We've had good results in the past, but this time really put me over the edge, came in a 7:30 pm with my wife having chest pains and shortness of breath. Had a quick EKG, then sent back out to wait. almost Four hours later were still waiting. We don't what we're waiting on, I went to the desk to ask and was basically brushed off and told to continue to wait. No time give as to when she could go back. All the while experiencing chest pain and shortness of breath. The indifferent and unconcerned attitude from the invidual at the desk was very unprofessional in fact he was almost rude. Giving me the brush off had convinced me that even though Carolinas is a lesser Hospital in size and reputation, I'll not come back here. Carolinas has never been rude to us. I'm surprised and shocked that someone would have to sit here and suffer for so long...In fact, my Mother had a heart attack last month and SAT here in this ER for three hours before going back. I've lost all confidence in this place. After tonight we won't be back...

The level of care has taken a downward spiral since 2009. You have doctors that's more concern about Medicare rules, than the patients health. You have nurses, especially on the third floor observation main tower that don't take the time to communicate with the patient or the patient's family members and administer medication to the patient. When asked about the medication the nurse seems to become frustrated that someone is actually questioning their judgment.

Mcleod Hospital is one of the only facilities in t...

Mcleod Hospital is one of the only facilities in the area that is equipped to handle numerous medical conditions and or needs; however, this does not mean they are the best. It's actually contrary to their "The Choice of Medical Excellence." My first impression of Mcleod was the lack of cleanliness. Garbage cans in the Pavilion entry and waiting area were overflowing with trash. The restrooms were unkept and barely useable. Improvements to their janitorial services needs a much needed face lift.

According to their value of person, they commit to giving each patient respect and courtesy. I received less than that. Here I am in a room completely exposed, no curtains dividing the space amongst me, with staff coming in and out without any regards to my privacy. I had to ask them to please close the door. I feel so uncomfortable and under valued.

Mcleod of Florence really needs to go back to the drawing table when it comes to patients care, respect and confidentiality. Truly listen to what the community is saying and work towards making some much needed improvements.

I could go on, but I rather not. I could not, would not recommend this hospital to any of my family or friends under good conscience. There is some serious work that needs to be done here.

I gave three stars to be nice.

Was brought into the hospital from another hospital. Twice, and both times I was a admitted patient. Was on 8th floor first time and then the 10th the second time and the Doctors running both floors were great as well as the Nurses and Techs on those floors all. both shifts that ran around the clock. I was there at least 5 days each stay.Very attentive and on the ball. Surgeons Dr. Pannu, Dr.Murrell and Dr.Richey are very good Doctors, explained everything and was open to any and all questions and patient with me. Now the out patient staff are a different story. Kept saying masks are mandatory. I have COPD and had to pull mask aside to catch my breath. Lady at booth 1 and at front desk when I went in last to see Dr.Pannu was very ignorant to me. When I got up she sprayed Lysol everywhere and then had a conversation with another staff member for at least 5 minutes who had no mask on what so ever. I didnt notice til other patients in the waiting room told me.to look up. Yup; lady had no mask on talking away with lady in booth 1. All this after getting a COVID 19 test which came up negative or I am sure I would not have got the appointment to begin with. Hence the 4 stars. That minus 1 star goes to out patient registration.

I m so angry as I type this review. If i could do negative stars I would. After being in the healthcare field for over 10 years it s very easy to recognize when someone is not receiving the care that he or she deserves. This is by far the worst place I ve ever encountered. The care is not that of a trauma center. My cousin who was in a ATV accident was air lifted there within minutes of the accident. The ED doctor refuse to do any surgical procedures to reduce the swelling in his head, knowing that if they didn t the damage would worsen. 48 hours into being in ICU, seeing that the medications and less invasive medical interventions won t working they did nothing else but pump him with pain medicines that sedated him even more. There s so many pieces to this puzzle. The neurosurgeons at this place failed my cousin! The failed his kids by not giving him a fair chance to live & watch them grow up! They failed his mother who now has to bury her son! They sat around and waited until the tissue in his brain completely died from the swelling! Don t take your loved ones here! Yea there are some good reviews and we trusted the good ones when the not so good ones really told the true experience! He s now gone and next week his mother has to bury her only son! I won t let this rest! I will reach out to whomever to report the prolonged delays and refusal to provide definitive care. MCLeod Regional Hospital, we as a family will fight until we can t fight anymore!

those new ER doctors never again i wish they just build a new hospital and bring to florence while i was visiting a co workers the nurses was in the hall talking about patients. and the Dr. that was on call that day omg she never orderd blood work for my manager or nothing just gave her a xray she went to the other hospital and they found blood clot like really smh everybody is not addicted mam sir to pain meds. the gossiping of the nurses was ridicolus very ridicolus at least the lady that was answering the nurse call buttons was very nice and friendly. why do people get into the health field and not concern about the well being of others and yes the dr that was on call 1/8/19 in the er.

