MacDonalds came recommended from a friend who renovated his house. We were "just" doing our main floor hardwoods (no reno for us) and decided to check out the MacDonald showroom. The sales staff were extremely well versed in the options, stains and didn't hide a single issue from us. The showroom gratefully has the woods installed on the floor so you can really see what you're buying and we did bring home some samples, which we returned later that week at no cost.

After we decided on a wood/stain - we set a date and placed our order. Again, they were extremely patient with all my questions on installation, cleaning, delivery, etc.

Delivery was the exact time they said it would be - professional and they took the time to make sure they were stacking the packages across the joists to avoid any extreme weight on the existing floor without being distributed.

Installation was done by me - which was satisfying, but extremely hard labor. We had one box left over, which they were more than happy to buy back from us without any restocking fees. I'd suggest them to anybody without hesitation.
