Terrible service. After waiting for a hour to see ...

Terrible service. After waiting for a hour to see a sales person we checked with the desk. They found our name but never assigned a sales person. Not much on service. We will pick up a Class C elsewhere. Oh, there store prices where crazy high.

I had excellent interactions with Robert Petry and Elizabeth Valencia. Robert not only sold us a classic Montana fifth wheel, he also held my hand for two months while I moved from North Carolina to Virginia and had the RV delivered. Elizabeth walked me through the store and shared her experiences as another fifth wheel owner as I purchased necessary equipment As a new RV owner, I have been constantly reassured by Robert who volunteered himself as a future resource. I can't thank either one of them enough!

Took my father down here to look around for RV s because he s been interested in one for a while. Our sales lady, Cindy was kind, patient and caring. She was a big help with helping dad find what he wanted and he ended up finding something that he will be happy with for a long time. I m taking him back down in a couple of days to pick it up and he s excited to start getting out and enjoying life. Tim, I believe was his name, was the finance guy who was also a real nice guy, also helped out and made it a great experience for Dad. The manager was great as well and met dad where he was wanting to be with the price. Overall, it was a great experience and they took care of my dad. Thank you so much!

Our salesperson, Memo Mendez was polite, knowledgeable (about features and manufacturer differences in RV's) and listened to our questions thoughtfully. In other words, he didn't waste our time and was not pushy or disinterested.

Mark Johansson is the best, very knowledgeable about RVs. Mark met us at the door told him we where just trying to figure out what we wanted. He asked us what we were looking for, went to the front desk came back with a list off we went. Mark was very pleasant and helpful even though we told him we where just looking. After the third RV he showed us we fell in love , it was a new 2017 that had been sitting on the lot awhile when he told me the price I said let's go sign the papers . Overall everyone was very pleasant and professional. Thanks Mark for all your help .

Our saleswoman and finance team was very good to deal with. Upon pickup, there were items missing from the camper as well as broken items. I was told they would order the items and I could pick up once received. It is now over a month later and cannot get ahold of anyone to even talk to about the parts. I get transferred to parts then they transfer me to service then get send to someone else, then another person and so on and still no answer on parts. It s the endless phone circle. First time camping found other items not working or broken and I m afraid to bring in for service because who knows if I will receive answers or will ever get it back. My suggestion when anyone purchases a camper don t leave the lot till all items are in place and fixed before leaving!!!!! This is getting ridiculous! It s a shame because our sales experience was fine. At pick up time not so much!!!!!

Had a wonderful experience purchasing our first RV. Our salesman Donnie Appich was very patient, listened, not pushy to a make sale, and answered our questions to best of his ability. Management was friendly and professional in negotiating price. Highly recommend McGeorge to purchase a RV.

I purchased a 5th wheel from McGeogre/Camping Worl...

I purchased a 5th wheel from McGeogre/Camping World. Their management, finance department, sales team, and customer service team, Will do everything to srew you over. I would recommend going to your own bank for financing If they wanted to charge me in a 8.9% I went through my own bank and got 3.2%. To this day still having issues with them fixing everything. The customer service will put you on hold for over 30 minutes and promise that I'll call you back. You will have to follow well put them on a daily basis. If you request to talk to their general manager he is not at work that day. Hands down the worst experience I've ever had and this rollercoaster ride still isn't over.

I spoke with Mark Johansson on the phone and discussed what my wife and I were looking for. We drove almost 100 miles to see a Rockwood Roo. When we arrived, the camper was all set up for a walk-through. We got a good deal and a great sales experience. We made the purchase and rang the bell in the lobby. We were treated well by everyone there. We will be back!

We went to pick up our travel trailer yesterday after it had been winterized. Chrissy, the service manager, took the time to answer numerous questions we had as we are new to RVing. As we were preparing to hitch up and hit the road, we ran into a little hiccup with our hitch. Chrissy and a service tech, Nick, saved the day! They went way above and beyond and took the time to help us out. Nick figured out the issue and got us safely on the road. Top notch customer service is hard to find these days, but Chrissy & Nick know what it s all about! They definitely left a lasting impression and we will for sure return for our service needs. Thank you both!!

Customer Service is terrible! Once you have a deal/pay them they no longer are interested in hearing from you NOR do they contact you to see if you are happy. So glad we now have National Indoor RV Center close by for service and any NEW motor-home sale that we might be interested in.

Walked in wanting to look at travel trailers 25ft or less and learn about the floor plan options bit was told I needed to provide personal info such as personal address and other info. I informed the saleperson I simply wanted to see trailers and was told that due to covid I needed to provide info. Walked out immediately. Waste of time, and I drove in from NoVa (95 miles) just to view trailers.

