Hotel good and accommodation in it convenient and foreigners in it feel comfortable for its location on the sea directly ... and the food is good and varied .. The rooms are clean and spacious ... and fresh water does not depend on it and must purchase mineral water on your account and preferably outside the hotel ...

Poor place. Bad restaurant - little choice - the waiters bring drinks from the kitchen with glasses. Totally absent animation. Bad internal services. Also not recommended by the inhabitants of Porto Ghalib.
Small cozy hotel with beautiful views of the harbor, the beach, the sea and the "desert". By its location it is very isolated. A shuttle takes us to the beach but it's only a 10 minute walk. The beach is not fine sand, there are small pebbles. By the presence of corals and stones, I advise shoes adapted to go in the water. Possibility to walk 1 way along the sea for 3 / 4H to go to the small port and there are hotels, restaurants, terraces, stalls. Otherwise 1 bus leaves the hotel, the return trip 2 . Possibility of excursions and dives at the hotel. The food is simple, good but not very varied. The 2 pools are not heated, access is by ladders. This is not a hotel suitable for children.
Delicious and varied self-service dinner. For dessert very tasty small cakes in different flavors. Breakfast also good and varied. Nice and spacious room. With a wonderful shower with hot water in winter
Nice hotel for people who just want to relax. Good facilities and very friendly staff There is also a good diving school of very good quality at the hotel.
Good for a week's holiday. The rooms in the photos look better than they actually are. Is cleaned every day. It's all a bit dated and a makeover can't hurt. There is little to do in the area and port ghalib is the only attraction but as a rule no more than a boulevard with shops and restaurants. Egypt has become very expensive in recent years, prices are sometimes higher than what you pay in the Netherlands. Animation team at Marina Lodge is a mockery and very amateurish. There is 1 place where you can get a drink even though there is another bar. Food is monotonous especially the breakfast. Furthermore, the afternoon and evening food is tasty but limited in choice. Do not expect luxury at this hotel. Better hotels can be found for the same money.
We were there for 5 nights. If you have no high standards or no claims, then the hotel is ok. The breakfast is not good, lunch and dinner are ok, unfortunately little choice. Beauty salon in the hotel is not professional at all, more broken than anything else. Jewelry shop well, the owner flirts a lot and gets pushy. Fragrance and cream salon is really great, owner is really nice and friendly.
The hotel is not worth it, and the furniture is worn and old. Room service The workers are complaining about the Egyptians Although most of the Egyptian visitors are committed to the opposite of the foreigners, the beach is very C and all the rocks are not at all the smell of the rooms are less edible than normal
One of the older hotels in Marsa Alam. Despite everything, it's good and the proximity of Port Ghalib where you can go for a walk. A large beach, there are usually animations so something happens there and during the day and in the evenings. The menu is fine. Generally, no high standard, but still maintained at the level and for this has a specific Arabic atmosphere.
The place is beautiful, and when I asked to air the cooler, it was changed, and the best thing about the hotel is the animation team, and there is a Nubian chef. I don t remember his name, very respectful. The place and the staff I didn't find anything bad and they were up to the expectations
12 hours transitional because of flight delay in this hotel. Okay at first glance, but very worn and dirty. No running water in the room for hours. Staff rude (except animation in English was great). during the few hours there, I got nausea and diarrhea.
Nice small hotel. Really quiet. Especially who like diving - this is good place to stay. Manta diving shop can provide everything for diving. Equipment was rather new and in very good conditions. Mares, Aqualung, Seasub etc. Good local cuisine. Shisha is available. Good to stay with friends. If you want to chose this hotel for some rest with children please stay at another one.
Cheap and cheerful. Came here for the diving , otherwise would not have picked it. Not great food. Room is very basic. A/C did not work. Hassled by the shop traders located in the hotel. Was not my cup of tea but lots of people seemed to like it.
