It's their flagship store, so it's huge and a great product range. Restrooms are a little hard to find, but it's a great place for a big shopping trip!

As we were on coach trip around NY, only had 90 mins stop here, so headed straight for the bazaar, great area for gifts

went there to buy a Samsung smartphone and they were all sold out. So I wasted my lunch hour for nothing and the salesman was not helpful at all.

It's the ultimate department store here. I brought my parents there during the holidays. They loved it there. Wear comfy shoes please! And scan as many as you can... widow shopping paired with real shopping!

All I wanted to do was smell two or three fragrances. And I don't know if I have ever been so attacked by a bunch of barracudas in my ENTIRE life. I couldn't get away from those woman trying to spray me all over my entire body.
I will never go here again as long as I live.

This Macy's is growing on me. At first I was intimidated because of the size and the amount of people inside, but it's really fun to shop in and the prices are good. They also have food and coffee shops inside to keep you going through all 7 floors!!

Very poor service as staff could not be bothered and continued to talk to another member of staff while in the process of serving us the customer. Some of the worst service we have ever had and we have travelled around most of the world. Had to give 1star rating as would not let me give zero.

Oh its always about magic and believe at Macy's i love the authenticity of their products and im always coming back .

I went to Macy's to buy a watch and the Christmas decorations were in full effect here. The store was full of shoppers but I had no trouble getting help from the many sales people that were glad to help me. An overall pleasant experience.

Overwhelmed.
This is the largest Macy's in the world and it is impressive.
Original building is from the early 1900s with additional footage added on through the decades. Anything that you are looking for is here. Shopping, dining, nostalgia.

We went here to see Santa. Kids liked it. Lots of people. Lots of fun.

The wooden escalators are kinda cool I guess. Good spot to catch Pokemon.

It's truly a magical & memorable place to shop & visit. I just love those sales!

I went to Macy's to return a Christmas gift, don't have any problem because I had the receipt, the store looked very nice, Macy's it's always on time,the next time I plannings to use my gift return,if doesn't matter if customers don't buy it's fine go to see the beautiful store.

All clothes and shoes are depatmentalized. Designers have their own space. (Not mixed)

One of the best places in Brooklyn to buy clothing and accessories. Stores have all the big brands available and usually have all sizes present. Staff is friendly. The place has great variety of men's accesories from belts and ties to shoes and cuff links. Would recommend to anyone looking to shop for high end products to visit Macy's

Huge as it is the largest Macy's in the world. Always filled with tourists and the first floor is a bit annoying with all the fragrances but after getting through all the scents and sales people looking for commissions, you'll notice it's a huge mega mall

Being a frequent shopper, you get used to it always being crowded by tourists. However, the employees are always really nice and super helpful. Enjoy all the floors the building has to offer from their wide selection of fashion, home decor, and more. If you are ever visiting NYC, be sure to visit Macy's. No other location in the country can say they have the biggest department store!

I mean, it's THE Macy's. It's beautiful. And enormous. But it's so easy to get lost and lose track of what section you're in. Went to buy a winter coat and it is super unclear you have to go through all the bridal, all the kitchenware, and all the sportswear to get there. Staff were helpful, though.

The staff was helpful and the store was all that it should be, just fabulous!

The one time I tried to shop at this store, I called ahead to confirm they had my item.
45 minutes back and forth on the phone without reaching an associate that was able to help me.
I called the Danbury CT store and within 5 minutes had located the item I was looking for.
Very poor service from this store, Would rate it a zero if I could.

Lots of sales today 10/2/19 the higher the floor you go the better the sales.

Sale Sale Sale ... the last chance area... great. Managed to get a lot of clothes and shoes from big brands for just a couple of dollars.

Macy's iconic mega flagshship store is one or the largest department stores in the world and covers a city block at Herald Square in Manhattan.

This Macy's is so big and has so many levels. Can be confusing at times for those who have never been to Macy's. However, there are plenty of good deals here.

