I went here to see if I could get a peel. With my skin condition (hyperpigment) you have to be careful. They did know enough about african American skin so I purchased products. The lady sold me the wrong products so I had to take them back. This was just a waste of time. Please do research on all skin types so you can be the best. Everyone's skin is different. $160.00 on products that I couldn't use.

Jessica, who did the electrolysis for me was awesome. I felt only very little pain. I have had a really bad experience with someone else in the past and believe me it can be so terrible. But Jessica was fast and she knew what she was doing.

Just had a microneedling appointment with Rachel. She was fantastic. I ve had previous microneedling treatments at a different place, and this was by far a much more enjoyable and comfortable experience!! I ll be back in two weeks for another microneedling treatment! Highly recommend!
Their Laser Hair removal process is one of the least expensive and gives great results! Ask for Candy. She is amazing. Hurts a bit the first few times but well worth it! :)
I was very disappointed when I waited for 45 min for my treatment. During the treatment I was asked to smell the oil. When I did some spilled into my eye which stung badly during the treatment. The woman giving me my treatment was very apologetic about both instances. The salon is beautiful and so is the atmosphere. It was my first time there.
The massage was amazing. The massage therapist was knowledgable and helpful throughout the entire experience as it was my first time. I received the Clarity package and I also got my nails done (mani/pedi). The lady who did them talked with me and continued conversation throughout. She cut my nails a little too thin and short and so when filing them it was rubbing against the skin making it uncomfortable. Otherwise, everything was great.
So annoyed, we took my mom out to here to get pedicures here and the front staff was friendly I will give them that but then the lady s came out to get us with sat down and began the pedicures you could tell my girl that was doing my pedicure was in a rush it was frustrating me becuase my mom had the same thing my sisters lady was the best she did everything for her money! When I got home after the lady told me my toe nails were dried and I took of my shoe the big toe one wasn t dry enough it s all messed up! I m annoyed and pissed not worth my 56 dollars! Defiantly not a relaxing experience next time I m going to spa @ delmonta defiently worth your money there becuase you could use the back room as well!!

I ve gone there once and that was the last. I went for a wax and left with hairs still visible. I had to shave when I got home. I have not tried the other services but the waxing service I received was TERRIBLE.

The reviews online for the spa are very good I am new to the area and was looking forward to making an appointment for the month of January. After several attempts and speaking with the individual who answers the phone no date could be reached. She had to call me back several times after checking to see if she could coordinate the services for which we were asking. I would love to still visit the spa but having to wait until February isn't helpful to me
I went in with my girlfriend and her mom. We all wanted pedicures, they got us in but this might have been one of the worst pedicures I've ever gotten. The girl I had doing my feet wasn't doing half of what the other girls got done. She was yawning telling me she couldn't wait to go home and then not even a week after my nail polish chipped off my toes. I was very disappointed especially paying $58 for one pedicure. I am very doubtful that I will reccomend or go back.
Very happy with Luxe Salon, and especially Tiffany, whose skills with hair are unmatched. I have been going to Luxe for several years now and have always been satisfied with her work.
But what really sets Tiffany apart is that, in addition to being a top-notch stylist, she also fights crime in her off hours. Just today she shared how sore she was from chasing people over the weekend. That's the sort of devotion to both style and justice which I have come to appreciate at Luxe!
The facility is lovely and my massage was fine but ridiculously expensive. I can get the same quality for a more reasonable price so I won't be returning.

I went into the salon to get my nails done last week and was very impressed with the professionalism and how thorough the service was. All employees were also taking COVID precautions very seriously. My daughter & I received gift certificates for Luxe and decided to start Mother's Day weekend with a little pampering. The exterior of the salon is so unassuming but inside it is beautifully decorated with all the amenities you'd expect from a great salon. Modern, clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The greeting was prompt & courteous and the service was fantastic. Terri & Kelli gave us beautiful manis & pedis. I'll be returning soon to check out the spa services! Can't wait!
My stylist, Jennifer C., is fabulous. I've never left unsatisfied. Sadly, the Spa announced that her prices are going up, therefore I can no longer afford to see her and will need to find another salon with more reasonable pricing. :-(
My boyfriend surprised me with a gift certificate to Luxe for my birthday last year and I have been going ever since! The girls there are so friendly and the spa is so peaceful. I see Nicole(always recommend her) for my massages and she is awesome! Im able to completely relax while she works out all my tension in my upper back and neck, and after my massage i always love to sit in the sauna! I'm a Luxe girl for life :)

I got a groupon here for laser hair removal and I was super nervous at first. Everybody was really nice and I felt comfortable from the moment I laid down. I had a few different girls over the months of treatments only because I have a pretty tight schedule and they were all just as great as the last.
Got my eyebrows and nose waxed by Taylor D. She is great at what she does and very fun to be around. 10/10 will be coming back!