We have been here twice, because it is very quiet there, almost no children, Russians. The bar is closed at 11 pm so no really drunk people, the hotel is around the pool, rooms are spacious, if a little more could have been refurbished everything is very old with little maintenance. If you want seaview, there is no view at most, or you have to bring binoculars to see the sea. The beach is not much for a wooden shack, where you can get something to drink with some unkempt beds and windshields, and if you follow the buoys there is a nice house reef, too bad it lies along the channel of the boats, but you snorkel by going to the right you can see a lot from rays to large turtles. You can cross over by bus or boat to Port Ghalip, but you have not seen anything in 1x, for something else to see is nice to stroll around the shops and pick up a terrace. All in all a very simple hotel with little maintenance, staff very friendly especially the animation team who with little try to maintain you every day. The food is good and variable for the price you pay, you are used to hotels from Hurghada or Sharm this is less, but you have to poke through, that's all bling bling here is peace, tranquility and peace in the middle of the a sandbox.
Although the hotel need some attention I would highly recommend it as it is clean the rooms are a good size the staff in all areas are excellent it has great access to the beach but most of all it's very relaxing so if you want to place to relax some sun I would highly recommended
Beautiful location, Best place to live if youre looking to dive. Emperor diving is on the resort property and boat access is on the property too. Food in general is quite terrible just about anywhere in Port ghalib. would recommend getting the all inclusive band to save cost on additional charges. Staffs quite strange, potentially due to communication barrier. definitely recommend staying here (not alot of alternate resorts available that are diving accessible.)
The hotel looks so good and clean the decorations, the pools and the location is so great . But the food wasn't really fresh it was very bad you can check the Orange's photo that I have added that was our lunch box oranges The bread was dry ,the lunch box only contains two sandwiches and an orange. Also the open buffet food wasn't fresh or tasty. The AC in our room wasn't working very efficient , sometimes the staff weren't nice because they prefer to serve foreigners than Egyptians which is not professional or Fair we pay the same fee maybe more so why is that ?
Hotel is nice but the service is poor as long you don't give tips.
Additionally all inclusive means for me that everything is included - discussions appeared later on due to additional fees for Espressos.
Christmas dinner has been sold as an extra - the guests where the travel agencies who didn't pay for this had to eat in a closed room - unacceptable! We complained and got a table outside but it's in general unfair for all the others.
Just 2 stars rating due to poor service people and medium food quality. All Egyptian meals were delicious.
Very unfriendly reception, hotel in desolate condition, rooms dirty, no hot water, no toilet paper and the drinks are inedible and glasses are totally dirty! Never again
After a 15-minute drive from the airport we arrived at the resort. (buy a visa at the counter on the left in the arrival hall! saves 10 euros) For the first time an all-Inn holiday, what a party! We were pampered for a week by the most friendly staff at the Marin Lodge. We had a spacious room with a great bed and all amenities including coffee / tea maker and clean sheets / towels every day. The three buffets (breakfast / lunch and dinner) were very extensive and every day there was a surprise in the dishes. the live cooking recipes were also delicious. The bar was open from 11 am to 11 pm. The house reef (300 meters from the hotel) accommodated a nice variety of fish! (put on water shoes!) On the beach was a free lounger and towel service. Here too, the drinks and cocktails (which were served at the seat) fell under the All-Inn formula. In the lobby people are always helpful for arranging an activity or excursion (negotiating the price pays :)) In short: a real recommendation, we will go again in October !!
A huge plus for the location - the hotel is located in a quiet, peaceful place, away from other hotels. Peace and quiet and wonderful relaxation :) Rooms not very modern, but large and clean, thoroughly cleaned every day. Two nice pools and lots of sunbeds. Service mostly przesympatyczna and smiling, although there were exceptions. Food varied, a large selection, everyone could find something for themselves. Very good dinners prepared by chefs, everyday something different and interesting :) This is a region that really has a lot to offer besides sunbathing - snorkeling, diving, cruises, quad bike tours in the desert with many attractions and regional food ... There is something to do and you can spend your time actively :) For me, the most beautiful were the coral reefs, which I could admire every day - it was enough to go out to the hotel beach, enter the water and plunge - everywhere magic of colors and thousands of creatures, something wonderful
I ve never been there, but I think it s fantastic. I want only alert everybody: DONT GIVE MONEY TO Basmala tourism and services they Are only thief. Them make photoes and videos about snorkeling but they don t give you nothing
