Was looking forward to purchasing Holiday ornaments, but they were out of stock. I received two separate emails informing me the ornaments were back, but when I went to buy them they were not there. Finally I returned to the website on a whim, and I found the ornaments were available for purchase. I was really excited! I wish the algorithm contacting customers was more aligned with actual item availability. Thanks McGee & Co for having super cute Christmas decorations.

I went to the McGee and Co Warehouse Sale last weekend and had such a blast. I couldn t believe how much designer product they had at incredible prices. I can t wait to go again! Going to bring all my girlfriends next time. Truly love shopping with these guys, even online. Their Customer Service is truly amazing. Every person I ve spoken with is always so patient and kind. One time I had a damaged planter arrive so I called and they immediately coordinated a replacement that I received just days later. Amazing! If you ever call in, ask for Anne, her laugh will make your day.

Customer services is amazing. I had a question and they responded within the minute. I wish that so many things weren t out of stock though. It s my first time going on this website (which I found through Pinterest), so I m not sure if it s due to the pandemic or if they normally are low on stock. I love McGee & Co so this review saddens me to write. This only pertains to the gift card process but it s really confusing where there s no pretty aesthetic or presentation to it and it s sent to the buyer to then have to forward it on to the recipient. It s an awkward way to receive a high end gift card. The process and delivery needs to be improved before I purchase one again!

They have been nothing but professional, understanding, and totally accommodating...and everything has been handled to my complete satisfaction. Because I love their products AND I know I will be taken care of as a customer, I will continue to give them my business. :)

Suggestion: Once the shopper adds an item to the cart, do not make the shopping experience screen go all the way back to the top of the page of items on the mobile site. This makes us have to scroll down over and over again back to where we left off to continue shopping.

Is been good, struggle to get good customer support through chat. Trying to order rug samples and I could not get help. Confusing on the website. You would think each rug as a size option would give you a sample option. No. I missed out on the fallreay promotion to order samples

We ordered 2 leather chairs in November of 2018 on Black Friday. The chairs were then placed on backorder numerous times. We finally received two chairs in May 2019 that were the wrong chairs. They were picked up and returned. Then in July they told me the chairs were ready for delivery- but only One chair arrived and it looks like only one chair was ever reordered. although it is beautiful and the correct chair, I am now 8 months out from my order with still only one chair in my family room. The amount of time and effort for deliveries and pickups- and communicating with the company- has been ridiculous. Unfortunately I will not be ordering from them again.

This company is pretty much a dream! They almost always answer Instagram questions, unlike any design firm, and give you their resources or direct you in the right direction.

The shop is absolutely fabulous! I have been several times and feel like Amanda and Julia have been my personal designers. They put their heart and soul into their job and are both sooo knowledgable. Never rushed and will guide you to what s best for your home. I got a Studio McGee home from following them on IG and getting their amazing advice from the store! Thank you so much Amanda and Julia! Like no other design firm and shop.

They are quick to respond with any questions, quick to take care of any packaged that arrived damaged, and offer quality products with loads of inspiration on their site. I m a big fan and will continue to purchase from them in the future!

I love the product and curation on this site, however it s very tedious and frustrating to click into product after product that is sold out. If you are going to keep them up at least offer a back order option or a filter for users to only view items they can actually BUY. I ve done the waitlist many times and even when I immediately click into the email to purchase the item is already unavailable again.

It makes the shopping experience on mobile kind of clunky.

I love love love the products and design of SM, and I ve been pleased with much of my purchases HOWEVER they need to tremendously work on accurate lead times on products, packaging items better as many have arrived damaged, politeness with their customer service personnel, and accuracy in items in the shipments.

I have had multiple shipments that have arrived damaged and/or incomplete. Then to get a replacement And/o the correct item shipped, I now have to wait ANOTHER 5 MONTHS!!! Which is absurd! If it s THEIR mistake, the customer shouldn t be punished. I should have first priority and others that ordered the same item after should be pushed further out.

I would love to continue to purchase items from this shop, as my wish list is growing to a substantial amount and we have already spent a fortune there, they just really need to work on the above issues and value their customers more!

Customer service needs an overhaul as does the shipping department. I have items I m still waiting on that I ve order over two months plus ago that have lead times of 3-4 weeks... with no shipping in sight or idea when they ll arrive.

