Very good steak.
Very expensive.

Excellent! This my favorite restaurant for steak. The service is excellent, the food NEVER disappoints, and the whole dining experience is ALWAYS, ALWAYS exceptional! I do prefer the restaurant and not the Penthouse, that's for the trendy crowd.

Phenomenal services loved the special attention and would re-return in a heartbeat!

Absolutely delicious. Should expect perfect steaks and perfect service, and of course we get just that everytime. Not sure which Matros location I like better as they all have unique themes.

The best service and the food was amazing. Had the seafood tower with lobster mashed potatoes. The chocolate lava cake was the best. It was a great birthday treat.

I was going to Maestro's s since they open. My boyfriend at that time loved it and it was indeed great food and service. It was sort of novelty since there were no place like that in BH and I was living there and knew all restaurants near my condo. You could go to a piano player and ask for a song and you could play too. It was pricy but was worth it. Now it's just no good. I don't eat meat but they have large vegetarian sides and fish but had no flavor. Food just not good anymore and too many drunk and strange people.

I have mix feeling; the food was okay except the dessert was amazing. The services from the staff was the best in town.

Best steakhouse in LA, the drinks are great and so is the service. Every restaurant should learn from them!

Made a reservation a week in advance , and when I called to confirm a day before they said they didn t have anything for me. LUCKILY another location had a time available for me.

You get what you pay for in this incredible restaurant. Attentive service and unbelievable steak. We loved the atmosphere as well. We will definitely return! Went here for dinner, ambiance is very nice.

Crazy busy mid-week is an indication of long record of excellent service and menu. Penthouse Sushi or sashimi quality and presentation is excellent for any Sushi restaurant let alone a Steakhouse. Steak comes with a very high quality and texture. Service is friendly, welcoming and fast. Mastro's leaves restaurants like BOA in the dust.

We were in the area when my Boyfriend wanted to go to Mastro's for drinks. After this visit I actually loved the Penthouse at Mastro's. Oliver has to be by far the top three bartender of all time for me. He gave us the drop down of some of the best drinks they had. We decided to get a bottle of wine to end our lovely Anniversary weekend. Oliver was so consistent with constantly making sure our drinks were full. He was so attentive handling the whole penthouse bar. We actually got to enjoy our conversation with Oliver, unlike other bartenders who just make your drink and mind their own business in a corner. We went to grab a drink or two and ended up staying at the Penthouse for over two hours. The oysters went so well with our bottle of wine!! Thanks Oliver for your A+++ service!!! Mastro's is very lucky to have a bartender such as yourself!!!

Buzzing with great energy, there's an air of excitement even from valet area and throughout the multilevel areas.

Steak, no doubt, was very juicy. We had the Wagyu Tomahawk Chops, succulent, generous portion and came exactly medium and sliced as we ordered. Sides generally tasty but quite heavy and come in sharing portions. Almost every dish is actually. So order conservatively and plan to dine family style so you won't burn holes in your pockets.

Our oval main plates came mainly empty but drizzled with some herbs and extremely HOT, which I thought was incredibly thoughtful so we could enjoy the dishes' warmth, longer.

Minor note for improvement: wish our server told us during our dinner but we found out after the fact from a family member (who happened to dine on a different table, same night as us) that we can order sides as half portions. This way I could have ordered more variations. Otherwise, everything was great. The Warm Butter Cake was the sweet closure to the great dinner.

More TIPS: try to get the penthouse seating if you start dinner late as the main dining gets deserted by about 10 pm while the upstairs still very lively.

The restrooms upstairs are multiple restrooms style too with many handy toiletries and mints to help us refresh versus the single restroom available on ground floor.

Fine dining at it's best, be prepared to pay a hefty check and tip as well

A little loud for my taste, but the food was amazing and service exceptional. Felt like you had your own private butler.

If you are planning to have steak or Lamb... Please visit this location. our waitress April did an amazing job. From greeting, to getting our cocktails ready,telling myself and my party about specials and just checking in on us to see if we needed anything. The attire is def not casual at all so dress it up ladies and gents and prepare for wonder food, great music, and a great time.

One of my top spots for quality Quality Meals. entered near eleven, it wasn't packed. the service was friendly and observant. this place has a good feel to it. menu is like a cafe in boston i liked.

Many of my friends come here. A little pricey but the meat and the steak for our dinner were very nicely prepared. We had a good night

A bit noisy but really great atmosphere. Service was very good. Could be a bit more attentive on a larger table though. Wine choice excellent and the Tomahawk steak was out of this world

Of course great srraks, but what sets Maestros apart is the piano bar entertainment on the 2nd floor. Great music, people watching and great fun!

The food was great but the service was awful. Food arrived out of order. Water was never refilled. Waited nearly 15 minutes for valet to bring our car.

Food & service was amazing. I just wish it wasn't so cramped in there. It was difficult to have an intimate conversation with my date. The tables were too close together that you could hear your neighbors' conversations.

No valet service and it was raining... once we got there we waited for our table for 20 minutes . Even when we made reservations. Food was good but not to die for... I wish the steak was better I was really looking forward to it.

Overrated! Unfortunately, Dane failed to make our visit worthwhile. I guess since the gratuity was already included, he did not feel the need to provide adequate customer service. Bad for business.

