Last 1 1/5 years unfortunately, but often I have only positive experiences with regard to handling and handling of complaints. Always helped at the time of treatment or earlier. As far as I can judge, the hospital is run by very professional / friendly staff in all layers, and especially for the E21 and E25 departments!
In various departments found out that doctors have no knowledge of medicines and treatments. In special dentistry, treatment is even refused if it is not according to their vision. I have been walking with holes in my mouth for three years and 1 year with a broken tooth.
For 10 years in Psychatrics I was prescribed medicines that I did not need at all and that have life-threatening side effects. When I reported these side effects, the doctor in question started to decrease on another means. Meanwhile treated by an external psychiatrist and now I am off the drug. Doctors don't have a clue about medicines, don't know how Google works, don't have empathy and don't listen to you.
I have very bad experiences with this hospital. Years ago sent from the box to the wall both from cardiology to the gastrointestinal liver department, no communication in the departments themselves, no sufficiently trained staff to help, eventually helped by 2 professors but because it had an extremely stubborn attitude did not find the actual cause. Sent the file to the USA via the organization Best Docters to make a judgment there. After this advice sent to the hospital in Amersfoort to judge. Man what a different hospital this is, within 2 hours in 5 departments visited and with a date of surgery in his pocket. And guess what, they have pulled out a lump of 5 by 12 cm, which according to the doctor in Enschede would have nothing to do with my symptoms. Well I am rid of my complaints.
I am now in ENT because I have a constant cold and my ears are closed. Well I am now almost 4 months later and still nothing. All nasal sprays tried but nothing so far. Friday 1 more research but then I have to live with it. What a hospital, really a license of inability and really but really bad. I really don't understand how you don't get this on the ride.
I would say go look at other hospitals because after this this will be my last visit to the MST in Enschede.
Great hospital. The opinions about the location are very varied. The departments that we visit meet our satisfaction.
I have had no problems so far in any form in this hospital. I visit the neurology department once in a while, and the doctor I have is very friendly and always wants to help me with all kinds of information. Other studies I have had were also without problems.
Terrible hospital and a bunch of prutsers that work there, they had to be deeply ashamed to call their own doctors .... close that shop !!

Yesterday and today I would be called back .. Well not. It is an operation whether it is still possible. Not whether I might take a paracetamol. You are in suspense all week whether it is still possible. Then finally the day they would call at 3.30 pm the same contacted the hospital there is informed that you are on the list to be called .. Not the case. So today kindly asked if I can actually be called back anyway and she would pass it on to the neurosurgeon, you guessed it wasn't called. Heavily disappointed. Now I can call Enschede again on Monday. I cannot say whether it is still friendly. Sorry ... I was very pleased. I went extra to Twente because they could no longer help me in the east of the country.

I think it is very good that they have apologized ... because that makes me feel that I am being seen ... in the end they do their best to put the patients at rest ... my father had long embolism and was very well helped and he has had a neat explanation of the nurses and the doctors ... so I took out my negative review ... I think the bigger the less time, the smaller the more attention to the patients ...
Our friend was bleeding a lot, and went to the first Emergency which took so long. By the time we got help she was barely passing out. Took too long for an emergency....

Excellent hospital, good and less good surgeons are in every hospital, the turnaround is good, friendly people who want to help you, I agree that parking and the costs are an annoying problem here.

Me Sister is pregnant wanted to visit her there was around 2 pm but women who sat at the door at reception, I think, say that that is not a time of visitors. I wonder then do I have to come at night or what. She must be a little more friendly. Anyone can drink coffee and gossip.
MST Enschede is a hospital where the patient is usually seen by an intern / doctor for a consultation and briefly by the doctor, problems presented are not immediately transferred to the doctor. Much research and diagnosis is based on looking, and if nothing is seen, then nothing is. Searching for problem is little, referring to colleagues or other discipline is no longer and people are always thrown back to the general practitioner, cumbersome, time-consuming, etc. The health insurer will have determined this, but the patient will suffer. Nursing and meals top, doctors usually arrogant and little educated about comorbid (multiple diseases / disabilities) disorders of the patient when this is not directly related to a discipline of the hospital
Very friendly staff, always a smile and a few nice words for the patients, because you can take an example in Germany.
Very modern equipment u.a. electric beds, free Wi-Fi, IPads for patients.
Capable and very sensitive doctors, I am excited about so much "human dignity" under one roof.

