Great room, comfortable bed, forceful shower. Newly built and very clean and wonderful staff. Breakfast was great the first day, so-so after that.

Very springy restaurant. No shampoo. The restaurant is so clean. Although it is a new restaurant in 2 years, my tap is already moving.

Nice atmosphere. The hotel is kinda new, so everything is clean. I ordered the deluxe room. The difference between deluxe and standard is that, in deluxe room, you get a window. It depends on individual taste, but i highly recommended taking a deluxe room.

Well, as for the room itself, the floor is from wood, so it feels good to step on. The bathroom is quite okay, they provided toothbrush, soap. But I suggest you to bring your own shampoo, because the body shampoo provided is not for hair.

he environment of this hotel is clean and the room is comfartable the parking is unique because the lift can fit in a car for service is just fine just something dissatisfied because the way that the india receptionist talk to customer is so rude.

It's located in the town centre. Convenient for shopping and food hunting.
There is a bus station at the main road as well as the free shuttle bus to take you to the Komtar, Prangin Mall and to bus station.
From there you can take another bus to get to Batu Ferringhi. Bus number 101 & 102

Check in was smooth and fast. Staff were very helpful & professional in ensuring SOP was followed. My room was very comfortable, the bed is so good to sleep on.

The place is clean, and you can find more things to eat within a minute or two on foot! Super convenient! There is no problem for midnight

Well maintained rooms and a great reception staff during my stay. The rooms had enough auxiliary lighting for you to read on the bed and on the table as well.

Breakfast was well served and good.

One thing though: They need to have a sizeable awning at the main entrance. I and my luggage got really soaked in the rain just at the drop off point (right in front of the hotel).

I chose this hotel as our hotel of choice due to that it is named after my girlfriend Mei. The hotel offers superb cleanliness and is equipped with contemporary facilities. The receptionist is also rather friendly and facilitates in fastening our process of checking in. Overall, the hotel is marvelous for the price point set on Agoda. Definitely recommended.

Very good location. In the middle of good food, entertainment and malls. Very easy to get around. Room is spacious. Bed is comfy. Almost like a 5 star hotel standard but cheaper price. Staffs are friendly too. Very worth it. Will definitely stay here again.

Clean and comfortable, loved the bed. The breakfast was okay. However, the water power/pressure is a bit weak compared to other hotels that we went to. Overall, it was a great experience but not a great showering experience. Water pressure must be enhanced to increase showering pleasure, 2 star hotels can even do better in that area.

Just don't have the watee dispenser and panel is so noisy, other than that, this hotel is very great and very tall

Great location and clean new place. Breakfast was simple but nice.. ample food within walking distance. Management should consider a black out blinds for the bathroom.

Comfortable and clean place and strategic location plus good service

Room was new and relatively clean. Good location. Eateries nearby and a massage shop next to the hotel. Walls are pretty thin. You can hear other people talking in the next room. Staff were friendly except Mei Ling. She was reluctant to help and told us she was changing shift and said I don t get paid overtime . Raised her voice at my mom. Unprofessional. Mei hotel should do something about that.

This hotel has very nice rooms. Clean and spacious with a user-friendly layout. Good quality bed and pillows. Nice hot shower with good water pressure. Right in front of the hotel is Star Dim Sum restaurant where you can get a great morning breakfast! Just down the street are hawker centers with a great variety of food choices. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Great place to stay in when visiting Penang.

About 1 year old hotel. The room is large and comfortable. The only issue is insulation from noise is extremely poor. You can hear the upstairs room toilet activities and it is very loud inside the room.
Breakfast is paltry. Only 2 main dishes, 2 vegetable dishes, 2 side dishes, 2 types of salad greens and plain porridge. Same dishes everyday. Hotel requires RM$50 deposit when checked in.

Quite a nice hotel - clean and comfortable. Unfortunately parking isn't fantastic, but that's due to the terrain and not the hotel's fault. Might want to consider raising a bit of the parking ramp upfront.

Attend my nephew Birthday party at Mei Hotel 2nd floor Silver Spoon Cuisine today. Food is good but serve slow. Must improve on the speed of food serving.

The hotel is clean and the waiters are friendly. The car can take the elevator for easy handling of luggage. Like the floor-to-ceiling windows of the hotel room.

Be careful of your belongings. My daughter lost her wireless earphones in the room while we went to hospital. She was charging it and when we came back, earphone was gone. Of course hotel didn t want to investigate more about it by saying room service don t know anything about it.

It was a great stay - staff are friendly & most importantly the place is clean (i am very particular when it comes to hygiene especially the toilet)

It has a pretty decent size room and clean. For those who loves food then it is just within walking diatance and you will find many food court. Its near to the hospital like Island hospital for those who are on a trip for medical check up

The reception staff told me mei hotel is the only hotel disinfect the hotel in geogetown. I found it not true as many other hotels seem clean as well. I think the staff should not said this and make me worry to stay in other hotels.

I would've given 5 stars if they don't charge extra 10 RM for each night/room.
I wonder why the management do not include the 10 RM into the price on AGODA.

Overall my experience staying here really excellent. All the staff especially Mr. Mathan assist me with professionally. Will be there in future without hesitation.
