Media Vault Review

Won't find nicer people. Great selection and great prices!

Bought a game from them for my super Nintendo that had a issue and was able to receive store credit for it.. Very nice people. The store is nice organized and they even have a party room for birthdays with multiple tvs and video games to play..

Alot like GameStop he trys to come in just under their prices and does offer some console lounge parties for birthdays and stuff pretty good place to pick up used tech and second hand games

I really enjoy the store, good people good prices and they bring in new stuff regularly so it changes a lot

Great store, friendly people and a good variety of movies, games, game systems, phones, etc.
The service is always great and they take trades for store credit. We buy nearly all our x-box and wii games there! My son has to go there almost every week just to look around.

Great public auction it's a must see with awesome prices

Have a lot of great games to choose from like Xbox,play station, Natindo and Atari too DVD new and used

A good place to find movies and games. Just look at prices. They have been rising on some things. But nice place.

Great place to get good money for electronics, movies, and games. They Buy and sell and give you the most compared to any other store.

Such a great place to pickup old games and memorabilia. They are very fair and the staff is down to earth and willing to help.

Id give 0 stars but then i couldn't post this. Offered me 20$ for a brand new unopened 70$ 4k camera

Purchased a game with DLC guess what couldnt use the DLC bc the code had already been used. Now logically that may have clicked with some but for me I assumed I was getting what I paid for. Now I have a game that I have to spend another $30 dollars on making it the new price so what was the point? If you think like I do there was no point in using this store at all. I would simply like to say how fare they sale anything under false pretenses?

Been buying, selling and trading with them for 2 years. A little mixed review, normally we do great business together but newer employees will try to rip you off. I took my Smash Bros. and Mario kart for gamecube in to sell because I noticed they were selling copies for $70 apiece. They tried to offer me $10 a piece for them and tried to tell me it's because mine aren't in perfect condition (mine looked better then theirs). As long as you know what you've got and what's it's worth then Media Vault is great. But if you're just a casual gamer with no idea of value, do some research first because they will try to lowball you.

I like media vault because they will work on u with there prices they are always friendly in or outside of the shop in other places they make u feel like ur family

I received excellent service with friendly atmosphere.

They have some cool stuff but it wasn't what i was looking for or what I needed.

Very slow had to wait in line 15 min and had 2 cashiers one went to smoke in the middle of a rush it was ridiculous.

Way better then pawn shops if you want to look at second hand electronics or digital media.

Very friendly staff. If the store doesn't have it they will order it for you. Great for all ages. And the beautiful fish tank in the back is a plus as well. Always a great selection. Love to support the local community rather than a franchise. If you haven't been in take time to stop by and have a look window shopping is always free.

SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES! Great little store, if you're looking for any odd older movies they most likely have it. Same goes for games and game systems. The employees are always nice and friendly I've never had a bad experience and I've came here a lot. If I'm not mistaken you can actually rent out a room in media vault for a party (I'm not sure if they still do that) that's pretty cool. Their prices can be a little high for certain things like older generation phones and game systems, but you do get more money here for your electronics and games/movies than you would at gamestop. Support local businesses... seriously.

They no longer carry books and have an auction of junk, collectables etc.

Never had an issue with them, thier return policy however, makes it hard to buy things there confidently. Its of course not typically thier fault if something doesnt work, but if it doesnt, you aint gettin that money back.

Wish there was more of these mom and pop vintage game shops around. They remind me of Game Force that used to be in Hixson on 153 back in the 90s.
Not only is the staff knowledgeable on vintage and collectibles and fair pricing, but they are courteous and professional. I had a severe migraine and was even offered aspirin and water.
I recently put a smart TV on layaway and they have been very kind and flexible when I need slight wiggle room on a payment. My son has Asperger's, it's his favorite store in town and they're always kind and respectful.

I've been going to Media Vault since they were one little corner store in downtown Dayton. This place is amazing you'll always find a friendly helpful staff who wants to make you happy. Layaway programs, generous return policy, and great pricing have worked to make me a life time fan of Media Vault. If you haven't been make it a point to stop by and see what they have in Stock.

Order to fish sandwiches and because of my weight they gave me a free large tea it was very good

Great place to buy movies, games, phones, and great prices. The owners and employees are friendly and go out of their way for their customers.
I love to do my Christmas shopping here because they have stuff for my whole family in one stop.

Except no cash refunds from this over priced place ! You will definitely not get your money back that 24 hr cash back on the receipt is a lie.

They don't do nothing and the little guy that works there, needs to go back to school or do something with his life other than this

Love these guys! The owner cracks me up everytime we have gone in there. Steve is a good guy as well. He helped us with picking out a xbox 1, Some games and got a awesome Loki belt from them. Nice selection of items from movies, games and more.

Local small business with excellent staff and services

The store was clean and well organized. There was a wide selection of dvd's, video games, and video game accessories. The atmosphere was pleasant and the merchandise prices were reasonable.

I always have a problem where I want to spend so much money here.
If you bring in two not worth much DVDs, you get one free from the back wall.
Awesome service, great titles, and just overall cool.
