Great place that is free/cheap for the family (you should donate if you go!). Educational and fun takes only 30 minutes to see everything unless you do the tour. Viewing windows in the turtle tanks so the little ones can see them.

We absolutely loved this place. Admission is free but donations are encouraged. The staff was friendly and informative and the turtles were gorgeous. I can't even begin to explain all the good this place does. It's definitely a must see attraction if you're in the area.

Such a wonderful place with great people doing worthwhile work. This faculty rescues turtles, nurses them back to health and releases them back to their habitat. Everyone was so kind and definitely seemed to really care about the turtles. The gift shop was full of reasonably priced things that you can feel good about buying to help continue the work being done. Definitely worth the visit.

These people do an amazing job both protecting the sea turtles and educating the public. This is not a zoo, it is a rescue hospital...every turtle there has its own sad story of how it got there. But if you are lucky enough to see one of the releases on the beach, you will know it is all worth it.

We loved our visit here to the "Turtle Hospital". It was neat to see the turtles up close and to see them being treated for whatever their ailments were. It was educational and is a great place for kids and adults both. Nice to see there is a place for the rescued turtles to go and get healthy and then released back into their environment.

Love seeing how they help the turtles so they can return to their own habitat. Signs are informative to tell you each turtles story. The staff is great at explaining and answering questions. Very compassionate about rehabilitating turtles. Gift shop has nice quality items.

Great place to bring the family to educate them on Sea Turtles. I especially appreciated the level of care that is being given to these majestic animals. I especially loved that we got to see the little turtles. Will be coming back.

Awesome place, children like it very much, have explanations, have watching, and have simulated internships. It is very professional here, we are driving from Orlando to Miami by the way, just to catch up with the two o'clock in the afternoon.

This place is really cool! It is free to enter (donations of any amount are welcome). It's a pretty open place with pools and tanks for loggerhead sea turtles that are receiving care before being released back into the ocean. They do educational events and Spring and Summer camps here. The gift shop has a lot of different things.
There is a path to walk near the main building that leads to the beach. It is a nice place and they have a great program here for educating the public and helping sea turtles. I'd love to go back again sometime.

I have been to many turtle hospitals the free tour was quick and very generalized. The turtles were of course great to see. The gift shop had a great selection. The information from our tour guide was not entirely accurate or complete from the limited time we had to discuss.

I love this place! I enjoyed seeing the sea turtles this close. It is a great work the center is doing to help and protect the species. One of my favorite parts is being able to see the baby turtles. I wish I was able to touch one but it is part of the protection. The entrance is a Bit expensive but if it helps to save the turtles then every penny is worth it. I would recommend visiting this place.

It's the best experience we had ever !. What a dedication and a lot good work to make this happen by all these volunteers. The actual release of a turtle is the diamond on all that hard hard work.

Best regards, Bert & Annet (Netherlands)

Makes for a great stop for families during a vacation and locals a like! Warm friendly people will greet you upon entry, there's no cost, donations welcomed at your discretion of which directly contribute to the cause. Kids are full of excitement each time I've visited! Knowledgeable staff eagerly share their stories about the history of the facility, facts about sea turtles, and about the aid they offer to the sea turtle population. Great experience, and great cause! I highly recommend setting some time aside for this experience! PS. check out their website for further details AND if your available time matches up with a release of one of the patients, DON'T miss it, jot it into your calender now!

We visit every year when we come for vacation. A great place for all ages! You learn about the turtles andhow they are effected by pollution in the waters. You then go outside as volunteers tell you about the turtles being treated in the tanks. You canwatch through big pictures windows into the turtle hospital. There is also an outdoor play area for little ones.

We went when it was storming. Although almost all of the space was closed due to COVID the storm, Beth made the 2nd visit of mine and first for my girlfriend incredible. She was knowledgeable sharing many "wow" facts that made our visit worth it even in a storm.

Stories about the turtles personalities were the best.
