Great place to go visit. Staff was a bit overly strict in gift shop with kids. I understand their concern, but put a little damper on the trip. Small place, not a full day trip. Many other adventures they run are very expense but seem interesting. Wish we had more time watching the turtles. I was there with a field trip group.
This is like my family's second home. I take my kids here as much as I can. L9ve seeing the turtles. I love what loggerhead does for the sea turtles and what they stand for!
Love this beach , free parking, easy beach access.
We enjoyed the Center. We got Up close to these amazing creatures and the gift shop is loaded with things to bring home.
Thus place was TERRIFIC staff was great, informative and friendly... U got up close, I was able to watch sea turtles... GIANT ones come onto sore, lay eggs, and go back to see under full moon. The police in this town are SUPER FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL!!! beach was beautiful and not that crowded, walk on the pier u could see clear blue water... And bottom... Collecting shells was GREAT
I fish juno pier every day and I love it don t get me wrong but the people that work there is not good randy is the only person there that picks on little kids and threaten them to get kicked off but if a adult is there doing the same thing they don t say anything and we just had 8 rods stolen in 2 days and randy said he dosent care and stuff like and he won t check the cameras and stuff like that he dosent know the fish regulations he held a net and some one else gaff and said if u gaff a 45 pound permit ur getting kicked off he said it would be illegal but ur allowed to keep one over 22 inched I think juno pier needs a new manager asap August 3 2018 new update rods keep getting stolen the pier won t help there cameras don t work and juno pier is the richest pier on the east coast and they won t help us find the thieves if it wasn t for us fishermen they would not have as much people that there is right now randy just needs to go
What a cool place to visit to learn more about the Loggerhead and other turtles. he staff is very knowledgeable and takes the time to answer any questions. Conveniently located with plenty of parking available.
Love this place. Enjoy the turtle exhibits, gift shop and friendly staff.
Thumbs up to the facility. Thumbs down to the rude volunteer that scolded my 2 year old for being a toddler.
A must visit place when in the area. Make a voluntary suggested $5 donation per person on the way in. Don't worry about parking if the main lots are filled because the overflow lots are not very far away.
I've been here a couple times and every time it's a blast..its amazing what they do here
The center offers amazing educational programs! We also enjoy the various fish tanks, turtle rehabilitation area, park, picnic tables and Beach access.
I absolutely love this place and everything they stand for the workers and volunteers are very friendly and very polite and have big hearts towards our marine life everything you buy in there boutique goes towards local marine life and is all sponsored by Ed Hardy they rescue and release if possible this place is amazing and so is everything they stand for there s also a great picnic area and across from it is the beach
Very informative. Live patients on display. East parking lot doubles as beach access. Very nice. Lots of engaged voluteers.
Free Marinelife Center. Friendly Staff, and it's always cool to look at and learn about Turtles
I think its a wonderful place to help the turtles. Nice gift store
Amazing turtle center, very informative and they do so much for us locally. I love going and seeing the different kinds of rescued turtles and especially when the little babies are there
Great place to come see and learn about the turtles - great for kids!
It takes guts to rescue so many turtles like you guys.
Love sea turtles, they take good care of sick and injured until released. God's work!
An important place to bring your kids to help teach the importance of marine life and respect for turtles.
Nice place if you like sea turtles! It's cool to see all the rescues!!
Our guide, Jules was very knowledgeable and patient with everyone's questions. A great rescue center.
It's a beautiful thing that they do here! Great job to all the volunteers.
Love seeing all the turtles. Very clean. Informative staff.
My family loved the , and it was definitely an education in how we directly affect our environment with our trash. I ll be returning anytime we are on that side of the state.
This place is amazing! What an excellent facility and a wonderful mission! There are volunteers everywhere to explain how the turtles got there and any other info they know about them.
There is also a great little gift shop with a ton of products to help you live a greener, more waste-free lifestyle. I would have bought so much more if I could have fit it all in my luggage.
