Nice cozy theater with good sound. The Lyric theater produces and performs live plays with live music.

Saw local production of "Other Desert Cities" with a friend. This is a cute location for affordable regional theatre. Parking is easily accessible and close, the theatre itself puts you close to the action on stage and really gives an intimate feel, and the staff was incredibly helpful and warm.Overall this was an enjoyable evening out and I would encourage those in the area to check out their offerings.

Saw the latest show. Acting was terrific. Minimalist set worked fine. Lighting was perfect. I enjoyed the show even though I wasn't familiar with some of the Jewish references. Go see " My name is Asher Lev" this weekend if you have a chance.

Community Theaters are a dime a dozen in the Greater Cincinnati Area and a lot of them are hit and miss. I think Middletown Lyric Theater is one of the few to provide a consistent level of quality performance. They have a good mix of old and new shows, and straight plays and musical reviews. It's definitely worth your time and money.
