Nothing but an AWESOME experience here! We had been shopping for a travel trailer for a month and then decided to call McGeorge RV inquiring on one that we had seen on their website. I was immediately put in contact with one of their sales representatives by the name of Robbie Lyons. Robbie worked with me over the phone for a couple of days giving me the greatest Customer Service you could imagine over the phone even working with his staff to get the payments to where I needed them to be. However, I never made it in to follow through with the sale. Fast forward a couple weeks and I called Robbie back to make a appointment to come see the units in person. Robbie was just as great to deal with as he was the 1st moment we spoke on the phone. Usually by now the sales rep has lost patience with someone who didn't follow through the first time. Not Robbie! He showed us what he had in our price range(he had already sent them to me prior for me to have an idea.) He wasn't pushy, he knew what he had to offer and was just a genuine down to earth nice guy to work with. The entire staff there was very nice and welcoming. We left that day purchasing our very first Travel Trailer and WE LOVE IT!! The day we picked the trailer up Mike did a two hr orientation going over every single inch of the trailer education myself(a single mom), and my 14 & 7 year old boys how to operate the trailer. He had patience while I took notes and we asked plenty of questions. He genuinely wanted to know that we were comfortable with what we were purchasing. Then we met with a very nice man who installed the braking system and hitch on our SUV who was also excellent! He showed us how to hook and unhook our trailer up. He took time with my oldest son and again wanted to know that we felt good about what we were doing. Then we were teamed up with a Sales girl in the store who was also very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with! It has been a month since we purchased our TT and we took our first trip to the beach! We did fabulous without any problems at all! Thanks to these wonderful guys who helped educate us and were so great at doing it! Thank you Robbie, Mike, and the rest of the McGeorge RV Staff!!

Service is horrible. It takes months for parts and...

Service is horrible. It takes months for parts and no one will call you back. It seems like no one has any knowledge.
Our first unit we purchased had issues with the air and trim was falling off. The entire wall had to be reassembled. This took several months to repair. This was a brand new unit. We just figured we had purchased a lemon and decided to give it another shot. So We purchased a new unit last August and did not receive a second set of keys and we were told that they would get us the set. They even said that they had found them and express mailed them. Needless to say, that never happened. It s almost been a year and we STILL do not have them. Also there s other issues going on with the unit that we have had to go back and forth to get straightened out, to get there and find out the incorrect parts were ordered! We live over 2 hours away. Signed STILL waiting!!!!

Was promised on 11/29/19 my camper that was in service would be ready for p/u on 12/06/19 after 8 weeks of waiting for warranty work I go to pick it up and nothing had been fixed not a happy camper at all their service manager says it will be ready tuesday we shall c will update tuesday well went back on Tuesday and it was done corporate made it right by sending me a gift card this might be a decent place if they fix the internal communication problem between the service advisors and the service techs

Miraculous 5 star service from Rodney!!! I walked in not knowing much about what I was looking for and Rodney was both informative and patient during the entire process. I cannot thank him and the entire staff there for making our visit as simple and worry free as possible. This place truly is a gem with it all. Tim in Finance is a sharp and as helpful as they come. I couldn't have asked for a better team!

Great bunch of folks. My wife and I went in looking for more information on class B+ RVs. While they were pretty much decimated for RVs due to what is currently going on, they were more then happy to show us what they had and give us more information on what they didn't. Will happily go back once things calm down.

We had so hoped that the affiliation with Camping World would have improved the service department but my experience today does not reflect that. I arrived soon after opening to try to schedule a simple hitch adjustment having bought a larger towing vehicle. I was met at the service counter with a cold stare - no greeting. I posed my question to which the response was "it will be a while." I asked for clarification and without referring to a calendar or schedule of any sort, was told "it will be about a month." No worries though, Southern RV can get me in next week and assured me that it is only about a 30 minute process. I can't say enough about Southern RV's sales and service. I only contacted McGeorge because they are almost at my back door. It will never happen again, and, please don't bother with the canned response asking me to contact you with more details about my experience. Enough said.

