While going to Niagara..this is a mandatory activity and you will enjoy at the best on a week day.. weekend and holidays it is over crowded..on boat go on the top floor corner view so that you will enjoy at the best ..don't buy tickets for all the activities..buy the tickets for the ones which you like

You never realize how enormous it is unless you go see it for real !

Best way to get close to Niagra Falls. Prepared to get wet.

Came here 2-3 times. A good experience and the best attraction of Niagara Falls, NY.

A must visit as you can experience the power of nature. It is extreamly safe. We went with our 1year child. When you reach the Niagara falls you will definitely be amazed to see the massive flow of water creating a mist all around. You will feel very much connected with nature. It is a great experience and you should definitely take the maid of the mist tour.

An absolutely unforgettable experience. Everyone should do it at least once. Was even better than the helicopter ride!

A true honor. Being part of this historical boat tour, and being allowed passage right into the gorge... it was utterly breathtaking. To experience that much turmoil on that roiling water - to be surrounded on 3 sides by that inescapable force of nature - it was so moving. I may or may not have cried

Beautiful and fun. Runs like a well oiled machine. It was, extremely, crowded but we got right on the boat, with little waiting. Everyone was all smiles and laughter.

My entire family enjoyed ourselves and will definitely go back.

Not crowded, only issue was walking the ramps for my wife with came, and these dog gone mask..

The Maid of the Mist is an amazing experience everyone should do while they are at Niagra Falls. You'll be taken down near the American Falls and directly into the mist cloud from the Horseshoe Falls

Best experience you could have of the falls, old or young, especially for the money (pennies on the dollar for the exp!).

Expensive, but a part of Niagara Falls experience. Ideally should have seats and more small child friendly ability.

Love Niagara Falls and maid of the mist never fails to be a highlight

First 3 experience brought me here for the 4 th time now with parents. But unfortunately the captain was in a hurry and dint even stop for 2 seconds at tha falls unlike the previous times. I had my parents anticipated for the breathtaking views when the ship stops for few seconds and turns in all directions for all the ppl inside to get god views. But this captain decided to ruin it for all. I watched other ship tours after getting out from goat island every other ships stopped atleast for a good 2 minutes expect the one I stepped in to . My tour was over in less than 10 mins while Bec ship did not stop at all for taking in the views. Dissatisfied disappointed!! Pls understand it might be a daily thing for the captains and ships but the ppl who step in it might just be ONE time in their entire lives so pls try to make it memorable.. thanks

The best way to experience the majesty of the falls...though wish we could go closer. Awesome fun though fully recommend this

One of the exiting place alng with made of mist tour

Ever since I watched Jim and Pam get married here on The Office, I've wanted to go. For the price, the ride was well worth it. We stood on the lowest level at the very front of the boat and experienced the falls quite closely (thank goodness for the complementary poncho!). I had no idea the boats got as close to the falls as they do, but there was never a moment where I felt unsafe or uncomfortable in any way. After getting off of the boat (the wait between each boat is approximately 15 minutes and the ride lasts about as long), you have the opportunity to climb some stairs that are placed almost directly beside the falls to get an even closer look if you want to. The elevator to get to the dock is located within the observation tower, so before or after the boat ride you definitely have to check out the view! And yes, if you really want to keep your poncho, you can.

Waiting time in line was 1.5 hour in, and another hour out. The ride was just 15 minutes. Just 4 elevators to carry thousands of people.Totally spoils the wonderful natural beauty!! They should limit the number of people admitted.

Definitely worth every penny! Hope to do it again someday!

I just loved it. The view ,the mist omg its an awesome experience.

USA side maid of the myst was nice but since I had already been to cave of winds, didn't find it amazing, cave of winds is better an attraction

Good expirience overall. However, I bought the tickets online and I had to make the entire line. I suggest they have a line for online tickets.

Very hard to find the actual location, but the views are so breathtaking that it s worth it.

Once in a lifetime true enjoyment. You gotta go. Enjoyed laughing with all the folks on the boat from so many nations. We may not have understood each other but we did :)

Awesome view everyone should experience, it s totally worth $19 for the boat ride.

The boat ride itself was amazing. Had a great time. But then, you get off the boat and are forced to wait in line for an elevator back up to the top. We waited 3 hours in the heat. The elevators broke down and everyone was stranded in the heat with no relief. The worse part was that they knew the elevators were broke down and they continued to run the boats so people just kept coming off the boats and adding to the problem of hundreds of people being trapped in the heat with no relief. People were passing out and we couldn t get a hold of anyone for help. A woman finally decided to call 911. That was the only way we had to let people know we had emergencies happening and we needed help. The whole experience made me want to never do the maid of the mist again. The company only seemed to be worried about making money and didn t care about the well being of their customers.

This was a great little tour to do with your family. A bit expensive but fun none the less

They line is always long to get down to the dock but when you get to the lower level there are bathrooms food and drinks, both alcoholic and non, there usually is so.e type of entertainment where you can hangout before or after your boat ride. When you take the ride go to the far side of the boat as you enter and go upstairs. Expect to get wet despite the 2 cent poncho they supply. A very different way to see the falls and you won't be disappointed.

Was an amazing experience to go on the boat. We were completely drench and stunned at the beauty of niagara falls. Wow!!

A must do on your Niagara vacation! This was included in our discovery pass and offered amazing views! We did our boat tour after our Cave of the Winds attraction so we could keep our free tour sandals on. Anytime of the day is great for the tour.

If debating between Maid of the Mist or Hornblower.....I would go Maid of the Mist. She gets closer to both falls and is a smaller boat so more intimate.

So worth it! Our boat was not too packed and the falls and tour was amazing. I would do it a couple more times.

The boat takes you right up to the falls, you do get wet! It's a fantastic experience! We loved it! Highly recommended!

Great tour, an absolute recommendation!
It s not before seeing the falls from down there that you will grasp their whole dimension.
Friendly staff, length is not too long but totally fine, view is amazing.
Watch out, I underestimated how wet you get. Even with the rain cap I was wet to my socks. Keep that in mind when planning to stay afterwards.

Corona: They have a good concept dealing with the situation and the ships are really not that crowded anymore. They said they only let 1/4 of normal capacity on the ships. Only when boarding end especially leaving it gets pretty tight.

If you go to the falls u really should go on the tour

This quick ride under the falls is exhilarating! Definitely recommend! We stayed on the lower deck under the upper deck and stayed fairly dry. The boat will turn so everyone eventually has the same view, so no need to run from one end to the other.

Our family went here on vacation about 10 years ago. Was absolutely amazing. We stayed at a hotel on the Canadian side. Things are a little more expensive but well worth it. The maid of the most tour was excelent, it was during the 4th of july, so the falls were lit up in red,white and blue. Also the movies about the people who went over the falls was interesting.

Went on a Monday around 11 am. There was no line and although there were a lot of people it was not crowded and we did not wait anywhere except when boarding the boat. And even then we waited about 3-4 mins for the previous group to disembark before we could go on. Great price for a beautiful tour. So much better than I remember when I last visited when I was 14.

Excellent boat tour right upto the niagra falls. Can see both the american and canadian side. Plastic gowns given to protect us from the mist. Adults for $19.75 and children 6-12 for $11.25. Children 5 and under are free.
