The hotel is nearby the main attractions such as the textile museum, sarawak museum, the state mosque and etc. Just a few minutes walk to the waterfront and the new darul hana bridge which is also known as the "S bridge". There are plenty of street eateries at India Street which is about 5 minutes walk across the hotel.

Just walking distances from Plaza Merdeka, Kuching waterfront, and old market, it's a luxurious place for MYR200. Got room on 19th floor with view to Kuching icon and river area. The spacious room around 120m2 but a lil bit outdated seems from its decor kind of the end of 90's decade or earlier noughties. Two thumbs up for its cleanliness and warm service from hotel staff. The cons... narrow parking area, WIFI passcode restricted only for 3 devices and busy elevator at peak time.
The best hotel ever in Kuching that I have been to becuz the room is very clean, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere in the hotel is so relaxable, the pool is so damn good n the view from the room to see the Kuching is awesome, I love the buffet breakfast, satisfied n many choices, love it n will surely recommend to others!
They offer the best breakfast! From local breakfast to western breakfast. Really love their standard room, big and clean. Front liner staff is friendly and they also offer a welcoming drink at the lobby area. Located not far from Kuching Waterfront and shopping mall like Plaza Merdeka.
Old furniture in the room.. Toilet not functioning well.. Ants on the wall and table and on the sink in the toilet. Made a complaint to the front desk.. But no action taken
We stayed in family room suite. Rooms was just OK, the bidet in the toilet was leaking, the couch was worn out and the TV reminisce me when I was in the early 90s.
It is extremely bad. Room look like a 2 star facility. No fridge, aircon is not working, washroom smells musty. Carpet is dirty and old.washroom door is cracked and paint is wearing off. There are no slippers. Bed sheet has stains. Bed is not comfortable at all.never coming back here again.
During check in tell us that the standard room were all occupied so will upgrade us to bigger room , yes but only the bed gets bigger , the room s light wasn t functioning, the central control button is not working , even the room key not working after one day , we stayed for 3 night and everyday after coming back need to go to the counter and get the key active again ... what kind of hotel is this ! If you still have chance please go for others . Honestly
Nice hotel... good service. This hotel is close to waterfront and plaza merdeka. I took a standart room with breakfast. You can book a room from traveloka like i did. When you arrive in here... you have to pay a tax. I paid 20myr because i ordered for 2 days 2 night.
Come to V.A. on every Wednesday Ladies Night as the special guess DJ hype the place with sexy Tropical Latino Bass set....plus the in-house band El-Rhythmn plays live set of latest new number of Dancehall and Reggaeton....
Parking fees is excessively expensive. Charging RM4 even for less than 10 minutes stop! Very quiet and cold treatment at the reception counter. Unfriendly and not feeling being welcomed
Room is very old, 2 lamps in the room but both of it is not working. Room is very dim. One of the plug point not working as well. Iron is not hot enough, so if you want to iron your clothes, you have to take longer than usual. Ventilation is very bad especially after you poop. There is no facial towel given as well.
All in all, check in book 2apartment utk family, slippers xde.iron xde.Deco dlman pun xmacam hotel 5bintang.sedeh dan rasa tidak bermanfaat ..sory to say
The suites are well-maintained and nice view overlooking the city centre (great sunset view), free parking for guests. The rates I believe are quite affordable for one night.
This hotel is probably quite luxurious if you go by 1980s standards. The room is quite old (and we stayed in one with a splendid view of the...carpark), the pool is too small and shallow, and the machines in the gym... let's just say they are not very modern.
But the rates are low, the location is great, the wifi works and the front desk staff are friendly - I sent an online purchase to the hotel and they helped to receive it.
Would recommend only for a short stay... unless you're into the retro vibes
I booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 2 nights. The room was great. There weren't a fridge and an iron in the room so I had to call for room service. But all in all it was a great experience.
This review is for the room we get during our stay at Kuching from June 18 to 20th 2018 located at 4th floor. We stayed for 2 nights and given a room with a window facing the car park. The room is a double bed, small in size, a water closet with shower, got tv, a safe inside the closet with clothes hangers, a small fridge underneath the table where there is a compliment bottled water, instant coffee and an electrical jug. The air conditioning is cold but felt dry probably no ventilation from the window. Try to avoid rooms that are facing the car park bcos they are small, not comfortable with no view. The rooms facing the Merdeka field are better. Probably bcos of cheap price the reason for the room condition. The hotel management should consider making the room as a single bed instead of double to make more space. My sleep experience? Only able to manage less than 5 hours of sleep throughout my stay. Will I return again? Probably not if given the same room location again.
