the issues (inside or outside) we didn't feel that was enough. We asked for 50 % due to the fact we only had quite time from 5 o clock to 7:15 which is about half the time. We are very disappointed and discourgaged in a company that we have used for so many years and again I urge everyone to check before they head out on vacation.
This has been the easiest place we have ever stayed to check-in and out. The condo was beautiful and clean had everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Fantastic as always. This is our fourth year using a Meyer VR location. Island Shores is always fun and nice. Love that every unit opens right out on the beach. Check in was when we were told, and the unit was nice and clean. We already have our reservation in for next year when we are coming to Gulf Shores for our wedding. Heading to the beach is always enjoyable with Meyer VR.
My family and I had a great time at this condo! It went beyond our dreams of what the condo would be like! This was the best vacation ever! The condo was super clean, the view was awesome, and the condo is located in a prime location! I will be going back for sure!
We had a wonderful time at the Southern Exposure. The house had everything we needed here. I can not say anything bad! And it s a hop skip and jump right to the beach. The home has 2 decks with amazing views! Would definitely rent this place again!
Tidewater was ok, not great. That's not Meyer's fault. When I booked it online it said express check-in was available for this unit. After I booked and paid for the condo I get an email from Meyer's telling me I'll have to go to there office to pick up my check- in package. I get there and they handed me a piece of paper with the entry code on it. Sure could have been emailed to me. Cost me an hour. After driving 8 hours the day of arrival. White sand beach was perfect.
Meyer Realty has been around since I was just a pup. Always taking care of the customer. The rates are better too. I guess some rental companies need big marketing budgets and you pay for it in the rental.Glad I stayed at of their several kid friendly resorts.
We stayed in 6809 room. Bathroom shower doors in both bathrooms need to be fixed or replaced. The dishwasher was full of dishes when we arrived. Besides these two things we really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was very polite and helpful.
Friendly staff. Great swimming pools. Short walk to the beach. Reasonable prices. I would highly recommend Crystal Towers. Best vacation we have had in several years!
We have used Meyer rentals for several years! We are always pleased with the service and accommodations! Check in is convenient and simple! We will continue to use Meyer for our future vacations!
We had a great week in a Gulf Shores. We loved our house and the location. We wish the pedestrian crosswalk worked in front of our unit. We were very disappointed that repair personnel did not wear masks when they entered the house to make repairs. We had difficulty reaching someone in the office but when we did, response time was quick.

Great views, easy check in & out, and well stocked kitchen. Often when staying in condos we ve had to run out to buy an item such as a pan or wine opener or had to get creative but this unit had everything we could possibly need to prepare meals. Unit is a bit dated but overall was very clean & everything was in working order. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future.
Meyer Vacation Rentals is one of the largest rental companies on the Alabama Gulf Coast. If your plans include visiting the Gulf, Meyer should be your first choice in vacation rentals. They are awesome!
We are currently in a Meyer property on Orange Beach. When we checked in, the condo was filthy! After sweeping up a bucketful of sand, I called and asked that it be recleaned. A lady came and cleaned. It was only at 9:30 pm when I noticed we had NO sheets on our beds. Once again I called the after hours number. We are currently waiting for sheets . It is 10pm. My children are exhausted and I am very dissatisfied. This is a very expensive condo and Meyer should do better....update the guy just came with sheets but didn't bring enough although I clearly explained what we needed. He has to go back for more. Children are still up.
We have stayed at the beach club in fort Morgan numerous times and have always had a great experience. This time was different. We stayed in Doral 1502. The owner must never visit here because there were numerous fixture issues. The faucets were dirty and there appeared to be mold on the ceiling. The deck furniture was peeling and the door was rusted. There were also a couple of safety issues for small children (dishwasher door and a nail sticking out from a door knob). Everything was very dated. Also, the slider was filthy. Will go elsewhere next time.
Only issue I had was that our First night at the condo we had storms and we had a leak in the bedroom and water dripped on my wife s head in the middle of the night. I called on Monday morning and spoke to a Meyer vacation representative who said she would send someone out and they would leave a note after they inspected and repaired. I never saw a note if anything was repaired/fixed and I was never contacted back ...
We are renting a 6 bedroom home. Upon arriving we found the house filthy. We called them and they apologized and offered to send the cleaning crew back out. When the cleaning crew came back they said the reason the place was so filthy was because the renters before us left such a mess. Not my problem. They stayed 20 minutes and left doing little more than moping the kitchen. I tried calling them numerous times after that and I was never able to get through to anyone. Don t rent from this company. We didn t come on vacation to have to clean a 6 bedroom house. We couldn t shower or use the kitchen without cleaning.
