Alex from Mcleod Auto Sale was an awesome salesmen he tries really hard for you but upper management is horrible, Clark the Customer Relations Manager called me asking me to give them another chance so I did and he told me he would sweeten the deal which was a complete lie. He doesn't keep his word and has no businesses being in that position. The whole upper management needs to be removed or retrained. While I was there for over four hours another customer cursed out another manager for not being honest. They don't even know what's on their website so don't fill anything out on their it does no matter they just try to screw you over. I will never go back and I will never tell anyone to purchase a vehicle from there. I have proof of what they did and I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Ray was very courteous and patient with my partner and I the entire time. He gave us more than expected for our trade in and got us into a vehicle before the end of of day. Although my attitude might not have been what he wanted to deal with, he remained calm and professional with me and I am grateful. Definitely will come back.
We bought a truck July 3,2017. It is now May 20,2019. Less then 2 years we have had this truck and now it is completely done. No foul play on us it was just used to get from A to B. I can say a whole lot but all I will say is if you plan on buying a vehicle here you might want to pay attention to every detail of your warranty....if it's first extended warranty please open up your eyes and read through it all. Especially in regards to overheating and anything about your engine. Otherwise you'll be told just like us $11,000 to fix it out of your own pocket. As a Veteran as well as my husband I want my fellow military buddies to be careful because this is right outside of post and I don't want to see young Joes or anybody getting bent over.
Here at McLeod Auto and I'm so glad I came in today. I got a new car for my family and had the best experience with my sales gal, Morgan. She is so loving and great to talk to. I cannot recommend this dealership enough! Absolutely ask for James Hensley when you go. I went into this experience with low expectations due to myself having almost no credit, and my husband having very very poor credit. We have never had a better experience at a car dealership. He treated us like he genuinely cared about us and did everything he could to get us into a safe car for our family.

They make so many claims about if you make over 350.00 a week they guarantee to get you in a vehicle. Then you go down there and they run your credit with diffrent companies which shows up as hard inquiries on your credit. They waste your time, ask for a very high down payment. I think this place is trash. I do not recommend them to anyone. They are Just another predatory company. If you can afford 5000 for there down payment you might as well buy a used car. you would have a paid off car and not deal with shady dealers.

I came to McLeod auto sales looking to bye a mazda speed 3 , timothy wright helped me find the car of my dreams. I didnt realize that i was in over my head and McLeod auto sales was respectful enough to take the vehicle back and save me a lot of debt. i really appreciate what they did for me.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I purchased a car from them over a year ago, and am still fixing it! I'm writing this now because a new problem I have to fix is the ENTIRE wiring harness, thus forcing me to re-wire the ENTIRE car. At this point I could've bought a new car for what I've spent repairing it. Let me tell you a little story: I went to this dealer and found (what I thought) was the exact car I wanted for a reasonable price. For starters, their mechanics and dealers know nothing about cars - I got it with less than 25% of needed oil, 0 washer fluid, 0 transmission fluid, nearly 0 brake fluid, and the tires were so dry-rotted that they were actually falling apart when I drove it home - they also cannot even tell if it is modified! Two weeks later the engine blew up and the gear box fell apart because of the sheer number of modifications. I called them asking what the deal was, and their response was "It was labelled as is, too bad" and just hung up. Well after that, I called the BBB and left a nasty complaint. With the BBB acting as a "messenger" of sorts, they decided it would go to arbitration since it was going nowhere. NOW, this is where it gets entertaining. When you purchase a vehicle from McLeod, they have you sign a contract stating that instead of going to court, any issues will be settled via arbitration. McLeod cancelled the designated arbitration time twice the day of! I had to actually threaten them with my attorney just to get them to talk. So instead of arbitration (which they decided to waive and ultimately gave me the right to take them to court), our attorneys acted on behalf of negotiations. When I put together the paperwork proving that I had been duped, and that the car I received was not even the car that was advertised, McLeod responded by saying they would drag their feet to the point I'd pay more in court and legal fees than I would ever get from them. So my attorney then advised I take the settlement which was less than 5% of my repair costs. Now, I cannot tell you the total amount I received because I am bound by law not to divulge that information; BUT, what I can tell you is that they tried to place a "gag order" on me, thus preventing me from informing you all about my experience with them. Another thing is DO NOT take their BBB rating for what it is. Another thing they do with their settlements is to legally require the person filing a complaint with them to inform the BBB that any issues have been satisfactorily resolved, and that it was done in an A+ manner. Another thing they do is drag their feet to the point the BBB considers it resolved. McLeod stated in the back-and-forth that they wanted to reach me personally and fix things. When I responded that if given a phone number, I will listen to them and hear them out. The BBB, after this, assumed it was resolved and after two weeks of hearing absolutely nothing from McLeod, I had to begin the whole process over again.
So I hope my little experience has persuaded all of you to NEVER even give these people your interest in anything they have. They will tell you whatever you want to hear and flat out lie in order to make a sale. Thank you, and I wish you luck in finding the car you want.
The mechanics don't seem to be very knowledgeable on diesels. They don't go through the proper process looking over vehicles. I wouldn't trust getting a vehicle from them if they hire mechanics who don't know how to do their job.