Took my travel trailer in for its first inspection...

Took my travel trailer in for its first inspection. I was told that it failed inspection because the safety needed to welded to the frame. What boggles my mind is that the trailer was purchased from them and left the same exact way from the manufacture.
People told me to not bring my trailer there for anything because of their bad experience BUT I didn't listen and l tried to give them a chance. However I learned the hard way and wasted time.
Long story short, I took my travel trailer to another RV dealer and it passed with flying colors. I also found out that the safety chains is NOT supposed to be welded to the frame.

We are from PA and stopped in on our way to Richmond to visit our sons before heading to the Outer Banks. We have an older Winnebago that we've been talking about possibly selling and we wanted to see what used models they had and what prices we would be looking at. We were Very Happy with Mark and the way he talked and listened to us. He also was knowledgeable and wanted to see what we liked and disliked.
We did not find anything that excited us enough to talk numbers.
The downside to our visit was 'the bosses'. It seemed that Mark had to check in with them before taking us out, as soon as we got back and again before we were allowed to leave. I almost got the impression that if we did talk numbers we wouldn't be able to leave until we bought or passed out from exhaustion. I'm not saying I won't go back, but I am very wary about what a buying experience might entail.

I made a appointment with Robbie Lyons and he was fantastic. He allowed my two Newfies to walk the lot with us and go inside the RV s to check if they would be comfortable inside. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend McGeorges RV for any size mobile home. The walk thru went well with Mark also.

I have never had a more smooth and competent experience when discussing such a large purchase. She was patient and knowledgeable. I can honestly say Cindy Harris is a one of a kind person and isn't in it just for the sale but making sure you are happy and satisfied with your family purchase!

We traveled 3.5 hours to look at an RV the sales person was a rock star. The manager on the other hand was absolutely rude and showed poor leadership when the price was being discussed. Our salesperson took our offer to the manager and came back and told us they accepted the offer. Then when he came down to discuss our decision he told us that they didn't agree on that price and was rude about it. Up to that point everything was on point. I almost feel like they were trying to pull some sort of bait and switch. I would also have them quote you the cost of their fees what we thought was reasonable price turned out to be a couple thousand dollars more with their added fees. Anyways, if you go here hopefully you won't have the same experience.

The level of customer service delivered is unparalleled. I felt so comfortable with Brittney, and she really helped me feel confident in my purchase. She was great to work with and very knowledgeable. 10 out of 10 will work with Brittney again for my next RV.

I walked into the rv show overwhelmed because , I didn't know if I wanted a class A or Fifth wheel. We met a superior sales manager named John Martin! He helped us match the RV to our family and we will now be RV owners. His customer service was impeccable! Thank you.

If you enjoy waiting and waiting and waiting for every little thing, this is the place for you! Like having your time wasted? Try McGeorge's! Do you appreciate being lied to face to face? Give McGeorge's a try!

Short story: They lied multiple times and tried to tell us that they put brand new tires on our rig when they clearly were not new (thank goodness I had taken a photos of the serial number and date). Be prepared to wait hours for any question or anything at all. When they tell you something is ready, just do your self a favor and wait a couple hours before actually going to pickup. Also, we have been waiting FOUR months for our title which was paid for in full. Everyone we spoke to was very kind despite multiple lies and being slower than a DMV.

Long story:
In February, we came in with a check knowing what we wanted and were willing and able to pay cash for it. We were shown three RVs-all above our explicitly stated budget. We negotiated for a bit (during which our salesman, who was very kind of course, went on break while we waited) and concluded at our price point with the stipulation that new front tires would be put on. Had to meet with finance ect although we paid in cash. It took SIX hours for these proceedings. We had to wait for every detail.

Pickup was scheduled a week and a half later and we called to ensure it was ready before driving two hours for pick up. When we arrived, we were told it was being washed and then would be ready. We waited almost two hours with our two children under 2 while it was being "washed". I inquired on the status and was assured it was almost done multiple times. There was another family there that had been waiting for almost three hours! I was reassured that the tires had just been replaced (they outsource this job) the day before.

