Metropol Palace / Sheraton Sofia Hotel Balkan Review

I was not accommodated in a hotel, so I can't judge the room.
The reception is great, at least it has flaws ...

In one word: Impressed!!! I am & was fully impressed by the level of service I & my colleagues received during our unexpected week long stay at the Metropol Palace.

Not only did the staff go above and beyond, making dinner recommendations and reservations, they even tracked down our food when a delivery went missing in action.

The service was seen throughout the hotel... Fron everyone downstair around the check desk, (esp. Goran who did a strikingly amazing job throughout our stay as well as the his colleagues. I'd also like to recognize the concierge, Vukasin, who also went above and beyond for us during our stay.) From the Spa which my colleagues raved about, to the team in the restaurant on the 10 floor.... The entire stay was amazing and very much an unexpected surprise of goodness.

Personally, I didn't make it to the lobby cafe or spa myself; however, I can only imagine the staff, service, and quality of products would be as stellar and amazing as the rest of the hotel.

If ever in Belgrade, I would highly recommend the Metropol Palace... Yes, the rooms are clean and comfortable, yes, the internet is fast... Yes, the breakfast and overall stay was lovely.... It's really however just the staff that truly made my stay extra special. Thank you all. I hope to see you and Belgrade again... Hopefully not with the 35year delay as last time. ;)

Apsolutly hotel with five stars It is very modern, clean place, the staff is very kind. The location is very central, perfect for guests who want explore the city.

One of the best and big hotels in town, the ambience and staff are fine, 20 min walk to the center / city center, the ambiance and the staff were very nice, 20 min by walk to the city center.

Nice hotel with very pleasant and professional personalized. Excellent breakfast. There is also a roof top bar with a terrace and a view of practically entire Belgrade! Warm recommendation.

Location is very convenient, rooms are very spacious, breakfast is fine and fitness facilities are very good. What I did not like is the smoking smell in conference rooms!

Nice and clean hotel. Rooms are spacious, but dark in terms of lighting. Reasonable service is not the fastest. Good atmosphere, breakfast and quite a price and includes a swimming pool.

MUM 2016, Lunch is served so that at the same time seven tables (for four people) should be arranged for about a hundred people, of course it was not possible so you could see the plates on the loudspeakers, the floor ...
Upon arrival we surrendered the car in front of the hotel staff, they drove him to the garage, a bill that was not cheap we paid and our car was returned with a rubber drum, for the boss with a crooked big buck, and for the hotel driver a big plus.

The dining and room service is very excellent and we enjoyed it

Our room was spacious! The bathroom was amazing. Good view. Came with free breakfast that was also good. Nice staff. Walking distance to Republic Square. Had a grocery store and bakery (pekara) nearby conveniently as well.

The city with a tradition. Beautiful architecture from that time. I miss them restaurant Archive.

Nice hotel, but atmosphere and service is awfull, for example Fresh squeezed orange is pulpa and 2/3 of water and we waited for our drinks for about 30 minutes

A trully extraordinary hotel. Reception staff was really polite, housekeeping as well.
The food, drinks, service is phenomenal ! Great rooms, great view. Could have more TV channels. It is in the centre of the city and everything is available.

Good 5 star hotel which has definitely seen better days and shows the wear. But overall, a nice experience. A little away from the central republic square. Which means it's also a bit quieter.

An old cult hotel that is now renovated and renovated. It is located in the wider city center close to the park so it has greenery and can be parked in. The rooms are spacious and comfortable service good only prices are not for the piano. They are a little bit stronger. There is a swimming pool a sauna and a beautiful restaurant. Guests can explore the city and the sand if they want, everything is close to them.

Large and clean rooms with excellent breakfast and a short distance to the city center

Nice hotel nice rooms but a bit sucks the location is not in the city center in the area of things and restaurants if you come for a vacation in the pool and gym the place is excellent but the location is a bit problematic so think twice what you prefer

Nice staff, great atmosphere, good coffee blend, insanely high prices.
1 regular Pekinkovac is 750din, cappuccino is 440.

It's getting better, but you still don't get what you paid for.

Its a hit or miss for friendly staff. Inconsistent with good service, most days they are very slow and forgetful. You will sit there for a long time without being serviced. Chatting and texting at the bar is more important than customers & guests.

Hotel in an exceptional location. Modern design with 5 stars. Staff kindly and professionally.

Been here just one night but the hotel was so cool, there is a bar at the top of the hotel with an amazing view, cool music and great wines, the only thing under expectation was food in the lounge bar as it is way too much fancy styled. But, i will still give it a 5 star because everything else was GREAT!

Missing some "luxury" touches in services provided.

Excellent design, but rooms facing the street (=majority) may be loud even when windows are closed. Remember to require parkview if you don't like the noise.

Lovely hotel.
Very close to the center. The best quality spa.
The room level is high, the service very good.
The breakfasts are very tasty and the kosher guards have a corner with disposable dishes and separate food.
