The hotel is located near the center of Belgrade (Palilula settlement) overlooking the Tasmajdan Park, close to the Faculty of Law, Church of Sv. Mark, the Wolf Memorial and Slavia Square. Guests from the diverse world of celebrities, from top artists and movie stars, to statesmen and revolutionaries, have contributed to the hotel's reputation. Louis Armstrong, Elizabeth Taylor, Emperor Haile Selassia, Che Guevara and many others stayed in Belgrade's Metropol. Opened in 1957, Metropol is one of three five-star hotels in Belgrade today

In favor: a great hotel, very courteous service, a clean dining room with a beautiful view and a variety of different kosher food (in a separate room without a pig) and non kosher (of course there is no kosher certificate). Clean and well-kept rooms. Hotel is about half an hour walk from the castle (very convenient with places to stop and see on the way). If you have a birthday surprise you with treats to the room (without specifying, they have the date of birth from the passport)
Against: a bed too soft and cushions not the most comfortable (but it is quite individual)

A luxurious hotel in downtown Belgrade. It also makes a very good venue for conferences, promotional and corporate events (they've got several conference rooms). There is also a very good restaurant. Of course, this is not a place to go to if you're looking for a cheap place to stay.

Fantastic hotel. The service here is great and they are very helpful. The food is excellent. The gym is very large and spacious. The hotel is conveniently located near the heart of the city and is an easy walk to all of the best sites in Beograd. Definitely recommend.

The hotel has seen better days. The design of the rooms, in my opinion, is outdated. Nice spa, huge hotel pool. Breakfast for such a price of 20 euros per person is very sad. Upon check in, the receptionist gave us a room for the disabled. When I came down 5 minutes later with a request to change the room, he made me wait in line, and then argued for a long time, did not want to give another one, said that I could change the hotel. After I started just yelling, then I gave another normal number. The double room had one bathrobe and one set of towels and shampoos. I had to go back to the reception and ask. The scales were without a battery. In short, the service is just bad. I know if I'll be back again

An impressive hotel with a professional attitude from the very first moment. Already on arrival (07:00) they gave me the keys to the room, much to the usual hours of the hour, all with a smile and a practical manner combined with cordial greetings. The room is pleasant and spacious, a large shower and plenty of hot water, special soaps, quiet and a possibility to sleep all day long. It is highly recommended!

I was here on a business lunch only, but still: the view from the 10th floor is amazing, the glass walls let you overlook the city wherever you sit, there are two terraces as well. The food is amazing as well as the very friendly and nice staff. Definitely will come back again.

I am absolutely convinced that this is the most do not fly hotel,
1, scheduled time with breakfast, but go through check in when they were told breakfast was paid not incloud,

2, Secondly, when explicitly told to book hotels Free Parking,, but in the end still have to pay2400RSD OR 20EUR,

Finally, I discovered after his so frustrating, I paid one night fee more than Hilton Hotel Shangri-La hotel and incense Alegria Hotel, Intercontinental Hotel or any of its hotels to be expensive at least 50 euros,

This is the most I've ever seen in Serbia do not fly hotel, and called five-star hotel, but not as good as four-star hotel.

The main thing is bad service

Great spa and workout facilities and amazing service. Room was a bit dark (navy blue paint) and executive suite room set up was somewhat strange, but a comfortable place to stay and work in Belgrade.
