They respected the social distancing. We got our floors done in this weird time. We got such a good price! And the installer was amazing. We didn't remove a loot of furniture because of our age. He was so good and respectful plus did an amazing job.

MacDonald knows when it comes to hardwood floors. Steve was great at helping us find the right floor for our mountain home. We went in with one idea and came out with a better idea. Thanks MacDonald!

I LOVE my new floors! I recently moved into a condo that needed lots of TLC. I had no idea that my dark, wide plank Hickory wood floors would make such a difference in my new home, they are beautiful. Bruce and Jeff walked me through every step from my choices of wood, budgeting, installation and maintenance. I was on a tight schedule to move in and they met every one of my needs. Absolutely thrilled with this company and the products we purchased! We have had the run-around on flooring, and never considered MacDonald Hardwood until a friend recommended them. The guys working there were friendly and didn't push any particular product on us, but found out what we wanted and were looking for, and made recommendations based on our needs. They even sell trim, and at a comparable rate to the big box stores. Highly recommend!!

We purchased floor from MacDonald Hardwoods 25 years ago! Yes 25 years, It has held up beautifully. When we decided to replace carpet with more hardwood we went to MH with hope to find something close.. The salesman was awesome and found almost a perfect match! If you need flooring I would highly recommend MacDonald Hardwoods.

I recently purchased and installed nearly 600 square feet of Superior brand maple hardwood flooring from MacDonald Hardwoods. The sales personnel and office staff were extremely helpful in making sure I purchased the correct flooring and they answered all of my questions. I ordered over the phone, received proper order documentation through email and had delivery in just a few weeks. They delivered the product from Denver to Fort Collins at a better price than the local stores offered! The quality of the product was excellent. I had less than a dozen pieces that contained flaws and I ended up using these behind my refrigerator. Compare this to reviews from competitors ... you will see examples of 15-20% waste due to poor quality. I plan to install wood in other rooms in my home in the future and will turn to MacDonald Hardwoods as my supplier.

Recently purchased engineered hardwood flooring from MacDonald's Hardwoods, and couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience. From the knowledgeable, helpful - and patient - salespeople, to the ordering and delivery, and the quality of the product itself, this was a smooth and pleasant experience.

MacDonalds came recommended from a friend who renovated his house. We were "just" doing our main floor hardwoods (no reno for us) and decided to check out the MacDonald showroom. The sales staff were extremely well versed in the options, stains and didn't hide a single issue from us. The showroom gratefully has the woods installed on the floor so you can really see what you're buying and we did bring home some samples, which we returned later that week at no cost.

After we decided on a wood/stain - we set a date and placed our order. Again, they were extremely patient with all my questions on installation, cleaning, delivery, etc.

Delivery was the exact time they said it would be - professional and they took the time to make sure they were stacking the packages across the joists to avoid any extreme weight on the existing floor without being distributed.

Installation was done by me - which was satisfying, but extremely hard labor. We had one box left over, which they were more than happy to buy back from us without any restocking fees. I'd suggest them to anybody without hesitation.

Steve and the rest of the folks down at MacDonalds are a pleasure to work with. We went with a prefinished wirebrushed ash which is gorgeous and already receiving lots of compliments even though the remodel isn't finished. These folks sell quality products and do an excellent job start to finish.

I feel like I got quality flooring and responsive service from MacDonald Hardwoods. Everything was delivered on time and as promised. Their installation prices are high, so I went to a third party for the installation. (I think they assist DIYers, but we had NO interest in that!) I was able to return the underlayment paper and an unopened box of wood for credit, which I appreciated. I ordered a couple extra flush-mount floor vents after the fact, which I received very quickly and without hassle. I would use MacDonald's again. It would be easier for me to shop on my schedule if they had Sunday hours, but I understand employee time-off too!

We recently completed a kitchen renovation and needed flooring throughout the main level. We went to several flooring places throughout the front range before finding MacDonald Hardwoods. As soon as we walked in we spotted the floor we were searching for. We wanted a medium brown, prefinished, real hardwood. I asked our sales representative alot of questions and he thoroughly explained everything.
We purchased just over 1000sqft, had it delivered and installed with our requested time frame. From the sales rep to the deliver guy and installer, the entire process was 5/5 stars.

These guys are amazing!! From the moment I stepped into the show room and spoke with Steve to the last day Ben, our installer was with us, I felt completely taken care of.
We live in a high rise with many HOA regulations around installation of hardwood- it didn't seem to phase Ben. With that said, he also has incredibly high standards for his craft which means we got an incredible result, diagonally laid planks.
I have no hesitation recommending MacDonald - they took great care of us throughout the installation process!!

My entire experience from sales to installation was outstanding. Product was delivered on schedule and installation team was professional and meticulous in attention to detail.

