Phat took care of me when I took my ES 300H in for service. He's easy to talk to and this Lexus dealership is by far the best I've visited in terms of service, cleanness, and amenity. I had my other cars serviced by BMW and Mercedez next door and they night and day.
This was hands down the best car shopping experience I've had. Recently I was in the market for a Lexus and after researching and shopping around I ended up at Magnussen Lexus of Fremont because they were a cut above the rest. They were respectful, straightforward and honest.

They collaborated to ensure that my experience at the dealership went as smoothly as possible.
Bret C. finalized the paper work and when things didn't make sense he took the time to break it down so that I understood. He was very knowledgeable and to quote him "I rather you understand the numbers now so you don't go home and wonder what happened". I've had this happen to me before and it was not a good feeling.

Do I recommend this dealership? Without a doubt. There is a synergy among the folks at Magnussen Lexus of Fremont that makes them great. Everyone I interacted with showed thoughtfulness on their part and it's as if they put themselves in the customer's shoes to ensure you get the best experience possible. Don't take my word for it. I just purchased a GS430 from Neil Chandra at Magnussen Lexus. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from him during his tenure at Magnussen and I can honestly admit that I totally trust the process and the service provided by Neil at Lexus. He is an awesome sales person.....not overly aggressive, very informative and very patient throughout the entire deal. I was very impressed not only with the negotiation process, but also the delivery and the follow up. Because of Neil, I am a huge Lexus advocate....keep up the great work and thank you for putting up with a "tough customer"..!!
Our sale agent, Steven, is not very responsive to email or phone call. He is also not very good in term of technical skill regarding Lexus.

UPDATE: I have finally received a phone from the their General Manager.
No names here. He had thoroughly explained the situation. Apparently, they are going through a transition at the moment, since the dealership was sold. It's not longer Magnussen, but it is now Lexus of Fremont.
The General Manager was a very nice, considerate and a great listener.
He and I came to an agreement and this is why I am rewriting this review. I am not going to list what was agreed, but it was a very mutual agreement. I have changed my mind about the dealership and I think the new owner is a good one. Although the terms of the loan cannot be changed or modified, I am still satisfied with the product that I have. Lexus is a great brand and the car that I have is a great and wonderful car. Love driving it and same goes for my wife!!! I have edited this review a second time. Thanks everyone at Lexus of Fremont!
I've been a Magnussen s customer for almost 8 years. I have been interacting with many service advisors at this dealership. However, Vener Padilla really stands out from this crowd. We were not expected to buy a car, but Fred worked with us and came back with a reasonable deal. He showed as the comparison with MSRP and Costco member prices. Then he show us his best price. Magnussen of Lexus was great as I purchased my first new car in 17 years. My last car was a 2000 Forerunner which has served me well. Staff was not pushy, patient, answered all my questions and continue to be available as questions arise. I was reminded why I went to Magnussen in Palo Alto 17 years ago. I tried other Toyota/Lexus dealers, but I did not like the vibe. When I went to Magnussen of Fremont, I literally had to walk in to find a salesperson after 20 minutes because I was on a phone call discussing the car with my son. I was told they saw me when I arrived, but saw I was on the phone and was waiting until I was free to speak with them. Great staff. I love the approach of Anthony Huynh! Javier, his assistant, patient and available. Even more impressive is I sent Anthony an email on his day off and Arnel Gonzales responded. I went in today to have something added to my car, nice staff. I am totally sold on these guys. Check them out!

Doan was very accomodating and knowledgeable about the RX 350 that we wanted to purchase. He didn't treat us as if we were purchasing a used vehicle. Although the rear seats were missing headrests, he went the extra mile and located them before we finished signing the paperwork. Lexus' service has always been bar none, THEE best, but this dealership is AAA++++ in our book.
Went for seat belt change. They treated me well and they told it takes more than a day to fix. The service person offered me an alternate car for free of charge.

