Excellent location for quality meals. Visited Fri evening I think. The service was very helpful and welcoming. It has a nice atmosphere.

Great night out with my 2 boys the only thing that spoilt it was the waiter got upset because we didn t spend a fortune like a table full of Russians who hadn t been there before and didn t realise that the portions are huge!

In my experience, the steak was not good. It was not cooked right, nothing was chewable. Ordered medium well filet mignon.

However, this is my only complaint. The service, seafood, wine, bread, dessert, atmostphere was all great. You can come here, enjoy everything by not ordering a steak and leave pretty happy. Thus why I still give it 4 stars. I don't know if it's this location or a one time mistake restaurant made about the steak, but that's my opinion and experience of this place.

I sat at the table next to Juaquin Phoenix! How awesome is that? Absolutely incredible dining experience of a lifetime! Best food I ever had in my life! Totally Awesome! Magnificent!

I went there for a friends birthday party and was pleasantly surprised. It was great service except we had to wait for our table even though we thought we had reservations. The bartenders were great!

This place is quite pricey but well worth it for a great night out. Surprisingly not very busy for our last minute dinner plans on a Friday night. Staff was very friendly.

I often take my friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I go their often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the cooking is delicious and the crew is very friendly and cooperative. always when we eat in this place we pass a pleasing time. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

Top notch first class in the penthouse. Live entertainment was good and the food was awesome.

Staff was so distracted they ignored us even though a pretty of 10 with a 1,400 bill. Sad will not go to that location again.

Me and my girlfriend went to this location with a lot of excitement hearing how great this place was than we tried there food and my medium steak tasted like it was burnt and no flavor

My girlfriend ordered the sea bass and it felt like we were eating air .. no flavor the Mac and cheese was really cheesy but lacking flavor

We made reservations for a Thursday at 5pm and the place was pretty empty. As the night went on, it got more and more crowded. The dinning setting and atmosphere is very dark and intimate. We literally needed to hold a light and phones to read the menu. I highly recommend this spot, you cannot go wrong with Beverly hills. And please do yourself a favor and try Mastro's Signature Warm Butter Cake I can't tell how amazing this taste!

The service was fantastic staff is on point. definitely make reservations and ask to be seated on the second floor for the live band. If decide to make the trip to Beverly hills, do you yourself a favor and valet park your vehicle. I can't wait to come back!!

It was my Anniversary and the food was so damn good. My husband and I loved everything about this place.

This was the wrost place to have a dinner party. Waiters are so pushy you can't split the bill if you have more than 12 people in your party and on top of that they charge you 7.00 to cut a cake that you bring yourself

Expensive, but excellent food and service. Only thing they could correct is when a take-away box is brought to the table the waiter could box the food instead of dropping the box for the diner to do the job. Would have been 5 stars if not for that. Expect that in a diner, not in a fine dining establishment.

I loved my birthday celebration here! The food was absolutely delicious!!! I had the filet mignon butterflied. My chocolate cake was amazing.
However, the waiter Gina was rude to my guest. She treated them horribly. The manager needs to speak to her about customer service and non discrimination! As long as I'm not seated in her section, I will return.

Great place to impress your date. On the pricey side but I highly recommend the tuna sashimi, lamb chops and pumpkin cake

The absolute best steak house in the West. Tender, juicy, flavorful and the service is to die for. Highly recommend for anyone who is a meat connoisseur.

Steaks are great drinks have more than enuff liquor, its just always loud as hell in there! I guess not too loud becuz i continue to go! Lol

It's super fun, but if you don't like dark and loud restaurants, it isn't for you.

Very nice steakhouse, amazing vibes as they had a live band singing. Steaks are perfectly done and if course salad and the side dishes were amazing too.

As you can see from the picture the side dish is huge.

Staff are nice and helpful, our waiter gave us good recommendations to choose from.

Make sure to book in advance, and also keep in mind that not all of the steak cuts are available all time as they get sold out very quickly, am not sure if you can reserve your cut while booking in advance.

Their NY restaurant I founded slightly better than this one.

We've been coming to this location for nearly 17 years since they took over the former Chasen's. From day-one the food and service have been impeccable. I really miss Chasen's...the original that shut down in 1995; it's the history behind it. I still supported the second Chasen's. I have to say Mastro's was the best possible replacement of the historical Chasen's.

We've ordered such a wide variety of entrees and apps over the years ranging from the Rack of Lamb to the Rib Eye/Foi e Gras and sides of creamed corn. The Gorgonzola mac and cheese is delicious. The crab stuffed mushrooms are really good. I could easily be happy just eating the lobster mashed potatoes, creamed corn, french green beans and mac and cheese. They're all so delicious.

I'm so full that desert is never appealing to me...anywhere. I know a lot of our friends must have desert. Either way, we've had desert here on an extremely full stomach and it's still good...and addictive!

