Absolutely wonderful place and the work they do is also amazing! They have summer camps and birthday parties too. We just had my daughter's birthday here. They did such a beautiful job with decorating and they were so helpful with the guests and the kids. They made seashell necklaces and we even had a scavenger hunt throughout the facility and the kids also got a tour of the sea turtles

It's all about turtle rescue at the marina. You see turtles that have been injured by boat propellers or have injured themselves on plastic debris. You have a question and they have the answer, whether it's mating habits, migration or how you can help protect them.

This is more like a turtle Hospital or rescue what turtles that were found in the area some of the terrorists were up to 300 lb and we're getting IV at some of them got hit by boat propellers I will be in rehab. Over there and then sent back into the wild definitely nice place to see

Sad to see the turtles in captivity but at the same time happy to know they are there to be helped and returned to the ocean. It's sad that people don't realize how a boat can injure one of these beautiful creatures.

Such a great organization! Took the kids today - great place to see and learn about ocean life. So many turtles to see, all being rehabilitated. Very nice, clean facility. Great gift shop too. We will definitely visit again.

We had a great tour about the Florida reef ecosystem that was lots of fun to learn about and watch while they fed all the marine life in the tanks. Thank you for the informative tour and learning about how invasive lion fish are a danger to the ecosystem.

Regrettably they are under construction at this time but it will be elaborate when completed. There is still plenty to see. They rehabilitate Loggerhead Turtles that have been impacted by either man or environment in order to release them back to the ocean. I enjoyed reading the signs in front of each tank that describe the medical issues, weight etc. They even have allotted names to personalize your encounter. I didn't have much of an affinity for them until I read a book just about these incredible turtles and now I am just truly amazed and thankful that an establishment like Loggerhead Marine looks after them. Who knows, perhaps someday we'll be able to communicate with them and find out how they navigate. Wouldn't that be cool!
There are picnic tables and a children play gym. I think there is also a barbecue. If you park east of the Loggerhead building it just a 2 lane road with a crossing light to the beach. Enjoy and make a day of it. This is a great place to bring children. Don't forget to explore the well stocked gift shop.

Such a cool place. Good for a quick day activity. Was there just under two hours, and that allowed plenty of time to learn stuff at the exhibit hall, and then view all the turtles in their tanks! There are volunteers everywhere to answer your questions; they were all kind and knowledgeable. We went in June and there were dozens of baby sea turtles in the tiny tanks.

The very nicest and exciting/ educational turtle rescue we have ever been to. Our family always sets aside time for Loggerhead Marinelife Center whenever we travel to Palm Beach which is at least once a year. We had the awesome pleasure of bidding Rosie a fond farewell as she waa about to be released back into the ocean after nearly two years of medical care and rehab. We donate money every time and really enjoy the gift shop (it is where we buy our annual souvenirs) , the educational programs and of course visiting with and measuring up to the various types of turtles. Thank you for all you effort on behalf of Marinelife!

Wonderful experience. Volunteer guides were very knowledgeable and offered as much information about the turtles, their injuries, treatment plans and such. Some displays not open due to social distancing requirements, but certainly time well spent.

Incredible facility. It's a must go. Free admission but donations to the organization are recommended. It has a beautiful area to learn turtle basics, great gift shop, turtle rehab tanks, and an area to watch any medical procedures on three turtles. Behind the facility is a beautiful short trail to the beach

This is a nice place to visit all least once to see the good that they are doing for the sea turtles here. They have a small exhibit in the front of the building along with a gift shop. Tours are given for the kids and everything is easily seen when you walk through so you can see the care they give to injured sea turtles. There is a small cafe in the back and there is an outdoor nursery that is chained off so people don't get too close but you can still see them. This place has brought some of my faith in humanity back and I was surprised to see all the good this place is doing. Everyone living in Florida should visit at least once and they are kid friendly.

This is an amazing place. It's great for families and anyone who loves nature. You get to see beautiful, amazing, sea turtles up close...but they are not captive in a zoo. They are being rehabilitated so they can return to the wild where they belong.

