Terrible customer service with quick lane manager ...

Terrible customer service with quick lane manager Jesse, never introduced himself, sarcastic attitude, offered no help when I pick up my car and noticed scratches on the back of my car, and was parked outside a parking lane. When asked why my car was parked outside the parking space he said there was no room to park it anywhere else. He said he would have to review cameras and call us back with updates he didnt bother to take pics or anything. We left messages to hear back from him and nothings has been communicated. I'll never take my car back there for maintenance.

Took my vehicle in to have extended warranty work. I knew my portion was 100.00. After a few days I get a call that my battery is not testing correct and I need a new one. I feel like the service writer played me. First this is my 3rd battery in 50k miles. The last one was put in by Fords manufacturer warranty so I was told since I didn't pay for it, I had no benefits. But if I paid for this battery I would have a 7 year pro rated guarantee at any dealer for 105.00. What he failed to mention was the 70.00 labor charge on top of the 100 and the battery. I was played. But other than that service was good, got a rental, timely manner fixed and very accommodating.

Great service super friendly very fast and aFORDable... See what I did there. But for real, I came in around 3 for an oil change. I was leaving by 335 so not a long wait at all, 45$ for oil change and rotation is a good deal 50-60$ back home. The gentleman at the desk was super friendly and knew what he was talking about. Well done guy keep it up.

My father Edward Rodriguez just bought a 2019 ford about 2 weeks ago he took the truck to get detail since its been raining the guy detailing said if its a brand new truck why is it scratched on the top roof we went straight to the dealer ship they said oh well its been a month my dad said I haven't even made my first payment its been two weeks they did not care what so ever. Be sure to check every detail if you get a truck check the roof they said they will check cameras we haven't heard from them since I need corporate to contact me asap spent $47,000 very disappointed no one wants to help me bad customer service when it came to a problem with the truck and I was highly recommend

I had a very bad experience with the service department at McCombs Ford West. I made an appointment to have my vehicle checked out. I dropped my vehicle off before the time of my appointment, and the representative told me he would contact me in a few hours. After 6 hours I had to call several times, and leave a message before I received a call back. The representative hadn't worked on my truck and informed me that it would be the next morning before my vehicle would be looked at. The following day I waited until noon to call the dealership because they never called me. My representative was available, so I waited for a call back. He called and gave me the information I took in to be serviced for, and I declined their service because the lack of communication and horrible customer service. I told my service representative that I would be in to get my vehicle, and then he told me that there would be a 140.00 diagnostic fee which he never relayed or spoke of before or when I dropped the vehicle off. I went to pick up my vehicle, and all I was given was a receipt for a diagnostic check. No diagnostic check report!!! I waited for my representative for 30 minutes and he never showed up. I paid my money for a receipt, and left. I would never go there again and never refer anyone there.

Some say it's not about customer service it's only...

Some say it's not about customer service it's only about the car. I agree it's about the car BUT customer service plays a huge role when purchasing a new vehicle. Red McCombs Ford West went above and beyond to help me and surprised me with even more! They are truly amazing both personally and professionally and I walked out with a brand new car and amazing service!

Rachelle, in services, is amazing. The front desk said I couldn t get my car checked until Sept. 17th, she was able to squeeze my car in and get it checked out right away. She kept me inform with my car status and even washed my car after finishing its services. She is the best and recommend her to everyone.

I had the best experience ever shopping with McCombs ford west , dealing with Majd Tabrizy who was very patient with me and has helped me know everything I need to know about trucks as a woman . Bernard did a great job making it a good experience and for that he gets 4 stars. It did take a little while longer than I expected. Plan on being without your vehicle at least for a night. The only real complaint that I have is the phone message system. I tried 4 times to get ahold of a service person with no call backs. However, once my vehicle was in the shop Bernard did a great job keeping me in the loop.

George in the service dept was amazing with providing me with great customer service. He got my mustang checked in and got the warranty work done in the same day with out an appointment. I'd say thats what I call EXCELLENT customer service.

The used car sales is nothing but bait and switch! I spoke with Joe Anthony online about a truck and he guaranteed me the truck was there and available. I show up 20 minutes later and the truck was sold. They just left with it . Fast forward two weeks and I m on Facebook and he is still listing the same truck. I have reported it twice to have the listing removed and it keeps getting reposted. Honesty is not a part of this dealership. I called to speak with the sales manager and was told to hold. The secretary came back and asked what the call was about and put me on hold again. She then returned and said the sales managers were with customers and it would be a while but the could call me back. DO NOT trust these people!

On September 3rd 2020 I found a used vehicle onlin...

