I find the cash out horrendous. I had 2 small items there was one express queue crazy. Needless to say I dropped the items and left the store.

This store is great for many reasons. They need to replace their trolleys. Most of the trolleys are damaged and defective. Many of of the the senior citizens struggle with it.

Really enjoying their rewards app. The store could be more competitive though...

It's a Makro, so it stocks what any Makro would. The staff on the floor and tillpoints are terrible at communication though. One cashier called us to her tillpoint and then we had to wait while she finished purchasing mobile data for her colleague. No employee showed any interest in the task at hand. Completely uninspired. Except for literally the 1 guy that help us at the office furniture department. He was effective. Oh well. It's South Africa, right?

Ample parking and friendly staff. Prices are fairly good but the ques are always long.

Incorrect opening hours published.. Stood outside for nearly an hour

Problem some staff members they busy talking to each other so we must wait till they finish their conversation.

I love the great service from the friendly staff. Whatever you guys are doing, keep it up!

Pathetic customer service. Left waiting while cashier first finished her conversation with another cashier before helping me. No hello, no goodbye.

Store is a little lack luster in terms variety on products and check your slips as some specials don't actually pull through as they should and you end up paying full price.

Extremely busy in store. Long queues at security exits . Prices are good with a wide selection.

No issues with the overall shopping experience but the size of the receipt is just ridiculous. Imagine the amount of paper that is wasted daily! How about creating an online receipts system that links to your Makro card?

Good store. Fairly quick service and wide variety of goods at reasonable prices.

Good selection of food clothes stationery tv camera toys office desk chairs paint sporting equipment gardening hardware etc and reasonably priced

Makro is Makro... Large, crowded with helpful staff

Random in store discounts can be great but the long lines might not be worth it

It's a bit small compared to the Montague Gardens one and very limited with variety.

It has pretty much everything you need and the staff are friendly and professional.

There is more hysters than customers you can't even walk properly here

Spent there on Black's day .... Visit my colleague on duty having made small purchases to share the day.

Closest thing to the Buymore in Chuck, and has great specials too!

Went to the tv display units. What a disappointment. Your display units are all broken. At least make it more presentable to show your customers. BTW I did not purchase one.

Not very neat compared to other Makro's, I suppose it's due to the area.

For a brand like Makro, it was a big shame and unacceptable to chase all the customers out just because of load shedding. This happened on Human Rights Day at 14:20. A lot of trolleys full of goods remained there with no clear explanation.

Staff gave us the runaround trying to locate the manager of the small appliance section to help validate our new kettle extended warrantee. We waited 30 minutes and this is not good enough. Sanitizing and distancing were at least enforced.

Great staff ready at hand to help you buy something LOL just watch out you might wanna buy the store so much to choose from an a lot of things to buy

I don't often shop here but they have nice specials, especially seasonal time.

Although I didn t find what I wanted. The lady that assisted me was courteous, friendly and showed interest in finding the item for me.

Standing outside in the queue to go inside takes a bit too long. I think maybe their system is not working like they thought it would. Staff in electronic department not very helpful, maybe it's because they have less staff now under lockdown. But otherwise it's very nice to shop there.

A variety of products all under one roof. Great for buying in bulk or just picking up household items.

I always get what I'm looking for here at the best prices. The staff are always so helpful and go out of their way to assist. The food section has recently blossomed and can rival many other FMCG retailers. This is the perfect place to shop for necessities.

My first time making a purchase. I had to leave the long line to get a card I didn't want. Get attitude when applying for card. Get even worse attitude by the cashier, the look of I don't want to be here. I will never visit them again. Waste of time and petrol. The things I wanted was out of stock which was understandable but the staff just pushed me over the edge with their attitude.

Confusing layout for groceries. Trollies need to be serviced as front wheels lock

Been around for ages so feels and looks old compared to their other Cape Town store, nothing wrong with that but if you want a nicer overall experience go to the other one.

This store has so much to offer. You can get electronics or office equipment. Food in bulk or single items. Look out for there 4 for R100 specials. They also have a fairly good selection of fresh vegetables and frozen food options. Unfortunately there is often insufficient cashier's working, do be prepared for a long queue. There is plenty of parking and there is wheelchair accessible parking right outside

Suggestion maybe to upgrade bulk buyers exit. 3 tills open and fork lift trying his best to squeeze stock into that area with all of us there and trolleys. Then to try and all get out one exit still to be checked. Nightmare.

Service is always satisfactory, value for money when shopping at this store.