Do not expect to get assistance at this hospital. We stayed in Enschede recently and my daughter becale sick with Bronchitis. As we do not have a regular doctor in Enschede Hotel staff recommended that we go to the hospital. At first the staff were willing to help us and give us an appointment. However when I informed them that I would pay directly for the service as we are not living in Europe and therefore do not have a European insurance card they asked a staff member from Finance Department to talk to us. This person then reversed the earlier friendliness and said that without a doctor's recommendation they could not give us an appointment. We then explained that we did not have a doctor in Enschede. She then refered us to the doctor located in the same building but outside of the clinic. When we came there we found the door locked. After ringing someone informed us the the bell is only for delivery and that on that day no doctor is there. She then gave us a telephone number to call. It was very obvious that the hospital did not want to deal with the Bronchitis of my daughter, so we gave up and got support in Amsterdam

Nice people but we all remain a bunch of monkeys. Doctors behave as if they are above all criticism and they forget that they often do something. They don't know. Just like in all hospitals, human arrogance is the biggest problem here. Delivering internal criticism can cost you your job.

Dermatology: skin condition detected, light therapy would be started. I would be called up automatically around the holidays. I didn't have to go after this myself. In the meantime I get more and more spots and bumps and scars. After 2 months it is approximately 4 fold. Today I phoned, because I am tired of waiting. Yes sorry ma'am, you are double in it and the doctor has not reported any 'action' in the system. Very annoying for you, but I can't do anything about it now. Awkward for you. It is said that I do not think it is ok that a) is reacted this way and that b) is forgotten. That while I hardly sleep because of the itch and I am becoming increasingly unhappy as a person. Answer: Yes again I find that very annoying, now some practical questions ... Again, I just want to make clear that this really has an unnecessary impact on my life. From Drenthe we were picked up by a car from the Thorax department. Free service. Class. Wife was admitted, I could myself in an apartment, also from the Thorax department. Very satisfied with this.

My mother was told a while ago that she has / had cancer (now operated on), cancer was then found in the esophagus and they had also found a spot on the lung where they assumed it was also cancer had been sown. My mother has been so upset and sad all the time that she had 3 species at the same time. And now she is casually told that the WSS was just a pneumonia due to a flu, instead of lung cancer because the spot was gone! VERY BAD! HERE WE STILL GO!
I prefer to give 1 star .. but you will also have departments where things are going better. but at the moment not nurses are very grumpy refer to 1st contact persoobs every time while 2nd is also informative and may come over without permission from 1st contact person ... you just get half answers every time and every day goes the same. The visit times absurt. 2 times a day for 1 hour, of which at that time the patient is also cared for .... nurses do not look at the patient himself at all * one wants more company than the other * in this case there should be more company ( ask you to come by afternoon 5 to 10 min ff it is rejected)

So much experienced in the last 7 months with my brother, so much went wrong in terms of treatment and nursing, he died September 29, which was not necessary.
A few days before his death, a nurse came to tell him that he couldn't stay for weeks to die in a very hard way.

Last night I went to the emergency room for a cotton ball in the ear that stayed in it. My friend and I arrive at the counter, tell the employee this. You are a hospital with so many doctors and still deny that the right resources are not there? Great, we went home with the advice half an hour done the shower head beat oil in the ear. My father-in-law was examined for this, and treated for it, lung cancer. He was not the type to seek medical care quickly, but he was always full of praise for how friendly and courteous the staff were. I myself have been impressed by the far-reaching concept and flexibility that existed for the effects of the disease on both the sick and his loved ones. We are grateful to you.
Terribly filthy hospital, faeces on the chairs and floors, deep sighs when asked to clean something, is very unhygienic worked, doctors work alongside each other and discuss nothing with each other, in short, one major health risk

Last week operated on my hip at MST. They were very friendly and a lot was possible in consultation. A very nice team made sure that I moved on every day. I am not allowed to eat gluten and cow's milk and that was no problem at all. They really made my time in hospital easier.
The call is always anonymous, if you miss it, you could miss one appointment....