On September 3rd 2020 I found a used vehicle online on their website as well as TrueCar. I was given a TrueCar offer in an email and text message followed by a call from James at the dealership saying it was still available and to come in for a test drive. I showed up and Fernando let me take it for a test drive. Yes I took it for a test drive. I really liked the truck and showed him the email with the TrueCar offer that was sent in text and email from James. After Fernando went back to take the offer to his manager, he and the manager, Jesse, came back to let me know the truck was sold the day before and there was nothing that could be done. The price of the truck was probably too good to be true so they had to make another excuse why to not sell it to me. This is terrible business. This would have been my second used truck to buy from a Red McCombs dealership. I will never take my business there ever again and I will pass this story along to as many others as I can.

UPDATE!!!!
Later in the evening I get an email saying the price has increased. So you sold it? Nope. You lied to me so you could sell the truck for more. Awful business. Beware of this place.

The sales side is fine. I have bought a couple of cars here now and loved that process. The quick lube is also really good at what they do. Where this place fails miserably is when warranty work is required. They're unresponsive, extremely slow and borderline deceptive. This experience with my latest car ensures I will not buy from this dealer again. Very disappointed.

Promote him now! Our salesman, Jason Manko was nothing but professionalism at it's finest. Even when I wasn't very excited about the car buying experience, Jason took that as something he needed to do for me. After my husband and I came to an agreement to purchase the Escape, it was Jason that made sure I left feeling excited. I didn't realize I was settling and when Jason ask me if I was happy with the blue, I said it was fine...He recognized that wasn't the right answer and made sure I left with all the big and small details covered. Not pushy at all and truly took into consideration all our wants as well as concerns. Professionalism is a hard value to come by these days and Jason reminded us that should be the standard.
Financing was a breeze and Angel Jaramillo was the reason for that. All our questions were answered and made very clear. We would and are recommending all our friends and family to buy their next vehicle at Ford West but more than that we are HIGHLY recommending Jason Manko and Angel Jaramillo to be the buying team to have.

So there I was, trying to upgrade to a bigger car ...

So there I was, trying to upgrade to a bigger car at 8.5 months pregnant and jumping in on the advertised sale price just to find out it was apparently mispriced and someone is going to get fired. So, getting the deal of the century that, the GM can t even get just finance with us, we will beat your 4.0% from USAA. After an all-day adventure and offering me nickels on the dollar for what my car is worth on trade-in to balance out the difference and a handshake, they financed me at 6.15% and said sorry that s the only way we can get money back on this car deal. (bank throwbacks?) I honor a handshake so will be refinancing. Some of the guys were nice, some not so much, we got a good deal off of their mistake and we are the bad guys maybe don t advertise deals you can t make. Jason and Matt (salesmen), and Matt (finance) are actually trying and were very helpful but this company is failing at a leadership level. All in all, I got a good deal that they made me feel bad about and lied to a lot they did honor the advertised sale price, although, making us feel guilty about it. Win lose I guess go somewhere else
So since individuals can t get rated on google reviews these are my ratings. Jason (salesman) 4.5 stars, Matt (salesman) 5 stars, and Matt (finance) 4.5 stars, company leadership 1 star since you can t give negative stars on here #interestratepaperwork (still might publish).. don t false advertise.

This is my first time ever making a bad review for...

This is my first time ever making a bad review for anyone but sometimes its well deserved. Took some time off my busy schedule to make an appointment to drop off my new vehicle(only vehicle) for warranty work. I spoke to Ricky Reyes and he said to drop it off. I did give him a deadline day that I'll need my car back as its my only vehicle that I have. I left and I noticed I forgot something in my car so I came back to pick it up and saw where they have parked my car in the back along with them starting to work on another vehicle that has came after me. Time passes by so I called Ricky Reyes and this guy rarely likes to answer the phone. He tells me the door lock is losing communication and they're still trying to find the issue. I just replied with "Okay, just keep me informed." Little does he know is that my car has gps, so I know for a fact that the car hasn't been moved at all from where they have parked it. Time passes by and its now the deadline day and I called him 4-5 times and left a voicemail but he never answered once. My gps also showed my car never moved so I had enough and went to go check up on my car. Found it still parked in the same spot where it was parked originally. I walked inside to speak to Ricky Reyes. He tells me they still cant figure out the issue and they need it longer. I tell him that I have a feeling they never even touched it at all. You can tell that he got mad so I just asked for my keys and I told him Im going to take it somewhere else. Just to confirm things, my car also has a dash camera thats always recording. I went through the videos to make sure my gps was correct and it was true. Not one person looked at the car, nor was it moved. So making an appointment doesn't mean anything and I just wasted my time and money. If he would of just been honest with me, I wouldn't have been mad. Just lying to my face nonstop is not professional along with never answering phone calls. If you come to this dealership, I recommend speaking to a different service advisor.

