Extremely frustrated! I made an appointment last week with a specific girl for a specialized facial....I took the entire day off just so that I wouldn't have to go out in public with red and irritated skin. I spoke directly with the girl who I scheduled my facial with and she knew I was going to take my entire day off just for this. Not only was I required to place my credit card on file prior to my appointment (so that Luxe could charge me in case I failed to show up), but I also received not one, but two confirmation calls regarding this appointment, and I confirmed both times. While driving and enroute to my appointment, I received a call from Luxe Spa informing me that the person I scheduled with was not coming in that day. Mind you, I receive this call 20 minutes before I was supposed to be there, and while already driving there. The receptionist asked if I would like to "reschedule" or come in and see someone else. I specifically scheduled with this girl because I was told by another Luxe employee (and this girl) that she is the best, most skilled person to perform this specialized facial. So NO Luxe, I won't just come in and see whomever is there and, NO Luxe, I won't take another entire day off to "reschedule" with your salon. EPIC FAIL...and if I had canceled in the same timeframe on my end I would have been charged a penalty. VERY POOR! I will not be coming back to this salon.
***After seeing this review, the manger of Luxe called me and offered me 20% off my facial if I reschedule...which amounts to about $16.00. So, in compensation for my gas and time (traveling halfway there, just to turn around), having to rearrange my schedule to accommodate taking today off, and having rearrange my schedule again to reschedule for another day, is $16.00... I don't even know what to say about that.