We ALWAYS have to follow up with Medical Records r...

We ALWAYS have to follow up with Medical Records regarding those requested to be faxed. Usually the request has to be made two or three times. My husband's first visit was processed through ER. He had been transported via ambulance, a 45 minute ride. During the 7 days he was being "watched" in ICU, we never had a diagnosis, or even talked with a doctor regarding his condition. I flagged down the floor supervisor, with name badge declaring him a physician. He didn't seemed concerned that we had questions. Didn't even want to pull up my husband's chart, even though there were tests, MRI, CT scan which should have been recorded. We were discharged to a Rehab Center after 7 days. Never was offered followup! Never received a diagnosis. My husband's second visit was processed through a neurosurgeon NOT associated with the McLeod group. We received daily visits and updates from the surgeon, and received the BEST care ever! We were in and out in 3 days, into rehab, and no problems. Guess the moral of the story is to stay away from McLeod "group" physicians!

My niece had a terrible virus in December 2019 and...

My niece had a terrible virus in December 2019 and she got really dehydrated so we took her to the ER. First of all they should have a separate area for children so everyone is not packed together. The staff in the "Emergency" Room on a Saturday don't move with any sense of urgency at all. Everyone walks incredibly slow and they're more interested in gossiping than helping people apparently. It took about 4 hours of waiting for them to prepare a room for my niece as she was severely dehydrated.

When a room became available an elderly lady was cleaning it very slowly as we waited on her to finish cleaning it. The lady who led us there didn't bother to help her or offer to find another room instead of waiting another 20 minutes. She seemed only willing to do the bare minimum. I was gonna help the lady clean myself after waiting 4 hours but luckily a gentleman offered us another room that was available.

All in all the people in the E.R. need to move with a sense of purpose when the place is full of ailing people who need help and they need to at least pretend like they care about people. They need to do more than just the bare minimum and help each other. Once my niece saw a doctor and was moved to the Pediatric area the nurses and doctors were much better in how they treated her. I appreciate their help in getting her back to hydrated but I hate that it was such a nightmare in getting to that point. McLeod really needs to look at how things are done at hospitals like the Greenville Memorial Hospital. The experience there was the complete opposite. Learn from these reviews McLeod and get better.

This place is the worst hospital I ve ever seen in my life urine on the waiting room floor for hours dirty floors. No organization what so ever. Cardiac patients waiting in the lobby while drawing blood. I waited six hours to have blood drawn another two hours to see a doctor. Pathetic sh!t hole. If I were dying I would not go back

All the Nurses were great, gave gift certificates to a couple. Doctors need more training on keeping nurses and families informed on the patients. No one knew anything about family member till I called administration. My mother said she had not had that much attention the whole week she was there.

Came today for dad to have surgery. Were told of course that only one person was allowed to go back in the holding room. Once they came and took him back for surgery myself, my mom, and my sister were escorted to a different waiting area where we were told we would wait until he came out of surgery. After being in the waiting area for over an hour we were told to leave because only one could be inside. I understand their reasons for the limitations on guest because of the virus that is going around but there could be better communication from the beginning. Now our mom is in the waiting area alone.

I normally love this hospital, but it seems as though their ER has been extremely understaffed as of late. We had a miscarriage in their ER and it was 7-8 hours before we were even taken back. Now my grandmother has fallen and we are in the same situation. Maybe I am missing something but I just think that a top notch facility like this would have better staffing.

I had a heart attack 2 days after Christmas in 201...

