Macy's is still the quintessential marketer of department store goods. I still think Macy's completely blew it with the Marshall Field's brand. There is no reason to New Yorkize other cities favorites with their product. The Holiday windows, which are a destination for those of that live outside Chicago must tell a story that wraps around the building. Don't cheapen it on the El side because the area needs improvement. Deal with it head on!
