Went to buy a refrigerator, great service from the salesman however their delivery fees are R300 which is too pricey

The usual Makro shopping experience,found what I was looking for.Got what I needed and got out of there!

They have everything but prices are very high for a store that promotes bulk buying. Staff also non existent or chatting with their buddies mostly. They also don t know the product which results in me having to return shot more often than not.

It is a very big store offering just about everything you can think of at reasonable prices. It is conveniently situated and most of all wheelchair friendly .

From groceries to appliances you are sure you gonna save a good couple of rands.

Good service I got about a week ago. Customer service desk there was a gentleman that assisted me & was very clued up on the service they offer. Very short queues. Friendly consultants

Bought a new fridge on Saturday. Took delivery today. Noticed a dent in the side when removed packaging. Spoke to salesperson - Wafiek Noble. He said he would call me before 6pm this evening to discuss options. He didn't. What to do now? Wait until tomorrow?

MAKRO DID RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM WHEN WAFIEK CALLED ME A DAY LATER. ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL.

Poor customer care. Called to find out if they can check if they have stock left on the floor, so I don't waste my petrol. The women told me they not allowed to check what's on the floor. That's ridiculous. That means her job is redundant. She is useless if she can't help customers.

Un organised the staff has no customer service skills they talk in diff languages infront of u...

Really good in store prices but service sometimes lacking

Makro Store Ottery is Nice but just make sure u go there at the right time because u might have to wait in long queues if u dont, check the store time scheduled on google other go online that is ur best bet

Went shopping here (against my will) and they certainly have improved vastly. The specials on offer have improved drastically. The checkout queue was extremely long, but well monitored and moved quite quickly. All in all Makro, in my opinion is worth a visit.

Very Bad labeling of prices causes more confusion and unnecessary delays especially when you get to the till point

Huge variety of whole sale products at whole sale prices

I received an order on Friday the 28th May, with the incorrect product delivered. I have tried to contact your call center several times. The call rings a few times and goes to a voice mail message. I have also emailed with no response! Somebody did get back to via email on the 3rd June, promising to escalate the issue. No further contact since! Order reference is MAK2555389. I'm sure you can pickup my contact details from the order. Please get in touch with me urgently as we are now approaching a Month since the incorrect item was delivered.

Very big store but not the best range or most helpful staff except in the electronics department.

I always love makro, it has everything I need, before I even know I need it. A brilliant store that I would go broke for any day.

Good value for money! The place does get overcrowded over the weekends but it's convenient and while the queues are very long the wait isn't that long.

At Makro you will find a huge selection of different goods. This specific Makro feels smaller, floor space wise, than other Makro's. However same great deals.

Makro is a super mega full house store with everything you could possibly want to buy.

Large bulk store with good prices and good variety. The tills may need improving as I waited over 30 minutes in a que to pay for a few items

They have a great selection of Electronics and other things etc. They have really great deal with competitive pricing and a wide selection of everything from groceries to cleaning products till DIY and gym equipment.

great and huge place to shop for self and for home and businesses service good.. one of the great thing there is Muslim prayer place what really pleased me and lot other Muslim customer. price really good and you can get extra discount if u buy huge amount of stock. but all the staff and management are good and helpful.. but one of bad things is that place been robed many times so its really concern the customers.. otherwise its great place..

Old warehouse sale store which could use updating. Prefer the milnerton branch as its cleaner plus stock seems less tampered with and the layout is better.

Order placed and delivered within 3 days during lockdown. Very impressive

only certain items are worthwhile to.buy but most of the products is kinda pricey, they lure you with worthwhile to buy items

Online Locker Delivery Service APPALLING. DO NOT USE IT!!!!!! I ordered a hair clipper online almost one month ago. The website said 5 to 7 days delivery time which is completely false advertising. I still do not have it. I can on their website tracking see that they only packaged it for delivery after three weeks which was 4 days ago. I have placed a few calls to their help line and got through once, I was told that orders are delayed because of Corona. I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered, their poor service predates Corona by months. A friend of mine ordered the exact same item on Takealot and it arrived AT HIS HOUSE in 2 days. MAKRO SERVICE IS A DISGRACE!!!