The tires were NOT new!! Thank goodness I had taken pictures and could point out the DRY ROT on the tires because TWO people tried to convince us that they were new. It was dark outside so it could have been an easy sell. The rig had not been de-winterized, the carpet (which was supposed to have been cleaned) was filthy and other requests had not been met.
Our RV was delivered to our home the following day with new tires.
Two months later we received the promised radio.
It is FOUR months later and we have not received the title. It keeps getting "lost" or they have problems with the DMV. We were told they had to get in contact with the previous owners.
Overall, I'm giving two stars because they were nice while lying to us and we did get a fair price for a decent rig. I would NOT recommend McGeorge's unless you enjoy wasting time and have plenty of it to spare. Ridiculous.

Out with the family shopping for campers today, this was our destination. Couldn t see a way to drive around to look at them, looks like maybe you have to use a golf cart. We are a family of six including a baby and a child in a wheelchair- we can t use a golf cart. Nor could we walk through- deep gravel doesn t work with wheelchairs. When we go ask about it we get a shrug. Like tough luck. It s so disheartening that a company won t try to make accommodations for us to shop at their place of business. Disappointed and infuriated at the same time.

So, if possible or if you or someone in your party has a physical disability- SHOP ELSEWHERE.

At McGeorge's Rolling Hills I have experienced the most impressive customer service. A few months back while en route from Maine to Florida I located your business; I was towing an Aliner camper. I had been struggling with opening/setting it up and feared the springs were in need of a replacement. So without an appointment I headed straight to your service department.
I was promptly greeted and assisted, despite the fact the department was busy. I was helped by Art & Jarrell and both made me feel welcome and listened to my concerns. A technician (I missed his name but starts with a K) took responsibility of my camper and within 30 minutes he had addressed and corrected the problem! Couldn't believe it. He was VERY thorough and conscientious.
I cannot begin to tell you how relieved I was to have the problems fixed but I was also overwhelmed by the quality of service. Not only was everyone on the team courteous and professional, but the issues were resolved with a complete explanation for a reasonable charge! While my dogs and I waited, I made some purchases of various items I had not found elsewhere. It was a "win-win" for me!
I have friends in Va who I have shared this experience with, may my small efforts to promote your business be returned to you 100 times over!
The trip I had was not planned, I was responding to a family emergency. The care & service from McGeorge's certainly renewed my faith in human nature and American standards of customer service. I thank you greatly!!

My RV buying experience was a pleasure from start to finish. From the moment I walked through the door, I was treated with enthusiasm and respect. My ten year old daughter and I were greeted with a smile, and when Rose came to assist us it just got even better. Rose took the time to ask me questions about what I was looking for, and I appreciated not being pressured to consider things in which I was not interested. I looked at four RVs that all offered what i was looking for, and the one I ultimately chose was exactly what I had envisioned. The financing process was streamlined and easy, and when it was obvious we'd be there over the dinner hour Rose ordered us pizza and we enjoyed dinner with her right there at her desk. She showed interest in us as people, and not just a sale. I am also impressed that we get to attend a class on how to operate and care for our new RV rather than just driving it off the lot with no guidance. The post-sale perks and benefits of purchasing with them are numerous. I would definitely recommend Camping World for anyone in the market for an RV. I was with my 7 year old daughter. We went into ask a few service questions and also look at a new(er) pop up. The service guy, was EXCELLENT answering all of my questions.
Next we asked maybe 4 or 5 different sales men about looking at pop ups, one of them finally let me know I would need to see the ladies up front about getting a sales person to help us. After being contacted by an actual sales agent lady, she was beckoned by one of her higher ups basically came back and told us there were no pop ups to be viewed on the lot. If that was the case, then why waste my time or the sales lady.
VERY RUDE FOLKS. WAS CONTEMPLATING TAKING MY OLDER POP UP TO THEIR PLACE TO GET SOME SERVICE DONE BUT NOT AFTER WE WERE TREATED TODAY! It s like we didn t matter to them because we weren t looking to buy a new camper today!
HORRIBLE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

We had a great experience purchasing our new to us rv from Cindy. She spent time on the phone with me the day before to make sure all pricing was well explained before I made to over an hour drive to the dealership. Everything was as it should be on the camper when I went in for delivery and have not had any problems with the camper. I would highly recommend Cindy and Mcgeorges camping world to anyone in the market for a new or pre owned unit.