Wonderful experience seeing the turtles up close. The injured turtles are treated at this facility and kept in captivity until they can be released to the ocean. It made me think about how lucky these animals were to be rescued. I am sure many that aren t rescued perish. To all boaters out there be careful and slow down...

Great experience. Good for kids and adults. Very informative experience with knowledgeable and friendly staff and volunteers. Center has a gift shop, indoor info center, hospital and outdoor tanks with multiple turtles bring rehabilitated. Outdoor area is covered and there are plenty of fans to help stay cool.

Neat center with windowed tanks so kids of all ages can see rehabilitating sea turtles. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and friendly. They were hosting a beach cleanup when we arrived, and also have an activity area for hands-on learning for older children. Our toddler loved walking around the little garden, and the park area right outside gives plenty of space for running around. Center also has bathrooms, an indoor museum area, cafe, and gift shop. Really enjoyed our morning here.

Really small but free and friendly. We learned a little about sea turtles from an indoor exhibit, but the main attraction is outside in tanks, set in a circle. You can walk around them and meet the sea turtles in rehabilitation. They have a plaque with their name and what is ailing them. Some couldn't move with algae on their shells while others were active and almost ready to be sent back to sea. A good size gift shop though with lots of sea turtle goodies, our favorite one being sea turtle adoption. My kids loved picking one of the turtles we had seen and getting a package of information about them. We then went and took pictures with him. They are still talking about "their" sea turtle, hoping he gets better and wanting to keep track of him. One of the most interesting things we've done on vacation. They also had walking/ hiking trails.

Great place to take your children if they enjoy sea life. It is free to come in but it is always nice to give a little donation for all the great work they do with injured sea life. Behind the marina there is. Public park where the children can play or just have a picnic.

The work being done here to save the turtles is wonderful. This is a state of the art facility saving many of these turtles who are brought in daily. There is a customer education program to help teach beach goers and boaters to help avoid injury to these beautiful creatures in the first place. Very informative. There is a gift shop on site. Children 4 + would love this facility.

I'm so disturbed with my experience. I came here 2 months post covid-19 in phase 2 which did not include organizations such as this one. I was forced upon entry to purchase a mask, which I do not chose to wear. This is an outdoor venue with plenty of room for social distancing.. but for my son who was super excited I paid for the mask and wore it, not knowing I would be harrassed and followed by staff watching to see if I moved my mask from my face at any time.
This is ILLEGAL. You can force whoever you want to wear a mask, but you cannot harass someone who questioned that it was mandatory .
I wore my mask out of respect, and lifted it slightly every few minutes because I had an extremely hard time breathing in 90 degree weather at an outdoor event. I was harrassed and bullied by the staff, and it is completely unacceptable . Wearing a mask is not mandated by the government it is optional. For some people a mask is more unsafe, I never should have been harrassed to that level of disrespect. I am very involved in the community and I will make sure this is known.

Fabulous. I LOVED this place. What a great way to spend a couple of hours. Very informative and I loved hearing the story about each turtle and knowing they will be released when ready. Great gift store with all kinds of treasures.

Love this center! Great if you have an interest in local wildlife and ecosystem, especially turtles. Turtle and hatchling releases are open to the public, but night releases and walks have a small charge that helps fund continuing operations. Volunteer staff was very friendly but during the releases it was a bit confusing for us first timers. Additional free parking around back by a covered picnic area.

This place is awesome! I go in weekly with my campers because of the exciting exhibits and the educational values that my kids leave with. I am also very grateful that the center lets our campers in, because sometimes there is a lot of us, so they are very accommodating. I like how the main goal is to rehab and release the Sea Turtles. I m also really hoping to work here one day. I have sooo much experience and a degree in the field, right now I work for FWC, but this place feels like home! Hopefully one day...

A sea breeze and beautiful art by talented people. Very organized event , could have been a more perfect day. The shuttle buses make it even more enjoyable because you're not trying to get through all that traffic to find a parking spot.