As previously stated, the service here is top notch!

Went to the Penthouse. The music was great. I would come back just for that.

...... A friend of mine treated me to a FANTASTIC, FANTASTICO, FANTASTIC Filete mignon meal. Our filets were cooked so beautifully, and I like mine to be cooked to medium rare perfection, and Mastro's did not disappoint. Thank you Mastro's! GRAZIA!

The best steak in the world and the lobster mash to die for

We went to celebrate a birthday. We each ordered 2 drinks. My Margherita was delicious. I ordered the filet mignon entree as per the waiter's recommendation. My partner ordered a fish entree. We ordered several side dishes, the sweet potato fries, the asparagus and the brussel sprouts. 2 sides would have been more than enough. The veggies and the fries were good, not great. My partner liked the fish.

I have been to Mastro's on many occasions and have enjoyed the seafood tower, as well as the steak. This time, I did not like the steak. I took several bites and could not continue eating it. It was quite fatty and tasted mediocre. I have had better steaks in much less expensive restaurants.

The waiter saw that the steak was barely touched and did not inquire about it. He asked if we wanted dessert and we reminded him that we were celebrating a birthday. He brought us a slice of the complimentary chocolate cake to share with a candle on it.

The ambiance at Mastro's is lovely and elegant. The service is generally good. The complimentary dessert is a nice touch and one of the reasons I like going to this restaurant to celebrate birthdays. However, this time, they missed the mark. I would say for the price, the meal was not worth the expense.

Very pricey yet very delicious! If you can afford at least one night of classy dining , you should come here. It is truly amazing. As it is known for, their steak is out of this world! Never had a problem with the service there , they always treat their customers very well. I mean we are in Beverly Hills now.

They serve actual Waygu which is rare in the states. If you have the chance and are willing to drop $200 on a steak it might be the best decision ever.

I love this spot! Great steaks, atmosphere, good spot to meet girls too. So if you are single and want to hook up, this is the spot.

Mastro's might not be the best steak in the world (that is saved for a special place in Florence, Italy) but in terms of overall quality, service, location and taste - it's well worth the price of admission.

Service is pretty high up there with friendly and informative servers. Food was stellar with the lobster being my personal highlight (and a nice bread basket) and they're really accommodating for birthdays as they brought out a giant chocolate cake on the house with a candle. All very sweet. Decor was super nice (and of course, a full bar as well with a huge wine list).

Don't forget - come dressed up as they do enforce it (nothing too crazy though). Valet is available for $12 when I visited or some cheaper options around town if you can find a lot or street parking.

The hostess was terrible she literally said she will text me when the table is ready and she hasn t text me at all and I went inside to see how long the wait and I been outside for over two hours and that s how you run your business then you better look another hostess

Let me start by saying that this restaurant was not my choice. I was invited to a dinner here, and the experience from top to bottom was deplorable. As I was meeting friends and arriving late, I was not there to eat dinner but to have a few drinks with my visiting friends. I requested a cocktail menu 3x, and each time that request was met with a comment about my weight and why I was not eating..... It's 2018, and I am grown. If I ask for a cocktail menu and tell you that I have already eaten, why are you (a server, not my friend) asking if I'm "on a diet", telling me I "could use a steak", and that I "need to eat something"???? What the hell????? To boot, when my friends food arrived, it had obviously been sitting under the heat lamp for a hot minute. Everything was so overcooked, I could see where the heat lamp started re-cooking the food. The servers, for all of the pomp and circumstance, still don't actually know the art of fine dining service. As they set the food down, they constantly reached over us and almost knocked things down. Hug the guest y'all! We serve from the left and clear from the right! None of this is really that hard. All in all, I have no interest in going back here. If you're looking to be seen, insulted, and overpay for fine dining but receive fast-food service, this place is definitely for you.

Tonight we went to Mastro s for our anniversary. It was Excellent! From the valet attendants, to the hostess desk, and then our waitress Alison, they were all great!!!! They have quite a large crew working in the restaurant to give exceptional service! The food was phenomenal & the drinks were great too! The bread basket has an excellent assortment of fresh bread as well! We had a shrimp appetizer, steak and lobster, salad and a baked potato. What a fantastic meal! We were served a delicious piece of chocolate cake & a bowl of whipped cream on the side.

There are three floors to explore. The live music is interesting on the second floor and there's a DJ on the third floor. The place can get packed around the bar but it has a very lively ambiance.

I usually head straight upstairs to the bar... there's tons of open seating up there and that's where the live music is. Steak and service are awesome, but the music makes Mastro's special

The service is consistently prompt, awesome mood, very welcoming staff. Will visit again when I arrive in the area.

My favorite location for tasty quality meals. I give this spot a thumbs up. I had a cousin come into town and asked me to take him back here. Prices are fair I would say.