Kelly and Emily were amazing for Pedi and Mani. BUT, before booking this appointment I called on 4/26/16 at 12:53pm (didn't think it was necessary to take note of whom I spoke with) because I received a Spa Finder gift card as a gift and wanted to ensure they accepted those as form of payment. The girl at reception said absolutely, so I went ahead and booked appointment. Low and behold it was time to pay and I pull out my gift card for them to tell me they haven't accepted those cards in a year and a half. Great!! Just my luck. I wouldn't have booked there had their staff told me this on the day I called as my normal salon only charges $30 total for Mani/Pedi and they whacked me with an $80 price!!!! Also, even though we were booked for both no one knew we were getting Mani's done as well. Aside from the ladies who did a great job on my nails, this was a disasterous experience and I will never go back to Luxe and will warn others of their absurd prices as well. They never offered a discount for the trouble, nothing. Customer service gets zero stars. Get it together Luxe.
Took my daughter and a friend here for her 16th birthday. I was beyond pleased with the interior of the spa and the friendliness of the staff. Prices were very reasonable for the services provided. I have been to many day spas in WNY; this is now on my short list of ones I would return to.
Went to El for my first ever Brazilian. She was AMAZING! Put me right at ease and made a very uncomfortable situation fun! Did it hurt? Yep. But El was upfront and told me when it would be worse. Even scheduled a come back for more torture!
I go to Julia for my hair! I absolutely love her! She's great! The Luxe staff is always welcoming and they have the cutest boutique! I highly recommend this place to anyone!
The overall experience at Luxe Salon was top notch! Their sanctuary was a great place to relax prior to the massage. My massage therapist Caroline, was a consummate professionals and provided me with the best massage I've ever had. 100% recommend and 100% will be going back.
Extremely frustrated! I made an appointment last week with a specific girl for a specialized facial....I took the entire day off just so that I wouldn't have to go out in public with red and irritated skin. I spoke directly with the girl who I scheduled my facial with and she knew I was going to take my entire day off just for this. Not only was I required to place my credit card on file prior to my appointment (so that Luxe could charge me in case I failed to show up), but I also received not one, but two confirmation calls regarding this appointment, and I confirmed both times. While driving and enroute to my appointment, I received a call from Luxe Spa informing me that the person I scheduled with was not coming in that day. Mind you, I receive this call 20 minutes before I was supposed to be there, and while already driving there. The receptionist asked if I would like to "reschedule" or come in and see someone else. I specifically scheduled with this girl because I was told by another Luxe employee (and this girl) that she is the best, most skilled person to perform this specialized facial. So NO Luxe, I won't just come in and see whomever is there and, NO Luxe, I won't take another entire day off to "reschedule" with your salon. EPIC FAIL...and if I had canceled in the same timeframe on my end I would have been charged a penalty. VERY POOR! I will not be coming back to this salon.
***After seeing this review, the manger of Luxe called me and offered me 20% off my facial if I reschedule...which amounts to about $16.00. So, in compensation for my gas and time (traveling halfway there, just to turn around), having to rearrange my schedule to accommodate taking today off, and having rearrange my schedule again to reschedule for another day, is $16.00... I don't even know what to say about that.
Luxe spa is truely a spa. When you are at the spa the atmosphere takes you away from the Rochester area. Truly a relaxing time.They treat you very well. The services are complete. Always enjoy myself.

Went there to drop off and order some grub hub went inside ask did anybody order from grub hub everyone just stood there and looked at me would not answer me reason why because I'm a person of color and everyone who works there are white I would not recommend this place whatsoever because the workers there are very racist when it comes to people of color and minorities they are racist people in this business
I had my first experience at Luxe today and I was really impressed. The welcoming environment and the great customer service helped me feel comfortable and at ease. Jackie was friendly and professional and I will definitely be seeing her again in a couple of weeks.

Went in for a balayage color and cut. Received streaky low lights and an uneven cut. I emailed customer service to see if there was any possibility that they could get me in to fix it and haven t gotten a response. So I paid $190 (balayage $120, cut $45, and $25 tip-I still tipped because I understand what it s like to work for tips) for a hair color and cut that should have been much cheaper (highlights/lowlights $90), and I m already ready to throw box coloring over it and go elsewhere to have the cut fixed. It s not even like I have difficult hair to work with. My hair is super thin, there s not a ton of it, and just a little wavy. Pretty disappointed and annoyed that I spent all that money for nothing.
Just had an excellent massage with Andrew. I m a triathlete that is trying to quality for Kona for a second time which is to say I train a lot (12 18 hours per week). It takes a toll on me. Andrew did an excellent job in working out the tightness in my back and neck caused by the long hours of cycling. My whole body feels better already and I m looking forward to a restful night of sleep for a change!

