I called trying to place an order and asked if I could do so by phone. The representative stated that the best way to place an order was online because it was more secure. Since it appeared that she didn't want to take the order over the phone, I thanked her and called Midway USA. They were very courteous, took my order, and advised me of an arrival date. No more calls to Lymon Products....Midway USA from now on.

I purchased the Lyman Mini sharps 38-55 rifle manufactured by Cheap Ass, in June. It started out miss firing 1 in 5 and worked up to where it will not fire at all. I have spent hours on hold without ever getting to talk to a live person. I sent a customer service e-mail and finally got a reply after 2 months. Now that I have the required documentation for a return and refund, I seem to be back at the end of the line. Lyman should be ashamed to put their mane on that rifle, and their customer service is a joke

I ordered a part on the 7th hadn't heard a thing b...

I ordered a part on the 7th hadn't heard a thing by the 17th. Filed a complaint on the website and still heard nothing. Filed a second complaint and got no response. The item showed up on the 21st with a shipping date of the 17th, so they didn't ship it until I complained. This is all fine I understand that people make mistakes. My problem is the complete lack of communication. A simple response to my complaint of "sorry we forgot to ship it, it's on its way," is all it would take for me to be a return customer. Since they don't have the common courtesy to reply and don't communicate shipping information at all I will not use them again.

I have purchased many different Lyman products anytime I had any questions they were quick yo respond this time my gen6 electronic powder measure stopped working properly I contacted Lyman we tried to troubleshoot the issue over the phone they determine it need to be sent in I got the gen6 sent out on Saturday that following Saturday fedex dropped off the replacement gen6 great customer support yhank you guys

I have used Lyman products for years without a single problem. I just got into the casting bullet end of the reloading. I bought a Lyman 450 lube and sizer .Being a novice I was looking for top punch and sizing die. I started looking on line and they throw out all theses numbers. So I contacted Lyman Customer service and within a day I got a return email and it had a chart with the information I needed . I think in this day and age that is great service. Lyman will always have my business. Great Job

Two weeks on and my order still had not shipped. It is supposedly "in the mail" now after I requested they cancel the order. If you hadn't gone completely silent on me, I may not have left you a bad review. We'll see if I actually get my order.

Lyman customer service is great! Had a problem when reloading 270. The inside stem with the decapping pin came partially loose unnoticed. When extracting on the upstroke, it stripped off about half of the threads on the rod and the end came off inside the brass. Emailed Lyman and told them this was my fault for not checking to make sure it was tight, and then sent a whole new assembly free of charge! I had offered to pay whatever the cost and they declined. I have used Lyman dies for 50+ years of reloading, and this is the first problem I have had with any of them. Kudos to great customer service.

I reached out to Lynman customer service and within one week they mailed me out a pair of medallions for my springfield 1911. When something like this happens its great to know the manufacturer cares Thanks again for your prompt service.

I recently ordered a TacStar rail mounted brass catcher. When it arrived I was disappointed to learn that it wouldn't fit my military standard rail that comes on all LMT receivers. I called their customer service department with my concern. They were extremely helpful and actually had a custom military standard rail mount fabricated just for my rifle and shipped it to me free of charge. I can happily say that their customer service is the best I've ever experienced. I will never purchase any firearm related product again without checking yheir website 1st. They will always get my business from here on out if at all possible. Thank you for your dedication to your customers.

They were/are outstanding in all areas of customer service. If only all businesses took care of their customers this way.

Wanted to get an offer for replacing our 3 digital...

Wanted to get an offer for replacing our 3 digital scales to new versions.

I tried several times to get an reply via their site form, Fax and email.
They don't bother to reply.

Strange because in 2008 contact was very good, I am a returning customer.

Very frustrating to receiv absolutely no reply.
After 2 weeks now I give up.

So now I bought elsewhere.

I purchased one of Lyman's new universal decapping...

I purchased one of Lyman's new universal decapping dies for use in a Dillon CP 2000 used for 223 brass prep. The spring loaded decapper salved a problem I was having with crimped primers not ejecting from the case. After about a thousand cases, the decapping pin unthreaded and galled out the the cap. I contacted Lyman and sent them pictures of the problem. With in a few weeks they sent me replacement parts. I reassembled with a little lock-tight and no more problems.

My customer service experience was outstanding! I inherited an old press and was having difficulty with it. Mike Lopez worked with me for about a week over multiple emails reviewing pictures and measurements as we troubleshot, even though this press had been discontinued for a very long time. While they don't have parts for it anymore, he still took the time to help resolve my problem. Mike's help made me a fan of Lyman.

I have Lyman case gauge tools and they have worked...

I have Lyman case gauge tools and they have worked great.

I also have their product line "Tacstar" brass catcher which has held up exceptionally well compared to many other products of similar category. It has been mounted to various platforms which has worked the best out of all the ones I have tried.

I had issues with the product which their CS took care of it within several hours of contact. I can truly advocate for this company and it's products!

Update 20191001: John Ciofalo who was the agent assisting me pulled through and helped me all the way without any reminder from my end. Great agent and customer service. Thank you John! And Lyman!

I bought a set of Lyman Roll Pin Punches which I don't often use but when I do I need a specific size and only that size will work. I've had them for sometime and used them several times. The small but essential 1/16th inch punch broke. Although it was well past warranty period, I contacted Lyman and they sent me a new punch free of charge. I appreciate the customer oriented service. They could have blown me off, but chose instead to make me a happy customer. I will remember that the next time I need a tool.

