They have no organization. Do you buy the tickets online, but you have to get there like 6 am to get a real ticket, and maybe you can get the boat like 3pm. But not sure. The employees have no patience to explain what you have to do. They don t explain anything on they website. I drove 6 hours, tried two day get in on the boat.

Once in a lifetime you Must go for it.

Make sure you stand near the edge of the boat to get soaked in the mist when the boat approach the fall

Awesome tour which takes you close to falls and it makes you feel wonderful for the nature's things. Highly recommended to take a ride though we had to wait for more than 2 hours. Worth watching but they should arrange more boats.

It s an incredible view when the boat takes you close to falls and you can feel the mist. It s so refreshing. I had to wait in the queue for about 2 hours since they were using only 1 boat for some reasons but it was really worth the wait.

This is a must do experience. We purchased the Discover Pass so we could have several experiences and I would highly recommend purchasing that early in the day. There are several places you can get them. We bought ours at the park. We got there around 9 but I wish we would have gone earlier. The lines for everything we a a little long but not terrible. Everything about the Maid of the Mist is a win. You will get as wet or stay as dry as you want to. Make sure you bring a camera that can get a little wet as well or bring a zip lock bag to protect yours because you will want to take pictures for sure.

You get herded and packed into the boat like cattle, and if you stop to try to put on the trash-bag like poncho, you get scolded by the cattle-herders. But there truly is no better way to experience Niagra Falls. And that trash bag actually does a spectacular job of keeping you dry. It's not glamorous, but it is well worth the entrance fee.

Awesome

If you visited Niagara Falls but didn t try Maid of the Mist Boat, then you simply didn t visit Niagara Falls. A beautiful experience not to be missed. The price for two adults was around $38. There s a trip every 15 minutes, so the wait was not long, which was quite a good thing.

Incredible experience worth every penny! This is definitely something to do when visiting the falls as you cannot grasp the full beauty of them until you are up close and drenched in midst. You definitely get pretty soaked as you get closer but they hand out ponchos to everyone before boarding.

The boat trip is definitely worth it! Very impressive, so close to the waterfalls. Shortly before closing is usually not so much going on and you can save the queuing. At sunset, the atmosphere is very impressive anyway!

Definitely worth the time and money!! We went as a family of 6 with children ages 1, 8, 12, and 16. Our 8 yo is always cold so we went prepared with a Columbia rain suit for her. And we took a raincoat for our 1 yo and he was content with that. The rain poncho you receive with the tour is fine also but adding an extra layer of rain wear is also a good idea- Especially for younger kids because you DO get wet! That being said though, you can also chose to be at the back of the boat and you won t get as much mist . Our crew loved the water and getting wet so we stayed at the front of the boat. If you know you want to be near the front, arrive early. It does get a bit rocky on the boat as you get closer to the falls, so I suggest Dramamine before hand if you tend to get motion sickness. One of our favorite tours!!!!

Stand on the right-hand side in front ... the best Aussicht.at great fun ... don't forget waterproof cell phone cases !!!

The boat ride was great. We were soaked by the end. The line moved quickly. My dislike is due to the plastic rain gear they provide not properly disposed of after the ride. The blue capes were everywhere. When I think of the foot traffic just that day times the season times 4 boats (Canadian side too) and the water pollution if more plastic I'm upset. It's as simple as having an employee collect them at the end just like an employee hands them out at the beginning. Do away with them. Have people bring their own!

We had such a good time. We stood on the top deck at the very front. I myself would suggest standing back a little ways because when you get close to the falls, it's hard to keep your eyes open because of the force of the water. And even though I had my raincoat on and the hood tied my hair got very wet. The price is very reasonable. Do not take one of those tour buses for $80, they have a free tram that will take you to 14 sites for free and you pay admission when you get there. Much cheaper. We had a wonderful day!

We went in April. It was freezing, with about 30 degree temperature, and 70 mile per hour winds. The river was thought in the morning, then a solid sheet of ice in the afternoon, and then thawed again in the evening. The Mist coming off of the falls felt like ice needles on our faces. It was painful to pee outside, but we couldn't get ourselves to go back in. It's an absolutely amazing spectacle, and you have to experience it at least once in your lifetime. It's great for the whole family. And there are lots of parks and free things to do in the area. Highly recommended

A must-do in Niagara Falls. You haven't seen the falls for real if you haven't taken the boat ride! My favorite thing in Niagara Falls, it's breathtaking! Just try to avoid holiday weekends and hot midsummer weekends if you can, because the crowds do get pretty insane. Speaking of which, the Maid of the Mist has made a lot of improvements this year to accommodate the large number of tourists and provide a much better experience for everyone.

Great experience on the boat but the 40 min wait on the observation deck surrounded by pushy and rude Indians ruins the beginning of the activity.
One bit of advice... hold on to you re friends and family by the shoulders so they don t barge past you and bump you obnoxiously