I had a heart attack 2 days after Christmas in 2017 I had a 100 percent blockage and needed two stents. While I was recovering they found lung cancer I have been operated on tumor was removed and three lymph nodes . Which two came back positive for cancer so I had chemo and radiation I could never say enough to say how much the cancer center means to me. The Doctors, nurses, and everyone that has helped me through this scary time in my life. They all treated me with care and genuine compassion and the follow up is just amazing. My Surgeon does my ct scans and watches me for anything that pops up he is the best Doctor and an amazing human being. My radiation oncologist and medical oncologist are two of the best Doctors at what they do, they helped me through the treatments and have stayed by my side from start to finish and are still watching over me.And now for the nurses at McLoed they are some of the best nurses that you will ever find the cancer center nurses are the most hard working and compassionate ladies ever. I have had a lot of complications from the treatments I have had done, so I have come in contact with a great deal of different nurses there and I can tell you this they all are top notch and the best at what they do. And they are a very big reason this hospital is the great hospital that it is. Thank you McLoed you guys saved my life and may God bless each and everyone of you wonderful folks. And to the Cancer Center coordinator Tarra she is the best she has been with me through this ordeal from start she is a wonderful lady caring, compassionate and she is very good at her job. Thank you to all the folks at McLoed you are the best.

My deceased husband and I were patients at McLeod many, many times. We NEVER had a bad experience. They have always been my choice...my only hospital. The staff are absolutely wonderful, as well as the physicians. I cannot say enough about Dr. McKay, Dr. Pavy, and Dr. Player. They are wonderful and compassionate. I have read the other reviews, and I cannot believe that people had that experience. All I can say is that it is definitely not typical of this hospital, and if you are in need of great medical attention, then you should choose McLeod in Florence.

This would have been a perfect visit, except for Dr. Debra L. Wheeler, who refused me my ARV's. Otherwise, my nurse Alyssia and my nurse tech, Lindsey were spectacular. They were very attentive to my needs and my care. Unfortunately, one person can make an awesome experience, terrible. And as long as Debra Wheeler is an employee here, I will not step foot in this hospital. I'll go to PrismaHealth/Richland first. But if she wasn't here, or if she'd just approved my meds, like her shift replacement did, I would have given this hospital 5 stars.

McLeod Health is a scam. There is NO OVERSIGHT! ...

McLeod Health is a scam. There is NO OVERSIGHT! There is NO ACCOUNTABILITY! There is NO COMPASSIONATE CARE!

McLeod Health has shown me time and again that they don't care about their patients! McLeod Health has shown me that they don't care about the actions of their doctors!

If you have a complaint about treatment at McLeod, they DO NOT want to hear it! Why would they? It's a good ol' boy system, one of the most insidious types. McLeod Health employees are treated like royalty when they are sick and see McLeod physicians, but the rest of us are treated like garbage.

McLeod employees can misread easily interpreted tests and still keep their jobs! McLeod doctors can ignore ordering relevant and life saving procedures and tests and still keep their jobs!

How many people have to suffer at the hands of incompetent McLeod doctors before a system of oversight and accountability is installed?

McLeod will throw your account to the wolves of collection agencies without a second thought, yet they bristle at the notion that their physicians are incompetent and haven't earned their money.

They don't want to hear complaints and won't take you seriously no matter the case!

It is currently 6 am and I have been here since midnight. We have been waiting on a wound to be cleaned and bandaged for over an hour. The actually procedure should only take a few minutes. My fathers pain level was at a 10 when we came in and we still waited in the waiting room until 4am. The nurses and staff have been nice enough, but the lack of urgency has been terrible.

I had an appointment with Dr. Fanelli (McLeod Dermatology Associates) this month. I called the day before my appointment to confirm the time. I was shocked when I got the office voicemail stating that the office had closed down in February! Honestly, it wasn t that the office was closed, it was that they never called to notify me. I would have driven almost an hour to get to their office. A courtesy call would have been professional.

So, my mother is passing in the hospital and the hospital only allows one visitor for the duration of the time she is in the hospital. So being that her husband was her first visitor, none of her children (myself included) can visit her. She wants us to visit, but the hospital won t allow us.

With the recent release from the CDC only 6% of patient died Soley from COVID. So to stop people visiting their dying family members and to allow people to die alone and afraid, without family is not only wrong but inhumane.

Going to the hospital is never fun, but the doctors and especially the nurses who cared for me during a 4 day stay here were AMAZING. From the ER to the Progressive ICU and the related people I dealt with, I would definitely recommend McLeod Regional Medical Center over any other hospital in the area.

Money hungry hospital. Just wants to use up your insurance, having done nothing for you. Ridiculous. Even if you were holding your head in your hands it would take 10 hrs for someone to see you. Worst place to be sick in. The rude staff makes it no better. I'd rather drive two hours to another hospital, than to put up with McLeod.

