The truth was the atmosphere was clouds and we went up to the waterfall to make the horse an unforgettable experience

Must see part of going to the Falls! So worth it! No other view of the Falls can compare to being that close.

There's a theory floating around that you might get wet in this boat trip. I can confirm that it is true.

We went on a Monday, so it wasn't crazy at the park. The ticket line seemed long when we queued up, but they got us through pretty quick. We were able to catch an elevator down to the dock almost immediately and hopped right on a boat. They do give you a disposable rain poncho to wear. Although we were too late to make it to the upper deck of the Maid of the Mist, we still had a good view from the lower deck. They take you into the horseshoe falls. Took lots of pictures and got completely soaked. It was a 15 to 20 minute ride (?).

We then walked up the stairs which take you up close to the falls (Bridal Veil Falls). Guess what? Got even more wet.

They include access to the falls overlook where you can take even more pictures of the falls.

You're never been really clean until you're Niagra Falls clean.

Great time, a great thing to do for the whole family. (If you don't mind getting a little wet.)

We just rode the MM yesterday. The boat was not overly crowded, but the elevators were. Half the people were not wearing their mask correctly. Boat fine, elevator bad. Real bad.

What a great way to spend some time. This experience was amazing. Both my children (2,5) enjoyed doing the boat ride. I am disappointed that it didn't last as long as I was told, but they still had a great time. We came prepared with rain gear so we didn't get wet. Iran we did but our clothes underneath stayed dry. 6 and under were free which was nice, parking cost (it costs everywhere sadly), and wasn't busy in the morning which made for a perfect experience. The staff on the boat were very friendly but the staff outside of the boat were rude. They must not like their jobs as much. They should be happy they aren't getting wet, but to each I own. I definetly recommend this experience.

Very neat and iconic experience. The observation deck is an impressive view as well.

A must to do if you visit niagara falls. As the boat passes so close to the falls, there is a sheer grand experience that hits you immediately. Its so pristine ! Definitely recommend the boat tour. If possible avoid long weekends, weekends etc.. Queues can be humungous !

A fun ride right up to the base of the falls. They have rescued people who swam off the falls with these boats. No one came over the falls when I was onboard.

Took forever to get on the boat, but well worth the wait!

What a great place and view is just amazing from the boat tour. If you are planning to go for 2 days make sure you go very early in morning for two reason. Line to entry point was so huge that we waited 1.5 hours to just get to the boat. Online ticket and onsite does not make any difference.they will close entry to upper deck of boat after limit to certain people is reached. It worth the ticket.

Fun. Takes about 30 minutes. Google maps had a hard time finding it. Look for 1 Prospect St. and park there then walk.

Worst experience of my life. Got in line at 515. Never in my life have I been in a more unorganized line. Everyone is ignorant and pushes there way through instead of waiting their turn. My kidneys hurt from being elbowed and pushed so much and I'm a big dude. Didn't get on the boat until 630. After a 10 minute boat ride packed beyond your imagination with people, we waited in line again. This time it was worse. Absolutely no staff keeping order and a free for all of ignorant d bags pushing there way to the elevators. Waited in that line for a hour and a half just to get out. Nothing like being packed in a line shoulder to shoulder with unspeakable aromas of b.o. The views from the boat are amazing but not even close to being worth the 3 hours of my life wasted to see it.

Its out of the world, but in the world- Beautiful! Mystic ! Worth visiting and remembering all your life. The maid of the mist is the best and takes us really close. Stand behind while everyone rushes to the front if you don t wanna get wet. Nice park outside.

Be prepared to stand in line for a long time if you want to ride the Maid of the Mist. That being said, the experience is totally worth the wait.

Out of the World experience!! The exciting boat ride, albeit crowded, with mist being sprayed around and to behold one of the most magnificent sight in the world was mind boggling. A true wonder of the world!!

The boat took us to the heart of the falls. It was breathtaking and magnificent.