We leased out the latest NX300 Hybrid, after returning our CT200h : during this lease and the previous one, we had an amazing costumer experience. In both cases, we were helped by Jim M. during the whole process. Jim showed us the various options, both in terms of the inventory and also financing, and together we worked out a deal that was comfortable to us. No pushy sales tactics, and no hidden deals and clauses, which goes a long way in making car leasing / purchasing hassle free.
The dealership itself has a look and feel of a professional unit, and generally is very responsive to visitors and guests. Servicing is prompt and efficient. Clean and airy.
Overall, we are very satisfied customers, and will definitely come again to see what new products Lexus in 3 years.
The service advisors are great, they keep appointments on time, too! I had a nice loaner car for my full-day service and my car was super clean when I picked it up. If you have to wait, they have snacks, water, and free WiFi, plus an adults-only room with massage chairs for relaxing!

Excellent service, got there 30 minutes before my appointment, a service Person came to me right away, a few minutes later was in sam s office to write up my work order. A few hours later they called me it was ready , my car was worked on, cleaned and had full tank off gas It was a very pleasant Experience.
this is a basic routine maintenance which was carried out by ML smoothly from making service appt to getting the service done. The service advisor is very friendly and helpful. No sales pressure.

I was able to trade in my car for a brand new car that has more technology than anyone could ever hope for. The price is manageable for the technology that you receive but he even more so the customer service is far beyond any customer service have received anywhere else. Despite my dropping into the service department on a very busy Friday afternoon Service Consultant Michael Start was super attentive in addressing a failing battery in a 2002 Lexus 430 Sports Coupe (The Bomb!!!). I agreed to leaving The Bomb in the capable hands of Magnussen Lexus of Fremont overnight for the testing of the cell, a minor service and a tire rotation. A Lexus-paid Lyft driver picked me up promptly and took me across town to my truck. Another piked me up promptly come Saturday to return me to Magnussen's after all work was completed in a professional manner. Start telephoned me to advise me of the progress of the work, and again fairly early on Saturday to inform me of the completion of the job. Sarah Gallart kept me posted via many messages, and Jim Maroudas was totally prepared to help my family to choose the right SUV! Jim presented all relevant data which made our whole process very efficient! The post-sale orientation was very useful: we are all excited about all the features of the NX 200t! This post-sale orientation is the fifth star here - many other brands and dealership do not care this much for customers.
My family recently purchased a RX 350 and IS 250 from Chris Lin at Magnuseen Lexus, and I highly recommend buying a car there. Chris is by far the most honest, helpful, and reliable car salesman I have encountered during my car search around the Bay Area. The auto service there is also great. The prices have increased from the last time that I ve been to the dealership a few months ago. Will most likely be my last time at Magnussen Lexus. The family feel that they used to have is no longer there.
I worked with Shane to find my Lexus IS 200t. We called a few minutes before we arrived at the dealership to check inventory and Shane was quick to let us know what they had in stock and got everything ready for us to go for a test drive, which was refreshing after coming directly from another dealership where we were unable to test drive a car that we were literally just looking at because the salesman wasn t quick enough to grab the keys when we expressed interest. Shane was very knowledgeable and helpful, and even looked up other Lexus that I was interested in from other dealers and explained pros/cons. It was a pleasure working with him!

I'm quite surprised to see fremont Lexus dealer has such a high review score on Google, as what I experienced is definitely not worth 4.7/5. We were looking for a Rx350 SUV and wanted to buy one within 2 weeks, the sooner the better. When I asked for a quote and the man went like, why do you need a sale price if your deadline is in next 2 weeks. Well I've already had some number in my mind and if they can offer me that price, I would buy the car right away! Then the man gave me the msrp and said "this is what you can have for now". Really?? Then what's the meaning for quote? After we showed him some quote from other dealer, the man gave us a non-competitive price and acted impatiently. All that I felt is Fremont Lexus dealer did not want to have business with us.
I bought my new rx350 on the following day from Oakland Lexus. The price is quite competitive and staff are really nice there.
2 stars as the man did offer us a quick test drive.

I am really happy with our new car from Lexus. Purchasing process was a nice experience at Magnussen Lexus of Fremont. Mr.Shane Sorge helped us. He is super patient and very informative. Being nice to our kids was a plus. He was communicating with our 2 kids while helping us purchasing so they didn t get bored.
They need to pay for their remodel by gouging the prices. It's a nice facility, but the cars are overpriced. Not negotiable, it's under American, oh yeah!!