I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area; it's an incredible location!
I have always been a fan of saving sea turtles. It was good to see a hospital that does just that and educates the public at the same time.
So many turtles, so little time! Donations requested, no fee to enter. Take the whole family ! Maybe you ll catch the hospital working on a patient.
Wonderful place full of excellent volunteers to help the turtles
Went here with my grandchild. It was a great place to take a 4 year old. She loved seeing all the turtles. Very educational. They do not charge and accept donations for what they are doing to help the turtles in South Florida.
A wonderful place to take the kids. We enjoyed our visit.
AMAZING!!! If you are ever in the Palm Beach area, I HIGHLY recommend you visit here!!! The exhibits are so informative, the turtles are so beautiful and the cause is so noble. AND, the beach across the street is a MUST. Most beautiful beach in Florida I have ever been to!!!
Fun time for the whole family. Lots of informative information from the guides. Young children to adults will enjoy there day at this turtle sanctuary.
Well worth your time and donation. Their volunteers tell the story.... dedicated and compassionate.
No matter how many times we visit LMC, we always enjoy ourselves. There are always new turtles to see and we love how each has their story on plaques near their tanks. The volunteers/staff are always very friendly and welcoming, and the gift shop is any turtle-lover's DREAM! Please remember to make a donation when you visit. Entrance is free but these people couldn't do the great work they do without the financial support of visitors.
Interesting and cool to see some turtles, but not a whole lot other than that. Good work being done by these people though!
Great work. Nice exhibit and store. Friendly staff.
Such an amazing place. Great cause and great staff!
Wonderful tour, fantastic facility, and a great gift shop for tourists and locals alike. Family friendly and a great spot for couples to spend an afternoon.
Kid friendly and kind staff made for another awesome adventure at this small but fun venue.
Worth visiting at least once while in South Florida. We support their cause to help the environment and save the turtles!
Definitely visit and support this place and all the awesome work they do!!!
What a wonderful and informative FREE (donations accepted) outing for families when visiting West Palm Beach! Small layout for those with little ones, but not small in what they can see and learn about. Beach right across the street as well as a playground nearby.
Interesting and educational. Learn about Sea Turtles and how these great folks rescue and nurse them back to health! Stop using plastics people - as this is what ails these magnificent creatures 85% of the time, they eat it thinking its food! Then they get digestive failure..it's sad but we can turn that around. They have releases all the time of the healthy ones, you csm attend those- a great place under a huge expansion, across from beautiful Juno Beach in Jupiter.
Incredibly friendly staff, lots of educational opportunities, plenty of sea turtles. It's always nice to see an organization dedicated to wildlife conservation. The Jr vet program was fun for my family too!
This was an amazing place! I tell everyone about it.
Great place! People were very nice and we're very happy to talking about why the turtles we're there for.
This is a must see every time we travel to visit our relatives in the area. They're in the process of expanding but it's still well worth it, even now. It's donation based entry and working in a nonprofit myself, I understand how important it is to support causes that mean something to me. Staff are not only friendly and professional but also knowledgeable about their patients. You only need a couple hours at most if you want to read about each turtle, talk with staff, explore, and shop. Highly recommend!
I just wanted to express my appreciation and gratitude for the work being carried out at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center. For a number of years, we've been coming up from Miami as a family to enjoy the center as visitors. This year, we enrolled my daughter in the summer camp program offered thru the center and made it our family vacation. I cannot say enough about how much my daughter has enjoyed the experience. She s learned so much and has had a lot fun doing it. The counselors and staff have made a great impression on her and on us as a family and reflect a culture of thoughtful conservation and awareness that is important in our communities. We thank you and plan to continue visiting and supporting the center and it s programs for years to come.
make a visit to this fantastic not-for-profit turtle rescue and rehab centre, great educational tour from our volunteer guide Frank. great to learn more about the turtles and the brilliant work undertaken at loggerhead @loggerheadmarinelifecenter
The turtles that are there in recovery are accessible to view up close so that's a fun experience. The show room is not very big but it has some good displays and information. When we visited they had just gotten a "batch" of hatchlings in that had not made it to the ocean so they were being checked up by the vet and could be seen from the window. Every turtle had its profile on display showing why it was there and what was wrong with it. The souvenir shop has lots of cool things for all ages and in various price ranges. It's not an all-day activity but definitely worth a visit!