A must do thing at Niagara falls. The mist is so amazing at these falls that it totally enchants you. The whole boat ride experience is phenomenal indeed. Being inside the mist and watching rainbows while the water gushes around the boats is just too good a thing a miss. Once the boat approaches the falls it becomes quite thrilling. The mist is all around u and you can see the water falling to form the endless cloud of mist. Quite a nice experience. Totally recommend

First time visiting today and it was breathtaking. We were fortunate enough to be on the first departing boat of the 2018 season. We made our way right to the top front of the boat to get the best view. If you are planning a trip to niagra you must do this. Kids, and adults young and old will be blown away. You will get wet!!!!

Half-hour boat ride to the base of the waterfall on the American side. Very exciting to get under the giant of water and spray, despite the poncho supplied.
Bring protection for phones and cameras.
The ticket also includes a walk to the side of the waterfall and a panoramic terrace from which to take some suggestive photos.

Awesome ride, enjoyed it very much, though we got soaked.

Must visit place , you will have lot of fun in summer

If you're going to go to the falls then you better do this tour as well. This a up, close, and personal view of the falls. The view and experience is amazing.

Here are a few suggestions if you take the tour:

BE PREPARED TO GET WET They provide a poncho so that you are mostly covered, but any uncovered section will get wet. Wear shorts and sandals if possible (if you do the Cave tour first they provide temporary sandals). If you're wearing long pants then roll them above the poncho if possible. Also make sure that your phone is to get wet if you're planning to take photos with it. If you don't want to get drenched go to the bottom of the ship.
GET HERE EARLY The line can sometimes be long so get here before the crowd.
ENJOY THE VIEW You might be so focused on the perfect photo that you might forget about the experience. Plan to take a moment while in the falls to just put down your phone and enjoy the experience.

It was great and well worth it. should have listen to our guide when he sd beat place is down stairs. We did run down stairs.

A must do......being at the bottom of falls is unbelievable

The best place in Niagara Falls. The boat ride is amazing. You feel the breeze from the falls and you can see them up close. They give you a plastic so you don't get wet and you can take the best photos on the Canadian or American side. The journey takes 15-20 min but I understand that it is because of the amount of people that exist. And it doesn't deserve more either.

This was so fun! We didn t wait more than 10 minutes once we got down to the dock. The longest wait was about 15 minutes and that was to get our tickets. It was a short wait (less than a minute or two) to get into and down the elevator. 20 per person for roughly a 20 minute boat ride! We were one of the first ones on the boat but you there isn t a bad seat. We had a great time!

Tenth time riding the Maid of the Mist and counting. I truly enjoy this experience and will go back many more times. Fun memories!

What an awesome experience! If you are in Niagara Falls this is a must. My kids (7&5) also enjoyed it very much. The boat takes you close enough to where you get soaked! Was very refreshing considering it was hot that day! Great experience for such a small price.

With the safe covers all over enjoyed the drizzles of Niagara Water fall... the top section of the boating is highly recommended

It was my first time at the Niagara falls and Maid of the mist made is more fun . Went very close to the fall and the boat ride was great .

I went in mid May, mid week, and was able to buy a ticket and get on the boat within 15 minutes of arriving. Summer months are worst, I assume. Prepare to get wet! Very fun!

This is an absolute must when visiting Niagara Falls in the spring and summer! The boat ride is so cool. Its easily located and a great time with friends and family! They provide ponchos so you know you will get wet. I suggest sneakers or non flip flop sandals for the ride since the decks get soaked!

We had a wonderful ride on maid of the mist the staff was helpful the river was as expected beautiful and exciting., We enjoyed going to the Front section of the boat and getting the full waterfall spray on top of us. And the complementary weather jacket we kept as a souvenir. A wonderful experience. Well worth it.
The organization and the staff are wonderful. And the pick up in commute bus ride was also well organized. The tour driver had a great sense of humor. And had a great knowledge of the area and history.

Must have to do while visiting. One of a kind experience, like no other.

What a blast! This is an absolute must do if you re at the falls. You will absolutely shortchange yourself if you leave without experiencing the falls from underneath The tour is run safely and efficiently. Wait times vary but this trip is well worth it!

The falls are amazing but you don't realize how amazing until you go up close to them and get soaked! The sound is amazing too.

Incredible fun. Boat was easy to get onto and off of (People with disabilities or mobility issues - they have an elevator and a smooth walkway) Well worth what we paid and the time spent. Wear the poncho because you will get drenched.
