Excellent experience! Beautiful and world top view!

Went here as part of our long awaited honeymoon. I'd been here before but my wife had never been. The tour is fun and spectacular and well worth the cost!

This tour was better than I could of hoped. Would do again.

Did this as a kid about 15 years ago and will eventually have to take my spouse.

Waiting in line was worth it. Maybe my favorite vacation of all time. At least top 3.

Great way to see an up close view of Niagara Falls. This attraction is well run. The employees keep everyone moving. I would highly suggest going during the week as the weekends get very busy.

Good tour to see Niagara Falls!! Always crowd by many tourists around the world!!! You have to be line to get the tickets!! They give us a rain coats to protect us from soak by the water. The line to get to the boat looks like too looooong but actually the line move easily so you can get the boat soon after you get in line. I highly recommend you to get a position in the head of the boat because everybody put their arm up to take photo closing to the fall so it doesn t look well behind. But you can enjoy the shower by the fall. This boat is from USA side. You can also get a boat from Canada side. The boat is different stuff. So you want to see the fall from the other side and put a red raincoat you should take the bridge to get to the Canada side!!

Trip worth the money! You go into the park and purchase tickets for the boat tour and for a small fee you can also go out on the observation deck. You go down the elevators grab a poncho and board the Maid Of the Mist. The boat heads out and right away you see the Bridals Veil side of the falls! We got soaked by the spray and it was absolutely beautiful! The boat the goes on to the horse shoe falls. At each stop the captain stops and turns the boat a time or two so everyone can get a good view! It's fun for all ages and won't disappoint!!!! One other thing....the best time to do your trip is the FIRST tour of the day. It starts at 9 am. I didn't want to get up that early....we had to leave our hotel by 8:20 to get there in time, but IT WAS SO WORTH IT!!! When we got off the boat and back up to the top the lines were HUGE! You have to stand in lines outside, sometimes in shade and mostly in the sun, so the first tour gets you a free pass to walk right on through with no lines!!!! Lol

Out of control trying to get off boat, unorganized and very unsafe, waited 2 hours after boat ride to get an elevator back to top, too many people very hostile....need to get that straightened out before someone gets hurt

If you are near the falls, you have to go on the Maid of Mist boat Ride. It was $18.50 and you could see views from the observation deck included. I went on a Saturday, lines were not long at all, waited 5-10 minutes to get on the boat and did not book ahead of time. You won t get wet if you wear the poncho that is provided! Fun for all ages, with my group there was a big 90th birthday being celebrated!

Great tour! Only about 20 minutes but that is all that is needed. Line may seem long but they move you through it very quickly. Definitely need the rain poncho they give you. The tour provides some information on the ride and endless opportunities for great pictures.

Holy moly no photographs do justice to the experience of the falls

The best experience to feel the power of the falls up close. Rat tip: The change was cheaper than the tours on the Canadian side.

Loved it. We stood right near the front on the lower deck and it was amazing.

It's like flipping a coin, if you get on lower deck, good luck enjoying the view for which you waited in line and spend $20. If you get on the upper deck, you will enjoy. They overload the ship to make more money.

great expedience to see the majestic Niagara Falls. The Maid of the makes you feel you have embraced the falls. If given time to visit the place, I will still ride the boat.

As some people have mentioned in the other reviews, the actual boat tour that goes to the middle of the falls is amazing but the before and after lines for the boat ride is plain horrible. They have 4 elevators that go down and up from the park area to the lower level where the boat picks people up. I do not understand why they have to keep the people reliant on the elevators (other than to keep the ticket prices high). They should just make a staircase and have the elevators as a choice. Currently, their crowd management and emergency procedures are non-existent.

While coming back up from the boat ride, we had to stand for about 2-2.5 hours to get upstairs. They said that they had some kind of breakdown and only 1-2 of the elevators were working. The area before the elevators had no shade at all. More than a couple people fainted and it was mostly a nurse guy who was helping them. Just to be clear, the person was a visitor too, not from the management side. For drinking water, they sent down one 20 litre dispenser bottle after an hour which was used up in minutes and then their were no more (for more than 500 people). I started doubting whether it was worth the 15 min experience.

This was such a cool experience! They give you a poncho before you get onto the boat, where you can pick to be up on the top deck (better view I think) or on the bottom deck. The boat goes right up to both the American falls and the Horseshoe falls and it is awesome! You do get kinda wet and the wind really whips once you get up close, but it is so cool and worth it.

This is a great way to experience the Falls. I've gone with several different groups and everyone always loves it. I prefer this over Cave of the Winds but if you have time, do both.

EXCELLENT!!!! I loved it....A great weekend getaway for the family.....And not very expensive either...

Do it atleast once kinda experience. The wait to the boat was short and we boarded in half hour. The horse-shoe falls have the best feelers with the mist, noise of the waterfalls and an almost 360 view. There are two levels on the boat and the top one is where you ll have a greater visibility. If you end up on the lower level like us, good luck running around and trying getting to an edge which definitely won t happen for everyone. I give 5 stars for the falls but only 3.5 for the boat tour. The observatory deck at the top has some great views though.View from the top on the Goat Island more than made up for it.

The boat ride was actually extremely good having the mist of the falls in your face was awesome. Getting so close to the falls was great. The only issue is when you try to return up out of the gorge it took us 2 hours to come out. People were passing out at the bottom waiting to get up on the elevators.It almost destroyed the entire experience

It was great. I have gone two times and both times it was jaw dropping. I was able to take some cool pictures and was a fun experience going into the horseshoe, also the falls look huge when you are on the water. Hope you like it.

We had a great time! Even if you are handicapped in a wheelchair, power chair, or an adult walker like me,, access is fairly easy.

Horrible. Drive all the way here-2hours with 4 kids, wait in line, SIGN STATED last boat at 5pm and is turned away at 4:15 being told no more boats. THEY SHOULD ADVERTISE TO BE HERE BEFORE 3!!!!

If you are going to visit Niagara Falls you absolutely have to experience the falls from the Maid of the Mist Boat tour. We arrived the night before and naturally went out to the falls to see them, they were grand and inspiring. I noticed the boats down below going into the falls and decided that we were going to take the trip. I was pleasantly surprised at the low cost of only 20 bucks per person. It is worth every dime. The tickets are not for any specific time, but for any day during the season. We arrive early the next morning and got on one of the first boats. The falls were impressive from down below, but as you got closer, wow the power of Niagara Falls. Trust me take the Maid of the Mist Boat tour

Incredible walk to admire the falls. It is advisable to wear a coat since you get a little wet on the way. The scenery is amazing and totally worth it, especially if you are not going to cross the Canadian side.

Although the pricing gis high, it is definitely worth it. It is an experience that everyone should have at least once in their life style.

On holiday in Canada, we walked across the bridge into the USA, and it was blowing a gale. The maid of the mist trip was amazing, didn't have to wait too long and the gale force winds only made the experience more exciting. Well worth while

Unbelievable experience! Looking at it from the usual viewpoint is one thing, but being at the bottom of it and looking up at the falls really puts it in perspective for you how massive and powerful these falls really are!

Always a great family activity and one of a kind experience.

The experience of getting close to the Niagara Falls is highly recommended, but at the same time not a must. The rain cape is definitely worth it.