We decided to trade in our small 17ft trailer for something with a little more room. Devin is the sales rep that we are working with. We were able to handle most of the transaction via internet and phone. When we arrived at McGeorges we were able to see what we picked out. Devin is great - very personable, answered all our questions and very easy to work with. The whole process has been stress free and we really appreciated all his help. I would highly recommend Devin to anyone wanting to purchase an RV. He is very laid back, professional and a joy to talk too! The management and financial team were great as well. They all had a long day and by the end of it they were still pleasurable to work with. Thank you - we can't wait until Tuesday arrives to pick-up our new Cougar 22 RBS!!

I worked with Robert Petry on a trade-in and purchase of a new RV the end of last year. Wonderful experience! Robert worked really hard to help me get what I wanted at the price I needed. The vehicle was at another location and he was able to get it to Richmond, and the prep, delivery, walk-through, and trade all went like clockwork. Very smooth and pleasant purchase experience. Robert went beyond my expectations with excellent communication, quick reply to questions, and then arranging everything to be convenient and efficient on delivery. I m guessing that the hostess was having a bad day today because she was rude from the point we walked in. In fact we were there only long enough to be told, through her chin strap that they were taking the pandemic seriously and we needed to wait for a salesperson in order to walk through.

Worst experience I have ever had. Don't waste your time. My husband and I have visited several RV retail stores. We have really been trying to make an educated descission on such a large purchase and NEVER have I ever left feeling the way I did today. The store a seemed to have a pretty big selection however the sales person Keith was too busy trying to prequalify us before he was willing to help. Although there were several brands to chose from, and some we have never heard of, he didn't seem like he felt like showing us. We wanted to make sure we knew all our options but I literally felt like we were bothering him. Not really sure if he was prejudging us or if it was because it was close to closing time. Had zero motivation to show is any model. Sorry To have bothered you Keith. I mean geez. When we left, I tried calling to speak to a supervisor and of course no one was available to speak to me. I have to say it doesn't surprise me. No worries, we will take our purchase else where.

We came in on a hot Saturday afternoon 7/15/17. We had been on the website and felt that it was worth the 2 & 1/2 hour drive from Lynchburg. You had several models on the website that interested us. Unfortunately, I told our salesman that we were shopping and doing our homework and wasn't buying today but soon. We looked at only 5 campers. One of them really caught our attention. You have a used, rear living room travel trailer at $11,900. We were very interested in this unit. The salesman went to get a jump box so he could extend the slideout for us to see it. Not sure if it was the slideout or the jump box but, when the slideout didn't come out, the salesman made NO effort to get it out for us. Instead, he tried to push a bunkhouse on us that we liked but, we don't want or need bunks. We left very disapointed that we couldn't see the camper that we really liked. We may have actually bought that unit as we really liked that unit. We told the salesman how much we liked it and would really like to see it open. He made NO attempt to get this unit open and sold. Unfortunately, we will now continue our search elsewhere. Not impressed with this particular salesman. I will not name him as I feel no need to blast him but, he may have cost you a sale.

Fought with manager over phone was very rude to me when I drove the next day to discuss the mess they made they told me the manager was fired. Prob because how rude he was to people. Great customer service here. I worked with Guilimo and happened to have my son with me during the tour. He took his time with us and showed us 3 different units and was able to get me great deals on the one I was going to choose. The rest of the staff was very helpful as well. Such a great environment and really made the buying experience less of a hassle. I would definitely and have recommended to my friends and family.

Staff is helpful and pleasant. The purchase and instruction session went well. Prices for necessities can be steep without the Good Sam membership. It would have been helpful to know about all of the necessities needed before purchasing, because those are unexpected cost for a first time buyer who is trying to stay within a certain budget. The store walk thru was helpful, but a mention that you will be adding aproximately $500 or more to your bill for necessities should be mentioned. Also, since trailers have to be inspected yearly as well, that should be mentioned to first time buyers. My experience as a first time buyer was fair. As of now, I don't feel that I'm missing too much more info that would be helpful. I feel prepared enough for a good start. I suggest to first time buyers that you research RV's/trailers, watch YouTube videos on the what you are interested in, and ask lots of questions before purchasing one.

I can't comment on the service dept haven't need them yet. I was aware of those reviews and some issues a family member had several years ago. I went there to buy my new travel trailer because they were the only dealer that had the model I wanted. I was very pleased with the deal I got and the exceptional service I got from my sales person Lyn. I was also very impressed with the team that prepped and did the walk-through on my new trailer.

In August 2019, I purchased a 23MK Forrest River G...

