The hotel is clean, nice, comfortable, right and left, lots of sales, "some hotels in May have dimsum so good & not expensive. With hotek, there is also selling good and healthy salt team chicken.

Good and friendly service to guests and visitors to the location is easy to obtain with friendly prices and good facilities

Stayed at Mei Hotel Penang for 3 nights. Room is small but everything works. Conveniently located with street food stalls nearby and about 20 minutes' walk to Heritage Site. Value for money.

Book a deluxe twin, for 3 night. Need to deposit 50rm at first, and 10rm/night for tourism goverment tax. There are alot food stall & food restaurant around the hotel.
The room is bigger than usual hotel and very clean. But u can smell somebody perfume at the pillow, coz the dont use pillow protector to prevent it.
At the moment, they are preparing the gym facility.
They must fix their isolation noise, cause i can hear people noise along the way to my room & the people laugh downstair, coz alot of pub along the street near the hotel is very loud at night.
Please clean the toilet everyday.
The breakfast is so standard, only serve fried rice, fried bee hoon, fried egg, fried potatoes, salad, 1 kind of fruit, please variety the menu.

New budget hotel. Hotel is clean and well decorated. But bad sound proofing. You can hear all the sound from outside and upstairs.

Clean room with ample parking spaces right in front of the hotels. Walking distance to eateries, hawker centres and restaurants. They have a multi storey parking lots but I had never try them before. Breakfast is pretty simple. It will be great to add on more varieties on the food options.

We don't mind about the charge and we are so willing to pay the charge however it is very uncivilized for you to call us during our sleep at 7am to talk about the charge. Good luck with the hotel, we will not return to this uncivilized hotel and will not recommend to anyone.

The hotel suite is very large because there are 2 rooms and a living room, the kitchen is all fully equipped with appliances. Most importantly very worth the price and fit 1 family want berjimbaaa. Location in the middle of cities, komtar, and close to viral places. Staff pon sporting share best places for us 1 family. So farr tip top and over expectation .. thank youuu

Mei Hotel, in "3 Star Lane, is a new 3-star Hotel, 4 links developed. Nearly pity has "college" and 5 private hospitals are close.

Nice budget hotel that look like a 3 star hotel especially their car park. Value for money. Thumbs up!!

- concierge only open door for important person. My hand was full of luggage and i have to use my leg to open the door while the concierge sitting at his place.
- the room that i assign to need to share door with others. The hotel should inform me earlier. I have to upgrade my room and add money for the mistake they make.
- although i upgrade to two single bed that can combine to one king size bed, the housekeeping just attach the two bed together. Didn t even bother to change the duvet linen, blanket. My blanket was 2 separate single blanket and my bed keep separate to 2 single bed.
-the noise from room beside can be hear.
-the room air-con was fix to a certain mode and the room was quite warm.
- THE WORST OF ALL, my bed has a lot of bed bugs. At first i though because new environments i am not use to it. But after my trip. My leg got a lot of red dots. I need a proper answer from the hotel management.

Brand new hotel. The rooms are comfortable and value for money.

The location is pretty close to a hawker street and many food places in the area. We were only 15 mins walk from the main UNESCO zone. So walking was never a problem. There a couple pretty good restaurants infront and a good coconut spot at the end of the street. The hotel room isn't the biggest but very modern and clean. Breakfast was included, although very limited. Still nice to have. Viewing deck provides a very nice view. No gym unfortunately. Front desk and doorman were always very friendly.

The hotel is a new minimalist model ... comfortable ... quiet ... the beds are comfortable sleeping ... the bathrooms are ok ... there is a jet shower to shoot the ass ... and the wife takes the standard room ... buy the voucher in Medan ... the difference is more cheap ... to Island Hospital near the 2 km train ... ride cm 5 ringgit Grab ... just don't buy a voucher for breakfast ... the menu is not good enough to have breakfast in front of the hotel there is a restaurant Star Dimsum open at 8 in the morning 2 p.m. ... good how come ... it's better than the Medan Fishermen's dimsum ..

I have stayed at various local hotels in Malaysia, but the hospitality is more than the price. Friendly, fast working, noticeable.

Taxes are different from other states. A tourist tax (state tax) of 2RM per night is required in addition to an accommodation tax of 10RM per night (common to all states). Therefore 12RM per night must be paid locally as a tax. The deposit was 50RM for 19 nights.

View of the semi-outdoor sky garden (smoking area) on the 12th floor.

Points to remember
Amenity is only toothbrush, solid soap, body soap provided.
Small safe. PC does not enter.
Washstand without hot water.
-Terrestrial waves (TV1 / 2/3 etc.) are not reflected at all.
There is no coin laundry available in the vicinity. Best if you put it in the hotel.

Although concept is a bit like a budget hotel, but its on the higher quality of a budget hotel with really affordable price. And very clean.

But what really impressive is the staff's attitude. They are sooo helpful towards me & my family. Our car was suddenly unable to start upon leavinf the car lift. The staffs called mechanic to fix our car and wait with us until the car is okay. We are all very thankful & grateful.

Plus, we have several items left at the room after checking out. And the staffs called us back to collect them.

This hotel has become one of our favourite place to stay in penang. Will definitely come again.