Amazing experience. Friendly and courteous staff. I was lucky enough to be in the store during a big 20% sale off all products, so do your homework and you might get a great deal.

Iconic. Love shopping here, great seasonal displays, a few good restaurants, coupons to be had.

A bit of a hubbub, but you can still find pretty much anything you want at a reasonable price. Get there now before it's not there any longer, along with every other brick and mortar store. Good for tourists as well.

Always an experience when you come in here. It is very big and many choices. If you do not like crowds, then avoid. But, there are many sales even if you don't have a credit card.

My Favorite spot to find mostly anything. Carry your patience with you and expect a crowd during Holiday season.

This store is MASSIVE!!!!! So busy at Christmas time but has almost everything you need. It definitely was fun to visit over the Christmas season. With so many shoppers in the store, it is so large it still didn't seem crowded. This place is a shoppers paradise.

I'm from Chicago and have been calling Macy in New York on 34th street for the past two days to place a shoe order and the phone rings for ever before someone picks up,and ghan put on hold without asking what I need keep me on hold for literally 30min. So I hang up and try calling again and same thing is done. The worst customer service I've ever experienced.

Huge store, the night dresses area or the whole dresses flood was so impressive, like anything I ve seen before. I ve found so many cute dresses, I was impressed. I hope to be able to come back soon.

Tenisha in the mens fragrance department was an excellent vendor, very professional! I will definetly return to buy my fragrances from her, she has excellent customer service skills.

Great surroundings but I didn't do much shopping.. Iconic institution that I am familiar with since my first visit to NYC in 1970.

Big place. A TON of tourists. Not a fan of the screen of perfume when you walk into the first floor, but you get used to that dept store smell quickly.

I find this a great spot for all sorts of people watching.

It's a Macy's, so I only buy stuff on sale. I have a hard time locating the "last act" rack for men here, since different floors have different types of men's clothing, unlike the Macy's in Flushing which has a dedicated basement corner for the discount stuff. But still, it's nice to talk a stroll on the different floors and take in what stuff is popular now.

I didn't shop there, because the place is just loud and crowded. However the bathrooms are big and convenient.

Used to love this place. The selection has gone downhill and it s not as nicely organized as before. There is a section dedicated to interesting technology gadgets. Pretty limited but fairly interesting.

Always enjoy shopping at Macy's especially the shoe department, the girls/ guys are always very friendly to help out in any way, always there to serve you to get what your looking for which is a great thing

Well Macy's of Manhattan...a retail phenomenon..the flower ..landscape show is. Pretty

Macy's has got everything you need. It is so big there is a men's and women's store. I don't shop much here but every year they put on a very impressive flower show and a Thanksgiving parade. The flower show used to be in the store but now they set up outside in a portable tent. The parade pretty much shuts down the whole area. You're better off viewing it uptown near Central Park.

Everything I expected Macy's to be, plus more! Took a bit to get my head around some of the half levels but amazing otherwise. Loads on offer and food or drink options on most floors too. Cant wait to go back.

Went to the kids show section and found the staff very rude.
After finding a pair of shoes we wanted they brought back the wedding ones, then brought the right ones but wrong size. When we finally got the right ones the parts to put the wheels in where missing and they wouldn't anything about it.

what can I say about the largest store in the world? it was an experience for sure...all staff were friendly and accommodating, the makeup ladies were very helpful..we enjoyed riding all the escalators, but are simple like that. something to see for sure!! great if you love shopping malls!!

Its a huge mall. You need time to find the right thing you are looking for. Please visit the mall with enough time in hand.

It is one of the most complete centers of department stores. All in one place and not only is clothing also food of all forms and size varieties. There are all the recognized brands and to be recognized in their respective departments, it is not that they are all in conjunction with each other, they are each brand separately even if they are at the same weight. If you need something to buy without going around many times this may be the best place.