Very disappointed with Meyer when booking our vacation for 6 nights over Easter weekend. Got a confirmation on March 10th after booking through their website. On March 14th got an email (not a call) claiming that our property was not available because of construction delays, and offering us a not nearly as nice replacement (which by the time we realized it was an email cancelling our reservation, had already been booked anyway). By the time they canceled our reservations, everything was booked up and we have had to cancel our entire trip. Now paying for flight cancelations besides enjoying the long weekend with my parents. Be wary of booking through this company on busy weekends! They did not do enough to reach out to us with their mistake.
We had our daughters wedding at the beach Oct. 6. We had made reservations at Seascape 108 coming in on the 4th and departure on the 7th. These reservations were made more than a few months in advance, the week before we was supposed to leave out I called to confirm and they had our coming in date on the 5th. My husband took a vacation day and this was our gift to our daughter, an extra day on the beach. We spoke to them twice, the first time we was going to come in on that Friday, but my husband told me to call back and find out how much an extra night would be. It was a reasonable price so we told them to add Thursday night. We paid over 600 for two nights in an out dated, stale smelling condo that was supposed to be ocean front view, the only view we had was of the back of houses. I will never stay here again! It was such a rip off. You would think for a $150.00 clean up fee there would not be sand spurs in the carpet and it wouldn t smell like an old stale garage. Very disappointed, disappointment isn t the word! With all of this being said, the place was a dump, it was filthy, the pool was on the front side, did I mention it was filthy and very out dated. The comforters looked as if they were bought the year I was born (77). The pull out couch was horrible, the mattresses were so uncomfortable my husbands, my daughters and my back hurt for a few days. I go to the beach every year, mostly PCB and Destin. The rooms we stay in there make this place look like complete trash, and we paid double the money. They talked it up on the phone and was very polite, this is why we went with them. I wouldn t recommend this place to anyone! I would love to have a partial refund!
We really enjoyed our stay at Phoenix 1 in Orange Beach. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. Our unit was not rented the day before so we actually got to check in early which was really nice having a little one with us. It was convenient to restaurants, Walmart, and shopping. I ve rented through Meyer before and will definitely continue to do so.
Got to house and couldn t use any amenities cause of fees not paid at VIVA DUNES! Was treated like outsiders and kicked out the beach club.. Rental agreement says we have access to all amenities..
This is the second summer we have used Meyer Vacation Rentals. When I spoke to the representative on the phone, all my questions were answered and she was helpful in finding the perfect place for our needs. Both times our rental was clean and well equipped. I will definitely use Meyer again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Our condo at Pelican pointe is very nice but Myers should of told us there would be parking for one vehicle only. Myers told us we could park at there bldg. in Gulf shores for free but what a trip every day to get your car. The property manager is not helpful in any way
This is just a friendly reminder that you should not go with Myers vacation rentals. Today we have received an email saying our condo is no longer available. We tried to reach out to them and said we can t do anything about it and it no longer our problem. This is five days before we are supposed to arrive. I wish I could give zero stars because the level of unprofessional is ridiculous and now this have ruin my family vacation. Myers vacation rentals are not a trustworthy company and have no problem screwing over customers.
We stayed white caps room 1204 and it wasn t the best stay for $1800 we paid. We couldn t cook anything for the kids with the Only 2 Very burned pots they supplied. The shower curtains were filled with mold. The throw pillows on the bed were really gross and stained. The covers on the bed seemed from the 50 s. Over all everything seemed dirty, out of date and cheap .
From the time I booked online, until the time I dropped the key off, I enjoyed every part of my Meyer experience. The price was right, the room (652) was great (who spends time in the room anyway when you're at the beach!), and the Meyer check in and out was easy and friendly.
Meyer Rentals were wonderful to work with. The sweet ladies there found us a beautiful rental at the last minute. The condo was fresh and clean when we arrived. We had a wonderful first anniversary in Gulf Shores. We will definitely use Meyer Rentals again.
We have been visiting Orange Beach / Gulf Shores since 2000. This is our 9th Winter to stay January and February. Our favorite activity other than your beautiful white sandy beach, are your miles of trails and park boardwalks for walking and biking. We have a wonderful Church we are involved in here. Also active with Friendships and music entertainment. The area has grown with much improvements. Our condo 603 had a great view, and spacious. Looking forward to coming back in 10 months.

This was our first time visiting Orange Beach and we all had a great time! Loved the location & not too crowded. We had 7 adults & 5 kids. The only problem we had was parking. Two of our cars had to park off site so we really didn't like that part. Overall it was a great condo! Highly recommend Orange Beach!
Great location on the beach. Nice views from the house. Clean. Spacious enough for our family. A few things could use some maintenance. Killed several large cockroaches in the house. Got a few splinters from the walkway down to the beach. Overall, had a real nice vacation though.
Are not giving refunds during COVID-19. Very disappointed in this company during this hard time. Especially because we booked our place long before the beaches and everything first closed!
I have been coming here for over 30 years. I have never had a complaint. I'm staying at the boardwalk condo unit187. We got here on 6/29/19. The unit was nasty. The love seat was broken down. No light bulbs in the lamps. The door keys want hardly work. My wife called and reported it when we got here. I had to call them again to come work on it. Very disappointed in this unit.
