I got an email from a travel agency that a Malaysia airlines flight was delayed t by three hours (I was on my way to go to the airport by the way). I got no calls, no emails nor text from this company. One of the airline staff members told me that I need to book the ticket again because the flight was cancelled. Why do I have to book a ticket again by myself? Furthermore, why do I need to use my money again? Just gave me an email address and that was it. The delayed flight wasn't my fault and I arrived at the BKK airport 2hrs earlier than landing time. I showed my e-ticket and the crew checked the ticket. I had a ticket from BKK to Malaysia but I needed to wait till next morning to get to Sydney. It's 13 hrs later than the original time.
People told me Malaysia Airlines is horrible. But it turned out that this is the worst! Poor service and they didn't even try to find a ticket for me before I had asked. I won t recommend this airline to anyone and any of my family and friends! Whoever is reading this comment, I tell you that you might save a few bucks but you will lose precious time. Most of my plans were cancelled because of the delay. Think why people complain about this airline and try to fix the problem or respect customers at least. The most important person is the customer itself.
I had a huge lesson this time: DO NOT USE Malaysian Airlines.

What are the chances that you are taking three flights in one week and all those flights get delayed ? And better yet you do not get an apology or compensation after it.

Long story short, flight was booked in 30/Aug/19, through Malaysia Airlines, not a third party.
Was told on the 30/Oct (2 days before departure) that there was not enough time between connecting flights and I have to catch the next flight (causing a 13 hour layover, missing work, having to book a hotel (that MA will not cover)).

The Airline will not send an email/letter to reflect this so I can claim through insurance (as this admits fault or error in system) nor have they even offered a lounge pass for my inconvenience. Pathetic.

Malaysia Airlines have completely lost the plot, with no stability at management level the lost recently of yet another CEO and the complete lack of strategy, is having a profound effect across all of its services.

My recent journey from London to Kuala Lumpur on their ageing A380-800 highlighted their flaws and incompetence. Travelling business class and using their Business/First lounge which has not been fit-for-purpose for a decade or more. The Golden Lounge at Heathrow airport which has been in its current form to my knowledge for at least 20 years

Decrepitated, out dated , fuddy-duddy, conceived before the age of the Internet is deficient in the extreme.

Every aspect of this airline is outdated and dysfunctional. Starting with its booking process online with a website that does not contain many of the features of their competitors or any online travel business. Try reserving your seats online, in fact try finding any reference to seats on their website.

Don t even search for Wi-Fi, because there is none. Not on any aircraft that they operate. Every competitor of Malaysian Airlines offers Wi-Fi, in particular in business class. Malaysia have been aware of this deficiency since at least 2015 and have yet to implement this very basic business need across their fleet.

Multi adapter charing sockets in lounges and onboard, do mot exist. It is as if, the entire information age has passed Malaysian Airlines by.

The interior of the aircraft in business class on this particular journey was very tired, filth between the seats. In-flight entertainment that hasn t structurally changed for 10 years, some of the entertainment itself hasn t been changed at all . The toilets were appalling, not clean.

Furthermore, an inability to hold a connecting Malaysian Airlines flight from Kuala Lumpur to Phuket, Scheduling it s departure one hour before the arrival of the long haul inbound flight.

Necessitating the passengers to stay overnight at the airport for the first connection in the morning. This is gross mismanagement incompetence of planning, in the extreme.

Having lost two aircraft they still continue to fly over Ukraine and other conflict zones.

Bad experience with Malaysia airline .. we had 26ppl flights from PNH to London via KL and back and both way we lost our luggages !!! One of our student lost her cellphone on the plane and the flight attendant found it and told us to email but when we emailed them, they never reply our email.. I went to lost and found department to claim it as the flight attendant told me they left it there, ppl over there said they can t do anything and told me to email again.. the lady that work there was not helpful at all... she kept mentioning different flight and won t willing to check again!! 2 stars cuz their plane seat were very roomy, food good and short lay over.. but I don t think I will flight with them again with my next group tour!!!

Rubbish airlines. Flight delay 2 times.