I had been looking for the perfect truck for a few weeks when I stumbled upon a 2015 Ford F-150 Lariat Edition at McLeod Auto Sales. It was in great condition and had everything I was looking for! Despite being in a situation that prevented me from visiting the dealership in person, I was able to work with an amazing group of women who helped me from start to finish. Sierra, Emily, Jakia, and of course Kaila were vital to having such an amazing experience. They went above and beyond to get me in the truck I wanted in just a few hours. Kaila was the only team member I got to meet in person and it was refreshing dealing with someone who had such a positive attitude compared to past experiences with other dealerships! She made sure I understood everything thoroughly and that I had everything I needed. A big thank you to these ladies for all their hard work!
I went to look at a vehicle yesterday and got a purchase agreement from the salesman. I was told that my credit would not be checked by them since I was not using their financing. I received an email later in the day saying that McLeod Auto Sales has checked my credit. When I called the salesman gave me a sorry excuse about a mistake in the finance department. Whether the mistake was with the salesman or the finance department is irrelevant; to me is is deceitful and bad business. I will not be doing business with them.
This is an amazing dealership and I most definitely recommend Morgan as your sales rep. These people really care about educating you on your credit and how to improve it. They give their best effort to get you into what you want and they treat you like family in here! Jay, the general sales manager is amazing and again, Morgan is just the best! My boyfriend got me my car back in March, everything was fine until it came to maintenance on my car ! I have had nothing but issues getting my car serviced with McLeod ! I doordash so I have to get oil changes more frequently and it s a problem every single time ! I called a week or two in advance always say I m going to get a callback and never do . You re better off getting your car serviced somewhere else because they will never get back to you due to being understaffed .

If I could give zero stars, I would. I ve heard great things about McLeod in the past and I am disappointed at the service my boyfriend and I received. We sat for 15 minutes without anyone asking if we had been helped. They had been calling my boyfriend to make an appointment before today. He decided to come in with the intention of purchasing a vehicle. He called while we were in store. We were told someone would be over to help us. STILL, no one even asked if we had been helped. We went outside and still no one came. We left disappointed and I was told by a manager that there was nothing he could do. We will not be returning.
We were looking to replace my wife's aging car, we heard their commercial during a recent trip to Waco and I gave them a call. I called them on Friday evening and wanted the approval process to be completed and approved before we went to the lot as we live 2 hours away. I get a call Saturday morning that the approval was complete so we drove down. We were greeted at the door by Stephanie, and she was AWESOME. My wife was not sure what she wanted but Stephanie was patient and let her test drive multiple vehicles. When we finally decided on what car we wanted the process was quick. We got to the lot a 330 and were headed back to Waxahachie by 515. Stephanie and the whole staff at McCleod were awesome every step of the way. it is probably one of the most disappointing expereinces i have evver had, 6k down, the dime down promotion is a scam you probably need a 700+ credit score to qualify for that, i make 500 a week and i still needed 6k down? i guess making 350 or more a week means nothing
Ok service and poor advertising. "Its a crime to pay more than a dime" was transformed into a $1500 down payment with little explanation as to why. As for the people they were mostly friendly but the "doorervice" was lacking.
Steven was awesome and helped with the issues with my vehicle. He fixed multiple issues that I had concerns with and was very helpful. I can respect that and hope to continue the relationship with service. Reuben was very nice, cool, and professional as well. Thank you.