I went in for a style and blowout. I was told over the phone it would be $32. When it came time to checkout, the stylist had whispered something to the cashier, and low and behold, my total came to $52. I wasn t even in there 25 minutes, nor was it even that great of a curl. I would NOT go back. For the price I paid, I could have gotten my hair colored and blown out for the same price.
I am so thankful and impressed with Julia and the Spa! We were there Sat. for my daughters 13th birthday and I rec'd news of the death of my grandmother. Julia made me feel so comforted and I was so blessed that I was there. My daughter and her friends had a great experience and I will forever be grateful for Ms. Julia and her kindness. THANK YOU!!
I wish I could recommend this place, but due to the poor customer service and unexpected skin peeling I experienced I cannot. I got the Luxe Signature facial with plant peel. The facial takes about 50 minutes, and was ok. To describe the experience I would say it is a lot of pawing at you. The esthetician does not focus just on your face, she works from your fingertips, up your arms and your face. Products are applied rapidly, removed rapidly, and then proceed to the next step. I had specific aging/ acne skin concerns I spoke about correcting on my face so I am disappointed that was not addressed. For $130 I think it was steep. Two days afterwards I experienced slight peeling on my face and major peeling on my hands. I inquired about this, said it was not a big deal, but I wanted to know if this was an expected result because I genuinely did not know. The response I got from Kelly Hertzog was dismissive, stating their products do not cause any peeling, and she asked if I was using any products on my own that would cause this (Rx, retinol, etc. which I have now been asked 3x of course I am not..) A week after the experience the peeling is almost gone from my hands, pic attached. Overall, disappointed in Luxe.
My second visit with Kelli, is just as expected........outstanding!!

I booked a couples massage for my fiancee and I and it was wonderful from start to finish.
I went to get a lash lift done and everyone there was very nice and welcoming. But, my lash lift was awful my lashes were curled in the middle and not at the root. Not all of my lashes were even curled some were just sitting straight out! Some of my bottom lashes were curled up as well. Overall my results were awful and i will never be going back to Luxe for a lash lift again.
I had my bridal hair and makeup done at Luxe earlier this July, Rachel for my makeup and Jill for hair. I have only good things to say and I was so happy with both. Our wedding day was a record-breaking 96 degress, and my makeup did not budge. It lasted all day and looked beautiful and natural, yet dramatic. My hair was also so beautiful and both Rachel and Jill gave so much attention to my vision. I couldn't be happier!

I made an appointment for root Touch-up, highlights and cut with Nikki. I was greeted at the entrance and immediately brought to Nikki s chair. The color and highlight was perfect. My hair was cut so that I could style it easily or wear it naturally wavy, which I could never do before. The salon was clean and all of the staff was friendly. I highly recommend Nikki and Luxe.

I recently had a massage at Lux and it was an amazing experience. The staff were kind and helpful as I had no idea what I was doing, had never been there before. The atmosphere was so relaxing and beautiful. I have been to several tranquil spa locations and Lux by far surpasses any I have experienced before. The massage was great and I didn t feel like I was being rushed out the door afterwards. I was able to relax in the sanctuary and sauna before having to head back to reality. I just spent most of my day at Luxe getting the Lilly Package: massage, facial, pedicure, hairstyle. It was the best day I've had in a long time! Each of the ladies who did the separate services were just phenomenal, pampering me to the extreme while treating me with respect, making me feel the utmost in comfort and relaxation. I left feeling like a new person, and will certainly return here for all sorts of future appointments. I had a cut and highlights done for the first time at Luxe recently and my hair has never looked better! My blow out lasted for days and I get a ton of complements! Its always a tad stressful going to a salon for the first time, but everyone was wonderful and I have amazing hair to show for it! They have a awesome gift boutique as well!
I was excited for a day at the spa (I'd been twice before). The receptionist scheduled me for the wrong facial and didn't take my contact information. Upon my arrival, I was reprimanded by the receptionist because they had tried to contact me to come in earlier but could not reach me. I was rushed through my appointment from the very beginning, almost given a facial that was described as a "casting" of my face with holes left in order for me to breathe, and once the technician decided she could actually do the facial I had originally scheduled, time had been limited. $300 later, very disappointed.
Luxe is the best spa I've ever been to. I always recommend this spa to friends and family. The atmosphere is very clean and comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly. And after your services they offer the sauna, and shower area for as long as you want The Luxe Spa is literally heaven on earth.

Lovely place! Very convenient location, so even if you are not in the area, it is easy to get to. Lots of parking and making an appt is never a problem, they have really great hours! If you need a stylist to go to, I highly recommend Amieka! She is professional and just a wonderful stylist. If you want color, there is nobody else to go to! She is a master colorist! You can tell that she loves her craft. She continues her education and has instructed as well. She is definitely the one to go to!
Love this place. I live 40+ miles away, but since discovering them with a LivingSocial coupon, I now make the trip without (a coupon). Leah and Amieka are both superb stylists with color (highlights/low-lights) and cut, and Christie is a wonderful aesthetician (laser hair removal). Kudos to the entire staff!
I love this place. My stylist is Amieka and she always gets me in when I need to. I have a very bright color I do and she and I are very creative and always on the same page. My hair always looks amazing and I constantly get compliments. If you want to do something fun and unique I highly recommend her.
By far the best costumer service and a hair salon! i came in looking like a NYC subway rat to donate my hair to Panteen rather than to locks of love, donated 14 inches and left looking like a star! I ve been going to Petra for two years now. She does the Keratin treatment on my very course, curly hair. She knows how to cut and style curly hair which is rare in a lot of salons i ve gone to. She always does an amazing job, I drive all the way from Buffalo to have her do my hair and she is the only one I trust with my hair. I highly recommend her!
