Classic, touristy Niagara adventure! It is everything you hoped it would be. The line is quite long. Go as early as you can because everyone thinks if they go early, they will beat the rush. You won't. Everyone goes early and even more people go late, so expect the line. Absolutely beautiful! Do it!

The experience could be rated with 4, maybe with 5 stars. Personally, I was bothered by assembly line processing, where I had to hand in my ticket again to get on the ship. Certainly a topic of sustainability and cost savings - I would still have liked to keep the card as a reminder.

2hr queue to get on the boat followed by 2hr queue to get it off. The 15min on the boat was great but the service was just so bad I'd recommend just staying at the viewing platforms up top!

False advertising! We bought our tickets on line to skip the line . We get their and 3 times were unable to get on. We were told that these are not tickets, just vouchers!! We stood in line twice to get shut down both times.

Had an awesome time on the Maid of the Mist boat tour! Super friendly staff, breath taking views, very affordable prices, and great food at the cafe! Make sure to buy a day pass for the trolley, and stop at the Cave of the winds.

Visiting for Australia and we were amazed at the value of water, we went everywhere and had so much fun on the cruise even though we were drench at the end we laughed so hard.Highly recommend.

We waited 2 1/2 hours in the rain for a 20 minute ride. Very inefficient ticket process. They should sell timed entry tickets so people don't have to snake through their endless line. On Saturday one worker said they would open at 8 am. Website said 10 am, phone recording was out of date. No one answers the phone on weekends! In pouring rain they handed out rain ponchos not when we purchased tickets, but an hour later, before we got on the boat. Only one boat running and huge crowds September 12-13.

Yes, you get up close to the bottom of the falls. But it's a cold, wet ride. If you can't see without your glasses, skip it. They get so covered in mist you can't see anything.

We had a great time on the Maid of the Mist! We went early in the day and there was no wait!! We rode the elevator down and got our ponchos. There was no line so we walked right on the boat. We got a great railing spot! The ride is about 20 minutes and it s super fun. You get a great view of all the falls and go almost up into horseshoe falls. The ponchos help but it is windy so you will get a little damp regardless. The ponchos say Maid of the Mist and you can take them home! Super fun and a must do in Niagara!

Being so close to a great force of nature is an amazing experience and Maid of the Mist gets you exactly that experience.

The queue and wait time to get the tickets and then get to the elevator can get quite daunting but being on board is worth it.

The boat takes you quite close to the main fall and stays there for a bit so that you may soak in that feeling. The wiff of cool breeze and the mist from the falls makes up for it all.

It is a once in a lifetime experience. Not to be missed.

Excellent..handicap accessible, so my husband could enjoy the ride, with the rest of his family..our grandchildren were in awe as headed toward Horseshoe Falls..
I loved it, the myst hitting our faces, the rainbow..
Crazy busy, but only waited about 15mins for boat to load..
It was worth it..

The boat tour was very misty. We were given ponchos and a post card. It was about $19 for adults and $11 for children under 13 (2 and under free). There's an observation deck as well ($1.25), t ok y get a better view of the falls heading to the boat.

Don't get on a boat full of a tour group only because they all have a camera and they want to take pictures more than you and will block your view. Try to get a ride when it's slow. Beautiful experience with rainbow. Prepare to get wet.

Don t bother buying your ticket online to try and save time by not having to wait in line to purchase one. You still have to wait in a mile long line to exchange your electronic ticket for a paper one. Completely ridiculous!

They have you stand in line 6 feet apart when waiting for tickets and to board the boat (you can no longer buy a set time slot, just the next one that leaves). Then they cram everyone into the boat, no social distancing. They don't even bother to wipe down the hand rails on the boat before the next group boards. Great views on the boat, but not worth the price or stress. Only a 15 minute boat ride.