We have never experienced the way we have been treated here. Unfair treatment seems to be the most normal thing in the world here. Not just once, but several times.
You do not have to submit a complaint about disrespectful behavior. You will have to deal with a team leader who makes the existing problem even worse by also behaving rude, who says that he does not want to know about your complaint and what happened; fully support its people. Unprofessional to say the least. Amazing that these incapable people occupy (on the internal) managerial positions.
It doesn't stop there. Then they join forces with the doctor and the transfer department to get rid of you as quickly as possible. They do have the authority, but it is certainly not ethical. They are not afraid to abuse powers. These are used as improper pressure medium.
In addition, there is much to tell about the arrogance and indifference of (especially the younger generation) doctors, but I will not go into this further.
I do not believe in the usefulness of calling in the complaints officer. This serves as a kind of mediator and is not an authority. Since a complaints procedure does not prevent some employees from misbehaving, I assume that they are not afraid of this.
In my view, two options are possible. Or, the board is not aware of this type of practice, or it is condoned. In the second case it would be a great shame!
At my own request I asked the doctor to have a test done at the MST for the diagnosis of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and its severity. A test that was done very correctly was neatly discussed with a conclusion that surgical intervention was the best option. (I was on par with the neurologist)
A second appointment 1 week later with the neurosurgeon was short but sweet, I came in gave him a hand and say that I wanted to give a firm hand but that this would not work, he takes my hand presses on the sore spot I start to squeak and he asks if it hurts, I indicate yes, and he answers that is all I wanted to know, because if you would not have responded to that pain stimulus, then I may be doing an operation that might be remedied differently. but this is clear.
Wonderful doctor, no nonsense, no fuss, tight and clear, I like that I know right away where I stand. The waiting time for the procedure was 3 months, but given the seriousness I was placed at the top of the list and I could come for the procedure within 12 days.
On the day of the CTS Release intervention 11:50 am inside 12:00 pm outside again. With the message that I could still suffer from it and perhaps experience pain. I had expected this to happen, but as the anesthetic disappeared, the feeling in my hand was a lot more pleasant than before and I was back at work the same evening, albeit in an appropriate way, never bothered for a moment.
I have very different (bizarre) experiences with the 2 hospitals in Hengelo and Almelo, those 2 never again.
My son had a bad bicycle accident and we were transferred from the nearest hospital to MST in Enschede. All staff were very friendly and humane throughout. We felt very well looked after. The treatment was also carried out for the benefit of my son. Many thanks to the children's department and especially to Dr. de Wit for his continuous direct communication about my son's current condition. I can only recommend this clinic. Unfortunately we now have to choose a surgeon in Germany because the journey is too far away from our home town. Otherwise we would definitely stay there for further treatment.

I am a tourist from Greece. I'm out of meds for a psychic problem I have. I was diagnosed by a doctor in Greece for my medication. They're not accepting them, and they wanted me to go to a doctor here just to get my meds. Of course the doctor here wants money. A very bad phenomenon to be seen as money, not as a person. Eventually I'll stay without my meds until I get back to Greece. Of course it's not the employees ' fault, it's the policy that follows. It reminds me of Nazi Germany. Hard to reach, parking costs ridiculously high. When you have an appointment it is almost standard, waiting half an hour to 45 minutes before your turn is no exception.
If you have the choice I would look for another hospital. I speak from personal experience and experiences from family and friends. In my opinion, a bad hospital. Delivering millions of cultivated but decent care is no problem.
I had a tumor in my head and internist Grote Veldman prescribed medication for me. It turned out after a year of complaints that I had indicated several times that I had that he prescribed a much too high dose for me. Because sir apparently didn't know that I always had to take blood as early as possible. Because of this the blood values were always different. Because of this high dose even once in the middle of the night taken by ambulance to the hospital. ( 750) Here they put me in a room for 4 hours and someone came to look once. Eventually I went home again because things went better but they did not know where my low underpressure of 29 got away. Finally on the website of my pharmacy I found out why I had these complaints. Downright outrageous!
My mother recently broke her hip. Has had surgery and after two days in the hospital they want to send her home. So here she is totally dependent on home help. Who as we all know do not have enough time for the people. Take some fresh fruit juice and fruit with you but there is no fridge where you can store it. Take flowers? You have to arrange a vase yourself because there was no money for that after the millions of renovations!
Just an update regarding my mother's hip fracture. After about 8 weeks of pain in her back, it was found that she also broke 2 vertebrae. In the first instance, it would be a shifted vertebra.
Staff very friendly in the neurology department. Nothing was too much for them. Very good help in this department.
