Wow!! What a fun boat ride!! Long line, but worth it. The veiw and to experience the falls from the bottom instead of the top was great. Spend the $$ and take a ride you will not soon forget.

Today is November 9th 2020. Maid of the mist boat tour was over for the season 2020. We fortunately the last person took the tour yesterday. Look into my photos/videos. Enjoy and stay safe.

What a great experience. Family of five and everyone loved it. Went on a Wednesday afternoon and got right on the boat, no wait. Must do.

You have to go absolutely

You travel in a boat and you get to see all 3 falls almost very close to you. You need to wear blue jacket which is included in ticket and even then you will get wet. The boat is usually very crowded and you cannot ignore that.

It s one of the best experience in life. A must go for anyone.

So much fun!! The only problem is it takes forever to get back on land. They do a good job packing people in though!!

The absolute best way to experience Niagara Falls is to take a boat ride to the bottom! Expect to get soaked by the mist.

This tour was simply breath taking and very romantic. I would recommend to anyone coming to the area and it isn't expensive.

What a powerful experience, the falls is best seen while on the Maid of the Mist! The falls just surrounds you and is so massive! You'll feel so tiny.

Drove all the way to Niagara from Manhattan, website said the boats were running and they weren't. Not cool, MotM.

Absolutely amazing!! You have to do this if you are at the falls. They give you plastic rain ponchos because you will get wet! You are as close to the falls asleep you will ever get.

My family had a great experience. Very reasonably priced, great staff. We did not have to wait long either. I highly recommend if you will be visiting the falls.

Best view of fall and wait time is also less except on long weekends.

Wow.. This is spectacular and must visit. The tour is closed during winter months probably from October until spring. Best viewing spot would be on second floor of the boat. Move to the front for maximum view angle during entire trip of the boat. Be sure to get drenched, the cover they provide you as a shield from water will only help little bit that too if you secure it tight.

A great tour and must do in Niagara Falls.
By the ticket and get on the boat to experience the Maid of the Mist.
The tour includes going near the water fall and under the fall at certain parts.
It's highly recommended, as you'll enjoy it. Take lots of pictures and keep cleaning your lenses to get nice pictures.

Simply amazing and it is a must to do when visiting Niagara Falls.

It was magical! It takes you literally under the falls. A view that can not be explained with words.

It was a fun experience to ride the Maid of the Mist. We feel so blessed to get to ride the boat since it was their last schedule for the year. We did not know until we got there that it was their last day.
It was a fast boat ride passing by the falls of and side. I would want to ride one more time if it was not that cold.
We got wet even when we were wearing the ponchos.
It was truly worth the ride!

The actual ride was nice but the line made it not worth the wait. The line was very unorganized people would just push through you. It took over 4 hours to get to the boat. Once we did ride the boat we waited for another 1 1/2 to get up the elevator.

Amazing experience! Family friendly! Cost is reasonable. This boat takes you right up to the falls so you can gage the power of the water coming down and also enjoy the beauty of natures creation. Highly recommend! Plan to be wet when your finished.

Great experience, being down there is incredible. My only critique is that they should get up close to the falls on the way back as well. People on the right side of the boat miss out because the left is so mobbed. So, stand on the left side.

Everyone has to experience this at least once in a lifetime. Get at the front or back of the boat for the best views. So fun & great for families!

Beautiful views! But get to the boat early, otherwise you won t get a good spot for pictures

Having enjoyed two Maid of Mist boat tours, I found they are consistent with their delivery of a body soaking, awe inspiring, history telling experience. FYI- it's fun to try without the Poncho...

Obviously this is virtually the first thing that one does when visiting here. It is very well organised
( they have been doing it for a very long time)
and there are several boats so sailings are frequent. Great views and prepare to get wet if you would like!

Super cool and great experience to visit the falls that close. There are some information kiosks around the area that wanna sell their own tour tickets and may say that the lines are too long and does not worth it, but they are lying. I was there the weekend right after 4th of July (July 7th) and it wasn't crowded at all. Just after 15 minutes waiting time, we get to the boat and enjoyed the view :)

One of the best experiences in life.You should try it, you will love it

Amazing view, powerful mist, crazy wind. The ride was only 15 minutes, on the 16th minute the boat is docked. You'll be provided with a pink poncho. You'll not end up wet, except maybe around your wrists, ankles and head. For up close experience with the falls, Cave of the Winds is much more intense, as you can feel being directly showered by the American falls.

Marvellous experience while exploring the mighty Niagra. It was one of the best decision to take boat ride. You can go as close as possible to the falls.

It was about half an hour tour with full of adventures.

Incredible boat ride. Too wet and windy to really see anything but you experience it through all other senses. Best thing to do at the falls

Amazing fun. Unmissable. Do not miss it. Got soaked, even with the ponchos, but it was worth it. Shrieks and screams of sheer delight from both adults and kids alike. Not expensive either

If you go to Niagara Falls you have to do this it was an awesome experience

The line looked like it would be long, but with tour boats departing every 15 minutes, it didn't feel long. If you want to get a good soaking, stand at the front! The ponchos we're pretty hard core, for disposable, and they have a little tie at the neck to keep the hood secure. The ride is pretty smooth, with a little bumping when you come back to the dock. Everyone is super friendly and helpful.

Excellent and only option to see the falls closer by from US side.

It went very slow so we could stand without feeling like we we're going to fall over! The falls were BEAUTIFUL!!

Should have done once. The boats are quite full and you don't necessarily get a seat at the front, but it's still worth it.
Tip: do the Cave of the Winds beforehand - there are flip-flops there that help keep your shoes dry on the boat.

This is the BEST part of Niagara. If you only have time for one thing, this needs to be it. The boat is accessible to all, wheelchairs included.

This is like a dream. The great falls from so close. A wonderful experience made so effortless with the maid of the mist tour. This tour alone is enough to have the Niagara experience. If you can't park your car in the state park lots, municipal parking lot is very close. Don't have to buy tickets outside, just buy there. If you have a backpack with camera,etc, it doesn't get wet with the overcoat they provide. We didn't have to wait a minute in the peak season!

If you go to Niagara Falls you HAVE TO GO on this ride!!!

We really enjoyed the boat ride. The people that worked there seemed unhappy but the overall experience was pretty good.
