If I could rate Luxe a 0, I would. This place is incredibly unprofessional. They are terrible at communicating and responding via email and phone, and are not observant and hospitable once you are inside the salon.
I called Luxe asking about a $300+ hair treatment, and was told I'd receive a call back that day from a specialist with more information. Fast forward to almost a week later, nobody has reached out and called me. I emailed in, asking for the same information I requested over the phone. Nothing. As a last resort, I tried emailing one last time. Someone finally got back to me, although I had to wait a few more days to get a specialist to actually call me back. I was disappointed and very turned off by their lack of communication, but wanted to give them another chance to redeem themselves.
When I scheduled a consultation with the keratin specialist, I received an email confirmation, as well as a phone call a day before the consultation that confirmed my appointment time. When I arrived at Luxe for my 6:00pm appointment, I checked in, and sat and waited for over THIRTY MINUTES. The employees, including the woman who I had suspected to be in charge, all saw me waiting forever to be helped, and nobody once asked me if they could do anything, or looked into WHY I was sitting there for so long.
Finally, when I did get helped, the specialist apologized and said that she didn't see my name in her appointment book. I do not think that's an acceptable excuse, especially since I got an email and phone call confirming the consultation. When I finally did get to talk with the specialist, it was rushed, and no more than three minutes, while her other customer sat RIGHT beside me, watching and waiting.
My experiences with Luxe has left a TERRIBLE taste in my mouth. About a week ago, I received a phonecall from the specialist apologizing about the situation, and offered me a free conditioner if I were to get the $300+ treatment from them. No thank you. It was a nice touch, but it doesn't make up for the wasted time waiting, as well as the unpleasant experience I had at Luxe. I will never spend a dime there again, nonethless $300+!
I would not recommend anyone to go to Luxe if they want to be treated well, and have a problem-free experience.