In August 2019, I purchased a 23MK Forrest River Grey Wolf trailer from McGeorge's RV (an Camping World RV sales and service dealership). The purchase of the trailer went very well, it was after that the nightmare began. We brought the unit home to PA and used it once over a weekend in the fall of 2019. We immediately found that the p-trap under the kitchen sink was improperly installed after it had leaked and soaked everything under the sink I bought replacement parts to temporarily fix the problem until I could contact the dealership. After that, the unit went into inside, climate controlled storage until May of 2020. When we brought the unit out, we found that the electric fireplace and microwave were not working. We also discovered several other discrepancies. The inside window trim rings were ALL over tightened, the kickplate for the kitchen sink cabinet had swelled due to the previous plumbing leak, the shelf in the bathroom cabinet had collapsed due to the lack of supporting screws, there was a 1/2" gap between the kitchen window trim ring and the wall. there are 2 chrome wheels on one side and 2 black powder coated wheels on the other side and the there was a crease in the slide out trim due to overtightening of the screws. After further inspection, I founded that the furnace ducts were not connected to the furnace and metal / wood debris in all the hidden compartments.

I attempted to contact the general manager and the Salesman who sold us the unit and left several messages to call me back, with no response. I contacted the Service Department where I dealt with rude and unresponsive staff.

I finally contacted Camping World Corporate Offices who put me in touch with a Warranty Mediator. All of my concerns were relayed to her and it was agreed that I would return my unit to the Harrisburg, PA Camping World for the warranty work. I was Scheduled to bring the unit in at 2PM on June 26, 2020. I arrived on time, expecting that the service department would be ready for me. My assigned service writer seemed uninterested, unaware of why I was there and was unable to locate the paperwork for my unit. I was obviously upset and asked to speak to the Service Manager. The Service Manager was rude und argumentative. I finally got the unit checked in.

I was in contact with the mediator at least once a week, getting the same answer each time, " They are waiting on parts." Finally, in the beginning of September, I told the mediator that I had to have the unit back as I was renting my house and moving to Virginia and would be living in my trailer for an extended period of time. I was told I could pick up the unit and when the parts came in they could ship them to a local Camping World where the repair items would be addressed.

When I picked up the unit, it was in worse shape then when I picked it up. I had asked that the plumbing under the sink be replaced with OEM parts. When I checked, it was over the counter parts and the drain wasn't even connected. The repairs to the bathroom cabinet was sub standard and the unit was filthy with sawdust and metal shavings. Instead of just replacing the slide out trim piece, they used silicone caulking that appeared as if a 2 year old had done the work. The gasket around the slide out was also damaged. As I pointed the additional deficiencies to the service manager, he became rude and in so many words, called me a liar. I took the unit home as it appeared I was not going to get any satisfaction.

I have been in contact with the mediator on a weekly basis, up until a few weeks ago. I have given up and repaired several of the issues myself. I have been told that many of the parts have still not arrived and it's now almost been 5 months.

I will NEVER Deal with or purchase ANYTHING from Camping World EVER again. DO NOT believe their slogan from the CEO, "If you're not happy, I'm not Happy." It's a lie. I haven't been happy since I began dealing with Camping World over a year ago.

Do not buy an RV from Mc George RV in Ashland!. We purchased a new RV from them last May 2019. The sales process was fine, but several small things were not properly fixed within our brand new RV that we asked during the purchase process when we picked it up. we just tried to fix them.

Since then, the wheel fell off on one of our trips and the entire axle had to be replaced. This was a high quality, brand new 18' travel trailer. We had the proper towing vehicle and paid for additional tow bar and anything having to do with anything safety related, along with mega extended warranties and all else they try to sell.

Fortunately, Gander RV in Thornburg, took care of the issue with great service. We had a special trip planned, and Gander was able to complete that major repair within short term so we could do so.

Mc George in Ashland, was not able to even get our camper in for repairs for at least 2 months out, and then we didn't trust their service. Many bad reviews, so do your homework.

Drive a little north, and consider Gander RV for sales and service. Also, General RV has also set up a new sales and service location in Ashland.

When we went down to McGeorges, we met an awesome sales guy Doug Wheeler who took us around and showed us some of the most awesome RVs we had ever seen. He was so knowledgeable and so helpful, he got us into exactly what we wanted! We are so in love with our Georgetown! We have already gone on our first trip and can t wait to takeoff again. This place is not a good place to buy an RV. It was very misleading on a motorhome . I drove 4 hrs to be really disapointed. Sales associate was fast talking . But what was supposed to be such a great deal is not. Was suppose to be clean, honestly should go to scrap. Tires are bad, rv smelled really bad, was told it had 2 slides only had 1 exterior was in terriable shap. Not impressed at all.