My first encounter with McDonalds Hardwoods was in 1999 when I installed 450 sf of unfinished solid oak in our kitchen, eating nook, family room and hallways. Fast forward to 2017 when we wanted to add wood flooring in our dining and living rooms. We chose pre-finished solid hickory for the 310 sf space. Both experiences were what every "wanna-be-carpenter" would want. McDonalds was friendly and insightful in helping me make technical decisions, just as good the second time as they were the first. If I had more floors to lay wood, I'd chose McDonalds all over again.

We checked out a few options in town and ultimately felt like the product we chose at MacDonald was both high quality and the right aesthetic fit for our home. We also decided to work with an installer through MacDonald. We had about 1700 sq ft installed and the overall process went smoothly. It's always a bit disruptive to be living through a project like this, but the install was as fast as I could have imagined it and well done.

Went in with no expectations looking to replace my kitchen floor - worked with Tim, who was helpful in understanding what we were looking for, and the pros and cons of various options. No hard-sell, and very upfront about whether certain things made sense even if they were the more expensive option. Great local option, will definitely use them again when I get around to the basement.

Damien and Enrique were the most amazing install team! They were professional, extremely nice, punctual, and were great at communicating throughout the entire installation. Excellent product and exceptional service. I highly recommend MacDonald Hardwoods. I purchased 276 square feet of pre-finished red oak for a bedroom and closet. The product, which came from Canada, was excellent -- no defects, and no scrap. Their salesman, Jeff, also offered some excellent advice and tips on how to install flooring. Overall, a great product and a great company. I will buy again from MacDonald when i need additional hardwood.

Highly recommend MacDonald Hardwood. We had a great experience with them on two separate installations. They installed hardwood floors in our office that look excellent. Just recently they installed hardwood floors for entire upstairs and it looks amazing. Appreciate all the help and direct communication from Scott in the office. He kept us up to date throughout the process and was great at providing advice during our selection and measuring process. Our installer Grant did an outstanding job, working around some pretty challenging curves and some built in closets that look incredible.

I took the class on installing hardwood flooring at MacDonald Hardwood years ago (it's now on YouTube). The floor turned out great.

We remodeled our home about 6 years ago and went with MacDonald Hardwoods because they were highly recommended. Our hickory floors today look like they were installed yesterday!! We listened to them on how to care for the floors to keep them looking new. We still are so impressed with the quality, durability, appearance and easy care of our floors that we DO recommend them to everyone!!

Not only were these guys a few thousand dollars less expensive (labor and wood) than their competition, because they sell the wood and do the install themselves they take a lot of pride in what they do. There was never a moment of pressure from anyone, I was kept informed throughout the process and how I could save money. I was allowed to return all of the extra materials that were unopened for a full refund. In addition to this, on a more personal note, the salesmen and the installers were very conscientious toward what I wanted, what needed to be done, and making sure that it was done right for my house. The install was beautiful, done on schedule, and I could not be happier. A wonderful, relaxed experience throughout. Thank you guys!

I had a great experience with MacDonald Hardwoods. I visited their showroom, found a beautiful Hickory floor and scheduled installation all within an hour. The delivery and installation went smoothly. All team members were prompt and professional. I picked MacDonald Hardwood because they have been around forever and they did not disappoint.

I purchased from MacDonalds over 25 years ago... Outstanding product and service during that experience. I installed it myself. We decided to replace some more carpet with hardwood. As such we removed this older flooring (even though it still was decent... We have 4 kids and 19 grandkids) Floor held up wonderfully.
Yes I checked everyone else out before our recent purchase... Compared product quality price etc... After several months of over shopping 9That s just what I do) We came back to a proven provider. We paid a little bit more than the supposed great deals that were offered on TV... But... The quality was head and shoulders over the other choices. The stuff tends to all look alike... However... I was told about all the waste and shorter board lengths that we would have to compensate for when determining the amount I needed to buy... at the other places.... The flooring was of such quality that after installing 800 sq ft... I literally had a five gallon bucket of scraps and end piece. Not one board was not used... Others told us to count on 10% waste... SO...In the long run the total cost of the floors was not more expensive at all... For the second time I had a terrific experience with MacDonalds... No pressure... Everything as promised... I had some left overs and returned them with out a moment of hassle...
I would recommend them to anyone who wants high quality at very competitive prices

These guys are busy and for a good reason. We were trying to get all our ducks in a row well in advance of doing our floors, cabinets, countertops and a couple of appliances. MacDonald accommodated all our needs. They had the most information on their web site and in person. We found exactly what we wanted after being educated by them. The delivery and install went very smoothly. Everyone was a pleasure to deal with.