Rubbish airlines. Flight delay 2 times.

Supposed departing 13:20 delay to 13:50. Second delay to 14:20.

When reach KL sentral drop baggage refer back to 14:20, which is 12:00 and 2 hours before drop luggage. The ground staff said is refer to 13:50 and not latest 14:20.

This is really rubbish Airlines, those who are taking malaysia airlines pls go to KL sentral early as your initial flight schedule.

After check in And drop baggage @ KLIA and the system only update flight delay 13:50 and not delay to 14:20.

If the passenger follow your SMS and miss the flight, are you going to compensate? How can I believe your latest update on flight detail?

Even thought there are some issues with Enrich online redemption portal, the service at Enrich/MAS counter at KL Sentral is excellent! Very friendly and helpful staff. No waiting time. Well done MAS!

So I missed my connection due to earlier delay and...

So I missed my connection due to earlier delay and the airline was waiting in me to give me my voucher. It took 90 minutes to get my suitcase and 3.5 hours total from the time I stepped off the plane until I got in my voucher hotel. It took over 1 hour to get a shuttle. Nobody would take the shuttle voucher and nobody from the airline knew how to find anyone to take it.

Customer service at the MH office in Sentral is good and prompt. As. Frequent flyer, I was recognized and had little or no wait to get my luggage tags re-printed. Thank you!

June 11 - just got the email that the KL Sentral office will cease printing replacement MH cards (and vouchers) from July 15, 2016 onwards. :(

It's a check in counter for Malaysia Airlines. If you are travelling by Malaysia Airlines then you can directly check in here, drop your luggage and you can get the direct boarding pass. The area is big and not so much rush. Great arrangement and service.

Was nervous about flying Malaysia air for the first time. Last week we flew from India to KL to Bali and back. I was impressed with their service. For some of the legs there was about a 30 min delay at the most. The plane from KL to India is really nice and has your own personal entertainment center. The touch screen does not work very well. Food was good. Staff was very nice. Overall a good experience and would fly this airline again.

Dec 2016, I took MAS to Bangkok with 2 different b...

Dec 2016, I took MAS to Bangkok with 2 different booking (2 person = 1st booking, 7 person = 2nd booking), before departure, 2nd booking rcvd inform that return flight be delay, but 1st booking did not rcv any inform (even thought on line checking also remain same no change) ; till the day of return, 1st booking 2 person arrived Bangkok airport just be informed the flight be delayed to 2nd day, & the MAS office at that airport also be closed (there is around 7pm), totally cannot get any feedback.
after came back, I submitted doc to claim insurance, till now, be informed that claim cannot be processed, b'cos MAS not admitted their delay, & not issue letter for insurance process.
what's fxxx MAS, delayed flight w/o inform, waste my time in Bangkok, now still not issue letter for me to claim insurance, really TMD.

One of the MAS office and basically you can do mostly here. Relocated to Nu Sentral shopping mall L2 recently. Basically long queue here even there are 8 counters to serve. You are required to take number ticket. However, for easy inquiry, you can go directly to the reception without queuing. Service sometimes might be a little slow so recommend to do it online. However you are required to do it here for certain inquiry.

The airline must be shut down with immediate effect. The scale to rate this airline and it's incompetent staff is not low enough ..
They are incapable of transporting passengers and their checked in luggage together. No wonder they have misplaced their own jet plane and are unable to locate it even after 4 years.

I was travelling on a business class ticket from kl to Delhi and I checked in my luggage at kl sentral's Malaysia airlines check-in counter with klia express.

Upon arrival in Delhi, I was informed that my checked-in baggage is delayed and after nearly 22 days I was offered a sum of USD 110 as settlement. No apology, no offer for help in claiming insurance.

They have no standards of service and safety regulations are regularly ignored. The flight crew even in business class are rude and careless and male stewards (specially those of South Indian descent) are just plain obnoxious and should be working in road side tea stalls rather than in an airline.

The day will come when the activities and frauds of this corrupt company from Malaysia will be punished and Allah will condemn all from malaysia airlines to hell .

Avoid using this disease which masquerades as an airline ..