My wife, two kids and my two nephews (all ages 10-12) stopped in today to look at new RVs. We currently have a 26 foot motorhome. We are looking to upgrade it within the next few years and like to stop by dealerships to see what s new, stay abreast of prices and determine exactly what we want in our next RV. I told the sales rep (his name began with the letter M) that we have a motorhome but are not currently in the market for a new one and that we were just there to look. While he did show us 2 RVs after I asked twice if he would show some to us, he seemed very reluctant and moderately dismissive of our interests (and used language like ok, I ll show you one more after showing us only 2...and only b/c my wife asked to see one similar to a model she had driven and liked earlier this year). My wife and I were unhappy with this experience and will not return as a result.

I also spoke to several people at the service counter regarding filling my RV with LP. All of them were knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful.

Just traded in my 2018 Bounder 34s for a 2020 Jayco Seneca. The salesman Jade Stamm exceptionally professional, very personable and knowledgeable. Also got to meet with the Jayco rep Jaime Moreno who answered all my technical questions. My hat's off to McGeorges RV! I'll post another review on Thursday after I take delivery.

On 21 December, we went to the Camping World store at this location to order parts for our RV. We were told the parts would be in the Tuesday before Christmas, but didn't arrive until the Friday after New Years. With the holidays going on I would normally cut people slack, but not this time. Between the day they were supposed to arrive and the day they did, I had a couple of phone calls with them. Each time, it took around 10 minutes for them to track down the order, and each time they promised a new delivery date. Finally, on January 2 they promised they'd be there on the 4th. We suspect that is when they actually placed the order. When we went to pick up the parts, they had ordered the wrong item. Needless to say we got our money back and ordered what we needed for a lot less money. Save your time and gas, order your parts elsewhere.

I was contacted the other day by the maintenance department. I was informed that the service center was being shut down until further notice due to high volume and my April appointment was now cancelled. I initially made an appointment for RV warranty work in January for a March service date. The day before I was to bring my RV in, I was contacted and told to reschedule due to high volume. It was rescheduled for April. Now, after making 2 service appointments they tell me they are closed. Im sure glad I let the finance folks con me into purchasing the extended warranty! What good is it now if I cant use it? I was told when I purchased the camper how easy it was to bring it in for repairs. Please do your research before buying your camper here. I didn't, and know I am paying for it. I will be going in later this week to cancel my warranty. I will be going to General RV when I purchase my next RV.

Our salesman (Dana) was terrible and our first experience with service has been ridiculous. They've had our camper for more than five weeks, and haven't touched it. This is after we had our appointment set for two months before we brought it in. They also seriously mismanaged our warranty repairs, which led to the repairs not being covered by Jayco. Sadly, this is the only sizable RV retailer and service business anywhere near us, so either we deal with them or we drive two hours.

As soon as we walked through the door Jade was there to greet us! He showed us around the lot and was very knowledgeable on all of the campers and manufacturers. There was lots to choose from so we looked at some of them 3 or 4 times, which Jade showed a lot of patience with us. We never felt rushed or obligated to buy anything today. Whether you already know what you re looking for or you just want to explore around and look at every camper, make sure you as for Jade!

Oh my goodness the friendly staff makes us feel like we are family, they are always ready to help us solve our problems. We bought a camper from "Doc" Holiday and are happy with everything, we had our 3 dogs with us each time and they welcomed them, which made us really at ease.

Not impress at all. I got schedule for walk thru at 1pm, i was seen at 6pm, left at about 8pm. No excuse but rv wasnt ready, so why you schedule me then, no one could answer me. Rv is missing some stock options, loke loft ladder, patio deck ladder, some bed pins, so i have to go back and claim them. The Rv walk through is very weak and they dont explain anything or how to use the important stuff, like water waste, etc. They just show you locations and you havento figure it out. Really had a bad experience with them when bought my unit. I hope the service and warranty is better than the sale. You tube is the way to go to learn some good info about the rv.

The sales person Mark was great. Very nice, and followed up with us the day we picked up our new toy hauler even though he was on vacation. The gentleman that walked us through the camper was great. Gave us a lot of good information on how everything worked. The person who walked us through the store was nice and so was the finance person. After we got home we realized the toy hauler was a little tight for our Harley s so we called and asked if we could trade up a model. We knew we would lose money but wanted to know what that would be. I had to call twice to get someone on the phone. The receptionist sounded like I was irritating her by calling. The General or Sales Manager I spoke with told me we should have measured first. He told me to speak with my husband and make an educated decision. I told him we would be able to make an educated decision if we knew the dollar amount we were talking about. He said he would call me back - that was 5 days ago and I ve never heard back. We will make it work, but when we decide to trade in and go bigger, we will probably go elsewhere

Visited this location last month with my husband on our way back to Texas to check out what they had. Rose was our salesperson and she was amazing! We had visited a few dealerships prior and out of everyone we talked to, she was the most down to earth, professional person. We will be visiting again in the summer and can't wait to purchase our 5th wheel from her.
