After traveling 10 hours to get there with our 15 month old grandson we did not want to have to deal with elevators that weren t working. A simple notification on the website that they were broken would have been enough for us to be able to make a decision whether or not to rent the unit. Felt like we were misled. After a few conversations with the representatives at Meyer, a young man told me that he would give me a 10% refund on my stay. I purposefully waited for almost 2 weeks before filling out a survey to see if they kept their word. So far they haven t. It really bothers me when people don t keep their word. I usually don t fill out surveys unless I m happy with my experience but in this case the lack of integrity compels me to do so. I wonder why someone would tell me that and then not do it? Did they think I would just blow it off?