I would not recommend this place to the dead. My grandson got worse after being there for 24 hrs. We asked to have him transferred to another hospital and they refused to sign the paper even refused to release him. They decided to get a allergy specialist in and not one time did he look at my grandsons body but wanted to diagnose him. After so many complaints we finally got him released after being there for 2 1/2 days. As soon as we got him out of there we rushed him straight to Columbia palmetto for children and we finally got the help he needed. If did not get him to Columbia my grandson would have died.

This is just sad.... Family member is in for mental health, I was in the back with that person, came out, now I'm not allowed to go back to that person after sitting with them for over 3 hours. The staff are all ride, people who Need to be seen aren't being seen and it's sad and pathetic service. I won't even comment on the 'cleaness' of this whole place. I'm extremely dissatisfied with all of these people and this place.

My great aunt fell down the stairs at her house and we rushed her here. She had a hole in her intestines and her kidney's failed. Even her lungs collapsed. She was put on a machine that breathed for her. The nurses were hard to find and when you found them they were sitting around talking. They clearly did not know what they were doing. One day they took out the tube that gets her to breathe. We came to see her and she was struggling to breathe. We asked the nurses to come help her and they said "It was normal". Around twenty minutes later she coded and had to be resuscitated using CPR. This cycle repeated 3 times. She died three times. There is no excuse for this. I hope my great Uncle sues the pants off of everyone in that building. We had to transfer her because y'all could not do your jobs. Then we were told she had brain damage. Then one nurse told us she didn't. This cycle repeated 2 times until we were finally told she didn't. It's so sad to have such a nice building with worthless nurses and doctors. The only thing I found satisfactory was the Starbucks.

I have had so many problems at this hospital I don't know where to start. The biggest was the death of my father who went in for routine gall bladder operation and ended up dying due to the neglegience of so many people. His cardiologist, surgeon and the nurses. Since there is limited space what actually ended up killing him was being sent home with orders that only said see you DR in 2 weeks. When we got him home on Easter Sunday he aked where his oxygen was, we didn't know what he was talking about, and I couldn't get anyone on the phone that knew, on Monday at being on the phone for hours I find out before he came home Home Health should have been there and set up not just oxygen, but a hospital bed, walker, porta potty, etc, we did not get all this in place until 8:30pm, he went over 36hrs without the oxygen he needed, at 7:30pm on Tuesday he died in the ER.There is much more to this story but just let me caution you do not leave your loved one alone for a sec and question everything they do, look at the paperwork before you go home if something doesn't seem right ask about it. My dad was not given the care that McLeod loves to boast about in their pretty little glossy magazine, there are no smiling Drs. and very few smiling nurses, I wish everyday my mother would have sued that hospital but my family are just not that tyoe of people and she didn't feel she could go through something like that, it is a shame that this hospital gets away with all the unethical, illegal, fraud that they do.I will submit another post to explain my meaning behind that.

My son is in the emergency room now and in a lot of pain. The nurses he has are so nasty and rude, I wish I knew there names. They also have the security guards in their corner when he begging for medicine for pain, and they are taking their time and refusing to help him. This is so disappointing. I never had an experience like this at this hospital.

When we first arrived, nurse Hope was great! She made sure my mom got back to a room so they could start running test. She even came back to check on my mom! Very sweet and caring nurse. You can tell nurse Hope cares for the patients and isn t just there to be there. However, once we got back. The doctor seemed to take his time with every single thing. No one had an update for us until 12:30AM and we got there around 6:30-7PM. Jessica the nurse was very unprofessional and seemed as if she did not understand none of our questions. She NEVER came in the room with an update. Even though they have a sign that states one of our staff members will be in every hour to update you on your progress. We had to ask other nurses on the floor for an update. The first time Jessica even stated I won t know nothing. You all will know something before I ever will. Why would anybody say this to a patient? Just very unprofessional and seemed as if she did not care. You mean to tell me you don t chart notes for your patient the entire time your patient is there? The room and hospital was very dirty. It just seemed as if no one cared. Jessica even bought in a dirty cart to do my mother s blood work. It had someone else previous blood work on the cart. Jessica also was very slow with answering our questions. She also just seemed to just be there. But never was she attentive to her patient nor my mom questions and or concerns. I even asked to speak the director and she never gave me her information nor informed the lady. Being that I work in the field, I was very upset with the care my mom received from the time she got an room until her discharge. I would not recommend this hospital for any type of care at all. This was my mom third time going to this ER within the same week! And hopefully this time she has the right answers so she can start her recovery.