Our room was very nasty. Bathroom tub was clogged with hair and mold and mildew in every tub. Ac went out twice. Will not stay on Meyers property again!!!!
Called Meyer upon arrival about house safety issues and it poor conditions. Sent pictures to Management but still was unable to speak to anyone until we stopped by business going out of town. Martha s Vineyard was filthy and had light fixture hanging by wires with insulation hanging out of ceiling on porch. Couch looked like it had blood stains on it and many other issues with house. Manager refunded cleaning fee but should have done more. Will not rent from Meyer ever again or recommend them.
Stayed at The Beach Club dates 7/11-7/18 in room 702D. Room was filthy, dirty dish water and rag in kitchen, dirt/sand/trash on floors, items left by last occupants still in room, hand and face prints on windows, sand all over couch and bed. Damage to basically every wall in the unit whether from trolley or old dated wallpaper peeling off the walls. We checked in at 4 PM and after three phone calls (one of which telling me to call back tomorrow) to finally running back into town to the rental building, we finally got into our (still dirty) room at 9 PM. Room in same condition as before being cleaned . With the price I paid for this unit it was unacceptable and I Definitely DO NOT recommend booking through them if this is what they offer because this room was NOT Beach Club standards as I have stayed here 6+ times in the past.
Terrible experience. Will never stay with Myer Rentals again. They rented us a 3 bedroom condo that sleeps 8, which translated into 4 couples for us, but were only allowed 2 parking passes. (Bel Sole 902) Myers has on their paperwork at check-in that they can only give out 2 parking passes per condo, but the property manager for the condo could approve for more passes. When we asked the property manager, she said Myers had to approve more parking passes. We went to Myers she gave us a parking pass that we found out at 10pm was a "bogus pass". (Security officers exact words) Come to find out the pass Myers gave us, was only for their overflow parking lot at their office, 20 mins away. This information was not communicated until I had to call them at 10:30pm that night because one of our cars were about to be towed. Myers threw Bel Sole under the bus, Bel Sole threw Myers under the bus, basically I (the paying customer) was stuck in a power struggle with Myers and Bel Sole. NOT INTERESTED! Myers told many lies to get us out of their face temporarily. 1. They weren't authorized to call Bel Sole about the parkimg pass situation. (Manager over customer relations actually admitted that they should have been more pro-active in calling Bel Sole to help with the situation.) 2. We asked an employee for the condo owners email to give them feedback on our stay. He said he would have that information for us at check-out. Then manager informed us that they weren't authorized to give that information. She stated we would get an email to leave comments, that would go directly to the owner. When I asked the director of customer relations about this, he stated that the comments do NOT go directly to the owners. Rather, Myers gets them and then will discuss them with the owners. Kind of defeata the purpose when Myers can thwn pick and choose what information to give the owners. I spoke to a customer service rep and a MANAGER a Myers and commented that I knew they didnt care if they lost us as customers as they had plenty to fill our spot and neither made any attempt to assure me that was incorrect. Actually the manager at check-out gave me a smirk with no response! Spoke with the director of customer service and he actually provided the best customer service of all the employees and managers we dealt with. He offered a credit for a future visit, but we declined the offer as we have absolutely no intention of giving them any of our money in the future. Two side notes....the director of customer relations informed me that his staff did not lie to us, instead it was just a miscommunication. Well, it was a terrible miscommunication that was, lets call it what it was, lies! Also, the property manager and security gaurd at Bel Sole have absoluty no social skills and will treat you like dirt on their shoes. I spoke with their manager as well and he was a pleasure to speak with and I really felt that he heard my feedback and appreciated the feedback.
The staff at Meyer were AMAZING! My family stayed with them this week after our original condo (and two others booked with other companies) didn't work out. We had driven all the way from KY to Panama City FL for our original vacation. Once our condo fell through we couldn't find anything else for the week in PCB. I found and booked a condo in gulf shores and we drove throughout the night to Alabama only to be told the next morning that the condo we booked was unavailable. I had seen signs for Meyer and gave them a call to see if they had anything available last minute. The lady I spoke to was awesome she hooked us up with an AMAZING condo for the week and worked it out so we could check in asap because she knew we hadn't had sleep in over 24hours! Once we checked in and arrived at our condo I received a call just to check up on us and to make sure our condo was perfect! MEYER SAVED OUR VACATION!! It was our first family vacation in 8 years and I was seriously thinking it would be our last, but after our experience with them it changed my mind! I can't thank them enough!!
Room was amazing..When we checked in the lady was so sweet and heart warming it was like she been knowing us and it was our first time booking with meyers....The condo was really nice..beach view..friendly neighbor's who was welcoming. .there was pool with outside fans bbq pits they even provides charcoal..Meyers is the best vacation renters ever ...i highly recommend them if you are looking for a vacation spot .We stayed at lagoon landing 203....