I went here about a few weeks ago. It's the first time I've had good steak in a pretty long time, and this place did not dissappoint. In fact, it's one of the best steakhouses I've ever tried, pretty much in the league of Ruths Chris and may even be slightly better.

On this night, I had their house special 18 ounce bone in steak, which is pretty much like a T-bone, only 2 inches thick! I also tried some of my friends dishes, which were Porterhouse Veal (interesting pick) and Porterhouse T-Bone steak. All great. The side dishes get their props as well, including the grilled sauteed onions and house mash potatoes. The cream spinach was good, although probably a bit too creamy compared to some others I've tried. The grilled shrimp with garlic bread was also pretty good.

In all, I highly recommend this restaurant. It is a bit pricey, maybe a tad bit more than Ruths Chris. But if you're willing to spend, the food here will definitely satisfy your cravings.

The only con is that the service was pretty slow throughout the night. Although when the waitress did come to our table, she was very professional and nice

Good ambiance. A bit darker than I like but it was classy. The staff is helpful and courteous. The service was incredibly slow though. The meal was well done and tasty.

I frequently come to this restaurant. I think that this Mastro's serves the best steak, even more so than Mastro's in Malibu. Maybe the patrons are more discerning here. I don't know.

I don't like the penthouse level. It's very dark and the live band is on this level so it can get loud. And the band is not always great.

I try to dine on the first level. It's quieter. Not as crammed as the penthouse.

Oftentimes people share the Tomahawk steak. My daughter and I get separate steaks because she likes the steak very rare. I prefer medium. I love the escargot. Ahi tartar is good and so is the lobster mashed potatoes.

You get what you pay for and that is high end rating..! Fantastic food fantastic service I recommend people that visits Bh for the first time or once in a while visit this place.

Love this spot for beautiful people & beautiful food. So,many different areas to dine in , bar area is always lively after 7pm. Excellent and fun staff. Young adults & older can enjoy. Great for group settings.. business dinners, birthday, or just great drinks

Maestros was FREAKING AMAZING. If someone gave this place a bad review, they were HIGH! It is EXPENSIVE, and it is WORTH EVERY PENNY. Had the lobster mashed potatoes and GIGANTOR onion rings. Appetizers of shrimp and crab??? PHENOMENAL. My wife's bday. We WILL be going BACK.

Oh how my wife and I love this place! You can be assured that you can have an exceptional experience every time you come for dinner for sure. The waiters are very professional and do their best to make sure you have a wonderful experience every time you dine and wine! I love the second floor the most from all the floors they have as it has the piano bar! Yum!

What can I say, my second time here and what a great time I had. My friends and I had a reservation we were seated right away. We got our menus right away, first for a lil wine tasting white vs reds wonderful selections. Our food was on point my steak was cooked to perfection and potatoes were to die for, the cheesecake was fresh and delectable. The room was beautiful on the 2 floor DJ was keeping it lively. Great night must experience the Mastro in BH!!

Outstanding location for quality meals. I love snacking here. Next time I'll be back with my friends. Bring your appetite because portions are large.

Everyone loves this place, but they only serve beer/wine, and the wine isn't great. Since I don't drink beer that leaves me a bit thirsty. Also, I wish they would add some more food to their menu to give a few more options for those who do not want something fried or vegan. But still an awesome local bar I recommend. =)

Top quality steakhouse. Top 5 in LA. Excellent service. Food is delicious. Great steak selection. Now they also serve fish and prawns. Love the Mac n cheese. Salads also very good. The new design and seating is great. Live music adds great vibe. Outdoor sitting available.

My favorite place for getting a real nice steak and some lobster mash.
You will not regret it and will def come back.

I can't decide where, you have to see it to believe it. The service, phenomenal, the food, amazing, the hype, is real!

we went for dinner on a saturday night. they had a band playing so loud i had to shout to my wife sitting across a small table, it was the noisiest restaurant i had ever been to. very expensive , good steak. would recommend never to go there,go to a rolling stones concert instead.the worst.

They have 2 floors, the 2nd is good for a romantic dinner o some drinks, the third one is with more light, both have bands playing really good music

Once you are actually able to get a reservation and a table in a desired spot then the yummy dinner and opulent wine choices will win you over and help you get over the long wait. Go to the bar and ask for this fuzzy pink drink with a smoking ice, then order their porter steaks and high end red wine! Do NOT forget to order the butter cake, oh my god to die for!!! Perfect place for a birthday or a couple's night out!

$$$$. Dark inside. Food is excellent if you are a steak afficianado. If you happen to be the guest of meat eaters, vegetarian options are baked potato and veggie sides.

This place is quite pricey but well worth it for a great night out. Surprisingly not very busy for our last minute dinner plans on a Friday night. Staff was very friendly.

My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon and I knew we had to go to Mastro s. It is one of my favorite steakhouses and once again they did not disappoint! The ambiance is sophisticated but not stuffy. The food is consistently phenomenal and my husband and I stuffed ourselves silly. Our server Adam was top notch and we really appreciated the effort of the staff in helping us celebrate such a special moment in our lives! Go here, you will not regret it.