Met with their assistant sales manager (Alex H.) at the 2017 SHOT Show in Vegas. I inquired about directly purchasing 4-6 thousand dollars worth of their products every month to start, and this guy told me that he would only (personally) make a couple hundred dollars off my orders and that it wasn't worth it for him to setup an account for my business. So I completely stopped ordering their products from RSR, GAS and other distributors. Now I'll carry far more Grace USA, and some NISM products instead. Hope they will one day understand that self-centered sales managers are bad for business. Not the type of people I will buy from or support in any way.

I know that they make quality products and I purchased a grip and I could not get it to fit correctly. I contacted them through email and explained that I was having an issue and was contacted back within a day or two and they said they were sorry I was having this problem and that they had a batch of those grips that had issues and they would replace it. So I received my replacement and it worked great. Thanks again for resolving my problem and will continue to buy their products.

I ran across some mil-spec 30-06 with primers that seemed to somehow be welded into the brass. Nothing would get them out. Persistence and a lack of common sense led to my breaking 3 Lyman Universal decapping rods in as many minutes, trying to remove these primers (some people just don t learn). It was no fault of the decapper, I have processed 1,000 s of lake city brass with no issues before. I wrote Lyman Customer Service offering to buy any tool that might do it. They didn t have anything else; however in an example of unparalleled customer service they sent me 3 new decapping rods to replace the ones I broke. Talk about a company that stands behind their product; I m impressed.

The Lyman Customer Service is stellar !! . I had a problem with a rear sight I recently purchased, A gentlemen Mike Lopez helped me out with a replacement and even worked with me to get the new sight to me in time for an upcoming Mule deer hunt. An excellent group of people to deal with.

Did not realize that Pachmayr is owned by Lyman; now I do. Have used Pachmayr products for years and have always had a great experience with the quality of their items and the quality of their customer service.

Got a Big Dipper lead furnace , did not get hot enough , sent it back ,they just sent another one, not hot enough to cast , just a side note , FedEx dropped it off and the box was ripped open . careless packing on Lyman , The furnace was put in one corner with no cushion . I have a friends Lee 4 pound furnace no problem. Lyman , if you want to have this junk made in China , so be it . 75 dollars now and no results , sorry I am done with you'all !!!.. And FedEx , You ain't worth a damn ..

Called in with questions regarding my Lyman trimmer and Jaclyn helped me out. She was patient and courteous throughout the call. Even called me back in order to give me the time to research the issue with my product. As she promised she would- she called back and provided excellent follow up services and went above and beyond to take care of me. I am extremely impressed with companies who employ people that really care about the customer like she has in this situation. Definitely will do business with them again. Thanks, Jackie!

Avoid these guys. They don't ship items as promised. I ordered a new forend grip for my Remington 870 after a recommendation from an employee at Sportsmans Warehouse. It's been a week now and I've received no communication from this company beyond a single reply to a support ticket I put in two days after I ordered my item which basically said it would ship Monday or Tuesday at the latest. I plan on calling and putting in support tickets until I have a resolution. I refuse to have my money stolen by a company that supposedly cares about it's customers.

Sadly you can't replace individual punches from their otherwise very good pin punch set. Be careful, you have to buy a whole new set so you might be well advised to look elsewhere if you anticipate having to replace a single punch without buying a whole new set.

I emailed Lyman about a problem with the hand primer small primer tray being too deep and allowing primers to flip even with the cover latched. My tool is a very early production run product and several years old. I emailed simply to ask about new parts that may overcome this flipping problem. The response was nearly instantaneous and followed with the issuance of a shipping document for a new, upgraded small primer tray. Customer service cannot be better than that, I don't care what company or product.
I've been using new Lyman products since 1956 and have never been dissatisfied; hence my issuing of the 5 star performance rating.

I really like my new 54 cal. deerstalker, but I have problems with it. It was very hard to put the barrel in the stock. They have a caution do not force the wedge in in the stock and barrel,the stock could crack. You will void the warranty. How much is to much force, if I have never done it? So, why doesn't lyman make sure it will fit safely. It was a pain. Bad QA. Also, I received a cleaning jag with 10-32 threads and my ramrod had 8-32 threads. Again bad QA. I do like the gun, but Lyman could have saved me a lot of aggravation !!

When that didn t work suggested that I send the scales back and she would make sure they were repaired. I just received an email that problem was corrected and would soon be returned. The quick response and attention to detail was appreciated. The effort put forth to ensure that customer satisfaction was obtained was a blessing

I have a Lyman turret press, a Lyman Cyclone wet tumbler, a Lyman case trimmer, and a Lyman hand case prep tool. All are excellent.

I recently bought their kinetic bullet puller. The small collet for 223 failed. I emailed Lyman after hours and got an answer early the next morning. They are sending me replacement small collets. That is what I call customer service!

Great products. Great customer service. What more could I ask for? Thanks Lyman for being what every business should be!

Absolutely incredible after sales customer service. Have not seen better concern for the customer any where, and considering that I am half way around the world and 'down under', these guys really care about their customers. Long live Lyman.

I have used Lyman reloading components, dies and bullet moulds for over twenty years. Their quality is excellent and I have used these components for many years and thousands reloads. Their customer service is spot on and even for simple questions they are available and quick to respond. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Contacted Lyman asking about a repair.
Was advised that a repair was not possible and that I would receive a replacement at no cost including free shipping.
Lyman has my business from now on.
Great customer service from a rock solid company.

I ordered a sizing die in the middle of the C19 Pandemic. It did not ship right away so I sent an email to Lyman asking for status. Customer service responded immediately and said they were working with a limited staff in light of the pandemic. But, they would contact the shipping manager and ask that he ship my die. About 2 hours later, I got a notice that my die has shipped. Now that's what I call customer service!

The representative took my info and said she would send me a replacement. Literally 3 days later I received 3 in the mail.. You can't expect or get better service than that!!! Excellent company, excellent products, excellent customer service..