It s disappointing especially when we ve spent so much! I m trying to find other alternative items to suite our additional rooms because the ship time is unreal for this company. Beautiful items, but the wait is horrible. They shouldn t charge people until the items are in transit like other high end furniture stores especially when spending in the 10 s of thousands.

Hoping my other items will arrive sometime this year and they figure out a way to ship non custom items much much quicker.

I love the style of McGee and Co. and have been following them on social media for awhile. A couple things that would making the website easier is to navigate is the ability to sort products based on price as well as offering free shipping, shipping promotionals or discounted rates. With amazon prime and almost every major store offering free shipping, the high rates on this site kept me from buying more.

I don t ever write negative reviews. I always feel like positive feedback should be shared publicly and negative feedback should be shared directly. But after 4 emails, 1 voicemail and 1 dropped customer service chat with no resolution in sight here s my honest feedback. I ordered a rug from McGee and Co and everything went great- order through delivery. The rug arrived via FedEx and it is beautiful. Imagine my surprise when a couple weeks later I received a bill from FedEx for the delivery. I had paid McGee for shipping when I ordered the rug. I contacted McGee right away with the notice and was told it would be taken care of. But the notices from FedEx kept coming. It s been over 2 months and today I received a notice from FedEx that they are turning the bill over to collections. I sent a chat to McGee and as soon as I sent the order number the chat was dropped. This experience has been so strange. I can not recommend ordering from here because if anything goes wrong - you may not receive any help whatsoever.

I m very disappointed that handling takes way longer than I would like - not even the shipping part. I placed the order on 10/21 but it wasn t dropped off at the carrier till 10/28! The items would have reached me by now if they had been delivered to mail carrier sooner. And I placed another order on 10/23 that I still don t have a shipping notification for. I m sorry to say but I will be looking for similar items to shop elsewhere. I am an influencer and I have a brand collaboration that I wanted to use these items in but I guess I d have to find replacements from somewhere else. Very disappointed!

I found McGee & Co. on Instagram and have to say they have some of the best customer service, and of course, home decor! I don't normally take the time to do this, but I will forever recommend them because of my experience with them. I had a shift in my process of buying a home and they were so understanding and helpful. I can't wait until next year, once my home is built, to actually fill my home with all things Mcgee & Co! Thank you!

2 stars because they design beautiful homewares, but their customer service is awful, and I'm not usually one to care so much about service. They never responded to an inquiry I sent about an order after several weeks, and then they shipped the incorrect item and never followed up to resolve it after I tried contacting them multiple times. I really love their products, but this has been frustrating enough to never order from them again.

While I truly do love McGee & Co. sometimes I have a hard time justifying buying things from your site as 80-90% of the time i find the EXACT same items on different sights for much less (Arhaus in particular.) This has happened twice after purchase and I honestly can t see the reason for that much of a markup... it just doesn t seem right.

Was a longtime fan and periodic customer until recently. I ordered a few side tables and an $1100 ottoman. The side tables were the first out for delivery and arrived to the distributor completely destroyed. I heard first from the distributor prior to McGee reaching out to call that they would be unable to complete the order. Upon trying to rectify with McGee, the tables were then backordered for 4 months so I opted to get a refund.

During this time I checked in on the status of the ottoman and was told it was prepped and should be out to the distributor for delivery any day. A month later and zero update I finally called and was told that it was backordered with an estimated delivery 2 months from now rounding out the total timeframe to 5 MONTHS.

I asked for 30% off in exchange for the headache and nearly half a year wait. They told me while they understand it's just not company policy and said no. At that point I asked for a refund.

Everyone on the phone was lovely but only to a superficial extent. When it came to fixing the issue to the point that I felt was worth the wait, time, and money they had no interest. Totally fine to agree to disagree - I just probably won't ever be a customer again. Actually not probably - definitely.

REPLY TO OWNER: You have completely missed the mark again. My primary issue is your inventory problem. To boil my frustration down to a road accident that was obviously outside everyone's control (and might I add something I would never hold against your company) is completely irrelevant to the main issue here. So I'll reiterate - I'm frustrated that items I ordered in JANUARY two months into the process became backordered until MAY. I'm frustrated I continually had to track down your customer service who in FEBRUARY disclosed incorrect information about the status of my order. I was lied to and told it was prepped for distribution and a month later told it was backordered with expected delivery MAY. Your apologies are empty and hold zero accountability for an inventory issue you made your customers problem. 5 months wait does not warrant a quality issue. And furthermore, apologizing and focusing the issue on a motor vehicle accident is cowardly.