Fabulous customer service!! Every person we worked with (sales, delivery, installation) was very professional, extremely helpful and so very nice! The selection at the store was amazing and the sales staff was very knowledgeable - we learned a lot during the selection process. Installation was very fast and he did a fantastic job! We could not be happier with our new floors - this is a high quality product from a store with the best customer service! Great value for the money!

MacDonald Hardwoods was recommended to us by a neighbor that is knowledgeable about construction and had a good experience with them. They have a great selection and a staff that knows the product lines. We ordered our flooring and it was shipped to our home. My wife and I are renovating our newly purchased home in Colorado long distance. We live in Florida so you can imagine the logistic issues. We received a call from our contractor that 3 of the boxes were the wrong product. MacDonalds called the the manufacturer and they had the replacement boxes express shipped, at their expense, to our home so it wouldn't upset our timeline. Because of McDonald's great relationship with the manufacturers and great customer service we are back on schedule and our stress level is back down. Thank you Bruce MacDonald! Jeff had great design suggestions for integrating new flooring with older existing hardwood. He took the time to visit the job site numerous times before any decisions were made to make sure we were making the best choice. He carefully explained exactly all the steps involved to create the least disturbance as the entire house needed carpet removed and hardwood installed.

This is a great company; they were there to answer all our questions. We bought Pala Mesa Hickory and it is beautiful. The installer was very respectful of our home and great with our rather large dog. I couldn't be happier.

I recently purchased 860 sqft of 1/2" random-width engineered staple-down flooring from MacDonald Hardwood. Jeff and Steve made the experience very positive. They're not the cheapest in town, but I paid only a little more (~$1/sqft) than I would have paid at Home Depot for inferior product. The MacDonald flooring was of impeccable quality. I couldn't find a single chipped or damaged board out of the 25 cases. The stain coloring was consistent among all the cases as well. I've had friends buy from Home Depot and that definitely wasn't the case. The other really nice thing about MacDonald is that they spent an hour with me (after purchase/delivery) at the store to show me how to plan out my rooms and properly use the equipment. The install took me way longer than I expected (about 3 weekends), but the finished product looks wonderful. I really can't recommend MacDonald Hardwoods enough.

Wonderful! Jeff Luebbert was professional, polite and very knowledgable. I was able to find the floor material I had been looking at a comfortable price. It was promptly delivered by another polite professional!!

Don't just buy any flooring and think it will work in Colorado's dry climate.
We learned that a lot of flooring products need humidity and will shrink and check due to the dry climate. Read the fine print !
The sales people at Mac Donald know the correct products for Colorado.

Everything about my experience at McDonald Hardwoods was great. There was no pressure in the showroom and Jeff took considerable time to explain all of my options and give me a couple of quotes the same day. It took a couple of months to get on the install schedule, but once I moved past that disappointment :-), everything went like clockwork. Jeff came out to do the final measure and install estimate, and it came out slightly below the initial estimate, which was very refreshing. The wood was delivered on time and the final installation was perfect. Josh did an amazing job with the prep, install, and trim finishing. The transitions between the wood and tile/carpeted areas were perfect. He was done in about 3-1/2 days. They are not the cheapest game in town, but you won't be disappointed with the quality. Thanks much for the beautiful new floor!!

I can't rave about this place enough, they carry so many choices. We took out carpet and put in hardwood floors. We chose Hickory and it's beautiful. So much easier to keep clean. The team was extremely helpful. There knowledgeable about all wood products, I wish we had more floors to do.

I have trouble with my wood floor I bought 4 years ago and these guys aren't helpful. It's not a priority to them to support their customers.

We purchased flooring from MacDonald's Hardwoods when we remodeled a new home we purchased. We went with MacDonald's because we thought they would have superior products and service plus we wanted to buy local.

Wow were we wrong. The product that was recommended to us, and we purchased, is of inferior quality. The problem is that the finish is not durable, it scratches very easily. And we are very careful with the floor, we do not allow our dog in the home or where shoes in the home. The floor scratches so easily that we have to tell everyone that enters to be super careful.

And the worse part is their service or lack thereof. When we told them about this...they basically couldn't care less. First they ignored our calls, then they finally came out to take pics but did nothing with them, then we got the BBB involved they took pics again and then lied and said that it was due to our dog. Shame. Beware of this company...poor products and even worse customer support was our experience.

We had hardwood installed down our hallway, master bedroom, and master bathroom - it all looks beautiful! The team is very professional - delivery of flooring arrived as agreed, the installers showed up on time, and the work was completed in less time than originally expected (and they cleaned up after themselves!). As an added bonus, we also received credit for the flooring that the installers did not use (they were so accurate and precise that apparently they did not need any extra pieces) so that was a nice surprise to make the entire process something we would do again. We highly recommend MacDonald Hardwoods!