Worst service department ever! I dropped my truck off for work and when I got it back, the technician didn't bolt thing's back down, broke plastic pieces, and the dealer said it was like that. If you say so, I'm a mechanic by trade and an avid truck lover. If you have to get a dealer to fix your truck, then go to Red McCombs on I-10 and talk to Jimmy.

Worst customer service experience. Went through the whole process of waiting and paperwork and the salesman told me everything went through and got approved they just needed some additional paperwork. Went home to pick up the forms they needed only to come back telling me they need a down payment of $1500-$2000 in order for them to give me the car. I showed them the signed paperwork and they told me they needed the down payment to release the car. What a bunch of bull. Never again will I step into this dealership even if they are offering good deals. WORST dealership. Better to go somewhere else.

My vehicles have always been serviced by dealer only. Hyundai/Ford (Ford West). My work schedule is extremely hard to work around with. Bernard Ave. Of Ford West my service consultant is by far the best consultant I ve ever interacted with. Appreciate his EXCELLENT PROFESSIONALISM, of course his understanding of my vehicle needs. Ford West has definitely earn my loyalty/Business for future vehicle needs. As side my persistence and always testing but all was understood as to why. FORD WEST THSNK YOU!! Bernard you definitely deserve a raise / promotion. Thanks you so very much.

Update 12/23:. Still won't go back. Had the Ford recalls done. Service advisor told me to take my Explorer to another dealership to try to get my paint recall done..even said my vehicle wasn't covered but it's 5yrs/Unlimited mileage and I have a 2015. Guess they won't be getting my service anymore

I traveled quite a distance to purchase a certified preowned vehicle, only to show up and find tons of scratches an major defects on the vehicle. I asked the salesperson to put their eyes on the vehicle thoroughly, and he assured me that the truck was very clean. Not a happy traveler!!!

I went into this dealership today 01/28/2020. To look at a Subaru Legacy GT they had online. It was overpriced to start, but when I got there it was $300 more expensive than the add online. but it looked like it was in good condition from the pictures and had pretty low mikes for a 2006 car so I looked anyway. When we arrived we were promptly met by a salesman who seemed nice enough. That s where the good ended. It took them 15minutes to find the car. When they did, we took it out for a test drive. While we were driving I noticed the signs of a turbo bearing going. I told this to the sales men and he said they would do a safety inspection then when we returned to the lot the car started blowing smoke out of the bottom of the head. Obviously from the head gasket. When I mentioned it. The salesmen said he would go talk to the manager about it. When he returned he said if I bought the car they do their point safety inspection and if it was unsafe they would refund my money. I asked if they would do it before I bought it and I was told no. I d have to purchase the car then they would do a priority inspection. they were really good at not saying they would fix anything. But guaranteeing safety inspection

So I went to look at a car, it had a probable blown head gasket. Then when I asked if they would fix it. They said they d inspect it after I bought it. When I said I d think about it the manager came up to sell me a truck cause I said I need a 4 door car with AWD. Then he switched gear to a truck I Had very little interest in. I will not being doing anymore business with this dealership. They are shady. And try to sell cars they know are in need of serious repair. Beware of this if you do business with them.

The dealership here is shady at best. We had already made a deal on a 2017 mustang on the phone only to drive over 150 miles to be told that the price would be 400 dollars higher. After the business manager calling the salesman a liar and being told we would not get a better deal anywhere by the team leader, we got a way better deal at Covert Ford in Austin the next day. They then call me and tell me they'll drop the price 200 dollars after they told me that at 25900 they were not making any money? really!!! Don't buy here, all you get is a lie and pressured to buy when you get there. In closing, thank you God for making me hold on to my beliefs. DON'T BUY HERE AT MCOMBS!

This is ridiculous I brought my car in Tuesday to get some recalls done and my ac compressor looked at and can never get an answer. I tried the last 2 days to get some info and all I get is they're working on it. I can hardly get a call back since my service advisor is out since Thursday apparently no else can help me. After calling and leaving a message no one returned my call I called back only to be hung up on twice and put on hold for I dont know how long took me calling almost 7 times before I finally got thru to someone who told me they are short staffed on Sunday he didn't know the status of my car and I would have to wait for my service advisor to contact me. I will never bring my car here again this is