I bought a 2019 Coleman Light RL2605 with the outstanding help of Robert Petry back in Aug 2018. He did an outstanding job on listening to wife and me discuss what we were looking for, I think that is the best thing a salesperson can do is find out what the customer is wanting to have in their unit. Robert was able to match up our wants with a great trailer. It was a blast to have him as our salesperson.. If you are looking for a RV unit, ask for Robert. He even got the sales manager to the throw in a great portable BBQ grill that my wife wanted.
He is knowledgeable about RV specs, and features, that is important to have a salesman that can tell you about the various items in an RV. Great job from Robert Petry

Will never go back there again. The sales man was hurried and didn't have time for us at all. Our limit was $20000 so I believe we didn't have enough to interest him. In addition, this place was purchased by Camping World and the owner, to his possible demise, spoke of his political views. In other words he hates Trump and the republican party. If I had of known that McGeorge had been bought out by then I would never have stopped there.

The entire process from researching to purchasing ...

The entire process from researching to purchasing was incredibly smooth and quick. I already knew what I wanted to purchase, but had a couple of questions I needed answered before I made the drive into the dealership.

Austin, in the internet team, was very kind and ran out to the specific camper multiple times to verify certain features on this and was very quick about providing me this information.

When I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted by Cody who was extremely knowledgeable about the Geo Pros and knew I was in the right hands. The first thing he did was verify my towing capacity to make sure I would be safely towing it. Not a single other dealership bothered to do this.

Financing was a breeze as well. I can't remember the gentleman's name, but he was very respectful and didn't make me feel uncomfortable like at a car dealership.

Lastly, when I came in to pick it up, the camper was all ready, lights on, A/C running, ready to take home.

It could not have been a better experience. Thank you McGeorge!

I would leave zero stars if I could, the five star reviews below me are without a doubt paid for. This place is literally the WORST. They've had my trailer for FOUR months and have done nothing to it! I've missed two paid for trips. All my calls are screened, they never answer or call me back. They allowed the inline water filter and toilet to freeze and break and now I have to pay for those repairs on top of what it was originally there for. Once they actually give me my trailer back you couldn't pay me to ever bring it back here, they just literally don't care.

It took several tries to get a service appt at this location. The height of the season and they're extremely busy. So appointmentsts are arranged according to severity of problem. That method kind of sucks. We're all paying to get things serviced. Submitted a request for service online have yet to hear back. I drove to the location to put in my service appt in person. Why even have an online submission if it's not acknowledged. Other than that it's a spacious clean storewith plenty of itwms available for purchase.

Bought a used TravelStar and our salesman,Taz, was great. Helped us in all ways. We've been camping several times and can't wait to go again. Unfortunately, the camper is currently in for some service and we are having some issues with the service department. Hopefully, we will get that straight very soon.

Cindy, our sales associate, was great. Wished all of our interactions had been solely with her. The hitch guy was also great and did a superb job of installation and explanation. These are the only two people we needed for our purchase.

The finance guy was a pain. Nobody likes an insurance salesman. Just a waste of everyone's time. The delivery walk through could have been skipped as only a 70% level of effort and coverage was delivered. I had to just read the manuals and hit the internet to get good information on the remaining 30%. He also left most of the compartments open, etc. so it was good that I did a thorough walk around securing them before I pulled away with the new trailer as it was raining that day.

Bottom line is, they are employing about twice as many people as they need to provide good service. And, it is hurting their service!

