Out of all Macy's stores, I like this place the best as it carried all the styles that I need

Nice selection of clothes. You can always find something in good price

The place is great as usual. This location is a prime location. Macys always surprises you. Never ending variety of clothing and prices are great. With Plenti in place they have more discounts. Good place to spend you time here. the candy shop at the basement floor is pretty good. dont miss it.

Gone are the days of knowledgeable sales clerks and spacious stores.

The salesperson in the show section was honest with his suggestions and also managed to convince me to open a Macy s card lol. I ended up buying a lot of things so definitely worth the extra 20% off.

This is a big store. They have a wide collection. As with every store in the magnificent mile, parking is either difficult to get or very expensive. I usually use a spothero and walk 2 blocks. There is a food court.

Your typical department store, always have sales on (makes you wonder how much margin they re making when is not on sale). I go there to get suits and winter jackets from time to time due to their large collections and discounts. Staff on the floor are generally friendly and helpful. Nothing exciting, but a great place to get your essentials.

It's the weirdest Macy's ever. It has tons of floors, but each floor is kinda small. I believe out of 8 floors, only one is for guys. That's being said I've found a lot of great deals here

I went to Macys, I found lots of baby clothes at super discounted prices. Beautiful, big you can find everything, just turn around. Returning to New York I will go through other purchases.

I found everything I was looking for, but why all the Macy's dont have everything like the one downtown?

Macy's at Water Tower Place is one stop indoor shopping,

There are 7 floors for women. There is 1 floor for men. That's unacceptable.

Long wait in line was a waste of my time and lunch break and didn't get what I wanted because the cashier wouldn't apply the 20% coupon.

This Macy's has a lack of selection, registers and employees. I will not return. Macy's State Street is better

I just want to say that I am glad that this place is closing ... I was ready to buy a 11000 dragon ring and no one was willing to help me ,when finally someone came to "help" I said I would like to look at other choices as well and she straight told me that I should wait because she didn't wanna walk all the way, since someone was there where she was standing ,she prefered helping her..not only did I stand waiting for almost an hour but walked out with nothing ...no wonder why Amazon is taking over SMH

Few prices for "non-rich" people mistreatment by an Afro-descendant who works on the second floor in charge of selling shoes, with contempt he refused to tell me where the women's bathroom was

I needed a mother's day present and no one at the fragrance counter to help me so I helped myself. The Chanel testers are all behind the counter because they are afraid that they may get stolen . Maybe they should hire more help! So I make my selection and ask the LP agent that was starring me down if she could find me some help . A guy comes from mens fragrance and says that he can try and help me I let him know that I need a bottle of fragrance that is in a locked case and I need it gift wrapped. He says sorry but they can't gift wrap because the fragrance girl that works at that counter has left for the evening. I then explain the importance of the mothers day gift yet no . I leave and go to my favorite store Nordstrom and get what I needed for mom and gift wrapped! And with lots of samples even some for me I ended up getting myself a fragrance too lol. Bye Macy's hello Nordies for ever ... well unless Harvey Nichols is nearby. Lol

Great prices and selection. Finished our holiday shopping in a matter of hours than days.

I will forever go to Macy's for their surprisingly enormous luggage section.

Very nice with five floors to visit. Lots to choose from. Customer service it seems to be available everytime you turn around not to mention price didn't change just because it's in Chicago

What I love about this store the most is it reminds so much of the store in New York. The store goes up to about 8 floors & not out. It has literally ever designer you can think of, with a big city feel.

Mariah was awesome and bubbly and friendly this girl needs a raise!! She was the 2nd cashier I had today. They acted like i bothering them when i checked out

I LOVE Macy's... especially The Last Act merchandise throughout. The State Street store is my favorite; but, I do have several criticisms of the location.

Frequent out-of-order escalators and elevator banks that aren't available to customers are frustrating: but, inadequate directional signage is my biggest peeve. There are so many ways in and out of the store, that it's easy to get turned around and confused. I don't know how many times I've asked store employees for directions to specific exits and been told that they weren't sure. Maybe if there were prominent arrows indicating the major streets surrounding the store or North/South/East/West indicators somewhere on the main floor at the very least, tourists and locals alike could get around easier and happier. I know I would.

Macy's is still the quintessential marketer of department store goods. I still think Macy's completely blew it with the Marshall Field's brand. There is no reason to New Yorkize other cities favorites with their product. The Holiday windows, which are a destination for those of that live outside Chicago must tell a story that wraps around the building. Don't cheapen it on the El side because the area needs improvement. Deal with it head on!

The store is huge and laid out in a way that makes finding what you are looking for easy. Great sales, designer brands, shoes, make up, and more. Some of the staff are great but a few were not really wanting to be helpful, maybe I just caught them on an off day. Overall really a great department store.

For those that can t afford Nordstrom s, or just don t want to be as broke (but still a bit broke)

im shopping in this place for many many years, sometimes they have nice sales going on especially in between January first to January 15
the only bad experience i had there is when they refuse to return one of my adidas jacket i bought because i had not receipt but after talking to manager he gave me my money back. good store

I asked where to find a robe dress & i had to ask 5 different maxy workers where to find it before I actually got A helpful answer. They just kept sending me from one floor/person to the next.

Their customer service is poor. They need to be trained more on phones. The etiquette just isn t there.

Great location, super clean and nicer than most Macy locations inside. Great service with an exchange I had online. Price matched the exchange from online as well. I often forget about this location since State Street is so close by. I usually just go there instead, but will come here more often now.

Services could improve. At the men's section we wanted to look at some shoes and the employee said she couldn't hell because she was from another department... ummm but she could have directed us to someone who could help.
