Maid of the mist boat tour gives opportunity to experience Niagara Falls closely. I would definitely recommend Maid of the mist boat if you are planning to visit Niagara falls, tickets prices are reasonable. Walking towards the fall was a great experience, luckily we witnessed rainbow which made our day very special.

A lovely tour of the bot $ 19.25 and for $ 11 children take you to the waterfall near a very nice experience.

Well organized short tour.... And there is no best way to see the amazing falls from the nearest point possible.
Distinguishable poncho from USA side visitors, to protect them from drenching wild splashes.... Safe boarding into ship.... Well manoeuvre in to deep fall basin.... All are unforgettable experiences.

Intriguing boat ride into Niagara falls will expensive I thought but experience I wouldn't change

Went today, September 14th, 2018 and had an amazing experience. This is a 10/10 would recommend and something I d definitely do again in the future. The views of the falls were absolutely breathtaking, truly a once in a lifetime experience. Lines were fast, admission was reasonable, and the staff was great. Put this on your bucket list.

There's a pretty long line, but it's worth it. The view you get from below is far superior than that from the observation decks.

What a fun experience! Too bad I can t upload the video of all the screams from stormy mist when we got close to the falls. It was a blast. Highly recommend. Just do not go on the opening weekend. The line on the Memorial Day Sunday, the first day it opened was 2 hours long. Monday Memorial Day there was no line. We also did Cave of the Winds and kids loved Cave of the Winds just a tiny bit better. I loved them both equally.

You have to do the boat tour or you haven't experienced Niagra Falls.

Highly recommended. Maybe avoid holidays as it easily takes 1+ hr to get to the elevator in both ways!

A must if you are visiting Niagara Falls. This boat tour really takes you to the heart of the falls.

I wish it was longer than 10-15 min. They let us stay on the boat for another trip. Try that, they may let you stay too.

This was a lot of fun for my husband and two teens! We went when it was raining a little during the week, so we didn t have many people on our boat. We had great views, pictures and got soaked in the hurricane of the falls when you get right in front of them! Very cool experience but would suggest making it your last event of the day!

Fantastic experience. You will get wet!!!! Would definitely do this again if I returned to Niagara Falls. Gives you a great view of the falls and also an experience of the power of the falls and a sense of awe. I would consider this a top 3 of things to do while you are visiting Niagara falls (even more so if you visit from the american side and do not cross into canada).

A boat ride is worth it in order to feel the full power of the waterfall. The ship floats right under the waterfall itself and it is simply incredible. A mixture of water and wind, two elements. You get out really wet, but it's worth it!

Maid of the mist is amazing. We also rode the Hornblower on the Canadian side. Like Maid of the Mist better.

Totally excellent. The weather could have been better. R3commend this in June or july

Skip this during Covid unless you have the patience of a saint. First, we had to register to get in line. After an hour we received a text to head back and line up. We waited over two hours outside in the line. There was another line for the elevator. Once downstairs we had to wait another half hour (the boat left and we had to wait for it return). Total time actively waiting in line totaled just under 3 hours for about 17 minutes on the Maid of the Mist. They're currently only running one boat at reduced capacity!

I liked this place but if you have to choose between cave of the winds and this. I prefer Cave of the Winds.

Amazing scenery, breath taking experience, literally. The mist you get coated with smells like dead sea-lions floating in sewer water, but if you don't mind, it is an absolutely spectacular view.

No better way to see the falls. The captain was exceptionally nice. My wife has stage 2 Renal failure and the day I married her I told her I would marry her everywhere, the state of New York denied my application for a marriage license, yet the captain after hearing the circumstances performed a ceremony for my wife and I making our dreams come true and making this day our 11th state wedding. 39 to go but the Maid of the Mist is the only way to see the falls.

Either go very early in the morning and after 7.30. You will beat the crowd and you will have more space on boat to freely click pictures.

Awesome boat tour. Does what it does, however the tickets are a tiny bit pricey.

Ohhh this was painful. I mean don t get me wrong the falls are so cool to see at the bottom but the boat and wait was soooo long. Now if I didn t have young children maybe it would not have been so bad and in the middle of the summer. The one saving grace is how close and how wet you get by the falls.

the tour is very nice, but the workers are very impatient and they make all the people run to board, regardless of whether they are families with children

Perfect day for a shower in public. Wow, super soaker has nothing on this ride.
Line was quick. View was great. Ride was smooth and felt very safe. Literally got soaked and it was awesome. Can't imagine going here and not taking the MOTM excursion.
Worth every cent.

The tour is well organized, they give you a blue rain cover for free and bring you to visit the two falls.

I only wished the car parking was included in the ticket. Instead you have to spend additional $10 to park the car.