I am 69 years old and this was the first time I have ever spent more than a few hours night (2 nights) in a hospital. The professionalism of the staff was very impressive. The facilities were first class. Follow up was very personal and attentive to my recovery status.

I would recommend anyone who seeks a state of the art, ,caring and trustworthy medical facility to go to McLeod.

Special thanks to McLeod Family Medicine and Doctor Jason Heilemann for starting the detective trail to finding the root cause of my medical condition.

Last night, 3/23/2013, we spent almost 12 hours at McLeod ER. We arrived at 6 pm, waited 7 hrs to be seen. We watched countless people who did not seem to have any illness go in and out all night. When we asked the registration lady what was taking so long she told me that since we had a more urgent illness we required to be seen by a doctor instead of the nurse practitioner like the other people we had been seeing go in and out. I've never been to an ER where they take the less urgent ppl back first just because they can be seen quicker. That was the stupidest thing I'd ever heard. Well as we waited a few more hours my father in law (who we were there with) started having symptoms that were worse and more frequent than when we had arrived. I asked the lady again if he could revisit the triage nurse because of this. The nurse came over and asked what was wrong, said she would find out how much longer it would be and NEVER came back. 3 hours later another lady came to check on us and my father in law asked her again how much longer and she rudely told him "You were already told its because you have to see a dr" and stomped off. The rest of our wait time we watched through the glass as these ladies sat on their butts point at my father in law and whispering to each other, which is rude and unprofessional. When he was finally taken back at 1 am he was put in this ittty bitty room and it was FREEZING in there. I went out and asked the nurse for a blanket and when i went to go back into the room i heard her behind my back "these people need to make up their minds hot then cold then hot then cold" at this point i had to fight the urge to slap the woman. The dr came around an hr later (she was great, nice change) when she left she sent the nurse in to do discharge, it took them 2.5 hrs to bring in discharge papers. I know they weren't waiting on anything like lab results and such because out of the drs mouth she already had all that information and she told me discharge shouldn't take more than 30 minutes. Also while we were waiting on the dr to come I went and got my family some dinner since we'd been waiting so long and when I came back the registration lady hit me up for some of the food i brought back. Majority of the people we came into contact with were very rude and unprofessional and the level of care was sooooo ridiculous. I imagine if you were there for no serious reason you'd be ok but I would NEVER go back with anything that could be life threatening. Also just for the record my father in law symptoms were very much in line with a possible stroke. And we still waited 7 hrs to see someone.

Emergency room waits times are aweful, that is the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars. When using the E.R. they normally swamped and it takes 3-6 hours to been put in a room unless you are in there for a life threatening reason. Even by ambulance for car accidents, if you are not dying you will have to wait what seems like an eternity. The staff on the other hand are professional, nice, and they try to empathize.

McLeod in Dillon is great. Great nurses and Dr Oden is the best. HOWEVER, I was admitted to McLeod Florence ICU for a head injury in late January of 17, after being cleared for release by neurologist, cardiologist, and pt Dr Lawsin and Dr Goduru refused to let me go. Without a judge's order to hold me there they ordered armed guards to forcibly confiscate my prosthetic leg braces, walking cane, clothes, and cell phone to prevent me from leaving or calling for assistance from friends and family or the police. I demanded to be released every day for over a week to no avail. For reasons unknown to me they finally returned my belongings and allowed me to leave on February 9th with no explanation. It was a horrible experience I will never be able to forget.

This is by far the worst Emergency room I've EVER been too. I was taken by ambulance here and they took me off the stretcher and left me in the waiting room, covered in glass, eye and head bleeding and I m shaking. They leave me by myself in a wheel chair in the corner with a neck brace on. It took my aunt to say something to nurses to even get me changed out of my clothes as everyone ignore me. SECOND experience was tonight. Brought a friend in at 5 pm and we re just leave at 1:15 AM. We waited for a PEE TEST! People that came before us, left earlier than we did. They said we where waiting on a doctor and they ended up just coming out with discharge papers. I will NEVER recommend this emergency room to anyone. You re better off taking the extra mile to Kershaw. Nurses where rude and nonchalant.

I don't care if I would die on the way to any other hospital. I would love to see this place be destroyed and put out of commission.