From the start with Tom in the store to the end of install with Ben; my husband and I were very pleased with it all! Our hardwood floors are beautiful and the compliments we are receiving from friends and family are outstanding. Tom and Ben were very easy to work with, gave us the best advice, and were always easy to get in touch with. My husband and I enjoyed getting to know both Tom and Ben and appreciated their friendly attitudes and through out the whole preocess they never once were sales pushy. Great customer service and great product! We won't go anywhere else in our future. Because they do the best work and have the best product we had to wait for install a bit longer than anticipated but the wait was way worth it!

Previously had bought wood flooring from Austin Hardwoods, however they no longer handle flooring and referred me to MacDonald Hardwoods. Tom at MacDonald hardwoods did a great job in helping us select the wood flooring we wanted. Additionally we had to make changes to our order for the floor vents and they were very helpful in adjusting the order. Highly recommend these guys if you need quality hardwood flooring.

Wonderful to work with. Thorough, timely. Did a beautiful job. One minor issue with a board that had splintered at the edge. They were there within 24 hours and fixed it. We have more flooring jobs to do including stairs and will definitely use them again.

I can't say enough good things about MacDonald Hardwoods. We ran into several challenges with our 1,400 square foot project, and yet installation started on the day we scheduled and was completed ahead of schedule. Wow. Communication from Steve was excellent throughout, and the company was more than fair in sharing the load of some unexpected sub-floor prep expenses. I'm still in shock. We've installed wood floors before in another city, and the experience was unbearably slow and stressful. While we paid more this time around, it was 100% worth it given our time constraints and low stress tolerance during a relocation. I think this is as painless as installing flooring gets. This company really does deliver what they promise! I wish I could give them 10 stars.

Last year, I went into Macdonald hardwood store & submitted an order for flooring. After realizing that the construction work inside my house would not be done to schedule, I went back to the store the next day to cancel the order. They flat out said 'no' when I said I wanted to temporarily cancel the order until I was ready. My husband then went in the next day & he had no trouble cancelling the order. When I eventually ordered my flooring I went elsewhere. I told the salesman my experience. Before I could tell him it was Mcdonald hardwood, he said 'let me guess, Mcdonald hardwood'... wow, Apparently they have a reputation for treating women like this.

We thought we knew what we were looking for but after a few questions from Scott, we ended up with the right high quality flooring that was ideal for our application. We ended up purchasing Superior 3/4 oak and are very satisfied so far!

I had a great experience at MacDonald hardwoods. I came looking for rental equipment, and even though they don't carry any, Jeff was incredibly helpful. He took about 20 minutes to give me a walk through on how to refinish our wood floors even though he knew I wasn't going to be buying anything. I would recommend MacDonald Hardwoods to anyone as I don't think you can find a more helpful company.

We had a great experience with MacDonald Hardwoods. From our initial meeting with Tom Kelley who came out to do our measurements and worked with us in helping us select our new hard wood floors. His communication was excellent and he always responded immediately to any questions we had as we prepped for the install.

All the materials were delivered on the scheduled date and installion was completed in a timely matter. The installation team of Bud and Chad were fantastic. These guys were very experienced and answered all our questions and concerns. They worked very hard and made sure the work area was clean when the left for the day, every day. We had our whole first floor replaced including kitchen, pantry, closet and powder room redone.

In addition, they replaced our old thin base molding with 5 inch base molding both downstairs and upstairs.

Our house looks great and I would highly recommend MacDonalds Hardwoods for your

Been working to install hardwoods in my home and with their help, I am narrowing down my choices. These guys are extremely knowledgable and have helped me learn a great deal about my upcoming investment, especially how to protect floors through proper furniture pads and cleaning. My only concern with hardwoods are that none of the producers can cover for scratches or dents.

The hardwood flooring we purchased from MacDonald is unusual, beautiful and not available from the other showrooms we visited. The installation team did a fantastic job, not just with the quality of their work but also their willingness and ability to coordinate with the contractors who were installing our new kitchen cabinets and appliances.

Update 2020: I got some more flooring through MacDonald to match the floors I put in in 2017. This time I had them do the installation. Again it was a great experience. Steve and Scott in the office were easy to work with and helpful. Josh, who performed the install, did an excellent job. I was particularly impressed with how perfectly he managed to remove and replace the baseboards.

Original 2017: They helped me pick wood flooring and taught me how to install it. Floors look great and the installation went off without a hitch. Friendly place too.

MacDonald Hardwoods is known for their pre-finished flooring. We used them in May to REFINISH our floors. They were very professional - showed up on time and completed the job in less time than they projected. They use equipment to minimize the dust from sanding and did a great job of cleaning up. They color matched an existing room. We are very happy with the work and love our "new" floors! We highly recommend MacDonald Hardwoods!