Wonderful place for kids to learn about loggerhead turtles and the sea turtles hospital function
Great for young kids, but won't last more than 1.5 hr of fun
So beautiful it's amazing what they do for these turtles
Great facilities. Educational. Across the street from the beach.
What a great place to visit. Quite a few sea turtles in big "recovery tanks" trying to regain their health after being rescued from dire circumstances. Lots of sea turtle information and staff and volunteers providing information. Scheduled programs and tours occur throughout the day.
This place is amazing. Getting to see these magnificent creatures so close and learning about everything the center is doing to protect them. Great for kids and adults.
Great little place with lots of information on the beautiful Sea turtles. Very informative, the lady doing the Turtle Talk was super friendly, funny and willing to answer any questions. I think it s so wonderful the work they do in rescuing, researching and rehabilitating these wonderful creatures. Let s all work together to save the turtles and all the other marine life by picking up our trash, cutting down on plastic, not disturbing nests or turtles on the beaches. The Hulk was in seriously bad condition from a boat that severely damaged his shell, when we saw him he was bandaged up and getting blood drawn, he couldn t even be put in water because he isn t strong enough yet would drown. So thankful for Loggerhead Marinelife Center for doing everything they can to save this guy and all the others. I highly recommend stopping here and learning about the turtles and donating whatever you can so they can continue doing this work.
Lovely center. Free entrance but a recommended 5$ donation. Friendly staff. I'm no expert but it looks like they do great work for the animals.
Wonderful experience learning about the rehabilitation of these turtles.
Been here twice now, love the environmental work they do.
The Loggerhead Marine Life Center is a fantastic facility with fantastic staff. All workers and volunteers are very knowledgeable and are all willing to talk to you about the turtles. There's also a nice mini-museum, guided tours at certain times, and a gift shop. I believe all proceeds go towards helping the turtles under their care.
Awesome place. Great to see the impacts they make. Suggest everyone visit at least 1 time.
Every time I go here I am absolutely impressed. What the loggerhead team is doing to educate and rehabilitate is beyond amazing!
Very informative and fun to see/hear about their patients from all over the country. Cool merchandise too! I do wish they had a bit more interactives, but they do offer various opportunities/experiences if you're local and can be around when they happen.
Amazing organization that helps protect and clean up our local beaches and turtle habitats. They take in and rehabilitate injured turtles. Schools come to learn more about turtles and keeping the beaches clean. Once a month they host a beach clean up that usually has a good turn out. Really fun way to help clean up our local beaches and have fun with your kids. They provide a tasty breakfast after.
Please remember to leave a donation for coming in to see the turtle hospital and education center. Even if I have $2 I will make sure to leave something. The gift shop is great but overpriced as most gift shops tend to be.
Behind the turtle center is a fun little park and shaded picnic areas.
A great place ro teach little ones the importance of protecting our oceans. The center hosts a variety of sea turtles in different stages of healing- many of tgem initially hurt by pollution. Once a month the cwnter hosts a beach cleanup where one can join in on cleaning the nearby beach to help ensure a safer environment for these beautiful creatures.
I really had a great time at this place first time ever been and it's such amazing job with these people do to help the animals that get sick through hurricanes and different type of debris I just love it I will bring anybody here
This place is amazing, and it's free. They ask for donations. You can learn so much from the employees and volunteers.
A great work going on here. Distressed turtles being rehabilitated. Knowledgeable volunteers answering questions.
A must visit if you're out of town. Especially during the summer when the hatchlings are being born.
