The worst ticketing system I have ever seen! We were here for the Labor day weekend! To get tickets we came at 9 am and scanned a QR code to register! We were told that we will receive a text message in 1 to 2 hours, giving us permission to join the line for getting tickets! At 1 pm we got a text message telling us to get in line, which is still not a guarantee we will be able to get a ticket! We stood in line for 3 hours and finally managed to get tickets at 4 pm. We boarded the boat 1 hour later, basically 1 whole day was wasted for something that could have been easily managed with online reservation!

I gave it 5 stars because it is awesome. Now, the FOUR HOURS waiting in line was unbearable in 90+ degree heat and full sun. You could leave the line for water or bathroom if you had someone in your party stay in line. No accomodations for the disabled. Two hours into the wait, when we got to the ticket booth, there was no leaving the line. Very hard on my disabled husband.

0When we visited Niagara Falls it was a very hot day. The line for Maid of the Mist was super long. We had to wait outside for a very long time in the direct sun. They should consider putting up some kind of roofing over the waiting area due to longer waiting times. Our kids were excited but the direct sun and heat were making them cranky. We received a poncho that was the wrong size for our littles. The ride itself was smooth and informative. Others on the boat were kind of pushy and not understanding to a three year old wanting to see too.

Seeing Niagara Falls is not fun, getting in the mist is Don t miss it.

We took to boat from USA side. It was 4th July weekend and gosh, so many people are there, we waited for around 1.5 hrs to get in the boat and it can cause people to get passed out in hot summer. They put a LOT of people on each ride. Basically, they fill the boat to capacity. If you want to take pictures or get the most of your ride, You need to pass them, say "excuse me," and you can pretty much do what you want. You will get wet, but if you wear that blue plastic wear, you shouldn't get totally soaked. The boat does get really close to the falls. When I got that "pouring rain" feeling. You can see boat comes from Canada side and they wear the red plastic sheet. You can wave each other.

The boat passes the American Falls, providing a great view. The mist part comes up as you enter the area by Horseshoe Falls. With the U-shape of the falls, you find yourself practically surrounded by the falls; mist flying through the air, rainbows appearing everywhere, wind whipping. Several amazing moments are spent here before heading back to the dock.

You can return back to the top right away by heading to the elevators after docking, or you can head past that entrance to check out the Crow's Nest. This is a winding staircase that lets you get close to the American Falls and check out more views of the area. When you return to the top, the Maid of the Mist elevators opens up by the Observation Tower.

The ticket is around $20 but totally worth it. Absolutely breathtaking.

Very unorganized its just a free for all to get to the boat but that being said once you can get on the boat there's no better view! If it weren't for the great views I would never go back.

The boat tour is incredible, especially in the very front bow section of the boat. We got soaked! Even wearing ponchos. The elevator system is horrendously slow though, they need to do something to speed that up. We were waiting in line for hours...probably 20x longer than the boat ride took or more.

Three stars because my kids loved it and the staff were awesome. My main complaint is the price. It was well over $100 for a 10 min boat ride. Granted, it was a nice experience, but, come on. They are aware that they are the only option. No competition leading to price GOUGING AT IT'S FINEST. It disgusts me that they do this to people just trying to have a little vacation....... I imagine that the red tape allowing competition is insane, and would not be surprised to find out that some sort of government corruption is present.... all preventing competition. They really, really should feel ashamed every single time a customer swipes their credit card.

Pay the admission!!! Trust me, it's worth every penny. You get to see the falls in their full glory and get a thrill in the process as the ferry takes you very close to the falls. Yes you get wet even with the provided poncho but not drenched. It is truly amazing and kids under 6 I believe are free. If you don't want to get very wet, you can go on the lower deck and would probably still have an awesome view. Get the ticket and enjoy this amazing experience.

very poor service the manager mike and all his team are highly unprepared for function, ask to buy online and say they will guarantee your tour and it doesn't happen, i came to niagara falls and i couldn't make the coolest tour due to the IMCOPETENCE of the company that provides this service.

Best experience ever. If you are planning Niagara Falls trip don t miss it. This tour is best for all age groups the another tour cave of the winds won t be the recommend for old age and 1 ,2 year olds. But I would recommend this one. You can bring your mobile phones for photos and videos but dslrs at your own risk. Online booking does not help.

We drove 6 hours from Yonkers, NY to spent the weekend of 09/18 to 09/20 at the Niagara. It was beautiful days , we walked a lot but the Boat service is NOT GOOD . We waited from 12:00 to 3:37 pm at the line under the hot sun, when we finally got to last part before to pay the MANAGER came forward to tell us we are out of service that day only because he made a mistake counting us. He passed by my crew like 3 times in those 3 hours waiting but he never said anything . A group of 40/50 people was left out and not only that , they are so rude and careless . My advise is to get there before 8 am .

One of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. When you're on boat and close to the falls that feeling is just amazing and beautiful . I would definitely go there again if I visit Niagara Falls again!

This is the best way to see Niagara Falls up close. I've done this at least four times, probably more than that. My favorite part is looking at the boats from above after and seeing how close they actually get. The perspective is much different from the water. Also, it's hard to beat the feeling of the mist on your face and the breeze from the force of the water. It's always a moving experience for me.

Great attraction to visit! The views and mist from Horseshoe and American Falls is incredible to witness! Really fun! Long line of people going back up the elevator, but its far better than walking/hiking back up!

I purchased tickets online but there's no advantage to that. The line begins to form by 9am even though they say they open at 10. You buy your ticket and continue in the line, so there's no timed ticket to return. It can be a long wait, sometimes in the sun, so be prepared. Use the restooms before the ticket booth otherwise you have to wait. Social distancing was left to individuals, so when you have an unmasked person breathing down your neck in line, you have to speak up and ask the person to mask up and/or step back. No distancing on the boat. The actual boat ride is SO impressive. The disposable ponchos help to keep dry. I don't see a way to do Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds in the same day unless maybe you go with a tour guide. Cave of the winds requires in person ticket purchased for day of, but they give you a timed ticket to return for entry.By the time we did Maid of the Mist first thing in the morning, the Cave of the Winds tickets were sold out. Get to Cave early (8:30am) to purchase timed ticket and then go get in line for Maid of the Mist... maybe that will get you to both in one day?

Excellent! Excellent!! Excellent!!!

Niagara Falls Boat tour. Be prepared for crowded streets, lots, ambling pedestrians and long lines. However, the Falls and experience are worth it. You will get wet (at least on the upper deck). Ponchos are provided. The walk outside and to the observation deck provide different views. Walking the Rainbow Bridge (not too long) also has great view views. Passport or passport card needed to re-enter on the bridge. Passport not needed for the boat tour.

A rare experience for all tourists at a reasonably priced ticket. This boat tour is really great and full of excitement especially when it reaches at its nearest point just below the fall, when you find yourself in the midst of dense mist of the Niagara Fall, and you forget yourself and find yourself in the grip of excitement of experience. Not to be missed.