I have read some of these reviews, and i might say, some were kind of harsh and maybe well deserved , but i have been there 3 times in two weeks and all i saw was the opposite of the remarks. Everyone was as nice as they could be. Only problem i had and this is the reason i dont give it a 5 is, i have two broken feet and cant use anyone of them until whenever, but in the pickup area there were at least 4 if not 5 grown men standing there that parks your cars for you, just stood there and watched my wife and granddaughter struggle so hard to side me on a board into the car and not one offered to help them. That was very sad. Maybe they work off tips. But even a no worker if they are any kind of man would have at least offered to help.

My son was transferred here in critical condition from an ER. As soon as we got here the Stroke Unit got him stabilized. They took excellent care of him. When he was later put in a regular room, he also received wonderful care. Every doctor, nurse, tech, and therapist that took care of him were amazing. This will be the only hospital we take him to for now on.

Take my advice stay clear of McLeod! Especially ER Dr. James. I think she must have gotten her degree from some remote island. Example of the ER, I was struck by a semi truck and these dumdasses MISSED a broken vertebrae in my back and neck. Surgery to the tune of nearly $250,000 at a hospital in Atlanta. Dr. James was not attending that day but miss diagnosed problems my wife was having. WTF!

Every room in the emergency room is disgusting! No one in the emergency helps the patient. Nurses do not follow up with patient! You have to keep bugging the nurse station. Worse hospital ever! Hospitals up North should come down and train these folks.

Er doctors and nurses are rude they don't do their job correctly they make you wait hours and hours wouldn't be coming back here ever again they are very racist also the little nurses come into the intake room and get our blankets and give to a white patient and my mom was cold and there was no way for my mom to warm up. We waited 2 1/2 hrs to get a room the the doctor said she couldn't deal with my daughter's situation right now, so they sent us back to the waiting room, so family, we had to go through a different door to get to the back to where there were no rooms over just curtains covering the bed, the whole time at the hospital took 5 hours, my daughter had a virus. But nothing back took surgery or anything, so why will we meet y'all for 5 hours, things to make it so bad, I had just got off of work before I brought her to the hospital, so I was exhausted, we were in the back, my daughter was sleeping in the bed, I slept next to her and after they took blood and her urine they made us get come from out of the back and into the waiting area again, we were the only patient, my daughter was the only patient they did like that, very unprofessional, very inconsiderate. And ridiculous long wait
not to mention the hospital has dirty floors the walls are dirty everything is old the bed linen was dirty not the bed we laid in but the bed they ask her to take her blood pressure in I will never go back to this hospital as long as I can help it

I must encourage everyone who reads this review to avoid McLeod Gastro and the criminally incompetent, sorry excuse for a physician named John Wolford. Not only is he a useless human being and doctor who doesn t order relevant tests because he thinks he can diagnose without relevant data, but his staff is also criminally incompetent and can t read basic test results that have been summarized by other professionals!

The might be some decent doctors at McLeod. However, the criminally incompetent gastroenterologists there do more harm than all the collective good of the others combined.

McLeod doesnt care. There is NO OVERSIGHT of doctors. If you have an issue with a doctor, they don t care and don't want to hear it. The administration doesnt care if their doctors are criminally incompetent.

If McLeod truly cares about how their doctors treat people, they would send in folks to "play" patients in their system. Experience what the rest of us go through.

PS, avoid scam artist and quack "doctor" John Wolford with every fiber of your being. He and his staff are dangerously and criminally incompetent.

A doctor's staff can make a good doctor look very bad. My experience with them today was horrible. The appointment my mother had since October had been canceled
or not set up and apparently no there thought we needed to know that information. So we made the hour trip to be there at 8:15am only to be told that she didn't have her schedule for a procedure today. If someone at the doctor office would have only return I e of my 3 phone call yesterday this whole issue could have been avoided. You know maybe the need to learn this word COMMUNICATION. If there was that, there would no issue.

My mother went in at 1:30 am with a gash on her head from a fall out of her bed. It took nearly 6 hours before she was attended by an ER doctor. The first nurse that attended her did not seem to know what she was doing and was always calling on another nurse to help her with little things like taking blood pressure and changing g a diaper. The room was filthy with trash on the floor and the trash can was overflowing. Needless to say we were SO disappointed!

this is the worst hospital ever. friend was recently brought in for od ing on pills and possible alcohol poisoning. the "doctor " didn't even examine her. I swear. they drew no blood. didn't test her levels. they hooked her up to an iv for 1/2 hour and told her to go . she was clearly under the influence. isn't it illegal to allow someone to leave in that condition ? oh yes...and the doctor said we don't have time to get you into detox .
