My very fav ski area. Closest to Denver just before Eisenhower Tunnel. No shuttle necessary from parking lot to ski lifts . If your party gets lost, everyone can meet at THE cafeteria easily. Prices are best in the area . Something for every skill level from green (easy) to double black diamond (extra hard). Views of Continental Divide. Super great pro shops for clothes and jewelry.
This is where lots of locals go -- no ski in/ski out condos so crowds of out of towners less.

Relatively inexpensive ( compared to the other front range places ). On-site ski rental shops are massively swamped at start of day, get your skis off site. Lifts are all non high speed, but the runs are good for little ones. Recommended for families.

Smaller resort but lots of fun! People there are great and very helpful. Only downfall, the "smaller" runs are located down the road, but the shuttle makes for an easy and fast solution to get there

Its great area to go skiing. Employee are very helpful. The only thing if you plan to eat there don't eat between 12-1pm beacuse the cafe area was so pack and very hard to find seating. That's when all the kids who are taking ski lesson eat lunch and most table are reserved for them.

No-frills skiing. Unless a frill is being at the continental divide looking down as the interstate passes below your feet while you stand above the treeline waiting to slide down.

But...why don't they sell drink lids? They have cups. No lids. Weird.

The most chill ski spot. One of the more convenient locations, right off I-70. Relatively short lift lines, great prices and deals, good variety of terrain and easy to navigate for all skill levels. Easy place to go with a group, split up, and meet for beers later. Everyone can do their own thing.

Amazing!!!

Amazing!!!
Even for beginners they have huge bunny hop area with a constant bus service from main ski area to bunny hop. Be there before time if u are planning it on spring break and want to rent equipments as afterwards u ll be facing long queues. It closes early around 4 so don t waste your time lol.
Great cafe, nice food, good safety majors and conscious team.
For beginners, I ll suggest to book lessons previously.

I am 68 years old. I have been skiing here since I was 7 years old. It is a wonderful place to ski, to meet up with friends and the staff always takes great care of all of us.. Many of us have skied together since we used to dare each other to take that big jump over 60 years ago. Loveland rocks, pure and simple!

Easy to get to is the best thing about Loveland. We and our kids have all learned there and while the prices are reasonable the quality of instructors is not what you find elsewhere. Their beginner terrain is very small and often overrun by obnoxious ski racer kids and their entitled parents. The food is poor and there s never anywhere to sit and eat as people come in and squat on tables all day.

What's not to like about Loveland? Great terrain with that small mom and pop ski area vibe. If you've only been to Loveland early season you're missing out on some truly excellent terrain up top!

Loveland is a small resort that offers challenging blacks for advanced skiers and bunny slopes for the kiddos. The cost of the ski experience at Loveland is where the real value is. Overall, this is my go to spot for a quick ski trip getaway.

I started snowboarding this year and Stacy Smith has been a great coach. He has a way of explaining things that allows you to understand the techniques needed to succeed and grow as a new snowboarder. Great customer service, too.
I fell and hurt my tailbone a couple weeks ago during a lesson and didn't feel like continuing for another two hours. Stacy and one of the managers, Greg, I believe his name is, were able to comp me the last 2 hours of the lesson so it could be re-scheduled. This is the kind of service that will keep me coming back for seasons to come. Great place.

Loveland is Colorado last best kept secret. The staff is awesome and very friendly. This is my second trip this year to Loveland. Very fair prices on pretty much everything. Chris abad is who you should ask for when needing anything while in Loveland. Thanks again

Awesome location. Great, humble staff. The prices are super reasonable. Skiing itself is not cheap but their pieces are lower than other ski resorts nearby. If you re a beginner looking for a good experience and a lot of fun, you re going to like Loveland. Great views, cheap prices and helpful staff. You can save some money by bringing your lunch also. They have a storage locker for you to rent if you decide to bring some food or simple store some belongings. There is also a cafeteria with food and refreshments. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Great ski area, if you're intermediate or advanced. Not a lot of runs for beginners (even greens are more like beginner blues). If you know how to ski or ride though this place is fantastic! Can't beat the prices or short lines!

Jeff and Adam are both amazing instructors. My son took two lessons with Jeff and is now hooked. My one lesson with Adam was great. I started out scared to death. By the end of the day I actually had fun. Neither of us can wait until next year!

It's got a great range of terrain. People are chill and it is a great place to bring you kids. Feel free to pack a cooler, tailgate or just bring a sack lunch. Also Loveland is affordable.

Colorado locals go to ski area. The 4 packs we purchase in the fall make it the most affordable place in Colorado. Snow is always great. A bit windy sometimes. Lots of bluebird days.