The service department is the worst I ve ever experienced, with ANY service department. They ve now had my RV for 7 months. 7! No one will call me back, I get put on hold for well over 20 minutes, and when I do get in touch with someone they blow me off. I ve tried reaching out to the general manager after leaving at least 5 messages, but she has never called me back and is always in a meeting . Literally, I ve called at least 50 times and I still get no where. My RV has been with them almost longer than I ve owned it, half my basic repairs are still ongoing, and I ve had to cancel two RV trips because I have NO RV. I live two hours away, but I m ready to drive up there and pull it off the lot and raise hell. The thing is though...no one even cares. I know I m wasting my breath. Beware of this company!!! I am initiating a BBB complaint. I m very worried they haven t winterized it, and I ve asked repeatedly if they have, but I get no response. Worst RV experience ever, enough to sell the darn thing and forget the whole RV idea altogether. Run from this company as fast as you can. Go across the street to general RV.

By the way, if you read the positive reviews they re all about the sales staff. It s easy to be responsive and friendly when you re selling an expensive RV to someone. After that, you re done. Read the negative reviews, they re almost all about the service department. Also, pay attention to their response on the negative reviews. Corporate HQ if you re reading this: you re only as strong as your weakest link. Your service department needs a complete rethink. Figure it out or someone else will for you.

Purchased our first RV from Jud this past weekend after attending the
RV show in Richmond last weekend. He was very knowledgeable and out of his way helpful with our selection and questions. Very nice RV dealership with plenty to choose from. We have been very busy with our lives and now seem to have time to start enjoying RV traveling. We will be picking it up next month at our chosen time and will see how well it will be delivered along with the demo and instructional process. We do not foresee any problems at this time.

Bought a class a with Dustin crooks as our sales person. Our entire experience was wonderful, and I would recommend doing business here anytime. Dustin was very thorough in finding out exactly our wants and needs, and worked very diligently to fill our requests. When we returned for pick up, there was a problem, and Dustin went above and beyond to complete our experience. His determination and especially his honesty in keeping every word he said to us show an incredible work ethic. Mcgeorge's is priviledged to have Dustin on their team.

The lack of communication and compassion over our situation is appalling at best from this location and from corporate. If I could have given you ZERO stars I would have. I will not be sending any friends and family your way because you do not know how to treat your customers when you are in the wrong.

If i could do negative stars I would. The service department is terrible. So I needed to get some warranty work done before we hit the year mark since we bought our 2017 Class C. First I schedule an appointment three weeks out from dropping it off. No big deal, I diagnosed everything and told them what needed to be done. Drop it off to find out that no one is going to even look at it for another three weeks... Wait, what about the three weeks before. But whatever, its easy stuff to fix that i could do, but its free parts and labor since its under warranty. Then three weeks go by, so I call and find out no one has looked at it and they don't know when it will be. Apparently they can't keep service technicians there and that is the excuse that my service advisor keeps repeating from the notebook in front of her. I then ask to speak with the service manager, who of course isn't there, but they'll leave her a message. Shockingly, never returned my call. Then four weeks go by, then five... In the meantime i am trying to call, but no one answers option 3 (service department) or returns the messages left on option 3... I finally get the name of a service manager and wife and I talk to him several times over the next two weeks so we could split up the time drain from the process. Then, EUREKA! Its been nearly two months (most of the summer) and we can finally pick it up, minus a part they are still waiting on since they didn't look at it for the first five weeks it was there, but its ready and they can mail me the part. Just sign hear and acknowledge that everything is repaired, hold on,I'll be right back. Look it over, only to find that they didn't fix everything. The leveling system still doesn't work right and the pin it still bent, even though I told them which one it was. So I ask for the service manager again. No worries, we'll get the service tech to come out there and bend it back into place. Of course that's the kind of repairs that I'm looking for. Naturally, they don't have any pins, but they'll order one for me and send it to my house for me to install. So I get the RV home and walk around it again to find that there is damage to the side view mirror that wasn't there when it was dropped of. So far it has taken two days for the service manager to get back to me, but unfortunately i missed his call this evening to explain more of my frustration with this whole encounter. I don't have too high of hopes that they will resolve this anytime soon, if ever.

Do not go to McGeorge, of course they were super easy to buy from, but good luck with anything else..
